Typical fitbit great build quality, excellent tracking ability for health or sports.
I don’t like the plastic straps and it’s hard to get leather straps that fit properly
Bought as a set of two ‘his and hers’ which meant a saving. Our first fitbit/smart watch type fairly easy to set up initially after a bit of help initially from a daughter, works well with the App and makes you competitive as a couple!
This fitbit sense 2 is excellent has everything on it to help you move more and tracks everything it has on wrist calls texts amazon alexa fitness videos and is very accurate really good has lots to do and use as much as you want easy to set up and away you go
Is does everything you need at a price you can’t complain at, the battery is amazing I’ve had it on a week and it’s only just gone onto 60% battery. It puts Samsung watches to shame. Save your money and get one of these
Bought this to replace an inspire 2. Whilst it’s much bigger I’ve got used to it. Love the watch, does much more than the other one. I like I can keep the time showing and it’s clearer to read outside. Great fun finding different front screens. Tried the ecg which is great if you are concerned. The fitbits certainly keep me more active. Would highly recommend
Easy to set up and basically says what it does on the tin.
Upgraded from my versa to the sense 2 and the strap on the sense 2 is so much smaller than on the versa. But the spare strap inside which is bigger is too big, so I either have to wear it super tight on the small strap or incredibly loose on the big strap, so I’ll probably look at swapping those out. I’ve included a picture of the strap side by side with the versa so you can see what I mean.
The watch works brilliantly though as expected
I have always lived the Fitbit watches. This being their latest is very cool. It feel a lot lighter than any of the others I have had.
The battery life is great. I usually charge it while I am in the shower and in that time is usually has recharged more charge than I have used.
I takes about 14 days for the watch to get used to my biometrics. Especially for the workouts. The sleep tracking works instantly and is very accurate.
I did like the free 6 months Fitbit premium subscription. I think this is necessary for the Stress management, Readyness tracking and the ECG. You do also get a number of workout videos.
Like many others mentioned, strap gave me some allergy reaction.
This never happened before in my life.
Will order new leather strap.
Sense 2 has few very good features, like sleep and stress management. However, it has space to improve on apps and some bugs that can be fixed with a new release. In general I like it, but Sense 1 has a much better cost benefit.
I am fit 55. Great for exercise, sleep and vitals analysis
This is my first “smart” watch. In all honesty my main interest was in health tracking, but I also thought it would be good to understand if I’d use the other smart features like app integration etc. I read a lot of reviews and to be fair the reviews for the Sense 2 were only so-so but for me the deciding factors were battery life, health features and price – I only paid 179 for this from Amazon during black friday, and at that price it was a bargain.
First off battery life is great – I get the best part of a week on a single charge. And if I put it on the charger it’s full again in less than half an hour. As much as I like the look of the samsung galaxy watch, having to charge your watch every day seems useless to me, especially if you travel and need to carry yet another charger to do that.
Health stats are really good. Worth noting that you need to pay for fitbit premium to get some stuff like mental health stats (anxiety etc) but to be honest these don’t seem very useful anyway.
I didn’t expect to care much about phone integration but I find it really useful to get email and message notifications on the watch, so that’s a plus. Apparently you can set up google pay but I’ve never seen the point of that. Probably it’s more important (maybe) when your phone is in a bag rather than a pocket so fishing it out is more of a pain.
I personally don’t like the silicon straps as they catch on my skin when I’m moving, so I got a soft velcro one which is great – I don’t feel it at all even when sleeping. By the way they provide large and small straps in the box, which is good too as I have pathetic wrists that don’t work well with long straps.
All in all, I’m really pleased with this purchase and I’ve gone from being someone who only wears watches on special occasions to wearing this every day and I never feel that I’m wearing it. Only caveat is that I paid significantly less than the standard 269 price and I’m not sure I’d be so convinced at that price.
I upgraded to sense 2 from a 7 year old Charge 2 and I have to say I love it. It does everything I personally need from a fitness tracker. Battery life lasts 6 days most of the time but can be less if using your gps. Some of the advanced features with the free trial of Fitbit premium drain the battery. I did have one glitch where the battery drained over night but I removed sp02 tracking and daily readiness, and it then went back to normal at 6 days. The ECG function is good and gps worked well when I tested it on a 9 mile walk. You have to physically turn on gps in the exercise settings which is fine, otherwise it drains the battery a bit. Yes it takes a minute or so to kick in and you can tell once it’s on as the little gps arrow is red whilst kicking in and white once on. Steps are accurate, as are the floor counting. I can take calls on my watch (once I linked it to sense 2 calls on Bluetooth) which is great as you never miss a call if you’ve left your phone in another room etc Obviously you can’t make calls or texts from it as it’s not linked to a phone contract, but I find it useful to be able to take the calls and the sound on it was fine. I personally love the Fitbit app, and the way the calorie tracking and targets work. It is glitchy occasionally but what app isn’t? That really doesn’t faze me as the data is on your watch and always syncs again once the app is fixed as long as you don’t reboot your watch during that time. In 7 years of using Fitbit I have only ever had a handful of issues with the app. The ability to change clock faces is good but it would be nice if there were more that showed battery life as a lot of them don’t. Overall, a good tracker but if you are a massive fitness fanatic who wants a lot more of the advance features some have like fall detection, quicker gps, ability to make calls etc then you may want to opt for another brand of Watch. For me though, the sense 2 is perfect for what I need.
