Extremely smooth user experience starting from the moment of unboxing. The screen tilting function is so great that I no more care it doesn’t have a built-in speaker or whatever.
Easy to assemble, does the job well, great for working from home.
This is a good quality unit especially for the price
I bought this as a replacement for a much older device for my mother-in-law’s PC and she is very pleased with it. The 1920 x1080 resolution is perfect for general office work, web browsing and catchup TV. The unit is smart to look at is perfectly stable on a desk. It comes with an HDMI and power cable so it’s easy to just plug in and go. The picture is bright and sharp with plenty of reserve for brightness adjustment if required. The frame rate is probably too low for a serious gamer, but at this price that’s definitely not the target market.
The only downside is the lack of built-in sound, so you will need to consider either a set of external speakers or a USB sound bar. I bought the HONKYOB USB Computer Speaker which does the job just fine without the usual rats nest of cables you get with a speaker set. And it fits very well under the front of the monitor so as not to take up too much extra desk space.
I bought 2 of these for my home office. It was a great decision.
If you have a high demand for graphics performance you might want something with a higher refresh rate, but for office work or programming and at that price… You can’t go wrong.
I use this for work not games or graphics so can’t talk about that.
Nice screen with thin bezels and bright and colourful. I like it. Seems to have plenty of adjustment so perfectly acceptable.
The stand is not adjustable for height and is quite short. Although it cam tilt.
The stand is quite sturdy so that’s good.
Has 3 plug ins, power, VGA and HDMI in the back so a bit short on peripherals but fine for me. It slots in the back straight in and not at some odd angle which makes it easy to set up. The power is not a kettle lead but an adaptor which slots in the back. The power lead is a bit short so could be an issue for some.
So for a cheap monitor for basic work, it’s perfectly fine. I would buy one again and would recommend it to a chum within its limitations and price bracket.
There is an issue with the cable connectivity/sensitivity. Sometimes you have to try several times to get the HDMI cable to work.
I bought 2 of these monitors to use as secondary monitors to my main monitor for a total of 3 monitors. I am very happy with the quality of the monitors. Picture quaility is very good. I wouldn’t buy them for gaming, but if I had no other options they would be fine since they can run at 75Hz.
Really good monitor, I brought it for my 12year old son for Christmas and the whole family was impressed, the screen and picture quality is so sharp
I’ll be buying a few more very soo
Great but. No audio… Hence the 4 stars. Did manage to get a hdmi to VGA that has an audio out so will see if that works when delivered. Has a game mode that definitely stops the latency. Still great picture for the gaming mode. Normal picture mode for YouTube etc is great! I use it as a monitor for my electric drum kit. So far so good. I recommend. Just get a vga to hdmi adapter that has the audio out port…
A very good product. Happy with picture quality. I had bought it for the display of our products but I could not use it because there was no space at the event so I need to find a stand for it for future use.
Another fantastic Huawei product. I’ve got this monitor for gaming and work and it works perfectly for both. Obviously with it being a cheaper monitor it’s not the most crystal clear graphics but you get what you pay for with technology. This monitor doesn’t come with built in speakers so if you’re looking for sound then you will have to purchase additional speakers or a headset but for what I use and need it for this product is faultless and works fantastically for me. Definitely recommend
This is a nice sturdy monitor, it has a good amount of weight to it so it is not so easy to nock over if it were to be nocked and the screen picture is great. The controls on the monitor are very straight forward which is nice and the buttons and ports are all very easy to access. I had an issue with my first purchase and after contacting the seller they were very happy to help me get a replacement which came even quicker than the first one which was also very prompt in it’s arrival. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and with the seller.
For 139.99, it is a good product. Good for daily working. But the one I got have serval dead pixels, you won’t be able to notice it.
The monitor is decent, but nothing glamorous. You can overclock it to 75Hz which is nice. That said, the viewing angles are not the best, I use it in vertical mode so maybe that’s why, but that is not a big deal breaker. All in all, it is a decent monitor for the money, but don’t expect to be playing FPS games at their best on i
The monitor itself is fine. Small bezel and good size. Would have been good if the stand was adjustable though as it’s a bit too high for where it’s situated and I’m limited on there it can go.
