This is my first green screen always wanted one took my time checking other reviews this one had good ones so I proceed and what can I say it paid off happy days.
I use this for what everyone uses these for: a green screen for streaming.
I think the only thing relevant to this product itself is that it is not wrinkle-free, but also didn’t arrive so severely wrinkled as to be useless or something. The material itself is a fairly thin sateen-like fabric. One side feels a bit softer and is a little bit less shiny than the other.
The key to making a green screen actually work is lighting– and this isn’t the green screen’s fault. If you can get it lit fairly brightly, and evenly, even minor wrinkles won’t matter, and it will perform a lot better. It also means you can select a narrower colour range to chromakey, meaning less fuzziness and fewer unintended punch-throughs. I only mention this stuff so you don’t get mad at the screen itself.
The included clips, though I haven’t used them, are of decent quality, similar to any of the hand-clips that look like this.
The box arrived and I was rather concerned as it felt rather heavy. I was pretty sure I was not going to like it. Sure it would be a bother to set up.. Once out of the box I could not believe how simple it was to put up and take down. So much so we kept putting it up and taking it down repeatedly. It is absolutely genius! So well designed. We will make a space to store this. It works so efficiently. It is worth the heavy weight and it’s self contained case protects everything when in storage. It really is brilliant. We were all so impressed. Nice smooth screen every time.
It arrived quickly and well packaged. The size is huge, very heavy and not portable for carrying but this is a great quality screen. Pops up and down very easily and stays in any position as you pull it up. All materials are of excellent quality. it’s always straight, no wrinkles and no need for ironing.
Would highly recommend it to anyone.
Prior to having this compact backdrop, I used to struggle to set up two tripods and a standard backdrop as it takes a lot of space, time, and hassle. This backdrop has just sorted all of my issues, making it super easy and smooth to just set up or collapse a background. It is very easy to set up and doesn’t take much time. Since my needs for a backdrop is in a single location, I ended up placing this against a wall and I just expand it whenever needed. The backdrop is wide enough with 1.5m in width and 1.8m in length, making it suitable for usage while seated or standing. Overall a must have for streamers, studio photographer, or people wanting to customise their backgrounds.
This a a superb well made robust piece of kit. I have used mainly as a backdrop to virtual meetings (Zoom, Teams) where drop in backgrounds look very realistic and much better. Also superb for picture taking such as portraits allowing you to easily drop in backgrounds. Recommended
However, it’s not all ideal – the two problems I have with it are firstly when it’s lifted all the way up, it can easily topple over especially if for example you intend to use it outdoors, or if it gets knocked into. There’s a couple of very small weights inside the bottom of the greenscreen case, but honestly I’d highliy recommend getting a few more to add more weight at the bottom to make it stable. So, again, great indoors but not great outdoors! So it lost a star for the slight lack of sturdiness!
The other annoyance is the height, I wish it was a little taller, it’s only 71 inches tall, so just under 6 feet, and I’m 6 feet tall myself, so it isn’t suitable for a shot of me standing up. If your subject is shorter you will get away with it, and it won’t be a problem for any sort of sitting shot, but it would be nice if it was a few inches taller. You could stand it up on top of something to get the height (sacrificing some of the bottom of frame instead), but again with how easily it can fall I wouldn’t recommend that unless you secure it well!
So all in all, it’s good if it fits your specific use case, it’s just not as useful for certain types of shoots!
This screen comes with a sturdy aluminium carry case which has foldable feet and a carrying handle for easy transport. It sets up in a few seconds – you just twist the feet, open the catches and then pull up on the handle on top of the screen. It feels sturdy and stays in place well. It is very tall – I am 6 foot 5 or so and the top of the screen is level with the top of my head when I am standing.
The even colour is very easy to chroma out of your video feed. I found that it works so much better than my previous soft screen which was subject to creases, folds and therefore shadows.
