Proud owner of the new XT5 and this lens is just perfect for my needs. Whether photographing birds in my backyard or the Orion Nebula. A bit front heavy on the tripod but otherwise can’t fault it so far. Read mixed reviews re focus but I’ve had no issues so far including birds in flight. Get one and have fun!

Also Kaufempfehlung.

With this lens you get really good 70-100 mm portraits.

I also took some shots at 300mm and had couple with 1.4x converter. I had the imagination that 420 mm would be enough. However, for so many shots I saw that I had the wrong interpretation and needed well over 500 mm without the converter because, agree or not, the converter does spoil some image quality at 300 mm.

Without the converter from 70-300mm, the lens takes amazing pictures but as I said, it wasn’t enough. The autofocus on my X-T3 was not great with the lens. Therefore I sent it back.

I am planning to get a 100-600 mm for my use but I am waiting for my refund for this lens. Nowadays, the returns are quick with amazon but the refunds takes ages. I will not buy it from here anymore but will goto Saturn where I can return f2f if needed and get a refund immediately.

Qualit dell’immagine abbastanza buona in condizioni normali.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOrdered from Japan. Invoice was in japannese. The lens came very quickly i was surprised you could ship stuff from across the world in less than 2 weeks. I have not tested it yet. But it seems very nice to hold. zoom ring is a little stiff but that is good as it prevents creep and will probably get less stiff with time.

Imballo perfetto.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersCompattezza, stabilizzazione fenomenale, peso, distanza di messa a fuoco, tropicalizzazione, prezzo, possibilit di utilizzare i moltiplicatori di focale.

Lente ben concepita.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI’ve had this lens on my XT3 for a month now and I have been very impressed with how light it is to carry around, how very sharp the pictures are and how much better it is than the xf 55-200. Even on overcast days the image stabilisation helps me take great photos across its full range, hand held. For the money it represents excellent value imo.

    Fantastic lens
