This is a good headset that works out of the box on Linux mint. The only issue was that the microphone is very quiet on default settings, this is easily fixed my increasing the amplification in sound settings. Played games like God of War and the audio quality was very good compared to the basic headset i replaced. Very happy with it.
Goid value for money. Got these to replace my Corsair headphones. Sound quality good , controls easy to uselarge barely for volume , physical on/off switch. Would have given 5 stars if nor USB mini charging port- was hoping to use my phones c type cable.now extra cable at the desk.
Overall headset is amazing but damn the mic loves to mute itself after not talking for 5minutes but not a deal breaker.
I’ve had this for 3 years and the only thing that has stopped working is the built in microphone(which isn’t the best, but it isn’t designed to be) which is as a result of a lot of “stress testing” (shouting directly into it). My one gripe with it is how good the noise cancelling is, it is quite literally impossible to hear anyone talking to you in the same room with these on. Overall 10/10 I highly recommend these to anyone looking to start gaming or anyone looking for a new pair.
When from a wired turtle beach headset to this for my PC and its great. Comfy with great sound quality
Fantastic headset for gaming. It has been the best gaming headset I have brought 100%. The quality is out standing, when playing warzone and other games I can hear their foot steps perfectly and know exactly where they are. The controls on the headset are so simple also. What also makes this such a fantastic headset is that It is wireless, with wired headsets I seem to get frustrated with the wire being everywhere and also spilling many drinks on my desk . I would recommend this to anyone and for the prices it’s an absolute steel.
Got them on sale. I wouldn’t go back to wired ones. EVER !! 18 Hrs per charge. Charge in about 40 – 60 mins roughly. Mic gets tucked away if not being used which I like.
Can play around with surround sound software via Logitech G Hub Software (where it will show all your logitech Hardware)
They are Light weight for what they look. However if full sound, doesn’t matter what material is used in earcups, it WILL get slightly warm inside. I stick with 50% anyway so never a problem for me.
Range is pretty good too. All in All, I think they’ve worked out the best for me. Been using them for a month ish
Great fit and perfect for gaming. I wear glasses and this fits comfortably over my ears. The mic setting is easy to use and with the ability to switch off easy. Fab headset and worth the price
Microphone is GREAT, I can even pee while the mic is on and nobody is the wiser LOL.
Sound quality is great, but I ain’t an audio freak so I’ll let some other reviewer comment on that regard.
Great purchase, haven’t broken yet. Hopefully a long life ahead of them!
You have to get used to charging it as it’s wireless, but I can go to the toilet while still listening to the music from my stream, so there’s that.
The microphone is god-awful; I use a USB mic anyway but the few times the PC accidentally switched to the inbuilt mic the people I was talking to said they could barely hear me and I sounded bad. I wasn’t using it for the mic so I’ve given the product 4 stars.
Pros:
– Sound quality is superb and the virtual surround sound works well when gaming or watching movies
– Comfortable to wear for extended periods of time
– Battery life is good and recharges quickly
Cons:
– Mic sound quality is not brilliant (but that is par for the course with gaming headsets in general)
– if you wear glasses with slightly thicker plastic frames the earpieces squeak extremely annoyingly. Luckily, I can use them without my glasses, but it might be a deal breaker for you.
Audio is fine. The microphone is fine. (I personally use VoiceMeeter Banana to tweak how the microphone sounds).
The only downside is the ear cushions. After a while, it will soak up the smell of sweat (and earwax if you have problems with your ears like myself.)
I tried cleaning the pads, but found myself accidently breaking the thin sheet of plastic inside of the earpads that support it. (if that makes any sense)
Comfortable and light headset does get a bit uncomfortable if kept on for long periods. I’ve been using mine for work so it’s on for a good 6-7 hours per day. The mic seems to be very hit or miss though. I’ve bought 2 of these now one from Curry’s and the other from Amazon unfortunately both broke within 12 months. It looks like there’s a design issue where the cable to the mic is glued to the hinge of the boom so constantly raising the boom to mute the mic has resulted in the mic failing. Luckily Amazon are arranging a delivery of a new headset however I’ve opted to purchase a wired g433 as a backup as I’m confident this replacement will soon fail too.
I use these headphones basically 24/7. I work from home and have regular meetings using these with perfect sound (im half deaf) and no one complains about my mic.
Knocking the mic upwards to mute is a great feature for group meetings so no one has to listens to me breath or I can talk a drink/eat something without creating noise. The mic can pick up my toddler’s cries from outside the room if needs be but it is delivered to the group in a manageable level.
