This is my 2nd order for this product. Use them in the cars by the dash. Also in a spare storage room. The color has never changed on mine but still i simply put them in the microwave when they are full of water. Also if not too wet then leave em in the sun or top of the radiator.

My car was constantly steaming up in damp weather. Tried to find the cause but failed Neant I had to spend time drying the inside of the windscreen.
. Placed one bag inside and the car remains dry. I use the spare when drying out the original in the microwave

I had fog in my ca every morning. Added these to the dash and no more issues. I now keep one in the car and one in the spare bedroom where I dry the clothes as it helps in there too. Will definitely purchase more for other rooms in the winter. I love the fact they can be microwaved and reused. 100% recommended.

The bags weight 1 kg each ( so massive ) and I’ve had them in my car since I purchased them and they still don’t need recharging in the microwave ( blue patch that turns pink ). Honestly I was fed up with having to demist the inside of the car first thing in a morning and for those short journeys after it’s had been stood a while , ,now it doesn’t happen and I can set off with a lovely clear windscreen and windows ,saves fuel and time ,would be ideal for lots of other uses where damp is a problem

Been using these for my car fridge and mini bar fridge to keep condensation away from cans and bottles and it’s perfect.

My car fridge would collect water at the bottom after a week and start to smell damp after a month but now totally dry. They seem to last months for my 45l car fridge and ~80l bar fridge.

Really impressed by the performance and would be tempted to buy more if I needed some.

As I have an older car my inside car windows get a lot of condensation on them. Saw this product after reading reviews given by variou sites as well as Amazon so decided to give it a try. At first very dubious as to if it would work but after a while noticed condensation greatly reduced . Mounted one on passenger side of front window on adhesive sticker and another without sticker on rear parcel shelf. Says to recharge but putting in microwave but thought that as heating was on would try radiator. Takes longer but this has also done trick

Only used for the last week. It has been very wet recently with plenty of moisture in the air. Seems to reduce but not completely eliminate condensation in the car. Time will tell how good it is.

This little bag was great for a while until I had to start recharging it. Now I’m lucky if it lasts for 48 hours. I don’t own a microwave so have to go elsewhere to ‘charge’ it and doing that every 2 days is a bit annoying. However when it works it does the job.

I have only just popped these into the boot of my car so time will tell if they keep working, however after only 48 hours the level of condensation in the rear windows has diminished noticeably so I have high hopes

Although the weather improved as soon as I bought them and they’ve only been put to the test once they seem to be working well fingers crossed. I say them but my car is smallish so I’m only using one at the moment. They are very well made, a good size and the non-woven fabric is strong. I’m not intending the use the dashboard pads. They appear to be self adhesive and I’m not keen to stick anything to my dashboard. To be honest I don’t think they are necessary. I place the pad on the dash overnight and remove it to the passenger seat before I drive away. Can’t see any benefit to having it on the dash while I’m driving.

Let’s be realistic. In winter with a lot of damp cold air then these aren’t going to suck every bit of moisture out of the air. The car windscreen still mists up (and sometimes frosts up), but these bags are still taking some excess moisture out of the air. The indicators on them do go pink after a while, and they need re-drying. I have found a hot radiator works as well as the microwave to do this. They sit on the dash board really well with the silicone mats supplied, I even leave them there the whole time (not just when stationary overnight) and they haven’t rolled off even once, despite the terrible potholes and road conditions.

  12. CorineL65wntj says:

I’ve only had them in the car for about 10 days and they seem to be working well, but time will tell. The only down side to them is they are quite bulky, but don’t restricy your view while driving.

Like the idea of the disc changing colour which indicates they should be dried out, which my old grey ones didn’t have. Included are 2 plastic mats which stop the bags from sliding around on the dash.
The only thing I don’t care for is I can see their reflection on my windscreen when the sun’s out which is annoying… so moved one to the parcel shelf at the back and put 1 of my old grey ones on the dash… so I now have 4 bags in the car.!!

So far these seem to work well the pads hold them to the dashboard great they look good to the indicating dogs show well I’ve had them in my car about 10days I have not had condensation at all since they have been in which is great .

These are really good. Surprisingly big. I have one in the car which has been helping immensely. The other one is in the room, but obviously doesn’t work as well because of the size of the room. But that was expected. I really like it, it’s useful and handy.

Bought these to help reduce condensation when getting into the car and they work exactly as advertised. We put them above the dashboard next to the screen and each morning have come out to a clear screen where previously it would have needed wiping or 5 minutes of clearing with the blowers.

They do take a while in the microwave to reset but handily this is all printed on the actual item so you don’t need to remember how long that should be.

You are also provided with non-slip mats which are very useful if you forget to remove the bags before driving off!

