Nice monitor works well however it picks motion up when no one is in the room
Picture quality on the device could be better for the price however if you use the app the picture quality is brilliant.
This is a reasonable quality baby monitor. It has a large 4.3″ display which helps you to clearly see your baby, with the ability to zoom in using the digital zoom function. This camera also has added features such as a built in room temperature monitor and a two-way talk feature, with a sensitive microphone, to allow you to hear your baby and speak to them. The camera also has 5 built in lullabies to comfort and soothe your baby when trying to get them to settle to sleep.
This camera boasts a range of up to 1,000ft (300m) for staying connected to your home wifi and you can link up to 4 cameras, so you can place them around your babies room or in other rooms in the home (extra cameras sold separately).
At time of review, the camera is quite expensive however, at almost 110.
Love this camera- makes me feel so relaxed when my baby is in bed- love that you can speak through it!
Bought this for my daughter so she can see both children in their rooms it is amazing
Good baby monitor that is simple to set up and has good picture quality. Four stars.
The quality of the camera is good also the sound.
Having used motorola monitor MBP50 for my first born with no issues whatsover i decided to go for this model when i got my second born so i can monitor them while sleeping at the same time rather than carrying two monitors. Two weeks in and i would say it is a fairly good monitor, keeps me at ease by being able to see both my kids whilst they are sleeping. My main issue so far is the cameras cannot be moved/tilted remotely which makes it quite an inconvenience as my toddler who now sleeps in an adult bed moves around the bed whilst sleeping i therefore have to tiptoe into the room to position the camera where i would see her. Also, the monitor’s charge doesnt seem to last long as my older model i bet cause its two cameras at the same time so it drains the charge quite quickly apart from that it does what it says on the tin
Update:
After a couple of months the ring stand at the back no longer works and we have to hold the camera with other items, quite an inconvenience!
So, the main thing here is that the monitor offers a little more re-assurance to parents. This one, comes with a camera which when I first became a father was not generally the case. The picture is very good and the night vision not bad at all. It will never replace the parent paying the baby a visit to see they are ok – which we did and do so many times it makes me wonder the point of this, but actually, it is nice to have it so you can just keep a check on baby as they sleep. Very good indeed and very nicely made.
This Motorola Ease 34 – Baby Monitor with Camera – 4.3 Inch Video Baby Monitor HD Display – Night Vision, Bidirectional Communication, Lullabies, Zoom, Room Temperature Monitoring – White is great! nice quality! Picture quality is great! Easy to use! easy to install! easy to monitor our little one! Night vision is good! works perfectly fine! Sound quality is great! Good value for money
AMAZING! The family loved it. The camera is good quality, easy to setup and amazing size. Small but mighty! Worth every penny.
The baby monitor works fine and is already paired out the box so it’s just plug and play. Picture quality and controls are pretty standard and nothing out of the ordinary. Cheaper baby monitors with the same features and quality are available. The monitor and camera are quite compact so that could be something you might want, personally I prefer a bigger monitor. If you want a more compact system then it might be worth a look.

SIZE
** The monitor measures 21 cm in width x 8 cm in height and 6.5 cm in depth.
** The colour display screen measures 4.3″ on the diagonal.
COLOUR/ DESIGN / QUALITY
** This Motorola baby monitor is extremely well made and works just as I would expect from a company such as Motorola.
IMPORTANT/WORTH NOTING
** This baby monitor takes 1 x AAA battery which I was happy to see included.
** I think it’s important to mention that on the Amazon product page, about halfway down is a link to download the user manual in pdf format.
FEATURES I LIKE
** The two-way talking function
** The good sized screen
** The digital zoom
** The ability to be able to add four extra cameras, this is great if you have more than one child that you wish to keep your eye on.
** The infrared night vision which is excellent
** Being able to monitor the room temperature
** Long connection range up to 1000 ft … brilliant if you’re moving room to room
** The microphone picks up every little sound as it’s very sensitive to noise.
** This monitor comes with 5 lullabies already pre-loaded
I DISLIKE
** Nothing really to dislike about this product, it’s easy to set up, offers very good features and works really well.
IN USE
We have a granddaughter who is a little over a year old and who has just moved from my son and daughter-in-law’s bedroom into her own bedroom and this monitor has proved to be very useful in settling her into her new room.
Initially our granddaughter was understandably quite upset at being away from her mum and dad. However this baby monitor enabled her parents to soothe her, sing to her and talk to her without having to go into the room which would have unsettled her even more.
It’s been 4 weeks now and our granddaughter has fully settled into her new bedroom and the monitor is now not so often used to settle her but is used to monitor her throughout the night and make sure she’s safe.
PRICE
I think the price of 88.15 (price correct at the time of this review) is good considering all the features this baby monitor has to offer.
I have no problem in recommending this product
Thank you for reading and I hope you found my review helpful.