Same appraisal applies to gaming at night and watching movies etc. The headset is bulky and if you want light hard to notice defo not this one. Works while charging.
The only downside I have is that it has to have a USB connection and theres no aux/bluetooth method of connection. So I can’t connect to my phone and the usb can easily get bent by accidental knees or inquisitive toddlers. But seeing as it relies solely on the USB stick and I can’t find a replacement all that easily after a google search it loses a star.
This is my first wireless headset for a very long time so bear in mind that I don’t have many other headsets to compare my experience with.
I moved from the Creative Fatal1ty headset which I’ve had for many years and loved to pieces. Initially I was impressed by the battery life and weight. However, I have been having some issues with the sound quality. The bass is pretty good, but I felt like there was something missing straight off the bat, both in music and in-game. I’m not an audiophile and I don’t know how to properly convey what’s missing, but it’s as if higher frequency sounds are a little flat.
I managed to get the sound quality to a pretty good level by turning down the surround sound volume in Logitech G Hub on all the positions from 11 to 6. I also used AutoEQ to get equaliser settings and EqualizerAPO to apply them (thought there’s other software you can choose from). Would definitely recommend anyone else who gets this headset to do the same, it really helps.
After all that, I’m actually quite happy with the headset. Battery life’s pretty impressive, headset is light, though a bit tight to start with but after about a month of breaking it in, it’s moderately comfortable.
For gaming, the surround sound works pretty well. For listening to music, it’s often best to turn off surround sound because unless you have something on your music player to upmix to 7.1 (in Foobar2000’s case) it sounds pretty washy and overbased.
My friends on discord have commented on my mic quality being slightly poorer than my previous headset though, but it’s sufficient.
So, TLDR:
PROS –
Good battery life
Surround sound (double-edged sword though)
Range is pretty good, I could go a couple of rooms away and still hear/talk provided doors are open
CONS –
Mediocre mic quality
Takes a bit of tinkering to get acceptable sound quality (affected negatively by surround sound)
Hope this review helps inform your decision to buy this headset, and if you already own it, get more enjoyment out of it.
Will update over time.
I’ve been using this headset for a few months now and it’s been very good. It’s the first wireless headset I’ve owned, and the first surround sound headphones of any sort that I’ve used. After doing some research about the benefits of surround sound headsets in general, I found that the features offered on this headset were some of the best on offer, yet at a lower price point than a lot of the competition.
So to start, it is a very comfortable headset. It doesn’t weigh much, the ear cups are soft enough but still give good support (and are detachable, meaning easy cleaning or replacement). The battery life is pretty good and gives an audible warning when the battery is at critical levels. The microphone is pretty good sounding, and turns on and off automatically depending on if it’s pulled down or not. There’s a programmable button which by default is a mic mute but can be changed in the GHub software. Overall though, a comfortable headset that sounds great.
Some down sides – it’s a micro-USB connector on the headset which isn’t a deal breaker, it’s just a bit outdated these days. The clamping force of the headset is fairly weak which could be a problem for some people, I just find that I need to adjust them fairly often – but it does mean they’re extremely comfortable to wear glasses with. The main down side I’ve found is having to install GHub to use certain features of the headset. Out of the box they do NOT have surround sound enabled, and it cannot be enabled without GHub. It’s just another program that I’m forced to have installed when it really doesn’t need to be – but that’s just a personal gripe. If I had more Logitech gear then it might be worth having as it can be used to control RGB, power settings, etc. on their other products.
Bottom line though, it’s a great sounding headset, it’s comfortable, and cheap.
Great headset with very good sound quality, range and battery life. Only problem I’ve encountered is that when charging it with the cable included in the box, it tends to keep disconnecting and reconnecting over and over again for a few minutes which is extremely frustrating and I’ve seen a few posts of other people having this issue too.
I’ve also seen some people say they are very bulky. In fairness, compared to most headsets they are quite large but personally I don’t find this much of an issue.
