Pros: Tank looks great. No missing pieces
Cons: pricey for non lego, front armor panels on tank come off easily due to connection design
Overall. Satisfied with purchase, will try simply military sets lego refuses to make in the future.

I like that I can have a tank for my collection, sadly, the engineering and quality control are sorely missing. This is not my first Chinese kit but it may be the most difficult one. My set arrived with one short shot of a road wheel (first photo, a specialty part) a handful of missing parts and other pieces had poor color mixing (second photo of a track link). The links themselves are problematic and fall apart constantly. If you place the idler wheels as called out in the instructions, the tracks will interfere with the top skirting. With these Chinese kits, if you can get through an assembly step without missing pieces, you feel accomplished, what a bummer.

I will admit I did have my doubts on this one. Fortunately, I was completely taken by surprise and now have an awesome lego m1a2 Abrams on display! Upon ordering, I was a bit worried about the brick quality and the overall appearance of the completed set. Once I opened the packaging and got started on the mini project I was immediately surprised by how well each brick snapped on to each other and how durable each brick felt. The build itself is sturdy (aside from the turret thats mounted onto the hull there were only a few studs connecting the two together which is honestly not a big deal). In terms of appearances, the lego tank is pretty spot on. I did shorten the barrel length just a tiny bit to get a closer representation of the m256 thats mounted on the real tank. The interior houses the turbine engine, munitions stowage and some crew space. I also found it cool how the set even included an m2hb and what looks like a 249 (hard to tell in lego form) as some secondary armaments. My point is that they really put a lot of attention to detail in the overall design. Aside from some small changes, its an awesome project to work on if you love legos and tanks!

I bought this for my 11 year old nephew… It’s by far his favorite Lego set he’s ever had. He put it together in 2 days.

The model was well packaged and the instructions were excellent. The model itself is too basic for serious modelers, but is a good introductory kit for beginning serious modelers.

I had a great time building this kid I’m 75 years old never build a brick kit in my life I want to try. It was a challenge at times but I took my time I’m in no hurry and everything came out really really nice just need to have a little Patients. It did help that I’ve had a lot of building experience throughout my life what are the types of kits

My Twin boys got Legos for their Birthday, which I ended up helping them build. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed building stuff and decided to get something I would be interested in. I found this product while searching the web, and Amazon had it for the best price, so I ordered it. I was a little concerned since it wasn’t a name brand, and that pecies might be missing or the instructions might suck. There was no need to worry though, as everything went together perfectly, and without any issues. I even ended up with extra pecices, that may be used to build the HMMWV. It took me about 10.5hrs over 3 days, and only a few glasses of whiskey… lol… I will definitely buy this brand again if I decide I want to build some more.

Made the Hummer first. Fun and a bit challenging for an experienced LEGO person. Highly recommend!

Fantastic kit for intermediate to advanced builders as some of the parts are not as well-fitted as name brand kits and some of the parts like the tracks can be fairly fragile (I broke several during my build but the company sent some extras). Others have stated the instructions are a bit strange. I found that this is mostly due to the color changes in each step (see photo); they definitely aren’t as clear as the name brand instructions.

Overall I had a lot of fun building this kit and would recommend it to any other buyers.

This set is pretty neat, not as complicated as Lego, but still takes a awhile to fully assemble. I would recommend it if you love Lego, it’s a great set and I haven’t seen anything like it before. It does come in a Lego techinc style box. The instructions are a little difficult to follow but its nothing over the top. Overall the set is great for collectors and enthusiasts, I wouldn’t recommend it for kids 10 and below because it is fragile on some parts.

This was a gift for my grandson (9). It was well packaged and the instructions easy to follow. My 1st impression was “so many pieces” but he dived right in and appeared to be contented. I joined my grandson at times during assembly and found it to be very relaxing. (Therapeutic)
The assembly choices are a hummer or tank which is a nice option. He chose the tank design.
