Upgrade from the Jabra 510. Sound quality is considerably better than the 510. Genuine ‘plug and play’. Instantly recogised by laptop and automatically configured for use without me needing to do anything.

I used the USB connection to my work laptop and it worked out of the box with current MSTeams and Windows 10 20H2. Feedback from others that the audio quality is good. The “call” functionality got a little confused as it would use Skype for Business, but not something I consider a problem (it’s missing a keypad anyway, and is still a very convenient way to answer calls from Skype for Business, while still having conference calls with MSTeams).

I’ve got a Logitech video sound bar in our open-plan conference area at work. I forget the model but it’s got a large following camera and long soundbar-style speakers either side.

This wasn’t good enough with a TV for a room of 5-6 people even. The receiver at the other end heard muffled and overlapping garbled sounds – it just didn’t work at all and I was dreading hybrid video calls.

I bought TWO of these and placed them flat on our conference table.

Not only did it sound like the person on Teams at the other end was sat with us (and we had to turn the volume down) but he also could hear each and every person in the 12-person workshop day.

I used battery for them all day. And they pair up simply.

I was ready to buy one or two of the larger model but this has worked superbly.

Even having a zip-up carry case is nice.

    Really recommended

My wife uses this Jabra speaker phone for streaming music while she works. It’s easy to connect to her phone via Bluetooth and the sound quality is hugely improved, when compared to the feeble amplifier and speakers of even a current gen phone.

This speaker has a rear stand and sits upright on the desk. It is compact so doesn’t take up a lot of room (sits comfortably below the monitor). The buttons to control it are easy to find and respond well.

This Jabra speaker might be a bit on the expensive side for some but if it’s within your price range and you’re in the market for a compact speaker for your desk, this could well fit the bill.

Go this as I was fed up with headphones and really pleased I did. The audio out is great and no complaints from people about my audio. Nice to be able to use it to mute/unmute myself and adjust the volume.
Haven’t managed to use the Teams button to receive/hang up calls, but not fussed about that really.
Does seem a lot of cash to splash out, but if you are spending a lot of time on calls then its worth it, or get the 510 which is also good and half the price.

This is really a speaker for a phone or video call and not a general music speaker and it is with voice that this really shines.

I generally use it connected via USB, where it is pretty much plug and play and has been in a variety of operating systems.

Easy to use, it makes video calls for work and leisure so much easier and less strain.

It’s not the cheapest piece of kit, but you only need to buy something like this once of its of this high standard.

    Really good sound quality

    Worked with no teething problems.

I used it with a fairly old laptop and did wonder if a new device would struggle with this but there were no problems.

Due to new working measures in work, most of our meetings our now remote and people working from home link in. Having the ability to use the speakers together enables them to be placed anywhere in a large room. The sound quality and mic is fantastic. A great purchase and would highly recommend them. Great value for money, easily carried and clear instruction on how to use.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Users*

I really liked the this product, apart from one issue which is that there is a constant low level hissing sound when on USB connection (not a problem when running through the BT dongle). Only noticeable in a quiet room, but once you start hearing it, it’s hard to ignore. Discussed with Jabra Support who advised to return it, and I hear a firmware fix may be coming at some point.

The sound quality for speech was great, slightly disappointing for music. Perhaps I had my hopes raised by some online reviews. To be clear, it’s not bad and probably better than most speaker phones but don’t expect it to sound like a good quality dedicated speaker.

If the hissing sound can be fixed in firmware in future I will buy it again as I did like the product – nice design, very smooth connection to Zoom and Teams and good sound quality for speech.

**Edit – April 2021 the latest firmware fixes the hissing issue. I have re-purchased & upgraded to 5 stars. Although there are better speakers out there for music, what I like is that it is good enough to play music on your desk then switch seamlessly to take calls without having the clutter of 2 speakers.

I have a pair of Jabra Elite 85h headphones, and very good they are too. The same company also makes a variety of speaker phones. The Speak 750 will be a boon to all those now forced to work from home for the duration. Though it can be linked via Bluetooth, I’ve never been certain about that system, so prefer a wired connection but either way will give clear results.