8.5/10
I had some MPOW gaming headphones (wired) and worked out these were responsible for my PC and games crashing, before this started to happen thought the 7.1 surround and sound quality was good but needed replacing. I saw the Logitech G533 on sale at 1/2 price and fancied some wireless ones. Ordered at 11pm and had these beauties turn up next day. Pairing was easy, fit is good (not so good with glasses but yet to find over head earphones that don’t hurt). Software works well and as for sound… OMG with surround turned on was worlds apart from the MPOW delivering spookily realistic 7 points of surround. The bass is plentiful and so is the frequency range, slapped some music on and again was suitably impressed. Would I have given 5 stars if I paid 140… no but for 70, hell yeah. Also the software says i should get 16hrs off a charge, used for 1hr and still said 100% 🙂
I bought this headset to replace my damaged G930. I prefer the ear padding on the G930 but the on/off switch is a better design on the G530 and best of all it has better range. My previous headset would work around 90% of my house but the G530 seems to have a slightly better receiver so it covers the last 10%. This small benefit stuck out to me because the small number of dead spots in my home were irritating and now they’re gone.
I have arctis 5 wired the most comfortable headset I have but tied due to the wire- time for a wireless- I have size 7 head not massive but fairly large- I hate a large clamping force- I have tried Artics pro too small, head band does not fit-turtle bay wireless the clamping force was too much- then these quite loose but can wear for hours and the sound is great, they stay on fine- the only issue is mixing with discord as there is no mixer that I can easily access so I do it manually with the game. The 7.1 is a gimmick but it increases the sound stage so I guess it works. The head set sound in my opinion is great- and I have no complaints with the mic- which can be flipped up to mute- spot on. They may be old but they are still good. Ps I use these on PC so can comment on other platforms.
The sound is great, the comfort is great, but the build quality is…meh.
First off the comfort, wow, mega comfy, I wear glasses and I have no idea that these things are on my head. Lots of movement options with the earpieces and head-band such that they ‘mould’ to your head shape.
Sound is excellent, and the volume adjustment on the left (?) ear is great, saves having to go into the settings to adjust the volume, or fiddle about with a dongle attached to the wire.
Charging is easy, comes supplied with a USB cable – I have USB power in the sockets at home, so when not in use and I’ve had a session I’ll hook it up and let them charge, LED turns green when charged.
The only negative I can say is the build quality, the adaptability and lightness of the headphones make them feel, well, really rather flimsy – I don’t think they will last that long – even though I take very good care of everything I own, and for the price I would expect better.
So, yeah, good headphones, but buyer beware.
3.5/5
Sounds very good, and comfortable to wear. Easy to set up (just plugged in and it worked). It can be used whilst charging which is good. Batter seems to last for quite a long time. Not perfect though- it makes odd beeps, and there’s no manual to tell you what that means. The mic can be muted by flipping it up, and it often doesn’t unmute when moved down-have to go to the windows sound settings to unmute. Not the greatest looking thing. Biggest flaw though is that there’s no wired input. Not the end of the world if you’re only using it as a gaming headset on pc, but it does mean you can only use it for that.
In my opinion this is the best value for money wireless gaming headset. The main reason being the replaceable parts that are available in case of failure. I will touch on these below;
– PROS –
Replaceable Battery – This was one of my main considerations, the majority of wireless gaming headsets do not allow for the battery to be replaced until you get to the headsets worth 200-300 which I find ridiculous, this headset allows the battery to be bought and replaced (Around 15) and the instructions with the headset tell you how to replace the battery. This is a MAJOR selling point for me. After all the main feature is it’s wireless ability, if the battery is useless after 1-2 years, then it’s redundant.
Comfortable Ear & Headband – The ear and headband cushions on this are very comfortable, I have been wearing it for several hours a day and I don’t seem to experience much discomfort, even when it has been very hot. Bear in mind also that if you do not like the breathable cotton material on the ear cups / headband you can once again buy replacements and they are easy to change.
Construction Quality – Extremely durable, expensive feeling plastic. Nothing feels flimsy of cheap on them at all.
Software – The Logitech software is extremely powerful and easy to use, multiple profiles allow for different equaliser settings for different games scenarios; E.g Settings for listening to music vs gaming.
Works on PS4 – Works flawlessly on PS4, plug in the dongle into the Playstation, switch the headset on and it’s done. The microphone and sound is fine. The main disadvantage is that this is stereo only and you cannot change the audio profiles – However, another “hidden” feature is that if you connect the headset to your PC and save an equaliser profile it actually carries across the profile to your PS4 when you connect it back to your PS4, so create a good profile for your PS4 games and save it and you’re good to go!
Battery Life – This is quoted as around 15-16 hours and I do indeed get those figures, the headset lasts extremely well, not much to say here other than I only have to charge it every couple of days and that’s me using it 6+ hours sometimes.