I really do like my sense 2. It does everything I need & a couple more I didn’t know it could. It’s very good at tracking my sleep which is of particular interest to me. If it had a battery that lasted more than 6/7 days I’d definitely give it 5* or even 6
I upgraded from the versa and this is great. Better battery and features
Really like this watch. Very function, looks slick & battery lasts for just over a week. Great for tracking your steps, heart rate and general exercise activities. Recommend for all users. The sleep tracking is great also. Quite durable, although I don’t wear in the shower. But otherwise serviced all requirements of a watch of this nature.
Doesn’t have Google assistance like some other smart watches so not the smart watch for you if you you want this feature which is disappointing otherwise good
As yet unable to take phone calls which is disappointing.Otherwise good in every respect.
Fitbit have improved this sense with a much needed button switch, it also seems to have more accurate GPS. Battery lasts well, particularly compared with some other brands that require daily charging.
The Fitbit sense 2 is a nice looking device and when I started to use it the battery lasted approx 6 days but when you start to add areas to monitor the battery life decrease to less than 12 hours. This is disappointing as the whole reason to have this device is to monitor various areas but the battery life decrease quite a bit.
I chose this mainly to track exercise, mood and wellbeing as experience a stress and anxiety. Found this very useful to help stick to a routine with my sleep and use the mindful sessions. I also used the mindfulness sessions to help with sleep. I recently had a medical procedure, which resulted in loss of sleep. Its helped me get back on track to recovery. The recent update for Google facilities makes it more worth the money even though the mental health and health benefits I recieved, far out weighed this. For some reason Ican’t set up Google pay I will look into this when I get the time. I havent used the tracking yet I’m sure I will find this useful. I bought this despite the poor reviews when it came out for the reasons above. The exercise sessions included in the premium package are great for quick sort workouts when I’m on a break at work. It’s a great asset to managing physical and mental wellbeing.
I’ve upgraded from the Sense 1 and where I enjoyed using that for all the reasons that make Fitbits great (sleep tracking, battery life, heart rate etc) it had it’s qwirks. Sense 2 takes all the positives from the 1 and fixed the niggles, whilst adding a load more fitness tracking like Stand Up Paddle boarding.
Battery Life – since unboxing, I actually didn’t charge it straight away as I wanted to use it ASAP. I wore it all day Friday and tracked my sleep overnight. I then ran a 12k trail run using the full screen brightness. This only ate 12% of battery. So a full marathon would be less than 50% battery with full features running. Since charging yesterday properly, I’d say it uses 12% battery per day including sleep, so the 6 day claim appears to be legit. I’ve seen others complain about charging, never had this, just make sure you use a decent USB charger with strong output and not some basic multi charger from a supermarket.
Running App – You can see from my pics how the fitness tracking looks whilst working out and finishing. It’s so clean and helps you with the basics. For example, I run too fast and always warns me when I am in my Peak heart rate (fine for someone my age but in time, I will have to start slowing my pace and reducing).
The Fitbit App also exports all my run data directly to Strava automatically when I finish a run.
Super comfortable – the actual changes to size are minor mm changes, but they are significant in comfort. For a large screen watch, it fits so flush to your wrist and just feels natural. The ECG sensors are now in the bezels of the glass, rather than the frame so not only does it look nicer, it’s far more comfortable to take readings.
Tidy Layout – I’ve seen reviewers talk about this and will agree. The layout is so clean and user friendly, even copying how Wear OS functions. Swipe down for settings, swipe up for notifications and messages, swipe left and right between tiles and apps. The tiles are completely customizable in the Fitbit app. I’ve got mine set up to show fitness and health data by swiping right and daily work stuff like calendar, weather and alarms to the left. So clean.
Sync with Nest Hub – I set up my Fitbit app to show my sleep and health dat on my Nest Hub 2nd Gen too, so that I can check my stats and data from there or ask voice assistant about my health data.
