Very happy with Fitbit’s Luxe tracker. I’ve gone through several models over the years and this is the nicest looking by far. I particularly like how much slimmer it is than the older models. Battery life not quite as good as my Inspire but still lasts about a week from a full charge. This one came with six months premium membership so that was a bonus too.
So far I don’t have anything to dislike it works very well for me as I only do the basics I don’t go running so don’t need the gps and changing the strap is a doddle to
I love the stylish design of this Fitbit and that I can track my exercise and sleep. However, it is frustrating that the watch face does not turn on automatically when I turn the watch around to look at it. I will try double tapping several times before it works. It is also hypersensitive so on a bumpy car ride it will add a lot of steps.
If this is your first tracker watch this is a great one to get started with, specially if you still want it to look good on your wrist. However, as soon as a better quality product is designed as small and stylish I will be moving on.
I am thrilled with this smart watch it is so nice and narrow and sits nice and flat on my small wrist. This is the best one I have had
I got this for Christmas and I’m so glad I did. A few days ago I was alerted by Fitbit that this watch had picked up a problem with my heart beat. I was having chest tightness and dizziness something I have had before but put down to stress. When I got these alerts it advised I get medical advice so I when to a&e where I was diagnosed as having atrial fibrillation. I would have ignored my symptoms if not for this and would have continued to not know I had a heart condition. Thank you Fitbi
If someone does not need fancy smart band, this is a perfect choice. Looks nice and have all of the necessary features. Battery lasts approximately 5 days as on the box.
Delivered on time inoerfect condition it is a gift for my daughter so I can’t comment on functionality as it’s not benn given ye
Updated to luxe from alta that was six years old. Still worked but wanted extra features. Very pleased with luxe. I’ve got very slim wrists so large faces look awful. The luxe looks just right and the short strap fits me perfectly.
Great little watch but boy does the battery drain quick! I find if I turn the auto-screen to off this helps. It takes an age to sync, often failing the 1st time but eventually it does it. I loved my HR charge, however this one is a clear runner up.
I love this tracker it’s absolutely great, perfect size and so many features, it connected to my iPhone 11 really quickly and easily, tracks my sleep and so many other things, great as was on offer too, upgraded from the inspire 2 as wanted the colour screen and I’m really happy with it, battery has lasted me 5 days and not taken it off since purchase as really comfy to wea
Really good at tracking steps and exercise. Not being wizz with technology I think I’m not using it to it’s full advantage. The Fitbit face has a great clock but when you move to other information faces the writing is very small and I have to put on glasses to read it which can be quite frustrating when I need an instant report.
Initially I bought a Fitbit Versa 3 as I liked the colour screen and wanted to track my exercise/sleep etc.
The versa is huge – I just couldn’t deal with how big it was – so I looked at the other Fitbits on offer. I wanted one that looked more like a watch, rather than a big screen, so I went with the Luxe.
The screen is a little box as wide as the face but not as tall – you can see the approximate are in the 1st photo. But it is big enough for me – might not be if you want to use your Fitbit to read notifications etc. but it’s plenty big enough for time/steps/heart rate etc.
It looks really stylish (the pictures do show it with a screen protector on so it looks sleeker than my pictures).
The strap doesn’t irritate my skin – an issue I have previously had with plastic/silicone straps.
It’s not heavy and seems fairly accurate so far.
It doesn’t have as many straps/clock faces as the versa but, to me, it looks so much better.
Very glad I sent back the versa and bought this version instead.
It fully depends on what you are looking for in a fitness tracker!
PROS:
+ Sleek in design
+ Comfortable
+ Useful app
+Can wear while swimming
+ Can receive text notifications and reply from a short list of pre-written options (These can be changed in the app and work with Messages, Instagram and Whatsapp)
CONS:
– Whilst it can be worn swimming it doesn’t seem 100% accurate in tracking the lengths
– Whilst it can be work swimming/ in the shower the lack of buttons mean stopping the swim activity or alarms is more difficult.
– The screen doesn’t go to the full height of the watch – this may not bother some but seems like a false representation
– Unlike other fitbits (e.g versa) you cannot log water and other info from your wrist this may be done in the app.
IN SUMMARY:
Truthfully, I will still use the fitbit until it becomes a bit more outdate/ I see another tracker that warrants an upgrade. But I would suggest if you are interested in buying that you use the feature on their website to compare trackers and decide which is best for you.
This was an upgrade from a cheap and cheerful tracker and was a good decision.
It is comfortable, nice and slimline/light to wear, and has all the functionality I wanted. It is far more accurate that the cheap one had been.
The premium option from Fitbit offers monthly or yearly subscriptions for various additional features which some might find useful, but is not essential to using this item. I have not signed up for that at all but am still very happy with what I got for the one-off buying price.
The latest fitbit luxe is ideal for those looking for a more classy type of watch. It is more basic as its not as much a smartwatch as other models. You can still recieve texts, emails etc as well as the other fitbit features. Whilst some report screen is small, i think its readable, its ok, looks smart and you can have interchangable bands. Its slimmer, less bulky than the charges – closer to the inspire. Its also the first fitbit with a colour screen. Ive ordered a bracelet case band for a more dressy look and use the silicone type one for everyday use. Its so comfortable and no skin strap reactions unlike previous fitbits ive tried. If your looking more for the basics and an aesthetic look then this is for you. If your looking for an all singing and dancing with gps etc then go for a smartwatch type!
