A smart plug but you can have a load in an extension lead because they are smaller than any others I’ve got. Easy setup and a good range from the router. Really like these

The only issu is that it works only with 2.4GHz like most of the smart things on the market. But it works excellent, the app is very simple and easy to use. Buy it even if you thing, thay you don’t really need it 🙂

We already had a number of Merros Smart Plugs in our home. So, when we needed more plugs, I chose Meross devices again.

We had no issues with the previous plugs and, using the same APP (and Alexa), the setup of the new devices was straightforward – and just a matter of minutes.

I used one of the plugs to control a new “salt” lamp in the bedroom using Alexa routines. The other I tested but kept as a spare….

Quick delivery too, we are chuffed

Quick and easy set up 👌

I have quite a few Meross Smart Plug products and they are great. Complete ‘smart’ automation to anything that you plug into it. I find them very easy to setup and programme also compatible with Google Home. I recommend these to friends and family.

I already have Meross smart plugs but my wife wanted an extension for her hairdryer, I purchased this on Saturday morning and Amazon delivered this on Saturday night ( well done Amazon excellent service thank you) the set up was so easy, I had this up and running in 15 minutes, really good quality and you can use this with your mobile phone and Alexa, if you’re looking for an indoor extension look no further, 5 stars also this comes with a 2 year warranty and a safety surge protection switch, all this for 23

I am usually hopeless when it comes to setting up anything technology related. But these plugs were quite straightforward. I had checked before purchasing that my wi-fi was compatible so I was confident on that front. When they arrived the instructions for set-up were straightforward and by following them step by step I had all four set up in next to no time. They can be operated remotely simply by using the Meross app which, in itself , is quite impressive. But by following the instructions to integrate with Google Home you have a back-up option. The app has a ‘Smart’ tab which offers the facility to set up ‘routines’, which is a very handy tool. As well as being able to programme them to switch on at the same pre-set time every day these plugs offer the facility to switch on at key moments – for example, I have one of mine programmed to switch on at sunset every day – and it works! Even when the clocks went forward recently the plug switch on automatically followed suit. I have been using them for about a month so far and they have worked well so far. I am very impressed so far.

The Meross WiFi Power Strip comes equipped with six individual power sockets that can be controlled via a free app, making it simple and convenient to manage all of your devices. Additionally, the power strip includes a set of USB ports, allowing you to charge multiple devices at once.

One of the standout features of the Meross WiFi Power Strip is its scheduling capabilities. You can easily set schedules for each socket, ensuring that your devices turn on and off at specific times of the day.

Overall, the Meross WiFi Power Strip is a reliable and practical device that offers great value for money.

Already had the app to control garage door opening module. So as that worked well, thought I’d try these. Easy to set up and pair, work great. Only one criticism on the set up of multiple, not clear in instructions, you have to switch off all other, previously paired devices, otherwise it try’s to re-pair one of those?

I’ve previously purchased some others (elsewhere/different brand) that don’t connect however I’m pleased to say that these all do and they allow me to add more of my electricals to my smart home system. Admittedly it’s mostly Echo turn on the light, echo turn off the light or dim the light, but still, these capabilities are super important when you want to to embrace today’s technology and use it to enhance your life – as a disabled person, this voice controlled help at home is priceless ~ yes buy them!!!

Very well designed, engineered & constructed product, very strong & solid with wall mounting facility.

Download & register the Meross App on your phone & add the product to connect to your WiFi using the product model number printed on the box (smart surge protector- device) following any on screen instructions.

I found that it needs to connect via home kit to initially set it up & when completed an App restart is required, then everything is shown ok on the Meross App when reopened!

A bit of a faf but works great when installed.

