Very confused bought this a while ago but only just started to build this Lego set I did not know that it didn’t come with a USB power box I have bought two already and not one of them work I know it’s the power box because I pulled the USB apart and placed in to my USB port on my plug socket and the strip of lights came on I have just bought another two power boxes see if I get any luck this time around
The instructions say to plug the wire in to test it works, then unplug. Whilst doing this, the wires came out of the plug. Be very careful as this unit is very small and the wires as thin as hair! Sent back and the company who are sending a replacement which I was very grateful for. Good customer service.

These lights are fantastic. My son is a keen collector of Lego and speed champions. I often see the lights and this is the first time I decided to go with it. What a great item. Lego bricks infused with LED lamps. Fitting is a little fiddly due to the nature of the small model, but worth the effort. Buy with confidence.
The item is clearly listed as a light kit only and the seller sends a follow-up message to confirm this.
The kit contains all the tools you need and provides a YouTube link showing accurate and detailed instructions on how to assemble the light kit onto a pre built Lego camper van. It is a bit fiddly to do, so younger children would need help from an adult.
This is a fantastic lighting kit, expensive but the results are nothing short of spectacular! However buyer beware, this kit takes time and patience to fit, much more actually than building the Home Alone house in the first place. It’s a quality product, that requires attention to detail and dexterity to complete. In short, it’s a challenge, but rewards a skilled and patient approach.
Seller was very responsive when I found there was a missing item in the pack (only reason for 4 stars) – replacement received really very quickly (thank you).
There are loads of lights in this set, and I’m tempted to leave a few off initially. Placement of lighting is well thought through and gives a good effect. Cables can be hidden easily, and there isn’t much shift in the Lego itself as a result.
The USB connectors are a distinct advantage too. Overall, a comprehensive and good quality lighting kit – would definitely recommend.
Found it quite fiddley, but once completed it looked amazing.
