This is another great set to add to my forever growing Harry Potter lego collection. Love the extra features such as the Ford Anglia model and the whomping willow tree. It attaches perfectly to my great hall set to create more of a complete hogwarts. It comes with 6 minifigures and hedwig. Highly recommend.
Bought this for my daughter’s tenth birthday, she managed to follow the instructions fairly easily and really enjoyed seeing the castle fully built along with the whomping willow and car! She certainly thinks it was worth the price.
My granddaughter loved this and she assembled herself, she is 9. Lego is good and sturdy if not expensive but it’s what she wanted for her birthday so nana bought.
As a fan of Harry Potter I absolutely love this Lego set, it’s very easy to assemble as it has a clear manual and comes with extra small pieces in case one gets lost which is very handy as I tend to lose small Lego pieces quite often. In addition, it’s value for money as it is of high quality and is very pretty, also the little details make this very unique. I would definitely recommend this.
Good value ,easily assembled. Made with 6 yr old grand daughter. 5 packets and made one each morning. Great to play with car, womping tree, characters and detailed sets.

Love the mechanism on the Whomping Willow and the way the flying car fits in the branches. The segment of Hogwarts is well thought out and works as both a standalone set or attached to other compatible sets (we gave the Great Hall). The figures which come with are great. Set designed well so that you can build a few bags but have complete bits to play with. Lots of fun playing with it once it is built. At full price these sets are expensive but Amazon often have great prices.

Great toy. Fun to assemble, fun to play with – not only for the kids 😉 We’re absolutely delighted, can only recommend it.
I bought this to add to my great hall. As ever with Lego it is well made and instructions are clear for assembly. Womping willow is good, the car is good but I’d prefer it if it could seat side by side mini figures. The building itself isn’t bad but as suggested in other reviews the lamp prevents the stairs on the great hall from locating correctly.
Overall I’m happy value for money considering Lego prices. You can get this in smyths for a few pounds less.
Would have been better to get filtchs cat too!

Thank you very much for my order. After John Lewis lost my order, I had difficulty finding it at the right price. My son loves it, and plays with it all the time
1) Incredible build variety- you get the whomping willow which has a simple but extremely effective spinning mechanism to play out scenes from the movie, the ford anglia which is a fun build, and a sizeable portion of the castle with gryffindor dormitories and potions rooms- all in all a good variety of building techniques and coloured pieces unlike some other sets which just have part of the hogwarts castle
2) Quality- we all know lego is known for theor incredible brick quality and this set is not exception!
3) Minifigure selection- ron and harry in their appropriate clothes, filch which is a new figure and snape, hermione and seamus, all in all a good selection and all appropriate for the scenes depicted
4) Playability- with the whomping willow play feature, a lego car and hogwarts castle this set is extremely fun for children to play with but also looks great as a collectors piece!
5) Expansion: You can connect this set to other hogwarts castle sets due to the technic pin connections, but you can also rearrange the individual parts of this set to create your own style of build
6) Detail: A very high level of detail in the hogwartss castle- the potions rooms have lots of hidden features and lovely details
In conclusion, I highly recommend getting this set before it runs out of stock as it is beautiful on display and has lots of olay features and incredible interior and exterior detail!

Great (second) set. I bought for a bargain price on the warehouse deals, and was going to use to expand the Hogwarts display. Or combine all the sets together for a Hogwartsy type castle.
I bought this for my 11 year old for his birthday. He is a big Harry Potter fan and Lego fan so this went down well. He does find Lego easy to do so if your child is around the same age and likes more of a challenge then maybe get something with an older age range. However, still a great set which my child has still enjoyed and is currently displaying in his room.
This is a great set bought in addition to the great castle set for my son for Christmas.

The scene is fantastic and depicts when Ron and Harry steal the Anglia and land in the tree. Bit of a potter fan here lol.
A good value Lego set which has a lot more inside than you might think. Bought for a seven year old who was delighted with all the different sections included.
According to my 9 year old son he loves this Lego set it is amazing! He loves the car sitting in the tree. He enjoyed building it and only needed a little help with the tree!
Bought for my granddaughter for Xmas and sure she will be delighted as would any Harry Potter fan. Pleasantly surprised at the size which was a bonus. Not cheap but Lego never is and obtainsat a good price
We are huge fans of both Lego and Harry Potter/Fantastic Beasts and my Children and I love the new sets.
Age Suitability:-
This set is aimed between 8 and 14 years old and there are a few trickier bits of the build which my Children needed help with. Obviously the set is also suitable for adults to build too.

The set comes with Professor Snape, Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Seamus Finnegan and Argus Filtch figures.
Features:-
There are three main parts to the build; the car, Whomping Willow and castle. The Whomping Willow branches spin when built and you can position the car on the branches to recreate the scene from the movie. The castle part has an office for Snape, potions class and walkway. One of the best features is that this connects to the Great Hall set and so I am hoping that there may be further Harry Potter sets released in the future with different sections of Hogwarts that connect together to make one huge castle.
As usual a fantastic set with tons of detail and I love that Filch and Snape figures have been included along with Seamus.
This was a present for my grandson to add to his Hogwarts Great Hall and he was knocked out by the final outcome of joining the two sets and this is his favourite Lego product.
This set is lovely – my grandson couldn’t wait to get started and enjoyed putting this together. He was a bit disappointed that only one figure could get in the car though.