I haven’t added a photo as, well, it’s a strip plug! I do like Meross stuff though, you know it just works. The setup is easy & not complicated & you are taken through every step. I use 3 of these now to control my computer, TV, 3d printer etc. Flawless integration with Alexa once you have acquired the right ‘skill’ from the Alexa app. The thing I really like about Meross stuff is you can choose to have the LED on the device on or off, which is perfect for use in a bedroom. They are good quality but unfortunately that is starting to show in the price now. If they keep putting the prices up I will move to another brand. The 6 plug version of this is nearly 40!! Yes, there is one with a Gallium charger & I understand that will be expensive, but that is not something I need. I am just grateful this version is still available. In short, great quality, price not bad but not what they once were.

And generally they are ok, easy to set up, and provide individual switches for each socket and the whole unit.

That said they both drop off the radar and need to have the socket they are plugged into off and then back on.

My first does this about once every 6-8 weeks. The newer does it about once a month but when it does it can happen a few times within hours of each drop. My Wi-Fi which can link over 200 devices and currently has 46 attached if fine and providing a strong signal when this happens, so no obvious cause as they both don’t drop at the same time.

Most of these Wi-Fi products do seem to have odd blips though so not enough to return, but is enough to drop a star.

HomeKit is increasingly becoming part of my home and this is a brilliant addition. By plugging in “dumb” devices, you can make them smart and use Siri to turn them on and off – or add automations to them (e.g: turn the TV off every night at 10pm).

Only downside is that all 4 of the USB ports work from the same smart controller – so it’s either all 4 USB on or nothing.

    Honestly, a great buy!

Great quality smart plugs, the app works well and once set up it’s easy to add them to a Google Home setup and just control then from your phone or with voice control. I have a house full of these and the older model, have yet to have any die on me. Property quality brand.

An article with a very simple installation, this Meross smart plug.
Just plug in, download the app and pair with Alexa… it’s really simple, for me at least that’s how it has been.

With the Meross plug I control a floor lamp that I have in the room. There I have a 4th generation Echo speaker, with which I control both the on and off of the floor lamp, as well as control the Echo’s own functions.

You can create routines such as programming the time to turn on and turn off the light of the floor lamp, as well as turning the Echo on and off. What you cannot do is ask the light of the floor lamp to increase or decrease its intensity or to change color, for this we need smart bulbs, and, if you have smart bulbs, the smart plug. This plug is more aimed at controlling the turning on and off of electrical or electronic devices, which of course are powered by electricity, such as the boiler, washing machine, air conditioning, among others.

Now I want to buy another Meross plug, this time to associate it with the thermostat and control the heating on and off.
In times like the present, saving our expenses with these smart items and automating our home is no longer ‘a pijada’ or a luxury; Rather, I see it as a necessity and something that will be very normal, very natural for a few more years.
To get started in this world of home automation, having a pair of Echo speakers (3rd, 4th or 5th generation, all are valid for this), a Meross plug and a pack of smart bulbs; It is a first big step in changing the conception we have of comfort, functionality and economy within our home.

    Would definitely buy these again.
I confess I was sceptical with the whole smart home malarkey but as far as Alexa, Smart Plugs, ease and effectiveness goes I am impressed.

I’d originally bought the offer that saw a plug and Alexa arrive together. A larger Melrose plug (than these) that took up the whole socket and made access difficult. Absolutely no issues with this smaller plug.

The only negative is the price which at full price I think is a tad too high although you do get what you pay for in this case. Mind you I happened to buy these on offer so I’m a smart guy.

First up; I already had a Meross 3 socket power strip which I’ve had zero issues with, and was looking for the same device to replace a (non-Meross) smart plug that wasn’t always turning off. This was the closest I could find to that older Meross device. Using my existing Meross app, I had to dig through the device options to find this model (it’s under Smart Surge Protector) but after finding the specific model – MSS420F – it was easy enough to set this up. The app shows a visual representation of the power strip which allows simple switching on & off of each socket, plus routines for automation against schedules & power off after a set time. The routines support sunrise & sunset with time offsets too.
The device works well with the smart home options I have access to – Alexa, Google Home & Samsung SmartThings.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGood, works and had plenty of plugs. The app is well lade out, has all the basic features one would expect, and other than 2 problems mentioned below works well. Setting up Google home worked quickly and easily.

