Bought for my one year old. it’s perfect. Looks great, light to carry. Very fast delivery .
Good pram overall would recommend – bottom strap would be better padded and the hood isn’t that strong (but holds up a sun shade so does the trick) but it is cheap so does the job. Good height for my husband too.
Good enough – the only problem is the Liverpool logo :). Good for holidays – light and doesn’t take too much space (it folds flat).
So surprised how well made it is considering the price. More heavy duty than a typical umbrella stroller and can definitely hold the weight of a large toddle
Really easy to assemble, folds easily, and good to clean off. Exactly what it says on the box!
Very good value for money and light and easy to use
Very lightweight and easy to use. My son is really comfortable on this one. Very easy to fold too. Will definitely recommend. Great product. Worth money
Love this as a big red so made sure I got grandson to follow
With the red team from Merseyville closing in on a first league tile in three decades what better time to parade your baby around the Riviera in a Liverpool branded push chair? A sturdy push chair, all in red, with the Liverpool crest proudly displayed on it, even if the young ‘un turns out to be a Gooner or a Spud at least you will always have these times (take lots of photos to prove it). Come on the Red team and come on babies everywhere, you deserve better.
We were looking for a budget stroller/pushchair to replace our pram for our young son and the Joie Nitro did not disappoint.
The Joie Nitro features a fully reclinable seat, adjustable calf rest, a good sized storage bucket all for a budget price. You also get a smooth ride thanks to its all wheel suspension.
Everything on the Nitro is designed to be easy. The assembly out of the box was very easy and took no less than 10 minutes to assemble.
The Nitro is very easy to handle. Its foam handles are easy to reach, the Nitro performed well on pavements and even rough terrain and it is easy to manoeuvre and lightweight. The all wheel suspension and the well padded seat meant my son has a comfortable trip every time.
The Nitro is very lightweight at only 7.5kg so lifting it is easy. This is perfect for travelling and can be quickly folded and easily fits into our little car boot.
The Nitro can be reclined into 4 set positions with the lowest being the fully flat position. This is easily done with one hand using the lever on the rear of the Nitro. The foot brake is easy to operate. A big bonus for the Nitro is a buggy board can be attached for those with a baby and toddler.
The Nitro is a complete package and for it’s price is a bargain! Many of the features on this pushchair are only found on more premium models. It is also super lightweight which makes it very easy around town to use. Our only gripe is the rain cover is awkward to attach. Highly recommended for it’s versatility and ease of use, for a budget price range the Nitro cannot be beaten.
The stroller is a very sleek looking stroller, which is lightweight and robust. It is great for parents looking for a compact alternative to take on holiday. The design team at Joie has made an effort with this Nitro stroller and it shows.
It is comfortable and well padded. The seat unit reclines fully and very easily, thanks to a one-handed mechanism at the back. The calf support rest rises up and the soft fabric of the straps and chest pads meant my child looks secure and comfortable.
The steering was good also.
I was able to steer the stroller as well as hold my eldest daughters hand with ease, navigating around corners, curbs and steps was hardly a problem. Even over rougher, wet and uneven terrain, the all-wheel suspension and ergonomic handles made it all manageable.
Nitro’s foot-operated umbrella fold made the collapsing of the stroller quick and easy. The carry handle on the side also made for a thoughtful feature that allowed me to easily transport it into the car. When folded, the Nitro is pretty compact and easy to store away without taking up to much space.
Overall a very good travel stroller that does the basic manoeuvring and comfort well, because it is lightweight it is very good for travelling on holiday with. But I would be more cautious about using it for a newborn as it is lightweight, it does reassure you of its protective capabilities. I guess you win some and lose some.
Finally, the hood was also a problem, The hood is a bit too short and does not provide adequate protection from the sun. You may need to consider an additional buggy shade of the coming summer months or if you are considering a holiday at more sunny destinations.
I guess if you are a Liverpool Football Club fan then you will be excited to push your child around in this pushchair as well as happy to know that A portion of the proceeds of Joie and Liverpool Football Club co-branded products will go to the LFC Foundation SEN programme to help make amazing things happen in the lives of children and youth around the world.
Charity factor put aside, the pushchair is very light weight, however making it lightweight I have found some items have been reduced for weight saving has been taken too far. The chair itself is very flimsy, with a hammock type feel and lacks a solid feeling. Not sure what you do with your pushchair but other than lifting it out of the car, I don’t carry my pushchair too far so the weight is not that much of a factor in my selection process. However if weight is important to you then this is very light weight.
Easy assembly, just fit the wheels, that slide on and clip in place, did not read the instructions but found all actions very similar to most pushchairs. Just make sure the back wheels are the correct way around so you can put the brake on and the cable clips in place under the pram.
Lay back setting is near horizontal and adjustment is via a strap and clip so large range motion. Was able to release one handed but lifting up, both hands were needed.
Folding one handed was not easy, however opening one handed was very easy.
If you are not a LFC fan, the good news is the logo is not visible once you have your child in the pram.
Overall not bad for price, my daughter found it very comfortable (she gets excited over new prams), she was able to fall asleep when we went for a test drive (so result).
I would have liked the back of the seat to have a bit more stiffness but other than that great pram for the price and some of the money goes to a good cause.
