This lovely throw has a very soft luxurious feel and a good choice of heat levels. It has been wonderful for keeping warm on chilly days when room temperature is kept economically low.

I was looking for ways to avoid having the heating on and this is great! I bought the largest size and it’s perfect for snuggling up on the sofa. A great size, heats up nice and quick and is lovely and soft.

This Is Really Cheap To Stay Warm. I’m Disabled, I Live Alone & Can’t Afford The Heating Because I Don’t Get Any Help With Cost Of Living. This Has Been My Central Heating. A Great Blanket. I Don’t Normally Do Reviews Anymore After Leaving A Negative That Amazon Wouldn’t Put Out There. I Had To Leave One For This.

What can I say it heats you up and keeps you toasty. We rarely use the electric component as the blanket is that warm and cosy to be under. I would definitely buy again. This blanket is a total game changer.

Better than putting the heating on to heat while property. It warms up very quick and it’s quite warm in the lowest settings. Easy to clean. Soft and comfortable.

Great customer service. Tracking times available. Well communicated at all times.

Item as described. Perfect. Quick despatched & delivery. Perfect!! Highly recommend it. Thank you!!

    Great blanket.
Heats evenly across the blanket and the low setting is a nice warming kind of heat when the hot setting is boiling hot (lots of setting in between)
Heats quickly and looks good too

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersUntil you have one, then don’t, you won’t realise that you cannot live without this. I literally sit with mine every evening, whatever I’m doing – reading, watching tv, snacking, on the phone etc – and on chilly evenings I have the heat up, or on warmer evenings turn the heat low or off. Even in summer, a gentle heat on your back is just gorgeous. When the last one, which was a gift, finally packed in after daily use for 3 years, I had to buy a replacement! Folks, you need this in your lives, trust me! No, not paid to write this, it’s genuine, mind you I do live in the North West of England. That said, heating stay off while I stay cosy!

Like most people we’d been suffering with a long and expensive winter for those heating bills. I bough one of these for the times when you can’t really warrant putting the heating on and I haven’t been disappointed. The blanket is really soft and warms up really quick. Not long and you are feeling nice and toasty. Definitely recommend.

    Super useful blanket.

    Positive: Keeps at nights warm.
System has got multiple warm settings and it has got a safety timer switch-automatically switch off after 8 hours.

Negative: You can feel wiring in the blanket and the blanket needs to be plugged into socket. Wiring is short.

After doing the research on these heated throws, I decided to get this one and haven’t looked back.
It has been absolutely indispensable throughout this winter, and if you’re someone like me who gets cold easily this has been a real life saver.
Delivers on all its promises – the product is durable, safe and effective. Blanket is thick and warm even without the heat, cord could be longer but I never struggled with connecting it to the nearest socket, sometimes just need to be creative in which way you turn it. I’ve never gotten past the 6 out of 12 (I believe) heat level, which gives you some idea about the output – it’s seriously toasty, even at 2 or 3. Easy to use, still going strong a year later – nothing bad to say. Great product, get it.

We have already used it on our outside sofa in the cool evenings . So much better than our patio heaters and 90% less costly to run . Big enough to cover 3 people sitting next to each other .

Would recommend – the only thing I would improve would be a flight my longer power lead as it a little short so needs and extension lead to plug in outside .

Life is currently more challenging than usual. Due to unhappy organs I have had to stop the meds for my auto-immune arthritis and, due to a leak somewhere in the system, we have no heating: a double whammy for someone with psoriatic and osteoarthritis. As I usually run hot a blanket like this was anathema but things are different and this is a joy. I have it on level 3 and the heat is targeted to my feet, shins, knees and hips giving a direct source of comfort. I am looking forward to trying it in the sitting room where the room temperature has not risen above 9 degrees for weeks – no need now to stay in bed for extra warmth. Hopefully I will be able to get my shoulders and upper arms under it too – only my spine and neck are arthritis-free (which won’t last, good things never do). I cannot envisage ever needing a setting above 5, the timer will probably be useful, the control panel is easy to read, understand and simple to use. I like the grey with the cream, all our sockets tend to be on my left in the places I usually sit but a little reorganisation will solve that. I was able to use a voucher on the day I bought it which reduced the cost to just under 45. The only thing which isn’t particularly clear is how to disconnect the fitting to allow for laundry purposes but I’m sure I can work that out.

