Non l’ho ancora montato, ma ho verificato che lo posso installare senza alcuna modifica, la porta del box si apre senza problemi. Ottimo anche perch non c’ bisogno di forare o modificare la porta del garage.
Ho tagliato il pavimento, fissata a terra la piastra con i stop in dotazione e poi lisciata con il cemento. La porta basculante del garage ora bella solida e molto pi sicura
Vous pouvez aussi le poser mme le sol pour aller plus vite mais pour moi, c’est moins garantie et vos risques et prils.

Il fait le travail, mme si, comme indiqu prcdemment, il est un peu trop cher. part cela, je ne vois pas quoi dire. Si vous en avez absolument besoin, prenez celui-ci afin de ne pas jouer la roulette russe avec d’autres produits moins chers.

Bref, j’ai achet chez norauto et c’est pas mal mais faut faire attention la serrure avec les intempries elle a tendance ce remplir de m**** et entre la serrure et le cadenas sa rouille donc bien graiss, un cache aurai tait pas trop mal cette endroit.
Bien vrifier la manire dont la porte s’ouvre sinon vous serez oblig de dcaler pour qu’elle passe au dessus de l’anneau et donc le systme de blocage ne sera pas coll la porte.
Aprs on peut toujours modifier et amliorer la base est l.
Detto ci, il resto tutto perfetto. Facilissima l’istallazione usando un tassellatore.
Lucchetto robustissimo e pesante.
Confermo altre recensioni che riportano un leggero gioco a lucchetto montato, ma niente di compromettente.
ATTENZIONE: la profondit di foratura per i tasselli, riportata nel libretto istruzioni, errata. Se rispettate quella profondit, il tassello cadr liberamente nel buco e sar impossibile recuperarlo.
Consiglio di misurare la lunghezza complessiva del tassello e praticare un foro solo leggermente pi profondo, onde evitare problemi
Really pleased with this garage lock. Easy to install, (you’ll need a concrete drill with 10mm & 16mm concrete drill bits), easy to use.
Pour certaines portes de garage comme la mienne (o la porte frle le sol sur quelques centimtres avant de monter), la pice noire ne pourra pas tre place contre la porte mais quelques centimtres seulement. Cela n’est pas gnant car mme si la porte est force, il n’y aura pas assez d’espace pour pntrer dans le garage ou envisager de dmonter la porte. Vous pouvez rduire cette espace en creusant dans le sol avec une meuleuse jusqu’ 5mm (faire un rectangle puis faire des stries et enlever le bton avec marteau et burin la main ou au burineur). Faites des essais et positionnez la plaque de sorte que la porte de garage ne tape pas sur l’ergot de la plaque, puis pr-percez travers la plaque. Ensuite, il faut utiliser un perfo pour percer avec un foret bton de 16mm sur environ 8 9 cm de profondeur. Positionner la plaque avec les vis lgrement visses dans les chevilles dans les trois trous puis serrer le tout. Pour rendre le systme indmontable, vous pouvez mettre une bille dans les empreintes Allen des vis et frapper avec un marteau de sorte que les vis ne puissent plus tre devisses.(dans le manuel ils parlent de mettre la bille dans le “pas” de vis. Cette erreur de traduction porte confusion).
Mme si l’ensemble peut en effet tre dtruit avec une meuleuse comme il est dit dans certains commentaires, il en va de mme pour la porte de garage… je pense que le voleur aura plus vite fait de se crer une ouverture dans la porte du garage avec la meuleuse plutt que de s’attaquer au Master Lock.
Le jeu de fonctionnement entre les pices est normal et ne gne en rien la protection.
Finalement, le plus important dans ce genre de protection est son effet dissuasif.
Es muy fuerte, hasta se ha doblado el portn xq tena fallo y se abra solo, que es por lo que lo puse. Si el portn va bien, y no se abre slo ni se fuerza al encontrar un tope (debera parar por seguridad mucho antes de lo que lo hace el mo), no habr problema.
Es un sitio de alquiler, por lo que no poda hacer ninguna instalacin compleja ni irreversible. Pero con slo 2 agujeros en el suelo, con un taladro de uso domstico, ha sido suficiente para una fijacin fortsima. Y es posible retirarlo en el futuro si es necesario, slo requerir tapar esos 2 agujeros.
Apenas molesta al pasar, por lo que no h generado problemas con los vecinos tampoco, puesto que sobresale del garaje unos 15 cm +-, no ms que lo que ocupa cualquier retrovisor, as que es imposible pisarlo al pasar por delante con el coche.
No s si valdr para exteriores, pero para un garage comunitario va perfecto. Vale cada de los que cuesta.

