This is amazing, work very well heat up in seconds and leave my hair soft and silky.
I do like the shape of this curling wand, it’s a little unusual (it is tapered) and it works really well at creating natural looking curls. My hair is around shoulder length and the curl wand is good but as with most curlers it is a little time consuming. However I have found that I don’t have to go back over sections of hair which obviously saves time in the long run. I tend to hold the hair in place on the curler for around 8 seconds this seems to work well for my hair. You may find your hair doesn’t need as long. All in all I’m happy with how long the curls last!
You do get a few extras in the set like a heat resistant mat and a hair brush. It is corded but this doesn’t have too much of an impact while I’m using the curl wand.
Overall I do think because it is a set it would make a lovely gift. As with any curler it can be a bit of trial and error to get the desired curl but it wasn’t too difficult with this product. It is easy to use and works well. It is a premium curler but you do get good results. I’m happy with it!
The GHD wand is so quick and easy to curl your hair with. It heats up in just a few seconds, hair only needs to be held around the wand for around 5-8 seconds to get them to hold. The barrel is a slightly unusual shape compared to others, it tapers but is flatter at the bottom (similar to a toothpaste tube) rather than conical. The curls come out nice and last a good 48hours. The wand comes with a silicone heat resistant mat to sit them on, a glove to protect your fingers and a bristle brush in the set. An auto off feature will turn them off 30 mins after no use if you forget to turn them off.
Wifes review – These are okay they are light weight and was easy to use, comes with a brush, glove and heat mat. I would recommend using the glove as I did burn my finger on my first use. They leave a nice curl but because I have long thick hair took a while to do the whole head and I have other curlers that can do it quicker and would use them more over this wand.

The curling wand, like most other curling devices I have used, takes a little while to get used to and understand the best practice for the style I like to go for. I prefer loose waves so I have been using more of the thicker part of the wand (to give larger curls), but testing out the end of the wand does produce tighter curls as expected. It really doesn’t take long to heat up and the results are fantastic. The brush has soft bristles and feels great going through my hair. The mat is perfect for placing any heated hair devices on so it’s kept out permanently. Really happy overall and it’s another win from me for GHD!
I was overjoyed when I tried the ghd Creative Curl Wand because I’ve always had trouble getting those lovely, bouncy curls. My hair has never looked better thanks to this game-changing hair curler.
The results are spectacular, and the wand itself is really simple to use. The ghd Creative Curl Wand is made to be gentle on your hair while yet giving you the lovely curls you’ve always desired, which allayed my fears that I might burn or otherwise harm my hair.
I adore the curls’ enduring quality as well. My hair still looks fantastic even after a full day at work. And with this wand, touching it up is simple if I need to.
But, getting the hang of using the wand correctly does require some practise. I initially had some difficulty, particularly while attempting to curl the back of my head. Yet I was able to do it correctly with a little perseverance and training.
The wand may get fairly hot, so you need to be careful not to burn yourself, which is really my only genuine problem about it. Although the provided heat-protective glove did help, I still occasionally burned my fingertips. Thus, I would suggest utilising it carefully and slowly.
Really good premium product from GHD, item feels very well made and robust. Although I haven’t used it on my self. I have had good feed back from others.
I’ve been using this GHD wand for a few weeks now and absolutely love it!
I like that it has a tapered barrel which allows me to great different sized curls or waves and have more control over my styling. It heats up fast and stays consistent making it even easier to style my hair and quickly create the most perfect glossy curls which last all day.
I also like that it comes with a heat proof bag for storing when not in use, or would also be great to use when travelling to project it.
I would highly recommend this curler if you’re looking for a professional styler that gives salon results quickly at home.
Fantastic curl wand, requires some practice to use efficiently. It doesn’t burn the hair and the curls are long-lasting, which is fab. It may be difficult to make curls at the back of my head (at least it was very difficult for me). When I started using it I have burned my fingers, despite wearing the included heat protective glove, also burned my forehead once.. So my advice – be careful when using it. Its a professional grade product, and I would highly recommend it.

My hair is straight, and not many appliances create a curl that lasts until this! I find it easy to use, from straight to beachy curls in around 10 minutes. End result looks glossy and shiny too. I’ve received compliments each time. The curls are beautiful and can either be left tight or falls nicely to make soft waves. Used the great supplied brush to soften the curls to create a romantic look. The heat protection glove is a big help. Also love the safety feature of the button for switching on and off so you don’t accidentally keep pushing the button and the wand only needs to be on each section for around 5 seconds, so I feel like it’s not causing damage. I love it!
A truly good curler set. Nicely packaged making it a good unboxing experience for yourself or as a good gift for another.

