I love the style, is just quite small from the normal size. I normally wear size 14-16 UK in Jacket. Initially bought L, I have to exchanged it for the XL. It fit, but not much room left. You might to buy 2 sizes over if you are chubby like me.
The hood doesn’t cover your head properly if you have long hair and wait a pony tail.
Quality fitted Jacket! Small fitting! I ordered a medium and it’s perfect! Very stylish! Love it!

Bought this jacket as an early Xmas present for my partner, she said she needed a good waterproof jacket for walking the dog, this jacket is fitted thin lightweight but with a fleece lining she said it’s excellent and loves the style, must say it does look good, it’s definitely waterproof as she has tested it several times now, you can buy cheaper brands but couldn’t tell you if they would be a match for this one but will say you won’t be wasting your money if you decide on this one, big thumbs up
I have worn this jacket in really heavy rain and it waterproof for sure. The only problem that I have with this jacket is that the pockets at each side not deep enough as anything I put in there falls out. But if you are looking for a jacket that will keep you dry this is it.
Bought a medium for my 15 year daughter, she is a very slight size 8……very narrow body, she is a 6 in jeans but her shoulders are wider and her arms long……the medium is perfect.
I am a size 14/16 so went for a XL and that was right, I only wear a T-shirt underneath for now not sure a jumper might make it too warm!
Great casual anorak jacket that is lightweight and wind proof , having the benefit of being fully waterproof, warm and stylish with zipped fastenings . It’s made by a trusted maker and has useful pockets and wind proofed cuffs and neckline . I like the colour combination and it’s true to size. Expensive but worth it .
This Jacket looks stylish and fits well it is also very well made. It is a Helly Hansen, a Scandi brand that uses a modern outer layer developed to be windproof, waterproof and yet breathable. The inner layer is Polartec another very good quality modern fabric that is fleece and is very warm.
Being water and windproof, is so good for the English weather and comes with a fitted hood which rolls in and out at the back. There are adjustable wrist straps an interior pocket and waterproof zip.
I gave it to my oldest Grand daughter who is dead fussy were clothes are concerned, she likes it and wears it when out and about in the coastal town where we live.
The jacket is expensive but is well worth the money.

We’ve always bought Musto in our house. I know a guy who’s in the RNLI and they used to always get Musto in to. Helly Hansen recently bought Musto and the guy in the RNLI just got a load on new H/H kit and was really impressed.
I have to say – this is a really impressive jacket. Ok, it’s not their pro range – its not going to keep you dry in an off-shore drenching. But it’s great for everyday winter wear by the sea.
My wife loves it. Fits perfectly – the XS is good for a size 8. The fleece collar is a really good addition – though it does get makeup on it. It’s subtly branded and would not look out of place by the sea in Cornwall, around the guys in their offshore gear or in the city on the school run.
Like i said even though it’s not the pro range it feels like a premium product.

This jacket is really designed for marine use, but is perfect for any outdoor activities. My daughter recently went on a weekend trip with her school, which involved hiking, as well as sailing, and this was absolutely perfect.
The lining is a soft fleece, the material waterproof, but not bulky. The hood can tighten, there are three, zipped pockets, and it will tighten at the cuffs.

Fit is very accurate, I’d say order the size recommended in the manufacturer’s size chart. Fit is snug and secure, which is exactly what you want in this type of jacket.
Useful pockets and the sleeves can be tightened if so desired.
My wife has worn this in the rain and cold (she’s always cold) and reports it very warm without being sweaty and her cloths remained bone dry under it during persistent rain and a rain storm!
Quality product, worth the money if you need such a jacket.
I got this jacket for my daughter as she was attending an outward-bound course at the weekend. I’ve had Helly Hansen jackets in the past and have never been let down yet. My initial impression of this particular jacket was that it looked very stylish and also practical in terms of keeping the wet and cold out.
So how did it measure up on my daughter’s course? She’s confirmed that the jacket is great in the rain and is fully waterproof. It’s also warm but light enough not to be too much of a hindrance when out walking. Oh and she loves the way it looks too, which is saying something from a 16 year old fashionista!
So the final verdict is that this is a jacket from a quality brand that can always be relied upon.
Probably most importantly, the sizing is pretty true to size and, if anything, I’d say you can probably get away with a slightly smaller size if you’re not planning on wearing lots of bulky layers underneath. If you layer thinknits you might be okay going towards the smaller size if you’re inbetween sizes. The size chart is very helpful and I’d start here before you buy. I have the XS.
I’d say for general guidance, a UK size 8 will fit this well, a size 10 will find the xs a snug fit.

The inside of the coat us very warm. Perfect for winter and or rainy days! The waterproof material does not make you sweat at all.
Hidden inside pocket is quite a good size.
The sleeves are a good length I have long arms and they for perfect.
The end of the sleeves can be tightened, there us Velcro straps for you to adjust.
This whole coat, material, zip, hood, pockets, everything seems very durable and very well made. Perfect designed for very type of weather.
Love the fit on it. I am quite slim and normally coats always have baggyness to them but this fits like it was made for me.
You get what you pay for and this is 100% worth every penny!