If you only ever speak to one person, this probably isn’t for you but if you have regular conference calls, this will be just for you, as everyone can be heard clearly by everyone else. Though you can also play music through this, I wouldn’t recommend it. If it’s important to you, it’s also aesthetically pleasing, but I still think these items are very expensive for what they are.

It’s pointless me going into great detail about this speaker as there’s already so many reviews.

Well, now we are all WFH heroes, devices like this are a godsend. With its seamless integration with MS Teams, its effortless plug and play attributes, excellent sound quality – this device is a winner.

I have no need to use BlueTooth, I leave it plugged into USB all the time.

On the front face edge are controls for on/off, mute, volume, plus call accept/reject each with status lights.

After a few months of headphones, this has changed my home-office experience totally. I’m free to wander around during a call! The quality of speaker and microphone is excellent.

    Totally recommended.

This has great audio, and is truly plug and play- it is also very elegant and will not grab a lot of space. Controls are placed round the edges of the device and various lights indicate what is happening via the on/off, accept call, mute and so on. I personally hate headphones and mikes for calls, and this gives you something rather more relaxed and yet business-like. If you are an executive on call, its better not to look like the just joined tech bod from IT. Bluetooth has improved so much over the years, pairing with this was painless. Nice piece of kit.

This is an impressive product which really does bring a level of sound clarity that you cannot get through internal speakers. The experience of lockdown for those who have worked from home has been one of a revolution where Zoom, Teams, Webex etc has become office essentials as familiar as the laptop or phone. Not all connections are brilliant but the Jabra Speak phone does significantly improve the sound from bad connections. As for connecting to your own devices, nothing could be simpler. this done simply by using a USB port or connecting to Bluetooth. It becomes such a familiar feature that I have also used it to play music through. Ok it’s not a Bose but it perfectly functional. I would also say that it transformed quiz night in lockdown. No more 3 or 4 people huddling around a laptop trying to be heard the Jabra speaker can be placed in a central spot and all the voices are picked up. It comes at a price but it is a quality product.

This came in really handy over lockdown with meetings and my morning scrum calls. It’s certified for Microsoft teams, but I used it with Webex and Zoom too.

Its connects directly to your laptop or computer by USB or wirelessly and works flawlessly.

Now, apart from the performance this just looks amazing. It’s so beautiful looking I left it as part of my desk setup even when I am not using it. Its cool black and silver with nice LEDs, I just love it. The battery life is excellent, I charge it every few days but I have not yet run out of battery.

The great thing is, you can also just use this as a Bluetooth speaker for phone calls and music. It’s very handy when needing to take notes while on the phone. I have not once been unable to understand what someone has said through the 750 NOR has someone not been able to hear me, despite me sitting far away at times.

For some, it might be a nice novelty to have at 200 Pounds, but if you have regular meetings with more than a few people, and need each one to be heard individually AND together, then I don’t see you needing any better than the Jabra.

    Total class.

First of all I need to tell you that I did not purchase this item but it was sent to me by Amazon in return for an unbiased and honest review.

Well packaged, good instructions, speaker has a padded zipped carry case.
Very easy to set up and used with quite a few different video conference providers, all with great success.
The speaker allows your conversation to flow naturally so two people can speak at the same time, conversations can overlap and it makes the whole experience much more enjoyable.
The whole design is very pleasing and well thought out, the padded zip carry case is lovely.
Batteries built in and charges by USB.
    Highly recommend.

    Update OCT 20
The more we use this the more we love it, can’t believe how great it is on Zoom calls as it doesn’t cut out any speakers so everyone can talk just as normal, we also have it linked onto our iPhones and use it for phone calls – we can hear everyone so clearly and we are heard loud and clear too. Such a quality item.

