its handy no winding or putting hoses away this air hose reel does it all, Im happy
The ‘tail’ which connects to the compressor is a little short for my liking, meaning I had to mount it lower than I wanted without an additional length of hose. Also the stop block on the retractable hose is mounted quite a way back from the end (much more than in the photos). Yes, you can move it, but I found there wasn’t enough room in the case to accept any more hose anyway, so left it where it was. Overall though, these are small niggles and I’m very happy with it. And if it helps anyone, the hose terminates both ends with a 1/4″ BSP Male fitting. So you can add your desired quick coupling as long as one end has the required 1/4″ fitting. For me, I’m connecting to an Aldi Workzone compressor which has PCL XF quick connections.
This is robust and well made. Useful for working a distance away from source. I’ve found it useful and I’ve not experienced any problems with it.

If struggling use the sparky trick of getting a piece of paper putting it over the holes and punching through. instant template.
The hose itself is good quality should last. The rewinding mechanism has a good pull to. Great for a small workshop.
Easy to mount and the fittings connected straight away to my compressor easily.

This is a practical, well-made hose reel, designed to be used either with a compressor or for water. The hose is strong and flexes nicely. The reel is well made and robust feeling, and the compact size is neat and unobtrusive. Although this reel is designed to be wall mounted, and swings on its mounting bracket it isn’t supplied with any fixings for the two mounting points on the wall bracket. The inlet hose is a reasonable length (about a metre), and the longer outlet has an effective auto-retract motion that helps to avoid tangled pipework.
This is useful if you have a pressurised air source but want to be able to work a little way away from it, perhaps you want to work outside for example.
The extension hose can withstand walking on and the whole thing seems strong. I particularly like the auto rewind and the wall mount features.
It comes with a swivel wall mounting, but as I have no suitable location to mount it at the moment it works just as well without mounting (and the bracket makes a useful carry handle).
It really is a solid piece of equipment. The hose looks really strong and the connectors are good quality, I can detect no air leaks in use. The return spring for rewinding the hose is pretty strong, the hose returns to its casing without any problems.