Programmable Button – Macro button on the headset can be programmed to do whatever you please, mine is set up to launch Spotify on my PC when I’m inside a full screen application. Fantastic feature. Button can do anything from increase the volume to mute the mic, to hot-swapping between equaliser profiles.
Range – Oh my the range, I can easily walk around my house and still remain connected with a clear connection. Absolutely brilliant. This is across several floors / rooms / walls – Doesn’t matter, still remains connected. This is due to the 2.4Ghz it uses.
Volume wheel – Easily adjust the volume from the side of the headset. Nice feature.
– CONS –
Mic is not the loudest on PC at all, very quiet, and because it is wireless within windows you cannot amplify the mic through the typical “mic boost” setting. It is still audible, just quiet. However, on PS4, the mic is PERFECT, extremely clear and loud. Maybe it’s something to do with Windows…
Volume Wheel – Very nice feature as mentioned but very “loose”, hard to scroll it to the right setting. Could have a better construction, but not the end of the world.
Wired Functionality – There is no wired functionality with this headset. It is wireless only. Even whilst charging it still needs to be connected via the dongle.
Bulky – They are very large. Yet, very comfortable. However, they are not “heavy” on your head, you can barely feel them. Just something for consideration.
In short, there are so many features on this headset it would take me forever to list all of them, for the price paid of sub 80 they are an absolutely fantastic headset and definitely one of the best wireless headsets due to the ease of use and also self-replaceable parts if something were to go wrong. Not to mention, 2 year Logitech warranty. There are some negatives, but they are really nit picks. Definitely worth the money.
I’m pretty fussy about headphones/headsets, and these really do it for me. They sound really great for the money, I’ve found myself using them for music listening instead of my desk speakers a lot more than i did with my old AGK headphones. The mic is clearly not studio quality or anything but is fine for calls/game chat.
The build quality is my main gripe – I find even expensive headphones to feel rattley and cheap recently, and these are the same. I’ll whine about it, but it doesn’t seem to get much better unless you spend several hundred , so I guess we’ve got to allow it. These are way sturdier than some of the lower-end turtlebeach sets I’ve tried at least.
The second non-perfect thing is that the pads that actually contact your head/face around your ears are a bit scratchy and can be annoying after long wear periods. Nothing terrible, but something more velvet-y like you get on some studio headphones would be way nicer, and I’m thinking of trying to modify mine.
Basically, I’m not very impressed with the kinds of headset you can get for less than 100, but these are the best of the bunch I’ve found and I’m enjoying them. As a bonus, they work as headphones with my Samsung phone and Nintendo Switch with an OTG cable
In R6 I can hear the enemy’s exact position very quickly. When the enemy is using the drone, I can also hear the very obvious sound.
Wireless is so useful that I can now go to the kitchen after my death to make a cup of hot tea and chat with my teammates.
G533 is no different from G933. The G933 has some LED lights and some earphone keys, but those buttons are not practical at all, and LED lights need power and make the headphones heavier.
Back to G533, the microphone in the headset will mute when it’s in the state,But it’s still working, and when the microphone can not detected environmental sound for 10 minutes (which is the default of the program, it can be adjusted in LGS), it will automatically turn off the headset and save power
I changed the function of the G key to the fast turn on or off surround sound. So when I need to play FPS like R6, I can turn on the surround sound and help me locate the enemy. When I play other games or watch video, turn off the surround sound so the sound will return to normal, just like a normal earpiece.
The sound quality of the earphone is ok, the bass is very good, but the high pitch is bad. As a music headset, I’m afraid it’s worth only 20 pounds. But he has so many functions that he can satisfy the needs of the game and the normal music, so I think it’s worth it.
Share my Settings:
EQ Mode: FPS
Room name:First Person Shooter+Super stereo wide.
LFE channel value:5,other all 11.
In this settingthe low frequency will not be too strong, while playing the game, the background noise will not too big, such as the thunder sound of part of the map in R6.
Bought this used like new. I have zero complaints with this headset.
The sound latency I was concerned about was not noticeable at all. Battery lasts me two or three days depending on how often I use it (4-5 hours a day). Voice quality is fine, and hasn’t received any negative comments so far. Sound quality is decent and nothing more. It’s fine for its intended use, and passable for music. They stay on my head well enough and the mesh materials used are cool and do not irritate my skin. The comfort is okay, and has gotten better the longer I have used it. Before, I felt pressure at the top of the headband, but now it’s not nearly as noticeable. For comparison, the dt770 are a 9/10 in my comfort scale, and the g533 a 7/10. The ear cups are large and should fit the majority of ears, with most not touching the inner mesh of the drivers. The headphones cannot be charged and used at the same time, nor can they be used in wired mode from what I can tell. The noise cancellation is good enough for most loud computer fans, and shouldn’t be too much of an issue.
