The Original Blue Jeans
In 1853, Levi Strauss, an immigrant from Bavaria, opened a dry goods company in San Francisco at the height of the California Gold Rush.
While he was working, he recognized a need among hard-working people: clothes built to endure anything. He and tailor Jacob Davis combined copper rivet reinforcements with tough denim, leading to the first manufactured waist overalls in 1873.
Today, we call them “blue jeans”.

The jeans are 501s so you know what your getting style wise the denim is a slightly different feel but at normal retail price a nice cut and feel. Look out for the bargains on any brand they are out there but have to be hunted down.

Bought these for my 65yr old Brother. He likes the style and the great fit, I like the great price! He needs a 34 inch leg, not always easy to find in other makes. Good service from seller as they arrived quickly. Would recommend this seller.
I haven’t bought Levi’s for quite a few years. I wasn’t sure how they would fit but they fit very well and are nice and comfortable.
Credit where it’s due. The original order was too big (my fault). Correct sized garment arrived and balance was reimbursed before the original pair of jeans sent back to the vendor had arrived. Very impressive service.
Very happy with these jeans. When I got them and saw the red tag on the back didn’t have the word levis on it I immediately thought they were fakes but apparently they make some without the word Levis on them.
On the Levi’s website they say “It is normal to see a red tab on Levi’s product. It’s not a counterfeit or defective product. On the contrary, it could be a sign of luck to receive a pair of jeans with the rare red tab.”

Levi’s have received widespread criticism in recent years for the quality of their jeans, which are a shadow of the heavyweight, hardwearing ones they produced decades ago. However, I have to admit that the last pair I bought were surprisingly comfortable and sturdy. Keen to purchase some in a different colour, I thought I would give these Key West Sky jeans a try.
The pair I received are VERY lightweight compared to classic 501’s, but they look fantastic (the worn/broken in appearance is a nice touch) and are incredibly comfortable, which is almost certainly down to the stretchy denim now being used. I believe that these jeans are particularly suitable for summer wear. As mentioned by other reviewers, they are darker than those in Amazon’s pics, but will undoubtedly fade to a more pleasing tone with repeated washes.
While they will definitely NOT last a decade like old classic Levi’s, these jeans are still decent quality and should provide a few years wear with proper care. A worthwhile purchase if you can get them for under 50.
Whilst I appreciate Amazon starting to cut back on unnecessary packaging, I was disappointed that these jeans came delivered just in a thin plastic bag with no added protection should this bag tear. Additionally the bag was see through, not so great for my husbands Christmas present when he took the parcel in! Thanks Amazon!
Jeans themselves seem ok and were a good price for Levi’s
I’m In between sizes so didn’t risk getting 34 inch leg as often too short by a cm but these with 36 inch leg were longer than expected so I will try the shorter length next sale. Good quality overall

After trying a few of levi’s jeans (the pictures sometimes don’t match the actual item) I finally found the perfect pair of jeans for me.

These are the best fitting and most comfortable jeans I own. I tend to find it difficult to find good fitting jeans because I’m quite tall and skinny which means they’re normally too wide at the waist or too short/long in the leg but these are perfect. I normally buy cheap jeans and 1 or 2 pairs of good quality jeans like these but these are lasting quite a long time so I am more than likely going to buy more.
There are numerous comments from other buyers on here, questioning the authenticity of these jeans and it would be helpful for Amazon or the supplier to provide some sort of statement guaranteeing that they are from Levi’s. I’ve had a close look and the detailing looks ok but the material feels much lighter than the 501s I’ve previously owned.
As I’m more into comfort and fit over style these days, I’m happy with my purchase and Amazon’s try before you pay service gives you peace of mind if you’re not happy with the Levi’s you receive.
Very relaxed fit, thought 501s were better fit. Looks like I will have to wear them in the bath like the 80’s add to see if they ‘shrink to fit’.

These are very good quality and well fitted jeans , they are very comfortable, they are definitely NOT fake and I’m not sure why Amazon are letting people leave reviews saying they are . One reviewer is even saying he contacted Levi and they told him they don’t use the capital E anymore but the reviewer is lying through his teeth. They now definitely, definitely use capital E on many items as a nod back to the pre 1971 . If you don’t believe it then pop into local Levi shop and see . Also the 501s are slightly thinner than the 514s but its exactly the feel that they are trying for as it is a very comfortable luxurious soft feeling fit and still very sturdy and tough while 514s straight cut are slightly thicker with zip instead of fly
