Overall excellent package, for that price range they could have provided a repair tool kit.
So I got this for my little cousin Maya and love the actual wheels and also the bike itself he really wanted to write it a lot more than he did but we couldn’t allow that because it was time for him to eat. I feel like it was very easy to put together and that’s one thing I will thought would have been the greatest struggle but it wasn’t is my simple one easy and to the point I hadn’t had any problems or issues with it everything went on smoothly and I definitely recommend this is especially for the price of bicycles specially for kids going up. I haven’t seen any problems or faults with this so far the bikes been riding five breaks of work perfectly fine and they are the old fashioned old school breaks the rubber breaks so I wasn’t really worried about her at all and it’s also got stabilisers which is quite helpful for children and usually majority of the stabilisers used on bikes they kind of end up Wheeling or for sleeping or getting damaged but this one has been very firm and strong so far which is very much respected. I feel like it’s definitely worth the purchase especially for a young cousin in that age range. I definitely recommend it.
Review for Huffy Moto X Boys Bike 12, 14, 16, 18 Inch Wheels Multiple Colours With BMX Styling (Yellow, 18″)
A very well made boys BMX style cycle. Assembly is generally fairly simple and the bike comes partly assembled for transporting and practicality. Once assembled the bike is sturdy and tough enough with good build quality overall. the chain is concealed behind a plastic chain guard to prevent the muck and grease getting onto clothes. The bike is available in a number of snazzy colours to choose from. Overall easy to assemble and sturdy bike.
I’ve had no issues with the bike arriving damaged, a great looking micro bmx, took around 20 minutes to unbox and throw together, pretty much effortless and my three year old loves it
My cons with the bike are the weight of the thing! But it definitely feels built to last, perhaps and apocalypse, and the price, at 125 it’s way up there but if a deal comes in at 100 or less it would be a 5 star product without a doub
It was hard to put together because the manual is lacking THE right instructions
A great little bike for little boys – my son loves just sitting on it and pretending to ride!
Really sturdy, easy to assemble and robust.
A good size too!
Well made, good quality, great value, and recommended by us.
I ordered this bicycle for my nephew for his sweet 16teen birthday. Made him so happy, he wasn’t expecting such a valuable gift. He is delighted that now with milder weather and summer holiday soon, he will have a chance to join his friend in cycling tour in nature, as it’s comfortable to ride for hours.
The bicycle was not difficult to assemble, with the help of his dad. It’s really nice quality and not heavy, yet looks sturdy.
The bike came in a large box but did need some minimal assembly. However it was easy to do. The bike itself is a lovely blue colour and appears to have been made well and seems pretty sturdy too. My daughter is just trying to ride a bike without stabilisers however this bike does come with them. So at least you have the option to use them or not. The bike has a bmx style appearance so looks cool or at least that’s how my daughter described it.
Overall it’s a great looking sturdy bike, it was easy to assemble and the main thing is my daughter loves her new bike!
A nice little bike thats manufactured ok albeit not the best finishing that I’ve seen, however, it’s reasonably sturdy when assembled
It’s easy to assemble and looks cool
The price is reasonable and the kids will love it
It arrived well packaged and everything seemed to be in tact with no missing parts
Nice little bike for the money
I ordered this flashy BMX bike for my nephew who is 3 years old.
Arrived 90% assembled inside a branded boke with built in handles.
Completed assembly within 10 mins, fitted handle and seat and pulled down peddles into horizontal position. Biggest issue I have before using bike was the tyres had no air in at all, make sure you have a pump at the ready or there will be lots of crying.
Huffy Moto boys bike looks exactly like big boys BMX.
Excellent Red BMX sporty bike with so much attention to details in branding, padded seat trim and racing number plate.
Love the small 12 inch wheels, bike is very robust and sturdy. With stabilizers attached stands up by itself. Great first bike just need to train him to turn the peddles by himself, currently it is a push bike .
Overall, great look premium sporty BMX bike. First step to a life time of BMXing like his uncle.
I would recommend this product.
Colour Name: Yellow
Size Name: 18″
This bike arrived pretty much assembled, which was rather handy as the instructions included were more generic, rather than specifically for this bike. Particularly when it came to putting the handlebars into the front fork. You can pretty much figure the rest out yourself.
If the stabilisers are the right height, these just slot into place, otherwise you are going to have to take off the main wheel nuts and make some adjustment to the height. The saddle is easy enough to do with a couple of spanners. Apart from making sure everything else is tightened up properly, that is pretty much all you need to do really.
