Buy cheap, buy twice as the old saying goes. I had problems with cheaper versions of the hose connectors which weren’t compatible with my jet washer and eventually the sprayer inevitably starting leaking too.
I saw this sprayer and connectors set and decided to make the investment after wasting quite a bit of money replacing substandard cheaper parts repeatedly.
What an improvement from the outset. If you’re in doubt on whether to pay a few extra pounds then take this review as confirmation that you’re doing the right thing for your bank balance in the long run. It’s robust, works perfectly and saves water by not leaking everywhere.
Never was dissapointed with HOZELOCK and I am not dissapointed with this spray gun either. It works great, have all the modes you need, but it will not last forever. If it falls on hard surface it will crack or brake. Still very good for the price.
Has several settings for different spray patterns. Sturdy design. Had my previous one for years but needed replacing so I got the same type as it is everything you need
I bought this at the same time as a new Hozelock hose (reviewed elsewhere) to replace our twenty-year-old (if it’s a day) hose full of kinks and leaks. We had a couple of spray guns which were pretty unsatisfactory, either flimsy or spraying the water over me or anywhere but the plants. They’ve now gone for recycling. The new spray gun is a joy to use, all the water comes out of the nozzles, all of it goes onto the plants and none of it leaks over me. It operates smoothly and precisely and I didn’t realise how enthusiastic I could get about a new hose and spray gun. Couldn’t be happier.
The jet setting needs to be more powerful. The last one I had from the same company was a lot more powerful. Otherwise seems great quality

The handle is on the wrong side and acts like an anchor when you’re reeling in the hose can’t see it lasting long unless I detach it everytime

I was fed up replacing the end on my hose because it would be leaking water everywhere after a few uses. I was impressed by the reviews on this gun so thought it was worth a try and I am pleased to say that it proving to be a quality product. Used daily and still going strong.
I was looking to get my garden fixed up nicely as it was way overdue a makeover. So the gardener who was at the stage of looking to lay some new turf asked if I’ve got an external hose tap. Which I don’t. So the idea then was to hire someone to get that setup. So I did my research as I thought there must be something I can use to cover the tap of the kitchen sink. I came across the Hozelock products and they we’re perfect (also with this item I bought, there was an adaptor which needed to cover the kitchen tap – see image). But once that was on, the rest was so easy to put together. Easily one of the best things I’ve purchased and easy to setup. Up and running in less than 5 mins.
