I had an old Skagen smart watch and was never very impressed with the android watch OS. The pixel watch is lightyears ahead! Very responsive, comfortable and useful. I find the battery lasts about a day and a half. Looks cool too… Very happy
Very comfortable, classy and does everything I need, love it!
The set up was fast and easy. However I noticed in the first few hours of use it counts false steps. I will update this the more I use it.
I am very impressed with this watch. It’s a great bit of kit. Easy to set up. It looks great, does all the things I want it to. Charging regularly (every 48 hours) is not an issue as it is quick to charge. I charge it while I am sitting, so don’t miss out on too many steps! Just wish the battery indicator was green until it got to 10%, rather than red all the time but only a very minor thing, definitely not a big issue. Look forward to updates just because it will be interesting to see how it develops!
I’m very happy with this watch. the only issue I have is that the size of the (active) screen is rather small at 30mm – and too small for my fingers.
I was almost put off by reviews but thought I’d give it a try. So glad I did. Battery lasts fine, better than my wife’s apple watch. Great for picking up calls and notifications, playing music from Spotify, tracking exercise, golf. Detail on the sleep info is a real bonus as well. Does everything i need from it and does it well. Seen some complaints about the screen size but I think the screen is just right and very easy to use. No complaints at all from me
Excellent watch especially if you have a Google Pixal phone, battery recharge is a daily ordeal but it’s done in the time it take to have a shower , SPo2 sensor will be activated in next update , uses Fitbit software , vary accurate
very well made and better style then the box shaped apple watch i used to wea
Google have made a good job of this. Easy set up, comfortable to wear, including sleeping. The best of Google and Fitbit is all there on your wrist. I like it a lot.
Absolutely love the watch, fits really well. Not bulky at all when on the wrist
Works best with pixel phones almost pronto
My only downside is the fact you cannot access 6 months fit bit (they only allow a 3 month lmtd supply. Both Google & fitbit got blame each other so disappointed
The “LTE” definitely does not work without your phone keeps saying no internet access so a bit useless for paying extra. It does surprisingly let you use Google wallet?? But no calls in or out
I do love the comfort &look of watch so will keep it &hopefully Google should sort this LTE out pronto or they should give you that extra back for this
Pros:
– Nice feature set
– Good combo of smartwatch functions and fitness
– Comfortable wristband
– Stable bluetooth
Cons:
– Battery life; I can squeeze out ~48 hours if I turn off a bunch of stuff
– Calorie calculation is a bit high, probably fixed in a future software update
Been using the LTE version for a week. Very easy to set up.
Fastest wear os watch I’ve ever used, calling and messaging on it is great, great watch faces and looks amazing! Google assistant is fast and snappy. Lots of tiles on wear os 3.5 too. Safety features are cool too and love the watch strap options. Bitmoji watch faces and Google photos watch faces are also fun. Finally wear os phone app has been massively updated.
Disappointed with battery life hopefully that improves and to be honest has gotten better over the week as I’ve made tweaks.
Also don’t like Google maps doesn’t have public transport directions and won’t work unless connected to phone via Bluetooth. On Wear OS 2 swipe left would bring up Google assistant and other useful features similar to at a glance but it’s bizarrely been removed hope they bring it back. Also missing is the ability to write/type using handwriting, needs to be brought back.
Apps are generally better on Wear OS 3.5 but missing Uber and Google news from wear os 2.0 hopefully they come soon in future updates.
It’s a great 1st attempt. I like it a lot, looks good great built quality. Battery life it’s OK. It’s been 19h now and it’s at 27%. Charge it before bed and it’s set for a night tracking and next day. Don’t get all the bashing it’s only 24hours battery so it’s bad. All Apple Watches last the same and it’s fine?!
It’s a good mix of Fitbit functionality plus smarwatch functions on top Fitbit lacks. Should be 50-100 cheaper tho