As the description says this is a BMX style bike and it does come across like that. It looks smart on the yellow, has some go faster stripes and the big 18 numberplate on the front. Although it is a bit cheap and plasticky and the one on this bike was marked. The chain guard is made of the same quality plastic and is semi-transparent. Tyres are slightly chunky, so should be ok for road and off-road.
Size wise, this is the 18″ version, so suitable for 5-7-year-olds — approx. 112-127cm.
The one issue I did have with assembling this bike was with tightening the handlebar into the fork. This is a plastic nut, and you cannot get it tight enough by hand. So out with the adjustable wrench. I would have preferred this to have been metal
If I have a criticism with this bike, it is the weight. It comes in at 14.6Kg. I had a look at comparable bikes from a well-known high-street retailer, the brand of bike my daughters had when they were younger, and they were a good 2Kg lighter – that is quite a bit for a child.
I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Thanks for reading.
I got this bicycle for my granddaughter, who is turning 3 this year. First of all the quality of the bike is excellent it’s really solid and robust and the paint work looks very professional. Once out the box it was very easy to assemble and only took about 20 minutes all in all. I really like the fact that the training wheels simply chip on an off so once she is ready it easy to switch her over to free riding.
Overall, I’m pretty impressed for the price and feel it good value for money.
Firstly the box is big and heavy so make sure you have enough space to set it up, we set it up in our garden! It took my husband less than an hour and we had to use a few of our own tools to tighten the bike. We recieved the blue bike and are happy with that as our Granddaughters favourite colour is blue. The bike is very heavy to carry so please make sure you’re aware of that before your child decides they’d rather walk home like ours did.
I was so pleased when we first opened the box to discover the bike was mostly set up already, this bike was a good height for our 3 year old Granddaughter who is taller than her age group and we didn’t even have to higher the seat for her. It’s very easy to set up and the stabilisers can be taken off or placed on with the simple click of a button.
The bike is brilliant quality, it was not damaged in the rain and it was very easy for our Granddaughter to ride. The bell was put on the wrong way but we moved it around fine.
The 14″ bike was big enough for our 3 year old Granddaughter with room to higher the seat and the price was for 115-150, my Granddaughter struggled to peddle at times however I’m unsure whether that is to do with her age or the bike, it was very easy to assemble and I was very confident she wouldn’t fall off due to the sturdiness with the training wheels on, for the price it’s an amazing bike.
This review is for the Huffy Moto X Boys Bike 12, 14, 16, 18 Inch Wheels Multiple Colours With BMX Styling.
A nice well made strong bike. Arrived well packaged and on time. There are multiple different instructions on the pack, some not for this bike so make sure you choose the right one.
It was missing a spanner, to be honest I’m not sure if it’s suppose to come with it. How are you will need one to fix the seat. Once done, it’s a great bike. Would recommend.
You will also need a pump to blow up the tires.
1. Delivery:
The delivery was quick and came in a big box. The box was delivered safely and was well packaged.
2. Assembly:
Assembly instruction says some tools required, but this is only true to assemble the seat. Rest of the assembly is pretty much tool free. There is a booklet and a paper that comes with various languages. If you focus on paper which says tool free assembly then it will be easy to understand things. Most of the bike was assembled quickly. But I had to spend a lot of time in understanding how to fit the handle of the bike. Eventually it fit well on the top of front wheel. At least you will need a spanner to tight the bolt under the seat. Also the tires come without air, so it will be good to arrange air pump beforehand. Also the bike comes with stabilizing wheels which is good for kids under age 8.
3. Usage:
Bike is of good quality. The kids love to ride with this bike. The brakes are a bit tight so you need to make sure the rubber of rear brakes are not touching the wheels while riding. The tires and frame is made of good quality. Overall, I was pleased with this bike.
Got a kid? Need a bike for him or her?
This is Huffy Moto X 12 Inch Boys Bike Red 3-5 Year Old Easy Quick Connect Assembly + Stabilisers
I like the red colour – very smart!
Although this is a boys bike, it can still be used by girls, even though it isn’t pink.
The box is more bulky than heavy at 12kg.
Its dimensions are
92cm width
20cm depth
54cm heigh
I have this Huffy Moto X kids bike in red and black on 16″ wheels.
It arrived boxed with user guide and stabilisers.
It required quick and easy assembly, it took me literally a few minutes to put it together.
Bike looks and feels well made and of a decent quality.
I like its style/design with front attached racing number plate, it doesn’t have to be mounted if not needed.
It looks lovely in the black and red combination, paint quality is good without any imperfections.
Everything works as it should, breaks are strong and easy to use, saddle and handle bar height is adjustable.
