Easy to assemble, good value for money, it was a present for 3 year old girl
My 3 year old nephew loves this Duplo Lego set. He gets so much fun building and playing with the little figures and also just as much fun knocking it all down and re-building. It’s very sturdy too. Would highly recommend.
So many variations…
Lots of well thought out accessories…
Cupboards open…so do windows…etc…
Complete house contents for imaginative play and true life sittuations…
Can’t fault this set…!
This set is great value for money. Was easy enough for my two year old and I put together. Comes with plenty of figures and accessories for lots of fun play. We recommend it.
My 2 year old daughter loves playing with this duplo house
Bought this for my granddaughter’s 2nd birthday – it was very easy to assemble thanks to the clear instructions and I’m sure will provide hours of imaginative play – you get a choice of 3 designs in the instructions and it’s very sturdy once assembled
Excellent quality and endless fun. So creative. My boy loves it. Highly recommended
The usual high quality we expect from duplo (along with the usual high price). So many different combinations of spaces to create and opportunities for imaginative play. Our kids love this kit so far and I can see many happy hours ahead with this toy!
A very adaptable set with three different layouts to build according to the instructions – many more with a bit of imagination and stimulation. Ideal for 2/3, maybe 4 year olds before they progress onto the more detailed regular Lego kits. 2 year old managed to build the kit with a bit of help from grandad, and kept his attention for over an hour! 4 year old found it a bit too easy.
We bought this today for our 4-year-old daughter. It is her first Lego house and we had fun building it together. The set is really great. It has a lot of cute features and I would definitely recommend this to parents of small children.
I’m in my forties. I bought this for my toddler and ngl, I was probably more excited than she was. This is a brilliant Duplo set, some of the features are so much fun – the toilet(!) with a working lid, bath, oven, bed, sofa, shelf feature bricks and working drawers. The attic/top bedroom window – 2 clear bricks at the top of the house – that sees into the closed area is such a simple idea but really sweet. The family is cute – my daughter loves the figures. My only real critique is the chocolate cake/fondue piece is just too big and is a bit confusing for my toddler who isn’t sure where to place it and gets upset because it won’t fit in the oven, even though the cooking pot does. We also have the Duplo Town bedroom set (10926 – which we bought separately before this), which came with a slide and clock but doesn’t really add much to the house, and the base plate for it isn’t big enough to ‘extend’ the house so unless you want the extra characters and slide/clock, maybe not worry about that set too much (it’s a nice set by itself though).
Overall, a brilliant set with lots of playability.
She just loved the whole thing, bear, doggie and rocking horse and the family people! On her two year old birthday she was totally into it! Building and imaginary play.
I bought this duplo for my granddaughter’s 2nd birthday. She absolutely loves it. She is still a little young for assembling but enjoyed ‘helping’. It is beautifully designed and imaginative and will give hours of fun and learning.
Six year old, two year old and parents can all play together and have fun! Very creative and (as always with Lego/Duplo), great quality.
Some fun little touches like hipster dad with his guitar and beard and an avocado wall decoration.
Bigger than expected!
My little grandchildren loved it from the two and a half year old to the nine year old, great value for money.
Our little girl was bought this at Christmas (she was 2.5 years) and I can honestly say she’s played with it everyday! It’s easy to build, can be rearranged in different ways to increase interest and engagement and her imagination has grown with the amount of play she’s getting out of it! We’ve been really impressed and would highly recommend it.
I bought this for my granddaughter at Christmas and she is still playing with it. Had looked at doll’s houses but felt she was still a bit young (2). We also bought the Duplo Cafe and she has hours of fun with both. A sturdy doll’s house with no tiny parts.
Great quality as always from Lego, my daughter really enjoyed it. A little difficult to assemble by herself even though she is 3 and half and it is suitable from 2+ but we had fun togethe
2-yr old granddaughter loves this. Once build it is a little bit top heavy, but we used other Duplo blocks to create a more stable base. This only helped to increase the fun of building use playing with the house. Highly recommended.
This is a good amount of duplo for the price and there are so many things they can make 3 in one more like 30 in 1. My son loves it!
Was torn between a dolls house or this for 1year old birthday, this was the better choice so far. We’re huge lego / duplo fans, love the options and role play it’s encouraging.
Brought it for Christmas for my Grand Daughter , and out of all the things she got, this is the one she has not stopped playing with.
So versatile, there are so many varieties of houses she can build plus has lots of figures included which she loves to play with, a Dog , Teddy Bear and a child and people.
Would recommend. Grand Daughter is 2 half years old.
Really easy to assemble by yourself. And then easy to play with for the kids. The instruction shows you step by step in a super easy way. It also shows you instructions on how to build several house designs.
Definitely, you will need to help building it. I guess older kids will be able to follow the instruction.
The toy brings fun, imagination and few minutes for parents to leave their child playing with it on their own.
Duplo house:
Beautiful set.