With all that said, the wireless aspect negates any negatives I have of these headphones.
I’ve been obsessively using Logitech headsets for a little over 5 years now. I upgraded from the Logitech G35 after the headset gave way, which happened at a very good time as Logitech’s software for the G35 is very poor, and the G533 had just been released.
—PHYSICAL TOUR—
The first thing to note about the G533 is the way that it is packaged. There isn’t much in the way of keeping the headset safe inside its box, so I wouldn’t recommend throwing it around as there’s no padding to take care of it outside the cardboard inside the box and the bags that the headset is placed in. However I don’t mean this to sound like the headset is poorly packaged, as upon opening the box it is very well presented, the headset easily lifts away from the box and the accessories and user manual are in a nifty little gap in the divider between the headphones. I’m personally keeping this box for old headsets that I want to keep in good nick.
To the actual headset itself, you should start off by familiarising yourself with how to take off the battery cover on the right hand ear cup, writing down the serial number and getting the product registered on Logitech’s site, just in case. It will also familiarise you with the battery in case of a problem.
The plastic that covers these earcups is however very glossy, as is that surrounding the headset. I left my protective covers over the glossy plastic for a few days while I familiarised myself with the controls on the side of the headset to avoid leaving finger print marks everywhere.
The actual controls themselves are very basic, as is the purpose of this no frills headset. You get a single textured button on the left earcup where all the controls are located, which is reprogrammable in Logitech’s software but is understandably bound to the mute microphone function. There is a switch for powering on and off the headset which feels very solid and requires real intention to turn off and on the headset, so no accidental pushing. Finally, the volume wheel. The wheel is infinite, meaning it will turn and turn even when the headset is muted or maxed, and is using a similar texture to that of the mute button, so is grippy and easy to push. It should also be noted that none of these functions feel loose, the sense of build quality is immaculate as even the G35 couldn’t perform this well.
The padding of the headset is very comfortable, and doesn’t suffer from becoming too dense, hard and uncomfortable if you leave the headset on for long periods of time. I personally find it very easy to forget I’m wearing the headset through a combination of the soft padding and lightweight feel. The headband sports identical padding to that of the earcups, and is very easy to adjust and seems very grippy once you’ve settled on where you want the earcups to stay.
The earcups themselves have a swivel function, allowing you to take off the headset and carry it around your neck, with the padded sides resting against your shoulders. On the left earcup you’ll find the microphone, which acts almost as a lever. It can sit comfortably against the left ear cup, or pulled down by around where your chin will be. If you choose you can also extend the microphone a few centimetres, allowing for more solid positioning if you so choose. I personally choose to keep the microphone unextended.
—AUDIO—
The microphone is the main reason I bought this headset, and I can safely say its very unimpressive. That does not however mean it is bad, as the G533 has to contend with its predecessor the G35, which had an astounding microphone. The microphone suffers from making your voice seem a little robotic and its very obvious you’re speaking through a microphone, however the background noise is essentially non-existent and it would appear that the integrated pop filter is rather solid. If I had to rate the microphone I’d give it a 7/10.
The drivers themselves. I’m not a big audio buff so everything I say is going to be in layman’s terms. Upon first firing up the headset I did what everyone who gets a new headset does: go and listen to my favourite music. Bad move — the headset requires a little tweaking before you’re going to be satisfied, as it comes with the surround sound virtualisation activated by default, horrible for listening to music with.
After tweaking with the settings in Logitech’s software I was very pleased, I prefer things a little bass’y and the earcups can provide bass in droves. The earcups don’t suffer from distortion unless you really push the bass slider all the way to the max, and can get so loud that it becomes more than viable to put the earphones on the desk and use them as a little speaker set.
The surround sound system itself is definitely impressive, I’m not a big fan of using it but I gave it a go in a couple of games and it did exactly what it said on the tin and I can definitely recommend the headset’s capabilities if the surround sound is important to you.
It should also be noted that Logitech integrated their fantastic self-muting microphone upon its docked position. Meaning that when the microphone is against the earcup, it will mute itself and upon pulling it away and toward your chin, it will reengage, allowing for quick muting and unmuting.
