I needed more cut capacity, but have a small workshop so didn’t want a standard chopsaw that is as deep as it is wide , the design of this saw has the sliding bars mounted forward allowing a much more compact footprint , this is the cheapest saw of this design that I could afford ,I would have loved a Festool , Makita Dewalt or Bosch but the 1000+ price tag for a something that cuts wood !!!!!. There was no problem with accuracy out of the box ! It is noisy , the dust collection is pretty non existent , I changed the stock blade for a higher tooth count , I don’t use the laser I just cut to my mark carefully , I am extremely happy with this saw , yes I would encourage you to buy this saw , well worth i

I have all the tools under the sun and tried all brands. This is a high end product. Saves me so much time cutting wood. Very easy to set up . Love the stroke and the laser. Cuts square all the time. Hyundai has taken top spot for power tool brands for me based on this purchase. 2nd is makita third is dewalt 3rd is ryobi 4th is black and decker 5th is draper 6th is Clark.

When this first arrived and I saw it was 2000 watt and I wanted a 1500. So I was going to return it .but there was nowhere I could print the barr code so they couldn’t pick it up. After 2 days still in the box I opened it.I am 63 and managed to lift it onto a table . Do read the overall set up in the booklet . I did not have to adjust anything it was already set up plugged in and cut some wood slate’s for my airing cupboard perfect the sawdust wasn’t to bad either it looks great glad i didn’t retu

I was deciding between this and an Evolution one for the longest time. Decided on the Hyundai because the base is machined out of metal rather than plastic, so it should be more durable.

I’ve been lucky with the saw, mine came accurately setup, but there are screws to adjust if things are not square.

It does have a trench cut facility that is not advertised which was a big bonus. That was one of the things that I thought was missing that was putting me off buying it straightaway.

Laser level gets clogged up easily as other reviewers have mentioned. This is because the lens of the laser is inset and saw dust gathers in the hole. Putting some clear tape over the laser stops it clogging up.

The blade that the saw comes with cuts a bit rough, but I knew that already so I also ordered a multi material TCT blade at the same time.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAfter a day’s use and setup I can say I’m very pleased with this so far. Out of the box the saw is almost ready to use needing only the addition of the small support rails to each side, the dust bag and the timber clamp/hold down (I’m not using this generally as it gets more in the way). The quality of the finish is very good, both for the painted alloy castings that make up the base and frame and the plastic mouldings for the handle and motor housing. It’s a professional looking finish which bodes well to the care taken with production – something one might expect from a Korean design/manufacture even though this is made in PRC (My Korean-made table saw from 1983 is still going strong..)
In use performs well, but because this is a powerful machine it is quite loud – if I was using it for repetitive, continuous work, earplugs would be order of the day. Smooth operation of the plunge and slide and stable in my mitre saw stand.
Accuracy – contrary to another review here, the angular orientation of the rail-head and saw can be adjusted with respect to the adjustable base. The saw rail mount is attached with 4 heavy duty hex bolts to the base (for which the key is supplied) and there is probably a 2-3 degree amount of play once these bolts are loosened off. It was enough for me to correct the 1-2 degrees out of true that was the arrival condition – that could have happened in shipping halfway round the world… Once set up accurately the laser aligns well and the saw seems to make repeat cuts with good accuracy.
The base angle is easy to adjust and locks well with a screw handle when out of the detents. I’m using it with a vac and it’s OK for dust collection, but there’s still a bit that misses the collector.
At this point, I’m a happy bunny – my one minor gripe is what possible idea can be behind shipping it with a 24-tooth TCT blade that is more suited to ripping than cross-cut. I’ve replaced that with an 80T blade for cutting flooring laminate (easy cuts, no chipping) and will add a 40-60T blade for general work – much cleaner cuts and less stress for the saw.
Hope this experience continues as the work progresses.

The first one most important is laser- although it is extremely useful it gets clogged up with dust easily and you cant see the laser anymore – need to be addressed by cleaning and manufacturer could have a look at changing the design a little bit so the dust wont block the beam I would just place something in front of it that don’t chance direction of the beam and that would do it, I would address as well how easy it comes loose as when it happen in the middle of work you don’t know but cut line have moved and you end up with wrong cut. A little thread lock would do the job. That would be one. The second issue is dust bag, mine is crooked and it catches the rail. That would be all.
Now to the positives – despite those issues that I will figure out over winter time and fix I have none other.
    This is perfect tool.
I would not change it now.
I could not be happier with it.
The dust collection is superior to others I think as despite not being connected to any vacuum system I have barely any dust to clean up. Almost all is being cached by the bag only. This is why the laser issue is annoying as it catches almost all dust and the one that don’t get sucked in block the laser – lol
May be when connected to extraction / collection system this is not an issue at all.
This cuts like a butter and produces nice smooth cut.
All that is mentioned in its description is accurate and I would suggest you chouse this over other unless you are willing to spend lots more.
    Hope that helps someone.
