Bought these a while ago now for the kids and dog to play with. Thayer have lasted ages and must be good quality as my dog doesn’t rip them up in minutes.
My dogs are always chewing through crappy made crappy bought balls but these are excellent-they bounce lots-very versatile and bright so can be found more easily in the dark. Great value for money. Would highly recommend!!
My Border collie can make one of these last for three to four weeks. My next door neighbours Labrador can destroy one of these in three to four minutes. So brilliant or awful depending on the dog. My dog doesn’t play tennis, but loves these balls.
I play often on a poor quality tarmac tennis court with overgrown areas just over the fence, so if a ball goes over, it’s gone. Despite the toll the hard surface takes on them, these have lasted quite well so they’re good for the money…
These are certainly good tennis balls for beginners and intermediates. If necessary, you’ll have to ask an advanced player (not me) for their own view on suitability. The balls are well packaged in airtight pressurised tubes of 4 balls, and are accessed by removing a ring-pull metal lid. The balls bounce well and fly well. They’ve lasted well so far (couple of months) and I see no reason for them not to durable and reasonably long-lived. Definitely good value for top-brand tennis balls.
These are an amazing green colour. With fur on them and perfect for doing tennis. Seem nice and durable and excellent for imparting spin and performing drop shots. They could also be used to play with a dog.
I bu these for my dog they last so much longer than the ones sold for dogs just wish he wouldn’t bounce them into the river then won’t go and get them just aswell there’s quite a few!!
Today I used this tennis ball to play cricket .
It was excellent quality and lightweight .
I used electric tape on the ball and result was amazing.
We could hit long sixes.
Forget CA ball.
Try this ball
You will never regret.
At first I wasn’t sure if these would survive the oven. Once they were chopped, seasoned and mixed in with the other ingredients they were pure bliss. Even Murray smiled when sampling these fine delights. They are great and do the job.
Been using the same balls for matches for while. With practice sessions I have clocked up probably 6 hours play with same 6 balls. No sign of serious wear and still very playable. The right bounce, not too much and not too little. Right for an intermediate player.
Bought these balls for our terriers – they came in 3 canisters with 4 balls in each – the balls are good quality and lasted a while they are not the usual cheaper quality balls – delivery was fast and I will order again .
I am beginner that started playing 2 3 times a week and i bought a lot of balls. These ones so far are behaving the best. They dont get fluffy, and feels nice to hit. 12 balls for 10.99 its impossible to beat ! I will get them agai
Really happy with these, they pop open with a silver pull seal which is nice. I no pro tennis player but these feel good to use and much cheaper than some others I looked at.
Very good value I like them because:
1) the cheapest branded tennis balls I can find
2) good pop straight out of can
3) great indoors less hard wearing on outdoors courts but I’m fine with that
I’ll keep buying and I’m a major
Tennis playe
I play tennis twice a week in all weathers and through out the year on a hard surface and these balls are great. We replace the balls every month and so far have never had a ‘bad’ ball and we’ve been playing for the last 3 years. Personally some of the comments I have read about these I can only assume they do not use them as tennis balls. I strongly recommend these if you are going to use them for tennis
Whats not to like, you chuck them the Dog ( A Chocolate Lab) brings them back, for wear and tear and losses three tubes lasts about a year. I hope you were not expecting a review on how the balls fair on a Tennis court !
We actually bought them for the dog!! Really good quality, im guessing they’d be great for tennis too!!
I buy these for my springer as she will shred and chew others that are made for dogs. Only need to restock for loss rather than wear and tear. Excellent price, quick delivery, well packaged in see through tubes. Can not fault this product. 5 stars plus
I have found these balls OK. They seem to have a low, flat bounce though.
A friend also had these said the durability was poor, but I believe this was because of how he not stored them in the tube, and been left in the cold. He complained that they didn’t last 2 sessions.
So, far mine have lasted 3, and are still serviceable.
Amazed at the quality for this price. Bounce well and good enough for competitive match play.
Not bad at all for the price. Good bounce, don’t shed as bad as some others. Spin slightly lower than others, but that’s to be expected. Not had them for long but gone flat yet. Only bought for training kids. Review from an ex county tennis player!
During my teens, I held onto 1 Slazenger tennis ball I had left just in case I happen to get a dog later in life (I’m in my mid 20’s now!). I’ve adopted a dog for 3 months now and that ball is still whole but is looking a bit worse for wear, so I was looking for a set that was at a reasonable price and wouldn’t fall apart instantly.
I found the packaging very strange for these balls – once you take off the black cap, it has a pull tab that basically pops like when you open a can of coke! Once you pull back the cover, you have 4 balls in each tube. These Head Radical balls are decent (not sure what they’d be like for actual tennis) and as soon as I got them out my dog wanted to know all about it. I will say that the white lining is something to be desired, but I’m using them for my dog’s enjoyment – as for tennis balls, I’d expect them to be a bit better quality.
I got this 12 pack for 10.99 which makes one ball cost roughly 92p each which isn’t too bad a value. Don’t expect them to look the best quality, but for dogs who enjoy playing fetch, these will do just fine.