You will need an SDS drill with a chisel to remove floor material and drill correct holes. Also someone in the reviews mentioned anchor green grout – I highly recommend this for a secure installation. Otherwise it is sturdy and highly visual deterrent.
Relativamente sencillo de instalar pero tira a la basura los tacos metlicos que vienen, ganars tiempo y dinero, compra unos de calidad que valgan para los tornillos que trae. Yo tuve que rebajar medio cm el suelo, era eso o separarlo de la puerta lo que facilita forzarla. La seguridad que ofrece no es la ostia pero es un impedimento ms para los cacos.
Don’t follow Masterlock’s final stage of the installation procedure and smash the supplied ball-bearings into the allen-key insert of the rawl-bolt. Your well-tightened rawl-bolts are likely to come loose with no chance of tightening them any further! Instead, purchase a tube of Everbuild ANCHGREEN Anchorset 300ml Green and squeeze this into your pre-drilled holes, sufficient to just ooze out of the hole when inserting the rawl-bolts at the time of fixing the base-plate to the concrete floor. Also coat the underside of the base-plate with Anchorset. You can then, but it’s not really necessary, fill the allen-key inserts on the countersunk rawl-bolt with Anchorset when you’ve tightened them up. I say it isn’t really necessary since the rawl-bolts are concealed by the lock mechanism and the underside of the garage door when the Garage Protector is in place, so it’s not possible to access them anyway.
I purchased the Anchorset on the recommendation of a fellow Amazon reviewer for the MASTERLOCK Garage Protector. I have him to thank for saving me from a very embarrassing and potentially costly situation since the loosening of the rawl-bolts when tapping the ball-bearings into the rawl-bolt head happened to me. If I hadn’t used the Anchorset I’d have been stuffed! The Anchorset set as hard as the concrete floor the base-plate was fixed to. I think you would need a pneumatic drill to move it now!
You will also need:
* an SDS drill for drilling the fixing holes into a concrete floor
* a 16mm sds drill bit
* a 10mm sds drill bit for drilling pilot holes prior to using the 16mm bit
* a brush or vacuum cleaner to get rid of the dust
The Garage Protector was supplied with three rawl-bolts and there are three countersunk holes pre-drilled in the base-plate. You only need two of the three holes to securely fix the base-plate to the concrete floor and using the Anchorset in addition to the rawl-bolts is more than enough for a secure fixing. The third hole in the centre of the plate is for use when you need to cut off the back section of the base-plate should it not fit under the garage door. The alternative, as stated in the fitting instructions, is to recess the base-plate 5mm into the concrete floor. I’m slightly dubious about this instruction as this would lower the padlock lug by 5mm and since the metalwork of the top half of the bar overhangs the base-plate either side by 5mm you would also need to recess the width of the top half of the bar, otherwise you would have difficulty fitting the padlock!
The supply of three rawl-bolts was fortunate for me as one of the bolts fell to bits as I was inserting it into one of the holes!
On the whole I’m pleased with the MASTERLOCK as its installation has given me peace of mind. My garage is one of a block and remote from the house so it was vulnerable for an attack from thieves. I feel I’ve added at least a further layer of difficulty for them.
Excellent quality and very very sturdy! The bolts were not great as the lower nuts were missing so had to purchase others, however customer service was above and beyond. Great overall security product.
Easy to install. Little bit expensive however the lock and metal design looks far more stronger compared to my neighbours cheaper version.

Someone saying that you can see the bolt that can sometimes be hidden by the bottom of the garage door depends on the shape of your garage door but also this is a silly comment because nobody will be able to undo the bolts with an Allen key after you smash the ball bearing in to the top of the bolts after you have installed it! 😉
Also I used anchorset to secure mine and filled the top of the bolts with industrial grade super glue…. Oh how i sleep so much better now!