We had problems with condensation on the inside of our car on the windscreen, and this offered a solution to that. We followed the instructions and and place it on the dashboard – it does not slip, as it states. But, these particular ones are quite big, so we placed ours more toward the passenger side than driver’s side so as not to obscure the view. Whilst this definitely helped to reduce the condensation, it did not eliminate it completely (and perhaps that was a little unrealistic of us). It obviously works better once you have ‘recharged’ it and you can do this more often to be more effective. But, it was good value at the end and given its limitations, as stated, I’d recommend it if you have the same issue.

My car is really bad for windscreen condensation so I bought these. Tried using one on its own and it worked ok for slight condensation but now weather is damper/colder, I have both on the dashboard and they work well. However, in damper weather periods they need drying out more often. In summary though, definitely helping to get out in the road quicker in the mornings so happy with them.

Wasn’t too sure when purchased 2 of these, but after trying they are brilliant! They really do take all the moisture out of the inside of the car. When blue spot turns pink wrap well in kitchen paper, microwave 6 mins, wait to cook down, use again…

  20. JameyLukez says:

I had recently purchased a used car which unfortunately gets bad condensation and even iced up on the inside (was not apparent at time of purchase). Purchased a pack of two of these and turns out it was the right quantity for my vehicle.

Not had any issues with clearing the inside of my windscreen since getting these. It’s lovely to be able to drive off pretty much straight away inside of spending 15 mins trying every trick in the book to get them clear. The mats are useful for keep these in hold, but they do stick to the surface very quickly and effectively so pick your position to place these carefully – tried to move one within two days of placement and it was already a challenge!

I do like the dot changing colour from blue to red so I know when to “recharge” these. First time took about 5 weeks after purchase. Instructions suggest 6-12 mins in a 600W microwave. I tried 9 mins in a 700W microwave and although it had definitely done something worthwhile in my car, the dot is already looking purple after a few days. That will obviously have to be something I need to experiment with and find a timing that works (I suspect I also need more kitchen roll than what I did use), but I am still encouraged by the fact they have still worked after their first microwave session.

Overall, a good purchase and a much needed one!

Bought this for my car. I did try just using one but it wasn’t as effective as I would have liked (and I only have a small car) but using two and that has made the difference in removing almost all the condensation in my car. Clear colour change reminds me to recharge in the microwave. Saves time in clearing the car. Recommend.

Well I have had many different colour change types of these that either fail to work or colour spot fails to change colour after recharge, This one is sure the best, I have water getting in my car somewhere that I cannot find, after many months of misted up windows this cracked it in 48hrs, I have since purchased another pair of this type because IT DOSE WHAT IT SAYS ON THE PACKAGE More to the point I have not even recharged them yet after 4 months with many poredowns of rain, No more misted-up windows inside your car, These will also do well inside a caravan to prevent mould when not in use outside season. Full 5 stars

This does exactly what it says in stopping the car from misting up. I have waited a while to do this review because I was waiting until the “dot turned pink” – ie it needed “drying out”. As instructed, I wrapped in kitchen paper towel and put it in the microwave. The water seemed to evaporate from the device and everywhere was “wet”. The only thing that it did not tell you to do was have some more paper towel to put it on to enable it to continue to dry out.
Very glad that I bought this in-expensive dehumidifier for our two cars. Great and thank you.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThere are a few bad reviews on here but I’m really not sure what the issue is. Given the mixed reviews, I was a bit worried that the Dehumidifier Bag wouldn’t work so I just got the single version. However, we put it in our car yesterday and it worked immediately. Today, going out 3 times, each time the windows were clear, no moisture at all.

As I said, I have no idea what’s going on with the ones that haven’t worked but it did for us and I can highly recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersAbsolutely the best buy for moisture absorption in my car. For those of you with dogs, you’ll know how steamed up the windows can get and getting rid of this moisture can be troublesome in the colder months. I put this little beauty on my dashboard and the following morning I didn’t have to dry the inside of my windscreen.
As yet, I haven’t had to dry the bag as the indicator hasn’t yet turned pink but, as I don’t have a microwave, I’ll have to put it on a radiator. That said, a friend said to make sure that when I put it on the radiator I open a window so the moisture from the bag isn’t transferred into the atmosphere in the house. It also made sense to buy the twin pack so when one pack is drying out, the other is being used in the car.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI bought these for mine and my girlfriend’s cars. Having used similar, all be it smaller ones before and been very disappointed these are the exact opposite. They are bigger than the pictures made them look however using the supplied non slip rubber mat they sit on the dash perfectly. They also importantly do not move at all care of the mat. Boy do they work. On the cold damp mornings there is zero delisting needed on the inside of all the windows. That thing where you wait for the car to warm up to clear it, gone. The cars feel much drier and even that horrible feeling of a slightly sticky, slimy steering wheel no matter how often you clean it has gone. It’s worth every penny.

