Good quality product but beware if your turntable doesn’t have a pre amp. My turntable is also Marantz so I was expecting all to be well but plugged into the phono socket the sound is dreadful. However plugged into one of the other ports and it is fine. Good sound quality and plenty of input sockets of various kinds for those of us that still have old school stuff like phone, VHS, DVD, cassette decks etc. I specifically wanted to be able to plug in my Chromecast and it works great.
I purchased the product specifically for the stereo 2 speakers as I’ve have tinnitus some of the time it’s great for watching tv and playing cds also Apple Music easy to set up and sound grea
I love music and great sound from good speakers. This amp is great plus JBL190 stage speakers turn any room into a dance floor with great bass and rich sound. You can even change port settings and assign different connections that you want. Definitely recommend investing in this amp.

Well made and great sound.very competitively priced. Item arrived next day well packed. Quite easy to follow setup procedure. I’m delighted with my purchase.
Not a 5.1 fan and this Marantz gives you all you expect from the range. It has everything what you pay for and the sound quality is very good (i use with Edifier R1280DB and also will try Sony Pascal SA VE705 series)
I have a 2.1 setup and have to say that this amp is perfect. Plenary of power and more than enough inputs. The sound is clean. The setup was fairly straightforward even though the on screen menu for it is a little old looking. Synced easily with the wifi for airplay playback. Haven’t used any of the apps tbh but with AirPlay present I don’t feel I need them.
Liked the build quality and sound. Heos app a bit hit and miss.
The sound is clear, nice crisp high ends, beautiful bass tones, I love the tone controls for that little extra tweak if needed.
The amp is a SOLID piece of kit. You won’t be disappointed.
I decided to buy an integrated modern unit to replace my old discrete components which don’t support digital inputs and media streaming.
I’m still using my pair of speakers ENCORE705 from Omega Audio, very balanced speakers which I like.
The new Marantz NR1200 providing all the required connectivity, which is HTPC, Spotify, and a TV set.
Surprisingly the sound quality is quite good and it can drive my speakers with accuracy and power.
After 5 months of use & numerous calls to DENON/Marantz uk, this is what i think
Pros:
Excellent sound & controls
Lots of wired connection terminals incl 2 x SW outs & 4 HDMI
Good enough power at 100W per channel to 8ohms
Cons:
Speaker terminals Not suitable for banana plugs (small problem)
Makes a big clunky noise when switched on.(small problem i knew about before buying)
Poor wifi module..keeps losing wifi..
Difficult to configure bluetooth to transmit to my headphone…& then it forgets it all
AWFUL app! Whole thing becomes unresponsive when using HEOS
In summary, dont buy if u are looking for reliable wireless amp