The blanket was lovely and warm and it’s not expensive to use especially with the cost of gas and electric. The only downside is it sheds a lot of white fluff so I had to keep brushing my clothes. Other than that I am satisfied with my blanke

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLove this product. Bought it so that I can use when working from home rather than putting the heating on. I find that as a blanket itself it’s actually really warm and thick so for half of the day it keeps me really warm just as a blanket. Then when I do put the heat setting on I only put it at a low level, maybe 5, for an hour, and that’s plenty as I find the blanket does retain the heat quite well even after I turn the heat off.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI bought 3 of these for my family to use on the sofa, in my house. I was not sure if they would get used to be honest. But they certainly do get used!

They are comfortable, warm up fairly fast. Easily controllable. I believe they are washable, but I have not tried that yet.

They get used daily in my house. And people that come to visit, they seem impressed with them and some have bought them, after trying my ones.

These are not the cheapest though, hopefully they will last a long time, to get the moneys worth.

It is easy to use with on/off button, heat by numbers and there’s also a timer which i am yet to try. The blanket is very soft and i think would be fairly warm( due to quite thick material) without the heat on. Have bought 2 others for family and they are happy

I love this! I wasn’t sure initially when a friend sent the link for this item, but electric blankets have certainly come a long way. I really wasn’t sure about this product. It did not seem to heat evenly or produce the direct type of heat I expected. However that aside, this blanket is cozy and does work. The heat is subtle and gradual. I set it on the 7 setting and it doesn’t take long to start feeling the warmth. After a couple of hours of baking, you want to throw it off and turn it down a couple of notches, so I am very pleased with this little investment. I have washed it and, against advice, I tumble dried it on a low heat and it works just fine.

This heated blanket is marvellous! I bought the largest one – 180x200cm, and it keeps me snug as a bug in a rug daily for a tenth of the cost per hour of my ceramic heater – it only costs 4 or 5 pence per hour to run it.

It’s very soft and snuggly, I just put it over my lap whilst in the lounge and it keeps me toasty through the cold evenings. If it’s really cold I can pull it up-to my shoulders and I no longer feel the chill.

Given the cost of electricity and the low temperatures of recent days, can you really afford to be without one? Two thumbs up from me!

Soft, and great heat, have used this most days since I brought it, my only criticism is there was a tiny pluck in the grey sided material, which as you can see has just extended along the material, this doesn’t stop it working, just looking very untidy now and only 2 months old sadly

Was so happy with my purchase

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI decided it was time to try one of these heated blankets and after quite a search came upon this one. It was well priced and had good reviews so I ordered it. The blanket hasn’t disappointed at all, it’s soft and thick, the heating elements are well hidden internally to the extent they are barely noticeable in the material. The blanket heats up quite rapidly and I have found that the #1 setting is easily warm enough.

I’ve suffered with cold feet for years but this completely fixes the issue while sitting with the blanket over my feet and legs, I’ve founded it’s almost unnecessary to use the central heating in the evening due to how warm the blanket is.

Definitely a 10/10 recommendation for this product.

    An excellent produc

We are an electric throw family and have them all over the house. We use them a lot, especially now with the cost of living crisis, they are a great way of staying warm.

This blanket, is by far, the best one I have. It is thick and luxurious and the fleece lining makes it really cosy. The 9 heat and time settings allow for different combinations based on need and works well for us. I will be adding a few more to my collection.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersYes this saves money!

So being a stickler for trying to save money I wanted to try this blanket Vs putting the central heating on. Although our house is ‘cold’ this blanket provides an increase in temperature that means we do not need to have the central heating on.

At 150w, having it on for 1 hour it costs between 0.05-0.10 (based on 0.33 kWh) per hour to stay warm. Our central heating cost would sit around 1.00-2.00 per hour and not really heat the house to a comfortable temp (old house meaning poor insulation).

Therefore this is a good 5* for me!