What a super bit of kit this is. The quality can be seen as soon as you take it out the box. The Jabra 750, come with a great Neoprene case, to keep it clean and scratch free when not in use. The device is very easy to set up, all you do is simply plug into your computer, with USB or connect via the Bluetooth dongle to your smartphone, tablet or headset and your ready to make and receive conference calls, or simply listen to music from the comfort of you own chair. The calls I have made and received have been of excellent quality, no lagging or drop outs. The 360 degree omnidirectional microphone, means everyone can hear and be heard. My conversation flows as it would in a face to face situation. My Jabra 750 has coped very well with six people in a room, with each person being heard clearly. The unit weighs in at 300gm and is fully charged in three hours, each charge will last approx. eleven hours. This is a super portable addition to any work place or home work station, therefore it’s 5* from me folks.

Generally connects an iPhone to Bluetooth well by pressing the Bluetooth button. In common with all Bluetooth applications, sometimes when attempting to reconnect after the phone has been away from the Jabra, pressing the Bluetooth button will prompt. On most occasions, the Jabra will connect to the phone straight away.

USB connection on Mac seamless. Jabra Direct connection suite available for Mac that allows you to control the device.

Tested using as an output over Bluetooth for a WhatsApp call-successful and good call quality for both parties.

Inbuilt USB cable is useful-no more looking around for a cable. Would have been nice to have a slot to hold the USB plug.

Useful to use in a teleconference. Microsoft Teams button allows you to bring Teams to the front. Having the touch sensitive buttons easily allows you to control volume, mute-especially useful. No complaints from anyone that they couldn’t hear me.

Regarding playing music, not the best speaker for playing music but better than nothing. Other speakers are more suitable for portable music.

For for making calls and that’s what this device is designed for, it is an excellent, compact easy to use device.
Allows you to make a smartphone call while on a Teams meeting, but cuts the audio to Teams and connects to the smartphone.

Jabra Direct app will be discontinued from 31/12/20, but this isn’t really necessary to use the unit with a Mac. They will, however, continue to support the PC version.

I couldn’t find any settings for adjusting sound quality in either the Windows or Mac versions of the Jabra Direct application.

This makes a good travel speaker, though naturally, the sound quality doesn’t match that of a high-end bluetooth speaker of a similar price. However, for an all in one device that allows audio-conferencing, phone/tablet connections as well as the ability to listen to music, it is a good, multi-functional, lightweight device. I will probably take this with me when travelling rather than a more high-end bluetooth speaker.

Battery life was not tested due to normally being connected via USB, but based on the manufacturer’s otherwise correct specifications, I have no reason to doubt the claim that it will last for 15 hours, subject to use conditions.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great All Round Device

I’ve been toying with getting a conference speaker for a number of years, as I find I have lots of long meetings where a headset gets too uncomfortable. As I’ve got an office at home, having a “skwawk box” is both convenient and helps to let others in the house know I’m on a call (as they can hear it). But I’d been put off by either the price or the apparent lack of quality of all the devices I looked at. So when this appeared on the Vine programme, I jumped at it.

First impressions are, this is a really well made bit of kit. It’s smooth and tactile, lightweight but sturdy. The rear of the device has a stand which seems too flimsy, but is really quite sturdy, and there are recesses for the Bluetooth adapter and the charger cable. The whole thing sits in its own neoprene case, so you can take it with you. On the front is the speaker, in a dark grey metallic finish which looks smart, and is surrounded by a ring which contains the touch-sensitive controls and information LEDs. The whole item has a premium look and feel to it. The controls will let you change the speaker volume, answer and hang up calls, put it into Bluetooth pairing mode, display the battery charging status and control Microsoft Teams (more on this later). Each touch gives a reassuring clicking sound as confirmation. There is a ring of LEDs which will display the volume level when you change it, and the volume of the click sound changes accordingly.

The instructions talk about connecting the device using either the adapter or your device’s own Bluetooth connection, both of which work flawlessly. But what they don’t mention is that you can also use the charger cable to connect it as well. This also worked seamlessly, the device installing without issue on my Windows 10 laptop and desktop. This has the added advantage that the speaker won’t run out of power mid conference.

