My first computer build and this worked with no problems at all

Used in my first PC build, really good DDR5 and looks great lit up. Only problem is that the software (Fury CTRL) is really awkward to use and sometimes it straight up doesn’t work.

Ottime memorie, pienamente compatibili con il sistema di overclock automatico di AMD. Unico difetto, ma credo sia tale solo per me, il sistema di illuminazione troppo “abbagliante”.
Fast entry level DDR5 ram with a lifetime warranty. The RGB is what it is, nice and shiny if you are into that sort of thing.

IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY INSTALLED “FURY CTRL”
1 – INSTALL “FURY CTRL” LAST (after installing all other drivers, windows patches, get windows to the latest version, install all proprietary apps, office, etc.).
2 – INSTALL “FURY CTRIL” WHILE LOGGED IN WITH AN ADMIN ACCOUNT, and INSTALL IT WITH THE ACCOUNT YOU LOG IN WITH THAT YOU WANT TO USE TO RUN “FURY CTRL”. For example, if this is a machine you share with your wife, use your account to install the app. Do not use your wife’s account.
HOW TO CLEANLY UNINSTALL AND START OVER
If you’ve already installed FURY CTRL and its not working, you’re going to have to jump through hoops to get a clean uninstall before starting over. The steps below worked for me. If you don’t know what a service is or whether or not your account is an admin, DO NOT TRY THIS!
1 – Uninstall the “FURY CTRL” software using the standard windows uninstall. Note that the uninstall does NOT actually remove the service (FuryContorller_Service) that silently manages the software in the background. This is the core issue with the uninstall of the tool. We’ll address that below.
2 – After the uninstall completes, reboot.
3 – Open a command prompt (CMD.EXE) using administrative privileges. If you don’t already know how to do this, right click on the desktop and select “New Shortcut”. Type in CMD.EXE and press enter. Press enter again to leave the shortcut named CMD.EXE”.
4 – Locate the new CMD.EXE shortcut on your desktop. Right click on CMD.EXE and select “Run as Administrator”. If you don’t see “Run as Administrator”, your account is NOT an administrator.
5 – Here’s where we address the rogue leftover services – we’re going to delete it. Type in “sc FuryContorller_Service delete” without the ” symbols and press enter. This deletes the service.
6 – Log back into the operating system USING THE ACCOUNT YOU INTEND TO LOGIN WITH MOST OFTEN.
7 – Reboot again.
8 – Make sure your operating system is current. Install all Windows OS patches. Install any missing drivers.
9 – Open up the Microsoft Store and reinstall FURY CTRL.
10 – You should now be able to open the FURY CTRL app without any issues. The first time it starts up it’ll take a minute to find the memory.
11 – Be sure to allow the FURY CTRL app to start with windows. If you didn’t select this at install, open the FURY CTRL app, select the gear icon in the upper right, and toggle “Startup” to On.
12 – If you’re still having problems, trying right clicking on the FURY CTRL app on your desktop and run it as administrator.

Schne RGB DDR5-RAM Riegel. Habe welche mit Optimierung auf AMD (Expo) gebraucht. Hochwertig in der Haptik, der Einbau war problemlos, auch das Expo-aktivieren im bios.
Dann die Sache mit dem RGB…eigentlich sollten die Teile Asus-aura kompatibel sein. Sie werden auch erkannt, aber viel mehr nicht. In der Grundeinstellung sind sie viel zu hell und stechen einem in die Augen.
Daher habe ich auf Windows11 die extra App fr Fury herunterladen, eine derart verbuggte Software habe ich schon lange nicht mehr gesehen. Dort kann man die Riegel in den dunkleren Dimm-modus stellen. Leider interessiert die Riegel aber nicht, was man in der App einstellt. Habe viel herumprobiert, letzlich hab ich sie doch ber Asus-Aura konfiguriert. Zwar viel zu hell, aber immerhin ohne der nervigen Regenbogen-Farbwechsel.
Bin fr Tipps dankbar, wenn jemand eine Lsung dafr hat.
I should have looked at the platform that this RAM was meant for, and that platform is Intel.
It will work on an AM5 motherboard, mine is the Gigabyte X670 Gaming X, but only using the slower-rated XMP2 Profile – so, 4800 speeds, not 5200 speeds. Using XMP1, my PC was incredibly unstable. Random reboots, random games crashing, and Windows blue-screens. Changing to XMP2 profile, 4800MT/s speeds, it is now 100% stable, and no more crashes/reboots, but lower speed rating than the one I purchsed.
So, I am not going to review the RAM for MY mistake. As DDR5 RAM, it’s great, looks good with the RGB lighting. But, I can’t review it for it’s advertised speeds, and timings. But, at 4800MT/s, this RAM is running 100% stable, passes all the tests I throw at it, and it’s surprisingly fast due to slightly tighter timings at 4800MT/s.