The only slight issue I have is that the orientation of the screen is almost 90 degrees out. With most video formats being landscape I find that you need this screen very close to the back of your head to avoid the edges being in frame of my webcam or laptop camera. Not a problem with a non wide angle camera but for streaming these will be very uncommon.
So overall I am impressed with this screen and highly recommend it. It is well designed, made of top quality materials and does its job very well indeed.
This green screen arrives in a large, purely practical, cardboard box. Inside, the screen is reasonably well protected, and there is also a sheet of instructions.
The case consists of the case itself with two large ‘feet’ on the bottom and a carry handle on the top. The feet are in-line with the case for carrying, but when you want to put the screen up, you can twist them 90 to create a base to hold the screen up steadily. Each of the feet have four rubber pads (one in each corner) to provide extra grip and stop them from marking the surface they are placed on.
The case measures 164.3cm long by 11.9cm wide and is 12.5cm tall (including feet and carrying handle). The two feet are 43.3cm long, so to set up the screen you need floor space of 164.3cm by 43.3cm. The whole thing weighs about 10.5kg (23lbs), which given its size and shape makes it a little awkward to handle. Thankfully the carry handle does a great job and is comfortable to use.
To erect the screen, there are two latches holding the case shut. Once you unlatch them and fold the lid back, there is just a simple handle in the middle of the screen that you pull up on to raise the screen, or push down on to lower it. The screen auto locks in place so there is nothing more complicated than simply raising and lowering it in order to set it up or put it away.
When the screen is raised the material is held taut, and the tension on it was pretty consistent throughout its surface, just dropping off a little at the edges, but only fractionally and definitely not enough to be any kind of issue.
When fully raised the green screen is 7.5cm off the ground at its lowest point and 193.5cm off the ground at its highest. It is 149.7cm wide.
It’s important to be aware of these measurements so as to know whether it will suit your needs. This will depend very much on what you want to use it for, the field of view of your camera, where you want it positioned, etc. For example, in the description one of the photos used suggests you could fit a whole family on a couch in front of it, but this is not the case. I would suggest this screen is most suited to people wanting to take photos or video of a single people. For example it would be perfect to use as a backdrop behind a person sat in front of the camera who’s making vlogging or gaming videos for YouTube or Twitch.
In conclusion, I really liked this green screen. It is both well made, and very easy to use. Whilst more expensive than buying green screen fabric, some stands and clips, the ability to set it up and take it down within seconds, and to have a green screen that you know will be constantly taut and won’t get creased when put away, is not only convenient, but saves so much time and hassle, that the extra expense is well worth it. (I have lost count of the number of hours I have lost ironing out green screen creases and setting them up every time I have needed to use one, which could have been better spent on actually taking photos or making video content.)

This is a super green screen for your Zoom calls and any type of live streaming you do. The screen is really simple to put up and there is no sliding down of the screen once up. The only small gripe I have is that with my laptop camera, the screen is a bit narrow and therefore shows anything at the side of the screen. This is easily over come using OBS studio, but would have preferred the screen just a tad wider. The green screen area is 1500 x 1800 mm (59.06 x 70.87 inch) and weighs in at 10.37 kg. The screen is housed in a very well made case and can be stored under a sofa or bed when not in use. The item is best used away from windows or a strong light source’s as this makes the cross members on the back visible. This is a great addition to anyone who live streams and has high quality materials used throughout, therefore it’s 4* from me folks.
Contained within a sturdy case that is fastened by two clips the case can be opened in a moment and the screen easily erected, clipping into place and standing firm. Two feet fixed to the case can be turned 90 degrees to give stability. It is worth mentioning that the screen is a good weight so you will need transport to move it around – it is not something that you would want to carry over a distance. But that is not a criticism, rather it is evidence of the good, solid construction.
In use, you really want to have good strong studio lights to get the best effect and a camera that can be zoomed in so that the frame fits within the bounds of the screen. Once you have it set up correctly you get a great studio-quality green screen ready to key in whatever background you desire.