The pieces are brightly coloured and easy to snap together
The instructions are comprehensive and easy to follow.
You can style this set in multiple ways or let your imagination take over.
Worth the price for the entertainment we have got from i
Like all Duplo toys this is extremely well thought out and will provide hours of imaginative play for both girls and boys. It is easy to put together for even the smallest hands which is great for learning motor skills but I would be available for placing the stickers or you might end up with some odd domestic arrangements! Besides all the standard blocks which are interchangeable with all the other Duplo kits you get a nice range of accessories such as a guitar, rocking horse and cake to spark little domestic stories. I like that the family are of several ethnicities and that the dog is grumpy looking which give them character. Best of all in these strange Corona times Duplo is easy to clean with no soft surfaces to hold the virus. Even though it is expensive the durability and imaginative potential make these toys good value really.
I love getting Lego duplo for our grandkids; firstly, this set can be used interchangeably with other duplo sets, which encourages them to use their imaginations. This set is popular with them because it’s easily portable and involves a domestic setting. The play house can be rigged up in about three ways, and there are enough figures and accessories to share, so nobody is left out. It’s robust enough to take rough play, and is a great price for a well known brand.
As you would expect from Duplo, the quality of the pieces is all particularly good, and they fit together easily and firmly. There is a multitude of different coloured bricks. So, no white overkill.
In the subsets, you get furniture, people, animals, cuddly toys (hard of course), kitchen stuff and even a cute rocking horse. So, there lots to play with.
The house itself, can be changed into a tall town house, three houses or anything a child’s imagination can come up with. This really is a great standalone set, with 129 pieces, or as an addition to other sets.
Instructions are clear and relatively easy to follow, and you can download a pdf version of them if you so wish. This is useful if the child has access to a tablet and for parents to assist their child if the child gets a little stuck.
I am a great fan of Lego and Lego Duplo, as they really help broaden a child’s knowledge and inspire creativity. There are cheaper alternatives around, but not really at the same level of quality.
At 54.97, this is quite expensive, but still good value for money.
I hope you found this review interesting, relevant, and beneficial.
Really love this set.
My daughter loves duplo and has been plaing with my sons so I was keen for her to have some of her own.
This is a really nice and neutral set.
Its easy to build with some nice little characters and touches and is an eary dolls house of sorts.
It can be built 3 way, as a row , as one large house and as a town house.
Lots of options for configuring i
We’ve had so much fun playing with this today, we’ve built up the house and then redone it with our imagination, there are enough blocks and pieces to make so many little buildings or one huge one!
The blocks are a great size for minor motor skills and hand eye coordination of smaller children but still great for older children to play along with aswell, both my 3 year old, 6 year old and 28year old me had lots of fun playing together.
There are plain blocks, Windows ect included so there are so many options to make. The blocks are easily cleaned with a damp cloth of needed or in a bucket of water then drained off. The only flaw to this whole thing is the packaging, I would of liked a handle on the box to use for storage as it’s quite a large box.
This is a very nice Duplo set which appears as advertised. Duplo is a great toy, a larger, easier to assemble version of Lego for younger children. The figures are well made, fun and allow development of motor skills and adventure in play. However, Duplo products are not cheap…
This dolls house is great. Multi-levelled, easy enough for the kids to build themselves, and with characters included. It seems very much like a dollhouse, rather than a lego set – which is what I wanted rather than making the decision to buy a separate dolls house with all separate parts.
It’s pretty unisex in it’s design, but it’s just about girly enough for our little girl to feel it’s hers. We have an older 3 year old boy who equally doesn’t feel intimidated that it’s a dolls house, as it’s not pushed either way as any particular gender.
What I love (as a parent) is that it’s all universal – parts from one duple set, works with another. It helps me feel like we haven’t got a million irrelevant toys that don’t work with each other, and all their own specific parts to keep track of. It’s annoying for cleaning it all up and keeping it together in their respective sets, but that’s just all lego. The kids love that their train set man can go in the dolls house, and that in their weird and wonderful minds, the train set can be built to go through the bedroom and it all fits and works perfectly. Kids will be kids…
The bricks were delivered in a very large box and i was pleasantly surprised to see that it wasn’t actually too big, the box of bricks fit almost perfectly and were held in place with a small amount (by Amazon standards) of brown paper which is recyclable (A shame Amazon don’t collect the boxes and paper for reuse). The box is very colourful and attracted my 2 year old niece immediately . The bricks are the perfect size for small hands and the accessories such as guitar, plate, cup, dog, etc. are large enough not to worry about them putting the pieces into their mouths without you noticing. There are instructions to build three different designs but the children use their own imaginations to play with Lego and who doesn’t enjoy that. The instruction booklet is full of tips and is beautifully laid out with full size photographs. The price for Duplo and Lego is pretty high but they last a life time because of their durability so are worth the money. The age group for this set is 2 years plus which i think is the perfect age range.