It claims to be Microsoft Teams certified, and I can confirm this is absolutely true. One of the controls on the device is the Teams logo, which, when pressed, fires up the Teams app for you. You can then control calls on Teams using the device itself, such as answering incoming calls.

As for sound quality, there’s no complaints there, either. The sound coming from it is clear and precise. I tested it with music playback, which it doesn’t do very well, but then it isn’t designed with this in mind. The microphone is also sensitive enough that you can be heard by the other parties on the call clearly, even when you’re not sat directly in front of it.

Overall, I’m really pleased and very impressed with this device and it’s going to get used a lot. However, I’m not sure how Jabra can justify such a high price tag for it, no matter how beautifully made it is: it is over 250 for what is essentially a speaker, a microphone and a fancy control interface. If it were half the price, I could get behind it, but at this price, it loses a star.

This conference call speaker comes in a nice little pouch to protect it, handy when travelling. We’ve been using this quite a bit during lockdown and my son has also found this very useful whilst talking to friends and teachers whilst doing schoolwork. The sound is really clear and can be heard from a distance. It’s also good for music although not much of a base. Very easy to connect via Bluetooth.

I did not think this would be so good.
I was offered this to review and as I have been having many Zoom and Team meetings I thought I would give it a try.
The sound is wonderful and the volume is super.
Not only does it work with the meetings programmes but it work with You Tube and BBC sounds and anything the laptop speakers would be connected too.
Nothing to do to set it up – just plug and play so to speak.

First of all, the sound quality of this unit is most surprising. I believe it has been designed mainly for voice/conference calls, but already I have found that music sounds great too. With conference calls becoming more and more a part of everyday life, especially during this pandemic, units like these will become the norm and as such you need a starting point, as far as quality is concerned. To say this unit does it all maybe an overstatement, but believe me it comes close.

The sound quality plus its versatility makes this one special baby. Add to the fact that you can ‘connect’ (wirelessly of course) two units together to cover large meetings, makes this a force to be reckoned with.

For humble little me, I am blown away and can only give it my highest praise – thus 5 stars.

This is a very impressive piece of equipment. It looks good. It is very easy to set up and to use. The sound quality is so so much better than you get from your tablet or laptop. It is truly excellent for speech. It is a very natural sound for speech. For music, the sound is good and more than adequate but perhaps not the standard most music lovers would want for long listens. However, definitely better than the laptop speakers. This is really made and designed for video and conference calls and for that it really excels. In this day and age with much more use of Zoom or Team for video calls, this is perfect. No hesitation in recommending.

I don’t feel qualified to comment on the technical specifications of the Jabra Speak 750 Speaker Phone. However, I can say that it more than met my expectations, which were based on what I had read on Jabra’s website.

Bluetooth connectivity is excellent. I was able to connect instantly and simply to wide range of devices, including mobile phones, iPods, tablets, laptops and desktop computers. I was also able to link my old Acer (non Bluetooth) notebook using the supplied Bluetooth Adapter. As this adapter was already paired with the speaker, it was just a matter of plugging it into the notebook and switching on the speaker. The speaker can also be connected to devices with USB ports via the attached cable, but this limits device/speaker separation to 1 metre.
Sound quality of both microphone and speaker is exceptional. The duplex audio feature makes phone conversations seem more natural, particularly when used in a group setting such as a meeting or family group chat. Conversation is clear and without any distortion or feedback. The speaker phone seems to work well in a variety of communication platforms. However, it did seem to accentuate the echoing that sometimes occurs in WhatsApp calls.

When used only as a speaker, the sound is superior without distortion, even at maximum volume. The capability to wirelessly link two Jabra speakers for stereo sound is handy, if somewhat prohibitive for the average user, given the cost of each unit.

Using the device is fairly intuitive. However, some of the button functions can only be found by reading the User Manual. This is not supplied with the unit, but can be easily found on Jabra’s website.

I was extremely impressed with the Jabra Speak 750 Speaker Phone from the moment I removed it from the packaging. It is approximately 130mm in diameter and 35mm in height and came with a soft pouch, enabling it to be easily transported to different locations.