When I raised this in my home studio I realised that I had to draw it close to completely cover my usual background so you may want to either zoom in with your camera or just be aware of how you position in.
It is, and will remain, wrinkle free – which is a distinct advantage. I would like to see the screen to be a bit thicker, just to ensure there is no light leakage from the rear and at this price point I do not think it is unreasonable to expect that.
In regard to price… there are a lot of screens that are much cheaper but few that are self-contained, self-erecting with this kind of portable stability. Yes, a tad expensive, 129.99 at the time of reviewing, but that is really the only complaint that I have – and for that reason it confirms my 4-star review.
Having said all of that I can still say that I thoroughly recommend this screen – good quality product that can be easily packed away when not in use and then reassembled in a couple of minutes when needed.
My wife has been doing more and more presentations for work over the last couple of years, to an increasingly large audience, often from home. Inevitably we end up with the clutter of real life sometimes showing in the background and I wanted to find a way to make her look more professional. I’ve tried a couple of different green screen solutions and this one is by far the best.
The case looks really professional and is easy to move about. Setting it up takes seconds with the flip out feet and the clever built-in mechanism to support the screen. It keeps the fabric tight enough that wrinkles aren’t an issue (unlike some other solutions I tried first) and it works perfectly to allow Zoom and OBS to replace the background with something more professional looking.
You do have to be careful not to have any bright lights behind the screen as they can start to show through the fabric, but I don’t really think that’s a failing of the product. Just something to take into account when you’re positioning it.
Honestly can’t fault it, it’s fantastic and so much better than the others I tried before.
A pet hate of mine are poorly blurred backgrounds and false backgrounds on Zoom/Teams calls. They look terrible and when they don’t work properly, they are just plain distracting. And let’s face it, they don’t work properly 99% of the time.
However, they do with this green screen! I was actually staggered by the results – perfect, with no stray green fringe, either.
Things I really like:
* It’s very safe – the sliding feet make make it very sturdy
* The pull up mechanism is fab – no polls or struts to mess about with – you just pull to the height you want and it stays there
* Takes seconds to set up and put down
* The results are excellent – it makes false backgrounds indistinguishable from the real thing (if you close the right sort of background)
* It’s a perfect size for all sorts of webcam or real camera use in an office or spare room
* The case is sturdy and offers lots of protection, good handle too
* For what you get – it’s fantastic value
Things to note:
* It is long and pretty heavy – make sure it will fit in your room
* It needs to be well lit. If it gets dark the effectiveness of your false background will be compromised – I have two video lights so not an issue for me, with just one light you might struggle though
* You need to be able to store it. I stood it upright on a hard floor (instructions say not to) and it slipped and crashed to the floor. That’s how I know how sturdy the case is! I now have it in a wardrobe on carpet with a little bit of a clip to hold it in place – it’s safe there and doesn’t take up much space at all
The ‘things to note’ above are not what I consider faults, just things to be aware of. I’ll update with some pictures when I have some time. I’ve not tested it with my video editing software yet, which is something else I need to do.
I love the pop-up mechanism, and with Zoom & Teams, it’s brilliant! Easily five stars.
I do a lot of photography and have a studio setup with multiple lights and use backdrops which have to be fixed over a horizontal pole between two stands. Erection require extending and tightening the stands and the cross pole and then a fight with clips to fasten the backdrop sheets, reversing the procedure at the end to put away in various bags. This stand you just unclip the box and pull it up FANTASTIC ! To put away just push the screen down. This Background stand has made life much easier, great to take with me to shoots and the time it saves in setup is great.
I needed something transportable, quick to set up and good quality. This product specifications caught my attention.
It’s well packaged and the screen comes built inside a large aluminium alloy metal case. The case is dark grey, fluted and oozes high quality of workmanship and has two feet stands that easily twist out.