    Now the downsides:
The initial setup failed about 5 times before eventually working (the device was about a foot away from me and about 5 feet from the wifi access point so none of those are reasons why.

There is no way to individually turn the plugs on and off other than the app or a voice assistant. Only a switch to turn them all off or on. Other smart power stripes I’ve used have a button for each plug.

If it loses WiFi then it needs to be reset and reconfigured (with the very buggy process to do that.)

The app sometimes fails to correctly read the on/off status of an indivual plug if it has been changed buy a different app or device or by schedules within the meroos app and this works fine but the app won’t recognise the change. For example I have a the app scheduled to turn my electric heater for my work room off after 20 mins, and this works correctly, but the app will still show the plug is on even after closing the app, a refresh button that works would be nice.

Was set up in seconds with the HomeKit app. Couldn’t get it set up on my android phone, it is not one of the listed products on the Meross app and a manual install draws up a blank. It sets up with the home app on Apple tablets though.

I love this product and it is something I have always wanted. So happy somebody has manufactured it, gone are the days of having to go and swap plugs around.

The only drawback so far is that most of the time I open the app it says ‘no response’, ‘this accessory is not responding’. This necessitates restarting the app several times or waiting a minute.

I haven’t tested it out with Alexa because I want to try and get it away from the Apple home app and into Google home but I don’t know if that is possible as I wasn’t able to set this up with my Android phone.

Overall a good product and very useful.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersUpon opening the box and finding the tiniest instruction manual ever, I thought oh dear.

I’m not sure if any of the following applies to Android phones, certainly does to Apple (14 Pro,IOS 16.1.2).

I could not get these to connect. At all.

You need to be able to access your router (easy to do – from a computer) and try to disable 5GHZ band, or IPhones will default to 5GHZ – meaning you can see the plugs, but as the phone and sockets (and Alexa) are on different GHZ – it’s a no go.

Mine is the newest Sky router. Sure, you can click at the top on 5ghz wifi, and uncheck the 3 boxes (it will warn you not to if you have SkyQ) and then click apply.

This does NOT turn it off. Now, I am unsure as to wether me ragging the power cable out from the router, or throwing the router at the wall made the router restart (hard restart) but when it did 5ghz was definitely switched off. THEN my IPhone allowed me to choose the 2.4ghz wifi.

It can be helpful to rename the SSID for one of the frequencies – say SKYHSKA-5G instead of default SKYHKSA. You can name them whatever but you will need to reconnect devices afterwards.

If you have disabled 5ghz anyway, it should only pick up the 2.4ghz from your router so renaming is not essential.

So, a soft restart (router) does not change things, even when you have unchecked/applied new settings. Soft restart is available on Sky router settings. Don’t use it. I think you can press the pin sized hole for 30 secs to also hard reset, not sure. Killing it’s power for 30 secs certainly does.

You can then connect effortlessly to the sockets/new devices and then turn back on 5ghz when done – it’s no problem turning 5ghz back on.

Remember to know your routers wifi password, I changed mine from default anyhow (the one on back of the router or on the little card you get from Sky). You can see the wifi password also on a PC/Laptop on the routers settings. 192.168.0.1 – Login Admin – Router Network – type in address bar the numbers to access the routers controls. That’s for Sky and many others, some I think substitute the 0 to a 1.

Now, adding to Alexa is simple, and they are instant – my older ones took a few seconds for Alexa to turn lamps etc on, these are super fast.

Hope this helps, simply put – nightmare to connect IPhone to 2.4ghz network – which most smart devices use – and you cannot use different ghz obviously.

Well built product also. Oh, finally, the manual does not even show the model (110) – just choose ‘mini’ on the app.