However, there a couple of points I would like to make. They are observations, rather than criticisms, regarding the permanently attached USB cable. As can be seen from the attached photographs, the cable emerges from the body of the unit at 90 degrees and is immediately kinked at a right angle. This is so that it can be wound, potentially in either direction, around the unit and be contained in the channel provided. It is then is held in place by the USB plug being clipped into the edge of the channel. In my opinion this arrangement spoils the otherwise elegant lines of the unit, particularly in view of the way the stand and Bluetooth adapter have been incorporated into the base.

What concerns me more is how the wire will stand up to being repeatedly wound and unwound. I appreciate that being permanently attached prevents the cable being mislaid. If that is the main consideration, perhaps the cable should emerge from the unit at a shallow angle, which would prevent any kinking and allow it only to be wound in one direction. This would, however, not solve the problem of aesthetics. A better solution would be to connect the cable using a Mini USB port and perhaps add a mesh pocket in the protective case, to remind the user to stow the cable after use. Worst case scenario, a lost recharging cable can be replaced cheaply and quickly. A broken permanently attached cable would entail costly repairs or possible replacement of the whole unit. Additionally, the use of a Mini USB port and longer cables would allow greater device / speaker separation where Bluetooth connection is not possible.

These are only my personal concerns, that are possibly unfounded and it is for that reason that have still given this otherwise excellent product a five star rating.

I’ve got this speaker phone for my daily meeting for work, it’s great, small and portable (comes with a pouch) you can connect it via USB to the computer, or bluetooth on both computer and phone(!!!). I’ve used it for few conference calls and the audio quality is amazing, it’s loud, clear, and cancel all the noise that usually annoys in the meetings.
By mistake (I swear I didn’t know) I started to play some music on youtube and forgot that the speaker was selected, the music came out of the speaker phone and it was great, great bass, great mid and high tones, I was happily impressed! Great product and highly suggested if you need not only a normal speaker, but even something great for online meetings or phone calls

With the current Covid19 restrictions still around us – many of us are still working from home and are likley having a lot more of our regular communications online. If you are using MS Teams, GotoMeeting, Zoom or Skype this may be something to consider.
I’ve used Jabra 510 before so good to compare that with the 750.
The speakerphone arrives in a protective zipped neoprene pouch and can be used very effectively using either the integrated USB lead – which also acts as a charging lead for the device. If you are using it “disconnected” via the bluetooth USB dongle (this is conveniently stored in the back of the device and simply pops out) but it will need charging first via the USB anyway.
Simply plug in the attached cable to a USB port on your laptop & Windows 10 setup is automatic.
If you are only using bluetooth on your tablet then you will need to charge the speakerphone up first and connect as normal through bluetooth devices on your tablet.
Another feature is the pop out stand if you want to use this standing up which again fold flat into the base of the unit.
If you are going wireless you do not actually need to use the bluetooth usb dongle if your laptop, tablet or PC has a bluetooth adapter – you can connect directly – but using the supplied dongle will increase the range from 10 metres to 30 metres.
The immediate benefits of using one of these devices is that the sound quality is massively better compared to most PC, Laptop or tablet speakers – and the microphone sensitivity is 360 degress.
We have used this positioned in the centre of a room on a family / friends quiz night during the CV19 lockdowns, sound quality and sound pickup were excellent anywhere in the room.
You can control volume directly from the speakerphone or from the normal in call displays on your laptop.
I also like the ability to mute directly from the speakerphone itself (very top softkey button) and also like that when on mute all the speakerphone volume indicators turn red.
The Jabra also acts as a “regular” bluetooth speaker – so is equally at home playing music or video soundtracks from your laptop or tablet.
All in all a very capable device, sound is crystal clear on calls, its not a low cost option but it delivers exactly what it sets out to.

