Ive bought this mascara on several occasions, but this was a prime deal and was on offer. I wish I had bought more than one, as I use it daily. Its a very good mascara and the wand is perfect, long and slim, to easily catch all the lashes.

4 stars as it’s difficult to remove. It takes a good scrub to remove, and there’s still bits in my lashes. I use a textured silicone pad to scrub them with face wash as Albolene struggles to melt it away.

So now I have bought and used both. Like the black. Does the job. All the hype says the burgundy makes blue or green eyes ‘pop’ – well it doesn’t! It is softer than black and looks nice and natural on lower lashes but may as well just be brown on the upper lashes. Nice if you have both and can be bothered to mess about to use black for top and the burgundy for bottom. But they are pretty hood mascaras, not amazing but fine and fit for purpose.

It is a great mascara, stay all day bulletproof but the burgundy colour not so visible to the eye. You really need to look very hard for any difference in normal light. Could be lighter but the quality is the same so I love it anyway.

I usually buy Maybelline Colossal mascara, but the Sky High was on offer so thought I’d give it a try. The wand is quite flimsy and floppy compared to others which makes application quite tricky, and I found the wand often caught my upper lid near the lash line, making a mess of the mascara. It takes about 3 coats, but it’s easy to apply and looks great once on. It was hard to remove with normal makeup wipes – using a remover for waterproof mascara would probably help. But this also makes the mascara long-lasting and smudge-proof once on. I would purchase it again.

I always buy Maybelline Sky High and thought this was a bargain. But Iwould not have purchased this if it had said it was the waterproof version. The description actually days it is washable. It is not washable and needs the correct oils or creams to remove it.

Really good mascara, won’t be trying any new ones for a long time.

Definitely worth the money, my lashes look longer and no clumping or running, my eyes water a lot due to hay-fever but this mascara stayed put even though it isn’t the waterproof version.

I love this mascara as I have found it difficult previously to get my natural lashes to curl, however this makes them look great and long..The application brush is easy and flexible to use. Would highly recommend

I thought I would give this mascara a try as I had seen their advertising material. I like the volume and lift it provides and the colour is a good dense black. I must have waterproof and smudgeproof mascara as my eyes water, particularly in hay fever season – this mascara certainly is both water/smudgeproof BUT I found it did flake and I had to reapply during the day. You need waterproof eye make-up remover to get it off but I use that anyway. Overall, not a bad product but I am afraid I will be reverting to my usual Max Factor Masterpiece Waterproof mascara, which is, in my view, a better product.

This mascara’s great success is its brush which has the right flexibility for perfect application — you can get it under the lashes to the waterline with precision. Probably the best mascara brush I’ve used.
It was a pleasant surprise to find no lengthening bits that fall off and get under your lenses. The consistency of the mascara is what holds on to your lashes and builds.
Remember not to pump it as that drives in air that dries it out.
It would have been a 5-star review but it arrived unsealed with the bar-code sticker up one end and not even covering the join of lid and body. Apart from that, very pleased.