I have used this for some months now and I find it very reliable. It seems very well built and I like that you can add it to Alexa and also Home assistant very easily and have both systems control the plugs at the same time.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have 4 of these and use them with Alexa. They were all bought in November 2019, so 3 years old.

They were fantastic at first but are degrading and frequently losing connection. One is now useless the rest unreliable.

Maybe try a different brand the next time. The Philips smart light bulbs are still going strong and reliable. So maybe see if they do smart plugs too.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersIt’s a real pain to sync with Alexa, but I did it.

    The good:
    – You can control the extension lead as a whole with one click to turn all sockets on/off
    – You can control each individual socket.
    – In the Alexa app you can group each socket into one or more groups/rooms.

    The bad:
    – I struggled to get the device to work from within the Alexa app. It found the device, but kept saying that it was unresponsive.
    – I had to edit the permissions of the Meross app to use the app as the default app for opening the linking url, but this was necessary to get out to link up.

I finally managed to get the 2 apps to link.

This page really helped too when I was having trouble getting the devices to respond to commands in the Alexa app: https://www.amazonforum.com/s/question/0D54P00006zT1DkSAK/device-is-unresponsive-displayed-in-alexa-app-but-works-fine-in-wemo-app

I would recommend that you add all the devices to the Meross app first, then link to the Alexa app. The device should then respond properly.

We now have 3 power strips from Meross, we love that there is no requirement for a hub and the ease of use.

We don’t use with Alexa but integration with Google works well and we are able to voice control each individual socket by giving them individual names in Google Home. Not an issue for us but note the USB ports are either all on or all off.

    Also integrates easily with IFTTT.

I usually go for TP-Link for this kind of thing, but they don’t sell a smart powerstrip with as many sockets. I have purchased meross products before when shopping for smart thermostat valves and the quality is a lot better than I had expected. meross isn’t a name I was familiar with previous to that. On the strength of the valves, I had no qualms in getting this. Google Home integration is good, and their own app (Android; don’t know about iOS) isn’t too shabby either, which is often not the case with cheap smart devices.

This is a great bit of kit, it was easy to set up, remember to use (2.4ghz) to set up. It’s also a great price for the amount of outlets, it’s very responsive either by using switches as a remote control via phone, or via voice control. I would highly recommend it to anyone debating whether to buy one. Go ahead and buy it, it’s well worth it.

  41. Anonymous says:

The key to this is follow the instructions and set it up close to the router first! Otherwise you will have issues with connection in the set up process. Once set up the integration with Alexa was seamless and works well and I like the fact you can control each individual socket separately. Would definitely recommend.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI was waiting for this 6-outlet power strip for a while, as Meross is the only company that produces power strips with HomeKit integration for the UK market. In summary, works as expected, with easy integration with HomeKit.

    Positive points:
Installation was dead easy, you just scan the HomeKit code with a HomeKit compatible device (e.g an iPhone) and you are ready to go. You don’t really need the Meross app, apart from updating the firmware of the strip, or if you want also to install the strip with another home automation system (e.g Alexa).

You can control through the Home App on iPhone or the Meross App, each outlet individually, and the 4 USB ports as a group. Also, the size of the strip was smaller than I’ve anticipated, it looks larger in the photos.
Also, what I’ve liked is that the power strip comes back to power immediately, after a power cut, and you don’t have to go looking for the power button, as it happens with other power strips.
So far works flawlessly and I’m pretty happy about it.

    Negative points,
Two reasons why I’m giving it 4-stars:
    1. the WiFi reception of the strip is somehow anemic, affecting sometimes the response of the strip on the WiFi commands. Ideally, you need to have a wifi repeater pretty close to the strip, in order to maximize its efficiency. Evidently, it doesn’t help the fact that usually power strips are hidden behind desks, or inside cable-tidy boxes, etc, but this should have been anticipated.
    2. The second issue, and more important, is that the outlets are very close to each other, with limited clearance between them. That means if you have a power plug that is a bit odd-shaped or one of these power plugs that are also a power supply, you may have a bit of trouble fitting them in. Even normal plugs are touching when are fitted next to each other. Finally, the sockets are quite tight, you need to apply some force to fully sit a plug. This may be a safety feature, but it is not mentioned in the manual or somewhere.