This is a full 5 stars for me.
The build quality is great and it has a very premium feel. The screen moves up and down and tilts.
I wanted a monitor to work from home with and for watching stuff on Netflix. I got more than I paid for.
I have had other monitors before including ASUS and HP but this model bits them all.
How the screen attaches to the stand is premium and the entire set up is minimalist.
Highly recommended.
I would happily buy a second one
I wanted a second monitor for my gaming laptop and this was an ideal choice. I really enjoy it, it looks very sleek and modern. but there is a noticeable difference compared to my laptops own screen which is 144hz
Bought this as an extra screen for my wife’s laptop. it came with an HDMI cable and power cable. very good quality and for less than 100! ideal, big enough and representing great value for money.
Over all awesome screen only thing thats annoying about it that there is no audio output (kinda wish i read that before buying 3 at once lol but i should be able to get some little sound bars for them that will do the same job (i’m hoping) so when the kids open all there stuff up at xmas they are not going to be let down by no audio.
so to sum up awesome screen just a ashame that there is no audio but actually thinking about getting my self one
Ok so it doesn’t gave speakers on it but I don’t care I’m using it as a 2nd monitor and the picture quality is fantastic. Can’t comment on what it’s like for gaming because I haven’t got a gaming pc but I’d imagine it is good
Loved the slim beveled edges as I’m using two of these screens in extended mode for work. The display quality is very good and the screen controls are easy and intuitive to use. The screen surround doesn’t exactly look expensive, but these aren’t expensive monitors so plenty good enough. The stands and screen mounting system are a triumph of good design. Very quick and easy to build and set up. Tilt adjustment is nice and solid. Pretty good all round for the money.
Used so far this monitor for 1 week or so. Everything looks lovely, games, tv series, movies, pictures, all good. The screen is also matte which for me is quite good because during the day the light does not reflect that much. Overall I am very satisfied with the monitor. I would recommend it.
If you’re aiming a monitor for productivity, this one gets the job done. It has a sleek design, simple configurations and a good overall image quality. Oh, be careful, there is no built-in speakers, so it’s that kind of work-only monitor.
Using as a smart home display in portrait orientation. Great quality display, and good viewing angles when in portrait. Very minor annoyance in that the power cable juts out a bit from the back of the display which limits how close to the wall I can get the monitor (a common issue not limited to this monitor).
Good size and good screen quality for home working, doc and conference calls. Not too bulky on the desk, just bear in mind there is no height adjustment though, not a problem for me as I have an adjustable stand or the alternative would be an arm. Very easy to install.
This is for the 60Hz, 24 inch model since the reviews are all jumbled up here. For the price, I can’t complain at all. It is a solid screen, okay picture quality and the screen is very presentable with small bezels.
There is no audio, nor USB C connection but you can’t really expect that for 100 quid (I got this on Prime Day). Connects without a fuss through HDMI and I am using it as a second screen alongside the Mateview 28 inch which is a phenomenal screen albeit you will have to shell out a lot more for it.
Resolution is Full HD and does the job well. There is a fairly long HDMI cable included in the package but no other frills – none were expected.
I am quite happy with the product and rate it 5 stars for the value. As of summer 2022 nothing comes close to this screen in terms of value for money.
Out of the box it’s a little bit washed out and over bright and has a weird motion blur when moving things on screen. However, using something like NVIDIA Control panel, you can easily change the screen color/brightness settings to your liking. I have tweaked it to a very nice setting and there’s no motion blur, and the screen is very sharp and not blurry at all.
It also says it’s a “60hz” monitor, and while that’s true it does thankfully overclock to 75hz stable. If you want to be safe you can clock it to 65 or 70.
For that, the price of this is super worth it.
Overall it’s well built with a sturdy stand, it could be improved by having more than 1 HDMI port and better screen resolution if you like watching movies. It’s for my work purposes so based on the good price at the moment it’s perfect for what I need.
I love huawei in general. I have loads of their products.