—RANGE—
I live in a house with a lot of tech, and as such there’s a lot living on my 2.4 GHz signal, which meant that I wasn’t able to achieve anywhere near the maximum range of 50 feet (15m), however I didn’t expect it to. It does however reach just about everywhere, but will suffer signal loss or artefacting if you take it too far or through too many signals.
However upon killing all of these signals, the headset held up astoundingly, able to even walk with the headset outside and into my garden before it finally gave way and as such it should keep just about anyone happy. (Note, the distance between my computer and the headset when it was suffering artefacting was approximately 20 feet (6.1m).
—SOFTWARE—
Logitech’ software is actually really good. While it can be a nuisance to work with sometimes, when it all goes right, it’s a blast. As mentioned earlier, the first thing I had to do was visit the last tab and disable the surround sound system and then move a tab to the left to the equalizer. I was presented with a bunch of presets for what kind of audio I wanted to listen to. This is a nice touch as if you’re happy with Logitech’s presets, it’s a case of hitting the one you like and its off to the races.
I decided to make my own bassier version of the default preset. The equalizer supports a handsome range of changes, and I quickly found myself enjoying the headphones a lot more. The place where the headset surprised me was that I could save more profiles to the software, and even some to the headset, meaning that I could easily take the headset elsewhere or to another machine and still have my preset! Kudos.
You’re fully able to reprogram the singular key, once again choosing from Logitech’s preset buttons or setting up one of your own functions if you so desire.
Lastly, the battery tab. It does exactly what you think it does. It tells you the battery life. No nonsense, you get an estimated battery life timer and a percentage bar, as well as a nice little visual indicator. Solid.
— BATTERY LIFE —
Incredible. I am someone who spends a great deal of time at their PC, and as such it is not uncommon for me to use the computer from waking up to going to bed. This headset was fully capable of pulling me through 14 hours worth of intense audio and microphone usage, and I still had battery to spare before I put it down for the night.
If you do suffer from a dying battery, it really is no problem at all. Logitech provides a premium cable with great length (I’d approximate it to be about 5 feet or 1.5m) and it’ll take care of the headset and charge it even while listening.
—THE BAD—
Okay so I’ve sung all my praises, It’s time to hammer down what I did not like with using this headset.
The materials seem cheap. The plastic feels a little tacky and while it feels like it is well built, some more premium materials could have been opted for, I personally would have liked something more akin to the rubberised outer coating on the G35 and the rubber that covered the headband.
The swivel mechanism, while it is fantastic is terrifying to me. I haven’t tested this headset for very long and I dare not say what I think will happen in regards to keeping the headphones clipped to the headband, and while it seems fine right now, I’ll definitely be handling this headset with care.
The microphone. While I said it was -ok- earlier, it really is just that. And you’re not paying for an ‘ok’ headset, you want something astounding and the microphone really lets the headset down. It’s quite miserable when you put it up against it’s predecessor the G35, though still better than it’s older brother the G633.
The microphone also seems to suffer from a rather strange issue with its auto mute function. When pushing the microphone against the earcup, and it engages mute — it’s fine. However upon pulling the microphone back to my chin, it will sometimes fail to reengage even though the microphone is fully extended. This meant that I had to reassign the single function key back to mute microphone so that I had a reliable way to reactivate the microphone if it did fail.
The earcups also seem to push on the sides of my ears, while this is an over the ear headset, my ears find themselves pushing right up against the drivers and this can become painful if I don’t adjust the headset frequently.
The functions at long range seem to give up. I was standing downstairs listening to the earphones, listening to a podcast. The audio was a little quiet and I only keep the earphones on around 20-30%. I pushed the volume wheel and nothing changed. The microphone didn’t follow the mute command and I found this a little annoying, as only upon getting closer to the USB dongle would these functions reengage.
—CONCLUSION—
Would I recommend this headset? In a heartbeat.
Would I say it’s worth the money? I think you’re paying a little too much for what you get. 140 is not what I would pay for this, and would feel a lot more comfortable with my purchase if it was closer to 100-110.
Would I -really- recommend this headset, despite my bad points? Again, I would. The points I mentioned only really irritate you for a couple of seconds and they’re easy to overcome, and it does not take away from the positively delightful experience that is using these headphones.
I would only consider these headphones to be a 5/5 rating if they were to get a little cheaper, as I believe for 140 you need a little more for your money.