Overall, pretty happy with the power strip, works as advertised, and it is great for desk use. Maybe in the future consider controlling each USB independently and add power consumption monitoring.

This device arrived in a timely fashion. After downloading the required app onto my Android phone and ensuring I was connected to a 2.4Ghz access point / router, the device could be found under a long list (press More at the end of the first screen list) of devices as a Smart Surge Protector of which there are several – ensure you find the pictogram to match this model, as model numbers are not shown. Following the onscreen instructions, the connection went as expected. At the end, I could control all four sockets at the same time or each socket one at a time.

(Out of interest, I tried to add the device to eWeLink but this did not work. As it does not claim to, that is just an aside.) I connected to Google Assistant without issue. (I did not test SmartThings, given the general issues with that software.)

Connecting to Alexa was *truly* frustrating. I tried both ways recommended as options for an Alexa connection, with neither working. After over 45 minutes of stumbling around various options, I tried making Google Chrome the default browser on my phone. Thereafter, the connection with Alexa worked. If the Meross software requires Google Chrome to be the browser, it should state this in their user documentation and (ideally) in the product description.

There is one issue with the Meross system of naming: You can rename the entire power strip easily but you cannot rename the individual sockets in the Meross software, so they remain “Switch 1, Switch 2,…”. This means if you own more than one of these deices, the individual sockets on each device would have the same name. Luckily, Alexa software allows these to be nicknamed within the Alexa software, so that they can be addressed individually within Alexa. (As I do not own a second strip to test this out, I am basing this comment on what I have seen.)

A great way to manage individual devices within a small area such a desk, where the extension lead is tucked away. Using the Alexa app or voice control on your Alexa device, you can power off per device or on mass. All usb connection though are seen as one socket/device. The usual capability of Alexa such as routines, can also be set per socket allowing for greater flexibility

At first I was a little concerned that I I couldn’t change the switch names, but once connected it was VERY easy to do. For the longest of time I had their 3 plug version and I’ve never had an issue until I needed another socket.

With this one it has 6 sockets, plus USB ports, and it has built in surge protection.

There is a version that is compatible with Apple homehit – this isn’t that one… and although I have all apple devices I much prefer using alexa (siri and homekit needs a lot of love and sadly apple ain’t giving it any)

It’s simple to set up and Alexa finds it quite easily…

Sadly it’s either all USB on or off – no individual options like with the sockets

Changing the names of the switches is a bit messy and could be simplified.

But I love it… never had issues with the first version and haven’t had any issues with this

Set this up in my shed and plugged all of the garden lights into it.. so many things to tinker with.

I have a motion sensor that triggers the lights on, and they are set to come on at sunset and go off at a certain time..
The app is easy to use.. just follow the instruction, ensure you connect to a 2.5ghz signal and you’re good to go

Easy to set up with Alexa.
    Well made.
The clunk of off is a bit louder than expected.
    Good space saver.
Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars all round as I think it is slightly overpriced.

I had given this a product a 2 star rating before as its old firmware update was to buggy. I’ve returned the product knowing that it was faulty. But the company send me a free replacement to test its new firmware update that fixed its recent bug. The customer service was really helpful from start to the end of my concern I was really haply about how they tackle and fixed its recent USB bug.

This is by far the easiest installation of any Smart product that I own.
Plug it in, download the the app and right away it gave options of connecting to Alex, Homekit etc.
I chose Homekit, which it joined immediately. Once I had selected a room it then suggested automations and scenes that I might want to add it to based on what was already set up in the room.
I would have been adding it to these, so this was really useful.
Overall the set up took less than five minutes, and I think I could have added it directly to Homekit without the Meross app.
Being able to add it without the need for a hub is a bonus.