I got 2 of these screens at same time as a wfh setup. Both working great and love the picture quality.
Its been about 6 months now and one of them “fried”. I am trying now to find the cause of the issue but one stopped working completely.
I would still suggest the product as it may have been a faulty plug as the screens have been great and the other one works properly and at about 10-11h per day constantly on.
I have two of these as a duel monitor gaming setup and they work amazing, the screen has very little glare which is great if there is lots of sunlight getting in the room. They also are incredibly easy to mount to a wall as they are compatible with most monitor mounts.
The monitor itself looks amazing, the bezels are pretty small and very clean looking overall, my only negative to this monitor is that the power cable is white, I don’t know who came up with the idea for a white cable to go with a balck monitor but it really stands out so you may want to buy a new cable or hide it behind the wall if you don’t want it on show, also if you are into competitive gaming you will probably want a monitor with higher refresh rate as this is only 60hz which is perfect for most gaming but is still something to bare in mind.
No complaints using this monitor as a second screen for working from home. Have not tried this with games as this is for work only. Clear display and the computer recognised the screen plug-and-play. The stand is robust and weighty enough to support the monitor and I have also just mounted it to the wall using a swing arm VESA TV bracket, which fitted perfectly into the recessed space on the back after removing the 4 screws provided. Larger brackets may require the use of stand-offs that come with most kits nowadays.
I bought two of these to put side by side as they have very (almost zero) narrow bezels at the sides and top. They would sit nicely together but I bought a stand that’s been a bit of a disappointment, but that’s not the fault of these very nice monitors.
You should note: HDMI and VGA connectors, and no speakers. Also, the connectors are mounted on the back of the monitor, so your cables will stick out, rather than pointing down.
120 (each) seems like a pretty reasonable price to have paid, so I’m very happy with them.
when playing games it seems to struggle a little with frame rate dips. using a laptop but, the resolution is same despite being a larger screen.. not sure why this is and im not confident that its the monitors fault.
other than this issue (which could entirely be a fault of my laptop) its amazing.
I purchased this for my sons gaming PC build (mostly Minecraft) and its is a really nice screen. it compares well to my much more expensive BenQ screen on the HDMI input
The colours are decent out of the box but I did change a few settings around to get a more defined colour grade from the screen
I do like Huawei products and this is a good IPS screen for the price of an average VA screen
The only issue that I see with the screen (which doesn’t affect me) is how the screen is mounted meaning that there may be some issues if I decided to use a VESA arm mount etc
For the price, this has good picture quality. The brightness is good and has decent sharpness and good value for money.
Not great for gaming. It is only a 60hz display. Does have 2 connections, a VGA and HDMI which is a decent port selection. I mainly use this as a secondary display to have Discord or other things on.
The stand isn’t great, you can tilt but that’s about it. Not much movement at all. Stuck at one height. If you are mounting the monitor this isn’t much of an issue.
A weird point, the monitor is black but the power cable is white which I found odd enough that I had to mention.
Also power efficiency isn’t great, so if you are conscious of power usage I would take this into account.
Depending on the price point and what offers are available at the time via Amazon and Huawei Cashback this can be a good deal, but at full price I would say this isn’t good value for money and better monitors can be found.
I bought this for office use as after cashback it was very good deal. Great for general office use and watching movies – it has a very even back light. Fine for casual gamees, but competitive gamers are likely to need 120hz as a minimum. The bezel is super thin, so thin that a webcam will eat in to the screen space. I had to solve this with a separate webcam stand.
It comes with an hdmi cable and putting the it together is intuitive and requires no additional tools. Overall, very happy.
Huawei generally make good hardware and the build quality of this monitor seems to be quite good. The screen is clear, the bezels are small, and the backlight is even. No built in speakers but they’re usually crap anyway, and it does come with an HDMI cable in the box unlike a lot of these. I bought it as a home office device so can’t comment on gaming or movie watching.
Huawei are doing 50 cashback on this device at the moment so it’s very competitively priced (as long as you don’t mind giving the Chinese government your bank details) and as I got 30 more off on a lightning deal that makes it a bargain.