Condensation problem in the house was the main reason for purchase, these do not do that job at all. Better off ventilating or getting the delonghi dehumidifier for that. Or new windows only thing I haven’t tried is putting all the 6 we bought on one window sill.

I’ve sat this on a bedroom window ledge that was prone to mould and condensation. I scrubbed the area first with diluted bleach and dried it. It has remained free of mould and it is still dry. The bag hasn’t needed drying in the microwave yet. The sun must dry it out. It’s been there for 3 weeks. I am impressed.

These are bigger bags than many of the similar products on the market so I hope they can absorb more. We have them installed on the dashboard. if there is condensation on the windscreen then there is definitely an area of no condensation around the bag. They are easy to fit. They come with a sticky patch which adheres to the dashboard. On the upper sand there is a “rough” or non-slip surface. You simply put the bag there and it does not move. We have had them for about 2 months now and have not needed to dry them out.

Use these bags in my van / Garage and shed and they have made a huge difference to all.
Our garage is quite a large space and did not think that putting one of these bags in there would make much of a difference but it did. I now have 2 bags in there and it feels bone dry in there, very impressed with these bags worth the money i think.

I bought these for my sons room which was getting a LOT of condensation during the colder months, and for my car where I was getting a lot in the mornings too.

This definitely made quite a difference to the car – I found soon after it was in the car that we didn’t have to wipe down the windscreen from inside to soak up condensation.

I also found that my sons windows had less condensation.

The only downside is that it says that the circle in the middle will turn pink but it never did so you just have to microwave them every so often to dry them out.

But definitely good for smaller spaces.

    hope that helps.

I have an old fiesta, usually I have to dry the inside of the screen with a towel or scrape the icicles inside the car. I put these two bags in the car and put the heaters on for a journey then and within 2 days all of the condensation was gone and no more having to scrape the windscreen.

    Works amazing!!

    I havent tried microwave.

  39. Nicole Edsall says:

Does wick moisture out of the air. However if you have soaked car carpets, you’re better off with two. Drying seems best done with a combination of microwave and leaving to dry on radiators.

This year, for the first time, I had ice on the inside of my pickup truck windscreen ! I’d never had it before, but was getting condensation more and more regularly (again on the inside of the screen) sometimes it was very wet. However since I’ve bought these pads (I use two- one one the dash, one behind the back seat) I’ve never had a problem. Every day, damp to freezing, the inside of the windows are dry. I would definitely recommend these if you have problems with condensation in your car.

super fast delivery, but if you have an old car like me and finding condensation inside a problem, then you have to buy these, I was sitting in my car for ages trying to clear the screen sucking all the moisture up with a window vac which was a pain. left overnight and I noticed a difference the next day, been in the car 2 weeks now and the little dot hasn’t turned pink yet. honestly cant recommend these enough. So fed up with water running down the inside of my windows, brought these to try sort as the funky white mould that grows on my boot gets me down too. Day one is in photo, the water on the windscreen is all outside the car and inside is as dry as anything, day two is the same although dot on bag indicates I need to recharge the bags. Plus irritation of mopping it all the time and waiting for blowers to try to dry the blessed stuff! So bought these bags. Larger than I was expecting but wow they do the job! Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersVery effective at absorbing moisture in our car, but instrucitons for recharging could be better.

Recharging by microwaving for 6-12 minutes in one go wasn’t very effective – probably because only so much moisture can evaporate away within a short period of time.

I found that multiple, shorter periods were more effective – remove the bag from the microwave and allow it to cool off – a huge amount of moisture will be released as steam when it is placed in a cooler environment. Repeat microwaving/removing until the indicator has turned blue again.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersMy windshield is not misting in the mornings up since I bought this. With the little adhesive mat that comes with it, it does not budge at all on the dash board. It’s not adhesive like sellotape, which would leave a residue, more like those reusable lint rollers where you can wash them to restore the stickiness, so the material itself is tacky. It can be repositioned. Just lay the bag on top and it stays put. I love that this is a two pack as well so I can replace it with a dry one and have that in the car whilst I re-charge the used one. I can’t recommend these enough, bloody brilliant!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersBeen using it for 2 weeks now and it seems pretty effective.
One side of the bag should be plain black though, because the printed logos / text reflect on the windscreen, and the thread is white when it should be black. Therefore, when I get in the car, I have to move them before I drive anywhere.
If you do keep them in place, the none slip pads do a good job. However, they too have white print that reflects on to the windscreen.
Best to use a black Sharpie to try and minimise the reflections.