The plug itself is very small in size, it fits on a 4 way extension and you can still put another plug in next to it. It also has an on/off switch on the side.

I plan on replacing my existing smart plugs with more of these.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI own several Meross products and I love all of them. I was glad to see they have made a mini version of this smart plug. I have 4 of the older plugs and they all work brilliantly with HomeKit but might impede the use of neighbouring sockets due to the large size. With this new smaller version, you will not have that issue, you are able to fit this mini plug right next to other plugs. Easy to set up with the Meross app and simply scan the HomeKit QR code to add to your Apple Home app. Set up takes a couple of minutes, easily use the Meross app or Homekit app to set scenes and different schedules for the device. The mini plug is well built and feels solid. Check out the video for more details and the setup process. I love my Meross products and will continue to add new products to my home. Great job again Meross, another happy customer!

5.0 out of 5 stars Updated Mini Version! Easy HomeKit Installation.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersI must initially say that I have been asked by Meross to provide a review, but I do so without any bias.

I have tried various smart plugs for some 10 years now. Gradually things have improved but until recently a common failing was the size of them. Some hung down from the socket plugged into, quite big. Others took up a lot of space in the socket such that if it is a double socket the adjoining one became unusable. Some require their own dedicated software or app which is not helpful. All in one app — HomeKit — is preferable.

A few months ago, I came across the first edition of the Meross smart plug. Easy to use but I needed the Meross app. I stopped using them. I did try it running a 2.8kW electric radiator with no issues at all. Recently I came across the Meross power strip and that is worth having as it can be used through HomeKit. Latterly Meross have redesigned their smart plug producing this one, made it much smaller, looking nicer and the main point is it is HomeKit compatible. The pictures of it on the site do it justice.

It is easy to set up and configure whether in the Meross app, HomeKit or Alexa. Alexa and Android gear I don’t normally use. It leaves space in your socket for other devices to be plugged, such as power supplies for phones and tablets. It can be configured to operate in a schedule. Ideal perhaps for the coffee machine.

It is rated at 13 amp maximum load which should be fine for most homes, but I would not use such a device if I was plugging in something that requires an initial surge of power as that may damage the plug. Not many home owners have such.

This is about the best of this sort of device I have come across and I will be buying more. Nice to be able to operate it from one app that covers everything else as well.

What would be better still is if they could make a socket that does all this and replaces the existing UK wall socket. That would be very popular.

One criticism though, but not big enough to be an issue for me, there is a button on the plug to switch it on manually. It is on the left side. You may find if you plug something else alongside it you cannot operate it. It would be better to put the button on the top.

Update: Since posting this review I have found the smart plug consistently fails to be recognised. Left plugged in with the wall socket switched on the smart plug should be visible either in the Meross app or HomeKit. Neither sees it. The message “Unreachable” is there. Yet the smart plug is plugged into the mains. If I switch off the wall socket and then back on the apps, after a few seconds see the Meross smart plug and all works fine. But after a few hours it drops out and even though live can no longer be seen by the app or HomeKit. It becomes unreachable again. I have tried resetting the smart plug and reinstalling but to no avail. It works initially and then becomes unreachable in HomeKit and the app.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersPack of 4 smart plugs. Downloaded Meross app to phone and followed instructions to set up pretty easily. Then set up app on my wife’s phone and used my Meross log in to give her access to the switches. I also used the app to update the firmware for all the switches in one go. Then I tried to link to Alexa, but as other reviews have said, nothing happens when you try to enter your Meross login details in the Alexa app. After trying unsuccessfully several times, I found a review on Amazon.com that said to use ‘on line Alexa’ to link the Meross skill. I then logged into Alexa via a browser (alexa.amazon.uk) and was then able to link the Meross skill to Alexa. Everything now works via Alexa and my wife will be delighted when she comes home tonight and is able to control all her Christmas lights and the kettle! via voice control.
Delighted with the Merros plugs after initial problems.
Hope this helps all the frustrated purchasers that couldn’t get these great value devices working with Alexa.
Amazon (or Meross), you need to sort out the inability for the Alexa app to accept the Meross login details!!