Even if you don’t turn it on, it’s warm and snuggly, my reason for getting this was I had recently wash and dried my electric blanket, and couldn’t face putting it on the bed,as a wheelchair user bed making is a huge pain in the butt, so I thought I would give this a go. So glad I did having read some reviews, thought I’d make my bed as normal, top sheet and duvet and the once in bed but this blanket on top set to high heat for two hours and it works wonderfully, I stay all warm and snuggly love it best thing I have bought in ages

As I’m having chemotherapy at the moment and seem to be colder than usual. So when I saw this heated throw I thought I’d try it. It is wonderful. 9 settings + a H control meaning hot I guess. It doesn’t take long to heat up then im finding the setting between 1 and 2 is enough . No more socks or dressing gown or wholly hat needed. This is the best buy I’ve bought in ages. So warm and toastie it’s lovely. I don’t even bother putting the heating on if I’m home alone. It’s also has a timer you can use which I do just incase I have a nap because I’m usually tired. Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersSo my mum like many couldn’t afford to have the heating on over the winter and she was always cold. I have had my own electric throw for many years and love mine. I found this one on sale for Black Friday and paid 60 for it.

She loves it, she has it draped over the sofa so it’s easier to get under and get warm. She found she got too warm on the top setting so keeps it around 7/8 out of 10 once it has first heated up. She was really impressed with how quickly it started to heat up and likes that it had a timer function so she doesn’t have to worry about accidentally leaving it on.

She honestly told me her quality of life had improved since getting this as she is no longer slowly freezing or spending her day feeling down because of how cold it is.

Everyone in my family now has an electric throw to help stay warm and keep the energy bills down.

Would I recommend ? YES. And I do every chance I get.

Golden Review Award: 33 From Our UsersAs the cold nights draw in and the fuel bills skyrocket I thought it was time to invest in a quality heated blanket. I didn’t really know anything about electric blankets as the last time I had one was 40 years ago, when they were about safe as laying on a bed of nails.
Thankfully times have changed and rigorous regulations mean electric blankets these days are a far more safer option. I splurged out on the Mia & Coco blanket (love the name – even sounds cosy ), which isn’t an under sheet blanket but an over one. This means you can wrap it around you whilst cocooned in a completely warm erm cocoon. It’s just a very normal soft blanket unlike the stiff electric blankets of yester year.

The outside is extremely satisfying to the touch. Sometimes you can touch a really soft material and it has very unpleasant feeling that makes your fingernails tingle. Not the case here – It’s so soft it feels like you’re touching a cloud.. The inside it’s kind of like a fleecy material which is equally as soft. The cord which is attached to a standard UK plug is thankfully long enough so you can watch tv on the sofa without it tugging away at you with a short cord. You can also pull out the cord to make it into a normal blanket.

There’s 2 controls, one for the heat , and one for the timer (useful if you don’t want to wake up at 4 in the morning boiling hot). The heating setting goes up to 9 – which in my opinion is far too hot ( a good thing !). I usually have it around 4 or 5, which is perfect.

The great thing about this is , you can lay it on top of your bed (I have a really thick quilt), and it warms up the entire bed including the mattress (This blanket comfortable covers about 2/3 of a double bed). So no need for an under sheet electric blanket, or a hot water bottle.

I washed the blanket (recommends 30 degrees on a gentle wash ), but I put it on a a 40 degrees aggressive sports wash with a 1200 spin, and it still works fine. I’d still stick with the gentler wash though for longevity!

I ended up buying 2 as I was so impressed. I’ve got it on now while typing this review, with the central heating off, and I’m so cosy and warm, and saving money.

Electric blankets have certainly moved on!

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersOMG, how have I not bought one of these before! Got this when my heating packed up for a few weeks and I was freezing! I didn’t want an electric blanket to use at night as that won’t warm me up during the day (unless I go back to bed!), but this seemed the better solution. It’s lovely and soft, like a fleecy material – grey on one side, cream on the other. You can feel the wiring running through it, but not so it bothers you when you’ve got it over you. It comes with an electric lead which you can unplug from the blanket if you don’t want to use it as a heated throw. The lead has a controller on it where you can turn the heat up or down by different heat levels – 9 being the highest. It warms up super quick and once tucked up underneath it on a 9 level I was so toasty I didn’t want to move! Couple of niggles though – where you plug it in on the blanket feels quite heavy when you’ve got the plug in and I found myself getting tangled up in the cord when I wanted to get up or sit down. As it’s not very big, I found it was easier to have the power cord up the top which helped with this, but if I turned it round and had it by my feet it did get in the way! It is more of a single size, if I turned it round lengthways me and my husband could just about get under it if we snuggled together! It was good value for money and quite efficient energy wise, costing a lot less to run than what I thought it would (certainly cheaper than having the heating on!) Really happy with this, but need to buy another two so we can all have one!

