I have had an Honor Magic watch for a couple of years but, when I saw the offer price on this latest model, I decided to upgrade. There is no more having to use the excellent (but is it safe?) Huaweii Health app. which isn’t available from the Google app. store, instead a very similar Honor app. is downloaded from Google. The GS3 itself does everything you could possibly want in a smartwatch, except I don’t think it takes your temperature, but its monitoring of heart, blood oxygen, steps, sleep and stress is great. You can even input your weight and B.P. into the app. (not from the watch) and get charts and lots of info. There is a mike and speaker which is amazingly loud and clear for music playing independent of your phone, and with your phone it also shows Google notifications and you can make phone calls. The screen is amazingly clear. The bluetooth range is also fantastic, really useful if you forgot where you put down your phone (anywhere in my average sized detached house). I’m an old chap trying to look after my health so I can’t comment on all the fitness activity features, as I wont be using most of them, but it seems to have everything covered, even swimming strokes. My rowing machine which wasn’t in the activities of the original magic watch is in there, so hopefully it will soon be counting my strokes on that. I have only two niggles, 1) There are so many amazing watch faces to try, its taking up a lot of my time trying them all out, but seriously 2) The Auto brightness can be too dim in low indoor light (you might have say watching T.V.). I think a Firmware update to allow users to calibrate this would be useful, in all other situations it seems to work great. Last of all there are no ongoing monthly fees for the app. and I haven’t noticeced any ads either so far. It looks really cool with the black stainless steel 22 mm strap I fitted, so I’m ready for the swimming baths.
I did the research about this watch beforehand and looks matter to me too..it had so many sensors – SPO2 monitor, GPS, heart rate, sleep monitor.. Plus bluetooth calling via phone. Start Trek time!!
With the physical style and the brilliant styles of digital faces you can have to suit the occasion, it’s an amazing watch.
One note though, if you are not into competitions via Strava, etc. (It matters greatly for some), this would be a brilliant match.. great price for the piece.
I like Honor watches as I Honor band 6 which wear regularly. Very reliable with long battery life. Unfortunately, I had to return this watch as it is not compatible with iPhone’s iOS. Otherwise, very well made and looks good. Ok for android users.
Ho scoperto che il problema non l’orologio ma l’app. Honor health. Con l’app. Huawei health beta oppure mod funziona tutto alla perfezione e si possono installare anche quadranti custom. In rete si trovano tutte le istruzioni del caso.
Great watch with its classic design I got the gold version and have been getting compliments on it a lot. The watch doesn’t do a great deal more that my other hauwei watch but it doesn’t need to. I am really happy with it and would recommend, the battery life is insane giving me around 8 to 9 days on a single charge you can take calls and see messages although you cannot reply on the watch. I have had Samsung smart watches and this is better in my opinion just less apps and lack of ability to reply to messages on the watch itself are the only things it lacks that I miss. Great watch
Bought this for my husband to go with his new Honor phone. It doesn’t have the android wallet function which is to bad but it’s a great starter Watch for the price.

Petite question paramtrage, comment svp pour recevoir les notifications messenger ou autre que celles dfinies par dfaut dans l’application ?

Benachrichtigung von den paar eingeschrnkten Apps, die die Honor Health App erlaubt funktionieren. Der Wecker wird wie gewohnt zur Watch weitergeleitet(zumindest auf dem Honor Magic 4 Pro, auf dem Honor 20 Pro selbstverstndlich nicht ) und auf der Watch kann er beendet oder auf Snooze gestellt werden. Anrufe knnen angewiesen /angenommen und ber das Phone gefhrt werden(kein Anrufaudio auf der Watch), alternativ kann auch mit SMS z. B. “Rufe zurck baba” abgewiesen werden.
Jetzt geht’s los, die App die in der Honor Health App zur Auswahl zur Verfgung stehen, um Benachrichtigung weiter zuleiten, sind sehr eingeschrnkt, als Messager war es nur WA und Telegram, alles anderen, wie Signal, FB-Messager/Lite, Google Messages etc. NoWay. Als Kalender steht nur der interne Honor Kalender zur Auswahl d. h. Termine aus einem andern Kalender wie Google knnen nicht an die Watch weitergeleitet werden.
Google Messages leite zwar SMS aber keinen Chat weiter. Antwort auf Nachricht ist nicht mglich, was ich auch nicht brauche.
Die Auswahl der Watchfaces in der App ist sehr eingeschrnkt, dafr kostenlos. Wie blich kein Digi Watchface mit Sekundenanzeige.
Die nervige Dauerbenachrichtigung(Anzahl Schritte im Benachrichtigungsbereich am Phone lsst sich nicht deaktivieren.

Die automatische Helligkeitseinstellung auf der Watch ist nicht brauchbar, da dunkler aus die dunkelste man. einstellbare Helligkeit.
Beim kopieren von MP3s auf die Watch mittels der Honor Health App kam nachdem die ersten auf die Watch kopiert war, auf der Watch die Meldung “blabla, kopiert” mit dem-FB-Logo”, bei den restlichen 4 MP3s kam dann keine Meldung mehr. Der Akku- Verbrauch, war wren der 5h Testphase 0%.
Herzfreqenz und Spo2 funktioniert zuverlssig, auf das geplante Schlaf oder Aktivitt-Traking habe ich dann verzichtet und das Teil wieder eingepackt. Nach diversen Updates luft es ganz gu