I only need to unlock two metal buckles to open up the lid which reveals the inbuilt green screen. The green screen is mounted on a riser frame with hydraulic lift and stops at any height above a meter or so when you let go. I easily pull it up to maximum height in seconds and can bring it back down to zero in seconds too. This method a genius idea and saves me alot of time setting it up and taking it down. I can now take this green screen with me and be up and running in seconds. The green screen is made from high quality fabric material and is flat and perfect for the job. Being retractable also helps reduceis dust and accidental tears or rips.
The riser mechanical action is smooth, quiet, accurate and good quality.
The makers of this product did a very good job. I still can’t believe how easy and fast it is to set up and to take down.
This motivates me to use it more and the unit is not too heavy for what it is. The case is very strong and fully protects the green screen inside. This product represents excellent value for money.
A background screen withstand is all you will need to have the perfect background you want.
Compared to old hanging sheets, this extendable green screen is so much better and would not change it for anything. Easy to extend and even easier to pack it back up. When pulled out it stays perfectly in place and the canvas is every time smooth and flat and you won’t be surprised by unwanted creases which would make your background look bad.
Roll of green background is packed up in the strong and durable aluminium case and is well protected from bumps, damages, liquids and similar.
While fully extended, rotatable legs will fully support and stabilise the green screen so it stays in place no matter what.
Overall, great, high quality and durable green screen which is portable, and super simple to use in only seconds. No more clips, folding of screen or assembly.

This green Collapsible screen is a brilliant product it came well packaged. It is easy to use very practical. Comes in a carry case. Lots of options for use . Perfect for Web calls YouTube videos. And many more a very practical product I would recommend very much .
Everything you need to put up a green wall is in the metal tube case, no sticks to join and no tripod to put up, less risk of trip hazard. The flip out feet does a good job at keeping the stand standing up, from the back it can take on almost 40 degree before tipping over and from the front it can take 20 degree to loose balance.
To put up the green screen all you need to do is open the case and pull up the handle bar. It will stay up until you pull the handle back down past the half way mark and it will stay.
The case measure at 168cm, too long to sit across the back seats of a normal car. The green material is thick and strong, no winkle or folds in sight. Perfect for VR headset streaming
For anyone using standard Vlogging equipment, you’ll find this a perfect size.
The unit is heavy and extends to cover a large enough area behind you, and if you are serious about your equipment, then you’ll have a good camera that will keep you in frame as well as a good mic.
This is perfect for my set up, my Vlog area is small anyway and works a treat, although large it’s just perfect that it folds away and I can stow it until next used, especially good for those on the go.
If you are a VR enthusiast then you may want to invest in something larger or even a green screen pop up tent, I don’t recommend this for VR, although in a pinch, it might work.
The quality of the materials used are perfect and the whole unit is robust and well made. The base is sufficiently heavy and has two feet that keep it firmly in place.
I completely recommend.
This unit is solid and very stable. Easy to pull into place and to push down again, it’s about as convenient as it gets – only takes moments to get it ready and then put it away after use.
But the real test is how well it can be keyed out and you should watch my video for a real example of that.
Would I like it to be wider? Yes, that would be useful to me in some situations. But it’s wide enough for about 99.999% of everything I’ll ever do – just takes an extra moment or two to set up the camera in the right position.

I find this kit is easy to assemble, feels durable, and sturdy. Once this is set up, you can actually start doing some photoshoots or start your live stream. I used this at home to do some photo shoots and it’s excellent. What I really about this is that it is very easy to assemble and disassemble at the same time.

This is an impressive piece of equipment ideal for those recording video for the internet or for video calls. It arrives as a rather large aluminium case wih nice locking mechanisms and feels quality. To operate you simple turn out the feet on it, open the case and lift the screen, thas it!
The screen itself is a solid material that is kept perfectly flat by the mechanism. Its very easy (much easier than cloth backdrops) to light evenly and therefore prodvides a better finish when compositing in video. When fully extended its a little short for standing in front of it for me but it would be ideal for sat down presentations or filming. If you use a green screen regularly then this would be a good investment.