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersMy fave thing about this heated blanket is the fact that it’s pretty warm even when not plugged in and this is due to the fact that it has fleece on one side.

My son was always taking my electric blanket when we lived in the same house and not a lot has changed!!! Now he has his own place he had the nerve to take mine home with him unbeknownst to me, well that was until it got cold and I couldn’t find it. Soon found out it was boyo and I demanded it back. So I decided to get his own for Christmas

The one I had was not in stock which is just as well as I got him this one instead. It’s much better than mine.

It’s warm, snuggly, easy to operate, heats up super fast and pretty good quality too. Although if crumpled it can affect the heat coverage

This blanket is mostly everything id expect from a decent heated blanket

My sons been using it daily since Christmas and he loves it and his only complaint is that it could have been bigger. He is 5.10″ and it doesn’t cover his whole body fully but says it’ll do! I wish I’d gone for a larger size

It can be washed. I’d recommend a cool wash and obviously disconnect the cable and make sure it’s throughly dried before reconnecting

In terms of longevity I’ll have to wait and see. I’ve had mine for over 3 years and it’s still going strong. This is my expectation of this one too!

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersPurchased two of these products, for my wife and daughter. Was unsure at first as they seemed on the pricier side to what they were previously offered at, but given the present situation I am not surprised. The products themselves are really lovely, with plenty of scope for setting temp. and timer, and easy to use. Got the larger size which is like a small double, but perfectly adequate. The best thing about these are the fact you can wrap them directly around you, unlike heated under and over blankets, and these are of course much more softer. I have given 4 stars overall as I don’t yet know what the longevity of the product is like. Hopefully they will last a long time. Would definitely recommend these though, with the added bonus of being very cheap to ru

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersIs very soft and warm without being switched on.
Heat output is good, but is a bit patchy.
It works well for me as I’m the only one that uses it, but wouldn’t be as good if I was sharing it as wouldn’t be able to hog the most heated bits.
I do find I need it on maximum to be efficient enough to warm me.
It was reduced when I purchased so that meant we kept it and it was also extremely cold so didn’t want to be without one at all.
I’ve never had one before so nothing to compare to.
I would recommend if you would be using it as I do, and at the reduced price I paid for it.

Golden Review Award: 70 From Our UsersBought two of these, both working perfectly, look great. Seem to be decent quality so far.

I’ve been able to turn the heating off in the bedroom, this set to low keeps me toasty warm all night. Often when your cold the body concentrates the heat in its core meaning fingers and toes can get cold. With this because my core is lovely and warm my fingers and toes all feel normal as if the rooom were hot, it’s between 12C and 15C in here but it feels like 21C+. I’d bern running a 1kw fire, sometimes up to 2kw, that’s reduced to about 60w, that’s a huge saving, I hope I can keep that up, my bill might not make me cry!

Some people have said some daft things on here, let’s see if I can answer a few points. Can you feel the wires.of course you can but they’re thinner than straws and very flexible, you’re never going to vanish them away. Do you get hot spots. To a degree (ha!) yes you do, y that’s not bad, it’s just the way it works, if your absorbing the heat that bit is going to be cooler to the touch than a spot that didn’t touch you. It’s not dangerous, it’s just physics! You’re not being robbed of warmth by a bad bit, you absorbed the heat there, that means it’s working fine. (Obviously if it’s glowing red or ridiculously hot, not just toasty warm that might be a fault)

Oh and on the point of faults. Amazon are responsible for all sales, if you do get a faulty one, god forbid, it is them that must refund you, don’t deal with the manufacturer or “seller” deal with Amazon, you paid them the money. This has to do with money laundering laws too. So don’t get fobbed off.

I’d recommend this, if it saves the kind of money it can do over the winter I don’t care if it only lasts a year. It might last 2 or 3. Personally I’m not going to keep it past that, the older they get the less reliable they are, that’s just a general fact about these devices. It will have saved many times it’s cost price so I can’t complain.

I almost forgot, it’s super soft a wool effect underneath and a velvet effect on top.

One last thing, don’t run it on high, you don’t need it. It raises your temperature gently, you can start off on high to get warm quickly but turn it down. I run mine on 3. Not only does that save energy, it stops you overheating, it’s not healthy to be that hot, just mind your setting and reduce it as you warm up.
