Amazing quality. I bought this as a present for my husband and he loves it so much. I accidentally put it in a washing machine and still working without any issues
Bought these for my partner as a Christmas present and he loves them! Perfect for keeping football matches to himself in bed and loves the quality, overall functional ability and style. Would recommend
Very good battery life!
Things I don’t like: sometimes you take them out of the box and one of them don’t “wake up” just one connects to the phone so you have to put them back to the box and out again.
The noise they make to tell you they connected to a device is a bit annoying, too loud.
Something very good, I left them in my coat pocket and accidentally washed them I thought they were definitely dead and no! They still work! So probably not meant to be but they are kind of waterproof,I guess(?)
Used them on plane, flight was great cancelled out the noise of kids crying and being noisy on flight to and from Spain, a must for peace and quiet on flights.
It’s good sound quality bass and noice cancelling. Overall great one and value of money
They are a little bit low on bass even with the equaliser tweaks and build quality is little flimsy but at 45 over 200 plus , the trade offs are easy to swallow and they are more than satisfactory for my needs
Good and solid sound overall with equaliser on the mobile app. Excellent battery life.
Whilst the noise cancellation is not perfect it is a great feature.
Only quirk is that, by design, you can only pair it with one device at a time. It has its advantages too. Also, very long range when connected not dropping if you move to a different room. Solution, buy more than one, they are very good and comfortable.
They were very easy to set up, just turn on Bluetooth and it did it all.
I think for the money it would be hard to beat these earphones, even the expensive ones.
2. There should be bit more loudness…. Even if the volume is full, it doesn’t seem like
3. The silicone buds are not that comfy, I put on my old ones on it.
4. If you are using only one pair, noise cancellation will be turned off automatically and you can’t turn it on. There’s no point turning noise cancellation off in mono mode.
I used to buy the unbranded Bluetooth EarPods but decided to go with JBL after a few problems with some others.
The Bluetooth connection is lightning quick!
Great Bass and all round quality! The ambient feature is great switching between podcasts and music
Battery life is actually worrying how good the pods and the case are!
Well worth the little bit extra!
Until recently I’ve been using the JBL 200TWS. I got them for a very good price and have been happy with their sound, simplicity and reliabilty. The only thing they lack is ANC and unless you play them at painful levels they don’t block any background noise. ( I did manage to fit them with some Comply tips to improve passsive cancellation, but they won’t fit the charging case).
I’ve been looking at the 230NC since the price dropped but was wary of the number of reviews saying they were unreliable, so held out until the extended returns period started earlier this month.
Soundwise, they offer an improvement in a quiet setting but on the bus they sound much the same as the 200’s. Where they do offer a big improvement is in noise cancellation, with all but the most vocal of screaming babies being blocked. My only gripe about this is that it’s not easy to turn ANC on/off without the app.
They are also very bass heavy if you use the built-in EQ but I’ve now disabled it and use the flat setting in the Amazon music app which offers a more natural presentation.
I really hope they remain reliable, as they offer a big improvement for me when travelling and are also enjoyable to use at home.
Immediately after receiving the headphones, I downloaded the JBL app and received a software update which took about 10 minutes.
I’ve used the headphones during my daily commute and they work like a charm. This is the first pair of headphones I’ve owned that have ANC so I’ve got nothing to compare it to but they work great so far.
I can switch between the different modes within the app without issue.
The app tells you the charge on each bud. However, one thing I haven’t managed to get working or figure out is the battery life of the case. The help section says to leave the headphones plugged in and the lid open but this doesn’t work for me.
The app also lets you tweak the equaliser but I’ve left it on the default settings.
ANC headphones don’t need to be in the 3 figure territory and this is where JBL comes in.
Anyways, happy so far.
Comfortable, even after hours of use (as I discovered on a recent flight), brilliant battery life and the best sound quality out of the several alternatives I tested. Superior to Apple Air Pods in both build and comfort, a fraction of the price and, to my mind, much better looking.
The added benefit of having a case that charges your earphones on the go when not in use is superb and the case feels much more robust than other brands.
All-in-all, a strong contender to higher priced alternatives and delivering the same incredible build and sound quality I’ve come to expect from JBL.
Great for active lifestyles: travel, calls on the go and working out.
