Bought a new house and realised it didn’t have any fire alarms so bought these. Arrived quickly and we installed with command strips on the ceiling which have worked well and are still up 6 months later. They are not too sensitive and don’t routinely go off doing regular cooking, happy with the product.
Purchased to replace an older alarm with a built in non replaceable battery. The beauty of this item was that as specified it fitted on to the base plate of the old alarm and was a quick fix. Nice when something does as it is supposed to.
The first one of these I bought the battery lasted only a couple of years instead of the required 10 and I was told there was a faulty batch and I got replacements. Same happened again the second time. The problem is that once you’ve actually got them installed, it make sense to keep to the same brand as you haven’t got to worry about doing any more decorating when you remove them, and I like the fact that you can simply slot a new one into the original holding, but the batteries never last as long as they’re supposed to. .
Was a little worried about replacing the old alarm using the same base plate but after a quick chat with the company they said they were compatible.
Put them up so easily, tested and all ok….so far.

Delivered quickly, bought to replace one that has reached the evite of it’s battery life. Old one twisted off the base plate, new one twisted on, job done in 10 seconds
Easy to install, fits the old bracket perfectly, however it has to go on the right way, it can go 180 so easy to put on wrong and assume it doesn’t work.
The test sound is not very loud, so to test the actual sound level you may need to burn some toast.
This was a replacement for an original Fire Angel that was fitted by the fire brigade about 12years ago. It fits onto the existing base which is a bonus.
Hopefully it will last as long as the the previous one.
This is almost the same as the old one, so I could just slot it into the previous base plate. Ha the old one a long time so nothing to complain about at all.
These Fire Angel fire alarms are very good, with approx 10 years battery life, we have had them for the last 10 years.
Can’t tell if it’s any good unless it detects a fire and stops my house burning down.. watch this space
I purchased this to replace one in the home of my mother. Fortunately it is an identical one so I had no problems removing the original and fixing this one to the same base plate. It is definitely loud enough for her to hear it and she’s very happy with it.

Once mounted when it time to replace or needs clearing just turn it and it comes and replace it with a new or after cleaning by holding and turning there only needs the mounting one i have found the alarm are inter changeable
Easy to test on test it Tuesday all you need in a stick to push the button and will beep 3 time to let you know it works

Alarm goes of at random time when there NO smoke
Sometime the built in battery has just died in months. But report to Fire angel for free replacement

I’ve never reviewed a smoke detector it works when you test it it’s well built and it’s what the fire brigade was installing for free so I’ve kept to this brand .. but unless the house catches fire I can’t give it a full review

Caravan replacement item, fits to old housing in 4 year old Caravan, but all bits provided to install, good value for money.
Excellent piece of kit to replace the rather ugly older models.
A small unobtrusive red light flashes intermitently to let you know the fire angel is doing its job.
The flat circular shape is pleasing to the eye but blends into most ceilings and becomes unnoticeable in time.
My previous smoke alarms were very often bleeping consuming battery power quickly hoping these 10yr battery smoke alarms will be less attention seeking! Easy to install.
I’ve had quite a few of these now and while some haven’t managed 10 years they are nicely designed. I haven’t had battery warnings as such, just odd nuisance beeps and you don’t want that in the middle of the night so they it goes in the bin and I get a new one! Even if one only manages 6 or 7 years it’s a lot better than fiddling around with replacing batteries every year, but some do last the course which is even better.
Now December, heard a faint beep one day and checked the alarm- totally dead, no alarm no light flashing to indicate it was working.
This product was purchased in April 2022 so definitely not 10year life and not worth buying. This is the 2nd unit of this type, the first was installed in 2019 by the local fire and rescue service. It lasted 3 years before beeping constantly during the night.
as far as I know it’s doing the job but won’t know for sure till something goes wrong, so far so good what more can I say