This portable pop-up expandable/collapsible Green Screen Background is fantastic quality. It arrived extremely well packaged with 4 strong foam surrounds (2 for the ends and 2 for the middle), covered with a plastic sheath and in a strong cardboard box.
Before I mention the case and stand, just wanted to top line summarise the actual GREEN Screen – it is a good thickness and perfectly uniform green across the complete screen – top marks for that
The case is feels impressively strong and secured by two latches. The handle is well made, strong and perfectly centered which aids in easy carrying about. The feet are already attached to the bottom of the case and just swivel out to provide a good base.
When you open the case, there is a small handle in the middle, you can’t miss it, and you simply lift the bar using the handle and it very easily and smoothly rises. Once raised just past over half way, I could let go and the screen will stay in place.
At 129.99, at the time of review, this is a definite 5 imho – extremely well made, strong case, easy to carry around, great smooth action stand and most of all the screen is uniformly GREEN across the whole screen.
This portable green screen is almost perfect.

Portability (if you ignore the fact that it is HEAVY!) is spot on.
Unfortunately with webcam manufacturers’ obsession with making their lenses ever wider, the only negative point with this screen is that it is just not quite wide enough. With my Logitech StreamCam or my laptop’s built in camera and the screen positioned right at the back of my desk chair you can still see a bit of ‘real life’ at the side of the screen. This is fine if your camera has a zoom function or if you use OBS studio or something as you can crop or zoom the real world out, but another foot or so of width and this screen would be absolutely perfect.
As it is, the package is very very good and I feel a bit bad knocking a star of the rating for the width, but that really is the only negative.
The screen is packaged in a case that has built in swivvel out feet. You pop the case on the floor, spin the feet to right angles, open the lid via the two latches, then pull the screen up to the desired height by the handle on top. It really couldn’t be easier. The screen stays up until you add a bit of downwards pressure on the top handle and push the screen back into the case (it rolls back onto the roller perfectly), close the lid, spin the feet and carry away.
= What is a green screen for? =
For those who don’t know (are there any these days) green screens (or blue screens) allow you to digitally replace the screen with a different image or video in video production or video calls such as Zoom, Teams, Skype etc.
What an excellent quality and well designed background screen this Chroma Key screen is. It comes in a stylish metal case with sturdy feet that are on the base that swivel out to give a great stability when the screen is fully extended. What’s impressive is the ease of lifting the screen whilst it is attached to the case, it simply glides up and down due to the air shock mechanism at the back, making it very easy and quick to use. It’s a great size at 59″ wide and 71″ tall it’s perfect for vlogging, interviews or reviewing and it’s not too heavy so could easily be put in the car and used anywhere, though don’t use in windy conditions outside or leave the screen out in direct sunlight as it could damage it. Please see my photos, I’m very happy to recommend this excellent quality background screen to you too.
There are so many green screens available on the market and can heavily differ in price, size and methods of set-up; so have a look around to make sure you are choosing one that meets your needs and in-line with your budget.
This green screen is more in the premium range compared to others, being priced at 129.99 at the time of review, however, you are paying for quality and convenience.
First of all, the build quality of the housing seems to be fairly robust so should help protect the mechanisms inside during transportation.
Secondly, the amount of time to get this green screen set-up is absolutely minimal, for example, when the screens base is in position, it literally takes 10 seconds to unlatch the clips, flip the lid and pulling the screen all the way up; additionally, it’s just as quick and easy to collapse the screen down.
The ease of storing this, entirely depends on your living space as it measures in around 1.64m in length (very long!) and is 12cm in height when fully collapsed, so some may be able to slide it under their sofa or bed depending on the height clearance.
The capability of getting good results with this screen is high as there are no creases on the screen, though you do need to make sure there are no shadows spilling on the screen for the best Chroma key results.
