Linked this with my phone. Great quality even on lower bit rate tunes. Bass is crisp and not overblown. Had the sony 500 before this, the jbl beats the Sony comfortably. Good price too. First jbl product I’ve bought tbh but it’s impressive and I’ll probably buy more
Great loud speaker easy to connect with Bluetooth except won’t connect with certain Bluetooth devices such as sky Q box which is Bluetooth apart from that it’s great portable battery life is good lights are good.
Brilliant sound! That’s what I noticed immediately. No set up procedure required. Take out of box, plug in, connect to a source player, which can be mp3_ personal CD player or a hifi unit. The sound is so crisp and bass is strong even without enhancement. Strength of bass had some of my wall ornaments rattling! Light effects are set precisely to rhythm of the music.. I have not tried the Bluetooth facility but there is a button that by all accounts allow easy syncing. The battery is strong and I had a few days worth of usage, although as some reviewers have mentioned the volume is dampened and will not reach decibels achieved when plugged into mains. The instructions are basic but I believe most people will know what to do to start using the speaker. Was not sure about the JBL brand but apparently they specialise in speaker units. And the price is so competitive considering the quality of the product. This speaker is also very robust but not overly heavy so that most people will be able to move it from one location to another. Thanks JBL for developing and putting this product to market. Well appreciated
I bought it on Amazon Day for 270ish which I thought is a good price but comparing the sound quality with my Zeppelin Air which is a 12 year old speaker it did even came close to it. Don’t get me wrong it doesn’t sound bad at all and the bass it’s thumpy but not for my taste.
This is a brilliant speaker and is perfect for its intended use. The speaker has great bass and volume for summer parties and the light show and ability to use it with a microphone make it a perfect all rounder party addition.
The battery life is great, and sound quality and bass is insane. But the only think i would want is slightly less weight, as it is a good speaker but slightly inconvenient to carry around if you are getting it from the car to the rugby pitch. But i got it for a nice discount so im not complaining. And also the lights are great for inside and in late night.
Well I upgraded from a 40w boom box to this jbl partybox 110 and straight out of the box I was well impressed with it, really well made, love the lights playing with rhythm of the music and sounds really good, now I can hear aswell as feel the music! Excellent product, all my friends say how great it looks and sounds
Having the volume button illuminating would be better and also the ability to sync the sound to your tv would help, sometimes a slight delay.
I asked a question from other purchasers before I placed my order. I wanted to know if it would work with my tv and karaoke unit via the aux. I understood it needed the correct wires to/from the speaker (which I already had from my previous speaker). So
My speaker box came today and setting it up was a doddle. It sounds fabulous and it connects to my karaoke/my turntable for the northern soul vinyl lol) and the tv for lyrics (as well as Bluetooth of course. I love the lights and the sound. Party night in the planning!

It has great bass good for party’s and outdoor use
It’s a good speaker! Nice and clean sound, decent vocals, clear and full. Bags of relatively well tuned bass that goes quite deep for a speaker of this size. Well made considering it’s mostly plastic, pretty robust. A good size for shunting around rooms, garden, garage etc. Probably the better choice out of current market for this type of speaker and size. Good value for money compared to most. Good solid connection between the phone/tablet and a well featured app that offers control over the sound signature via a 3 band EQ and control over the lights. Good speaker for summer holidays, festivals and general excursions to wherever.

Battery is a big con. Sound is ok. Don’t expect to like a subwoofer.
Grate for garden party..
We have not used outside yet, but indoors the sound quality is excellent (although level 2 Bass setting is too deep for our needs). Battery life is strong, I’ve not timed it but with lights on and loud play it has gone for many hours (people are suggesting it will do 8 hours, it must be close).
The lights are more fluid than the 100 and useful to be able to change and adapt from the app.
Overall, excellent product and I’m sure we’ll buy a second to pair them up.