What distinguishes this model from its nearest neighbour the Speak 710 is it claim to better sound for music and multimedia. Look for the all-important information on this and you have to dig deep. The speaker is mono but can be made stereo if you link in a second Speak 750 unit. It is only 2 watts rms so it does not blow you out of the room for volume and the frequency range is 150Hz to 20khz in music mode when linked with the included bluetooth adaptor or 150Hz to 7 Mhz in USB or Bluetooth which means I was underwhelmed by the sound quality; no bass response at all as bass starts at 250Hz so there are many frequencies missing. Linking with the bluetooth adaptor supplied does give better quality as it is treated as a sound card while connecting with inbuilt bluetooth means it is treated as a communication device. It loses one star because of this.

Bluetooth is the old 4.2 not the latest 5 but is adequate. You can pair it with eight devices and have two of those connected at the same time. USB is only version 2 not the latest 3.2 but again is adequate and is how the unit is recharged. Considering this is a 2020 release, the connectivity is out of date.

I joined Jabra online to get software and received four identical emails in response. The software is basic but it does help in changing the orientation of the device from Microsoft Teams and to Zoom instead which is my preference. It also informed me that I had the latest firmware but would have updated it had it been required.
Window 10 sees it as a microphone and a speaker so you can direct software to use these if you want to. Skype, Google Hangouts, Zoom, Jabber, webex, goto meeting, Facebook messenger etc will all happily use this.

It is easy to setup, the controls are all sensible and touch sensitive. As a conferencing device it works well. It is very portable, does not have to be plugged into anything so no loose cables lying around. A small room, with six people sat round a table and this in the middle, is where it excels. Two way conversations are easy and natural. Video on a big screen and you have yourself a good meeting remotely.

There is an annoying American female voice guidance which tells me I am connected to my smart phone when starting up when in fact it is my laptop that is connected. Jabra should replace this with the word “device”. Fortunately, an 8 second touch of the close call button switches this off. A manual can be found on the Jabra website as is a data sheet for the more technical details.

I was disappointed with this device. At the price point of 227 at the time of writing, it should have been much better.

Update…. I found another use for this speaker. When travelling, how often do you not quite hear what the SatNav / Mpas App said? Did she say turn left at the junction or turn right? There are times when the instructions are misheard due to kids making too much noise, the radio / music being too loud etc. and it results in a lengthy detour or being asked to do a U-turn where it is impossible to do so. Well, this speaker is a solution. Connected to your Smart Phone’s Maps app it gives perfectly laudible and clear instructions that can’t be misheard. I took a 170mile round trip yesterday and used this speaker for the outward part of the trip (why is it that people can’t find the way to somewhere but always know the best route route back home?). It worked perfect, with clear audio and at least six calls during the trip. So, it works well with mapping apps and works great for taking “hands free” calls.

Within minutes of this speaker arriving, I had it connected to my PC via USB and my Sony Xperia1 Smartphone. The sound when watching a video clip was perfectly clear and both of the phone calls I made were also clear with no interference from background noise.

The first call was to a landline and the audio was almost perfect (some would want perfection even though perfection is based on an individual’s own assumption and can never be achieved) and the 2nd call was to a mobile phone.

Weirdly, the 2nd call was to a Samsung phone and Samsung phones are the worst phones for transmitting all the background noise over and above the voice of the person speaking.

Through this Jabra speaker the voice quality was as close to perfect as one could get. There was no problem at all with understanding what was being said etc. All in all, based on the initial use and the reputation of Jabra (still have a Jabra bluetooth ear piece after eight years or even longer) I can recommend this speaker for these reasons; 1) Quality of build is very good, 2) set up is so simple that even those that are not tech savvy should be able to manage it within a few short minutes, 3) the quality of the audio input and output is excellent and 4) background noise limitation is excellent, top notch, superb, wicked, cool…..

Jabra have a great reputation for headsets and this speaker only confirms to me that Jabra quality and price continues to produce great value for money. However, there is one negative thing I can comment about this product and that is the battery charging. Like the Jabra headsets, charging is slow. However, slow battery charging is not a problem as the speaker can connect to any USB port. PC / laptop USB ports have such low power when it comes to charging accessories etc. soy advice is that users should try to connect the speaker to USB ports other than PCs / laptops such as mobile phone chargers and USB ports attached to power sockets. Buy this speaker and you won’t regret it as it is the best speaker I have used and is far superior to the likes of Amazon’s Alexa speakers and Google’s Home Speakers. It is really a great product and well designed for numerous purposes .