The product is great, so far has been reliable and shipped fast. The only qualm I have is with the packaging – I appreciate it is recycled cardboard and thus great for the environment – though the box doesn’t come sealed and twice now I’ve opened a box pulled out plugs that have felt pre-owned/used. There’s been little blemishes on them (easy to wipe away), areas with a finish that is uneven and under light look slightly greasy (again, you can generally wipe it away). As they are loosely held in the unsealed cardboard box – the plugs attract small bits of cardboard and other dusty particles on them (again you can wipe it away). It’s not a game changer, and ultimately the product is brilliant to use so I won’t return it – though I couldn’t give 5 stars for a brand new product that arrives looking pre-owned.

Golden Review Award: 34 From Our UsersI have quite a few smart things, Meross, TP-link, Hue, Alexa etc.

Main reason I went with Meross is they have powerstrips, there’s never enough plug points, the app had good reviews too. I have 5 kasa plugs but they haven’t done strips. I also have Hue but they don’t do plugs etc. Arggghhh… I now have 3 Meross strips and 4 individual plugs. I’ve left a review for the plugs but I thought I’d do a strip review although it’s probably similar.

THere is one key point I’d like to make.
You can control devices of different ecosystems together using the Alexa app. Saves opening each app or giving alexa lots of instructions to get everything done.
When I say Alexa I’m home, she turns on two lamps, one on a Meross strip and the other TP-link plug.
When I say Alexa good night she turns off the two lamps and if my TV and kitchen light (Hue bulbs) are on she’ll also turn off them. Very easy to set up.
So if you have bought into different systems you can control them with one instruction together, this is one of my favourite things about Alexa. Another benefit is if you buy more items from other brands you can just add them to the scene you already created whatever brand they are.

App is very good and reliable, no issues.
    Well made, solid, no issues.
You get power usage on individual plugs, you don’t on the strips.
I’ve set up google and IFTTT but not had reason to use them.
THe LEDs aren’t too bright, I can have this in the bedroom. It’s been a real struggle to find a power strip that doesn’t make my bedroom look like I’ve got Christmas decorations up. KASA is so bright I covered up the button with electrical tape.

    FYI
WIth Alexa you need to run discover devices after you have set them up. You can ask “Alexa discover devices” or do it via app.
You can only turn scenes on not off. For off you need another scene.
You need items with mechanical on off switches, that stay in position on or off (like a light switch). Not the push in out or touch sensitive buttons. For example this won’t work with my touch dimmer lamp or my air purifier which has a button you press in but the button then pops back, nor will it work with those flat touch sensitive buttons. It will work with my dehumidifier which turns on via a dial and my lamp that has a on off switch part way down the cable. The on part needs to stay in place.

    Some improvements I’d like:
    1. You have auto off, ie your lamp’s on but you’re going out but you want it on for rest of evening but turn off in 3hrs. I’d like an auto on. I have this on KASA and it’s useful occasionally. I know I can set it up, but for one offs it’s quicker.
    2. More scheduling options. I’ve just set up my propagator. I’d love and on/off auto. For example on for 2 hours off for 1 repeat between these hours. Instead I’ve got 14 on/offs to set up over 24 hours.
    3. The device box on the main screen, this is an on/off switch for these plugs but not for the strips. The little pencil is the edit button. That could be a little bigger and also include a link to energy usage so one less click.
    4. Once you’ve set up a schedule you can’t add extra plugs, for example I set up switch 1, but then wanted to add what was plugged into switch 2 to that schedule. You can’t, you can set it up with them both though.