Saddle is padded and comfortable.
Handle bars are also comfortable to grip and hold, bike is easy to maneuver.
Stabilisers are easy to attach and do the work well, just are a bit noisy on some surfaces as are made from plastic not rubber.
It isn’t the lightest bike, but also isn’t very heavy, just of a normal weight for its size.
I found it perfect for the 6 years old.
Well build and designed, reasonably priced, so I would happily recommend this bike for kids about 5-7years old, of course depends on their height.
Delivered in its own branded box
Inside you get *-

Instruction Manual & Assembly Tool.
This bike has been designed with the look of a BMX which is just what I was looking for , My son is a BMX rider who takes part in competitions and my grandson wants to be like dad .
This bike is really simple to set up ,following the instructions *insert the fork and handlebar, fold the pedals down until they click in place, insert seat and adjust the brakes . Adjusting the brakes was a bit fiddly however I managed to complete the entire assembly in less than 15 minutes . Both the handle bars and seat are height adjustable which will allow my GS to grow with the bike .
The included stabalizers are a great addition being able to remove them as GS skills advance means he won’t require a new bike as he grows .
Fully assembled the bike weighs 10 kg which isnt light , but the quality of the steel frame is the reason for this . It’s not going to crumple with impacts .
I’ve never heard of the Huffy brand before , I am impressed with quality of construction and would definitely recommend this particular BMX styled bike .
The price is on par with other children’s bikes of similar styles . I think 120 is excellent value for money .
This is a well known brand in bikes so I did have a certain level of expectations which this met. If I have any bug bare it was the instructions which I did find a little confusing although it does come partially assembled. The style is a nod to BMX which have become very popular again. It’s a very sturdy bike, one that will last them. Good strong stabilisers to learn to ride. A decent and fair price for this brand and quality. Even has a bell
Back in college, I used to work in a bike shop that sold low-mid price bicycles. I spent a lot of time assembling and repairing them. Lots of times, lower-end bikes had lots of issues: bent parts, untrue wheels, misaligned brakes, etc. I had never heard of the Royal Baby brand before, but after reading other reviews, I decided to get one for my eight year old son. Of course, when it arrived, I gave it my usual thorough walkthrough. Initially, I noticed that the parts seemed to be good quality. Welds were solid and the finish was perfect.
Assembly was just like any other bicycle: pedals, handlebars, seat, accessories. All parts lined up perfectly on the first try. No fighting, no twisting and pulling, none of that. It also comes with some cheap tools to help with assembly, so you don’t have to worry about finding a pedal wrench, or the right size metric allen. Once together, I started to look at the mechanics. Tires were very true. There was no noticeable wobble to them, which was abnormal for bikes in the $100-150 range. The brakes were adjusted perfectly. They were centered on the rim and had the perfect amount of pull.
Overall, it seems like a quality bike for the price and I am pleased with the purchase.
This Huffy Moto X Boys Bike needs a little assembly out of the box. I had a few problems getting the bike into shape. Firstly, I was having trouble getting the handlebars to pop into place until I realised that the rubber O ring needs removing and is only there for packing (see picture). Secondly, I couldn’t fix the saddle on until I found a bolt, washer and nut had dropped into the bottom of the packing box. Thirdly, I couldn’t get the rear brake to work and had to adjust it quite a lot to finally get it to work efficiently. Fourthly, both tyres were flat and needed inflating. After all that I decided to go over the whole bike and make sure everything is tight, secure and adjusted properly before I let my grandson get on it.
Having finally got the bike finished, it’s actually a really good looking and very robust little bike that I’m very pleased with. It has clip-on stabilisers that can be removed. It has a little bell, one of the sort where you have to flick the button for it to ring. The frame and tyres are all nice and chunky. The only thing I’m not sure about is whether to leave the MotoX sign which is attached to the front of the handlebars with cable ties. The reason is, there is foam along the handlebars to reduce impact if your child hits his head on it but the MotoX sign, which is quite hard plastic, sticks up above the foam (see picture). Overall though, this is a great looking and very robust little bike.
his is a very well made, sturdy kids bike. Huffy are a very reputable US brand with UK distribution so easy to contact if you need to for any reason. Not likely that you will need to though. I approached this with a little trepidation based on memories of attempting to assemble kids bikes a fair few year ago. I needednt have worried – this is very easy to assemble
The BMX style design and the paint work make the bike look really sporty – perfect for a 5 year old boy who will have lots of fun with this. The bike comes with stabilisers for those still learning to ride.
The bike is a little heavier than I expected, but I am comforted that it is strong and well made.