Although it’s the description does tend to emphasise the use with Microsoft teams, why waste such a good speaker on only that when it is superior to the built in speakers of monitors and the speakers of laptops. It can be used for watching videos, listening to music, making personal phone calls etc.

    Build quality – Excellent
    Appearance – Excellent
    Audio Quality – Excellent
Ease of Use – Very Easy
Value for Money – Very Good
    Recommended – Definitely

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is intended for calls and small conference usage. It is a device that has been specifically designed for such and I wouldn’t recommend buying it for any other sole purpose. Yes, it can play music, yes, it can be used as a bluetooth speaker. Would I pay 200 for this to only use as a bluetooth speaker? No. But it’s a nice addition if you happen to have one anyway!

What it has been designed for however, it does an amazing job of. It’s a super small device, I’ve included a picture next to my mouse to see its size. It’s very intuitive to use, you’ve got your standard on/off button. You’ve got a + and – for volume control… There are LED lights going round the whole device that switch on and off depending on volume level, pretty cool!

There’s also accept call and reject call buttons. A mute button, a bluetooth pairing button, and a battery button which I haven’t yet figured out what it does. The real showstopper for this device is that it’s been specifically designed for Microsoft Teams usage with a dedicated Teams button on it.

This device has a dedicated Microsoft Teams button and another LED light next to it. The Teams button lights up purple like the Teams logo, and the other LED light flashes white when you have notifications. You can press the Teams button to join meetings, see your schedule, and other thing such as voicemails and missed calls.

It’s surprisingly easy to setup, you can’t go wrong! You can either use the built in USB cable that wraps around it to connect to a computer, and it sets it upself – plug and play! The only thing you might need to do is change your settings to set the microphone and speaker to the Jabra device. Other than that, you’re ready to go! Alternatively, you can use the bluetooth adapter which is stored underneath the device to connect to a device to give it a strong bluetooth connection. I should add that you don’t need to use the adapter if your laptop/phone already has bluetooth built in, you can just immediately connect. However, the manufacturer states that the connection distance for phones/tablets is 10m, while for its own bluetooth adapter is 30m – You get a much stronger connection with their USB bluetooth adapter. This might also extend to laptops/computers, therefore I recommend using the adapter as opposed to your inbuilt bluetooth if you definitely can’t use the USB cable.

It takes 3 hours to fully charge this device and it has 11 hours of battery life. Perfect for a full day of back to back calls. It charges while plugged into your computer so you don’t ever need to worry about it dying on you if you have it plugged in. It only weighs 301g, is tiny for what it is, and comes in a nice carrying pouch so it’s super portable!

Although this device has been specifically designed for Microsoft Teams, i.e giving further functionality for Teams users, it is definitely fully compatible with any and all conference/video call software! Very simply put, it’s just a 2 in 1 speaker and microphone so works with anything.

The duplex nature of it is amazing and conversation feels very natural, you can talk over each other all you like! The sound quality seems to have been tweaked towards providing voice clarity, as voices sound superb on this and you can make everything out that is being said. Music sounds ok, but I wouldn’t use this instead of any current speaker system you have. The microphone quality is also fantastic and has clearly been tweaked for voices. I’ve included a short video whereby I have played a BBC video from my phone so you can see how good the microphone on this thing is. Please note that this is not a natural voice, it is being produced from my measly phone speaker. The microphone quality when picking up natural human voice is better than what’s in the video, but I like to remain fairly anonymous online and so haven’t used my real voice. Trust me, you will not be disappointed with the microphone.

Overall, this is a fantastic and very professional looking device, I would highly recommend it to anyone who has a lot of important calls and wants to make sure they are clearly heard, and can clearly hear everything.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic at what it does!