This is a fantastic hair curler. The barrel is large and creates lovely large waves, and they last all day. Easy to work with and it heats up really quickly.
As always GHD brand provides us with a really good hair-curling wand. It looks really good and stylish. And most importantly it is very light which makes this wand even better for curling your hair. As it is a gift set it comes with some additions such as a brush and a silicone mat. In addition to a glove and a want itself. As well it has a quite long cord around 2.7 meters. So it will be more then enough to use at home or even professionally.
Using it is quite easy as it is very simple. It just has one button. Once you turn it on it heats up almost instantly to 185 C. It takes a bit of time to cool down but whats why the silicone mat is provided.
It curls hair without any issues, and most importantly the curls are really lasting for a decent amount of time. However to achieve what you will need a bit of practice.

The curl wand is easy to use and does a great job of curling long hair. I have shoulder length hair but it’s very thin, I wouldn’t recommend it for people with my type of hair as it gets too hot. However, I wouldn’t say these are designed for my hair type. They are best suited to medium to thick long hair, my niece is a happy recipient of these and loves the volume and wave she gets.
This curling wand by the brand GHD is very easy to use, the on/off button is conveniently located at the top of the wand which lights up to indicate when it’s switched on and ready to go, there is only one heat setting and it heats up instantly and gets pretty hot, the wand took around 20 mins to cool down after using.
The curling wand is suitable for medium or longer length hair, personally i would not use it on short hair but this is just a personal preference. It does do a good job of curling and gives good volumization, i found it best to take small sections and go from there, a squirt of hairspray after-wards and voila, your good to go. It comes complete with a heat safety mat, oval shaped brush and protective glove.
The box is sleek and attractive and would make for easy wrapping if giving as a gift.

Came with a great hair brush , i would recommend not combing hair too harshly as this brush can scratch your head . But if you brush gently, it is amazing.
The curler becomes hot very fast, it even has beeping sound , when you switch it on and when it is ready to curl your hair .
It is so easy to work with , you can choose how big curls you want if you want bigger , do the curls at the beginning , if you want smaller do it at the end of the curler.

I’d been looking at this curl wand for a while so was looking forward to trying it. The wand heats up very quickly, it is lightweight to hold and easy to use. Does take a bit of practice, the first time I used I did burn the tip of my finger as the glove supplied only covers 3. Does get easier though the more you use.
It is very easy to wrap pieces of hair around no matter which section you are doing. This is the best curl device I have tried for doing the back of my hair. You really only need to hold for a few seconds and it gives a great curl or wave depending on which part of the wand you use. My hair looked fantastic styled with this and the waves lasted all day without dropping out. Really impressive wand. I have tried several different devices but this wand gives the nicest strongest curls. I highly recommend. It is so quick to style your whole head of hair
Comes with a heat glove and brush. The brush is fantastic for brushing out any tangles. Also includes a heat mat for resting the wand on when in use
I have always been disappointed with appliances that claim they can create lovely bouncy curls within minutes, then my hair gets tangled up or after 5 minutes the curls have completely dropped out.
But not no more!
Literally within minutes of pressing the power button on, the wand was hot and ready to tackle my vast amount of thin, freshly washed hair.
Following the instructions supplied, I sectioned off a part of my hair and proceeded to wrap it around the tappered nozzle.
After a few seconds I released my hair and a lovely lock of curly hair fell down onto my shoulder.
Now granted, I am the first to admit I am no expert and I’ll definitely need more practice to be confident in attempting my whole head. But aleast this curler has given me some hope.
Beware though, the tapered nozzle does get extremely hot, which is probably why it comes with a handy silicone mat to place the product on. So you do have to leave it to cool down before packing it away.
Comes with a nicely branded paddle brush so you can gently soften the curls if you so wish.

These come in a sturdy and spacious box and pleasingly with a heat-safety mat. Ideas for hair styling would have really completed this set which also arrived with an oval-head brush and a three-fingered glove to protect the hand.
The lead is brilliantly long, it heats up super quickly and the temperature has just the one heat setting. It is easy to turn on/off by a central button and it does take some time to cool down.
This is only appropriate for long hair and my daughter commented how much quicker this new product is compared with her old curling wand. It gives her hair more volume and waves curly hair. I was disappointed that I found this inappropriate for my shorter hair even with the tapered barrel. The heat was searing and just too tricky to wind round the hot barrel when there is no obvious hair grip or purchase.