The wider angle view that’s available is not particularly wide angle. It shows a small part of the beds where our youngsters sleep, despite mounting the cameras some distance away.
Be nice to have an option to rotate the sound between the two cameras as well, but overall, rather good gear.
We’ve been using the monitor for about a month and are very pleased, It does everything we need it to and more.
It’s good design, the fact you can adjust the camera angle makes this so much easier to set up, excellent tilt and zoom.
Sound and picture quality are very good and clear. Camera is invasive in the dark – no noise or bright lights . Video quality is fab – nice and clear. Very good signal range, too. It seems very reliable unless some others we tried, hardily any delay in sound or picture, sound is actually picked up instantly. Cables length is decent.
This monitor has proved invaluable to help me keep an eye on my mother who has dementia whilst she is in bed. It has saved countless trips up and down stairs. As well as a picture it also has the facility for me to speak to her from downstairs. Well worth the price for the added peace of mind.
However the camera, It zooms in quite far, but when fully zoomed in, is not that great and blurry. It’s not crystal clear but it’s clear enough for me to see her face and eyes. And Occasionally Night vision switches itself on and off when it feels like, don’t know why.
Overall it’s a very good system, not too bad.
I ordered this for my daughter who recently gave us a new grandson and her old baby monitor had failed on her so this was a replacement.
My daughter keeps the base unit downstairs and sometimes will take it to bed with her and the camera is in the babies room upstairs. Her house is just a 50’s built semi-detached so it isn’t very big and she doesn’t have too much equipment that can cause interference.
On opening, this monitor looks very nicely made and comes complete with everything required to set it up and use it. Once we had it up and running which only took a short while we had the camera and monitor in the same room just for setting it up. There are a few options at this point which can be set and they are all self-explanatory and easy to do. Once we were happy with the picture and the settings my daughter took the camera up to the bedroom and we watched an empty cot for a short while, a bit like watching paint dry, lol. The picture quality during the day was exceptional and the night vision was good enough to see if there’s a problem with the baby.
She has been using this for four weeks now and for the first two weeks this device was working absolutely perfectly but it them started dropping the connection from time to Time. I checked her wifi and all seemed to be ok so we tried moving the base unit incase there was some interference blocking the signal but this made no difference. We found that by switching it off and on again that it would then work and we could see the picture perfectly but again after some time the connection would drop again.
I’m not at all sure what the problem is thats causing this issue and it was fine for the first two weeks, nothing was added to the home during that time so I can only assume that the baby monitor itself is at fault. This is a real shame as the devices look so good and when the picture and sound are working the quality is amazing.
I have still given this four stars as the build and design is so good, it might well be that this one is faulty or that there is some interference that we can’t pinpoint, either way it has to be mentioned as a problem.
My daughter is still using this and it works for much longer than the times that it’s off, she has got into the habit now of turning it off when she and the baby are together and only using it when baby is sleeping, so far doing it that way there hasn’t been another problem and she finds it to be far better in quality than her older unit, she especially likes the audio options for playing sound to help settle the baby which were not on her old device.
Well made with excellent video and audio quality, just be aware of any possible drop outs in connection.
Motorola VM35-2 / Ease 35 Twin Baby Monitor with 2 Cameras 5.0 Inch Video Baby Monitor HD Display Split Screen Display Night Vision Two Way Communication Lullabies Zoom Room Temperature, White
Priced at 153 at the time of writing this review, reduced from the normal selling price of 179.99
Coming from a brand like motorola, i expected this baby monitor to be of good quality with a good range of features, and it is both.
Initial set up takes a while, due to being rechargeable it requires a long charging period before first use.
The camera are a bit fiddly to get positioned correctly as they need to be adjusted manually and when used in split screen mode the image is cropped.
The 5 inch screen provides a really good quality image and for us is an ideal size.
The sound quality does let this baby monitor down somewhat though, which is why i have only given 4 stars rather than 5.
The night vision works well and the temperature display is a useful feature for making sure the temperature is just right in babies room.
So easy to set this monitor and camera up, we didn’t even need to read instructions as its ‘plug and play’ ease of use and set up right away and all the settings are easy to figure out too with two way talking, the lullabies and using the microphone and volume control etc.
The camera and the monitor are both white and very neat looking, and the monitor picture display is a decent size and excellent clear quality.
Night vision works effectively all the while monitoring the room temperature which is on display in the top left-hand corner.
Volume is easily controlled and there is also the option to play lullabies and relaxing sounds which is all built in to the monitor and the sound is excellent too.
The let down for me is the App connection which, although easy enough to download there is no ‘Ease 34’ model to connect with. I tried a load of different things to connect and pair but gave up in the end and I just won’t use this option and have now deleted the App.
So other than the App pain, I really do like both the camera (very manoeuvrable and can be easily adjusted to where you want it) and again — very impressed with the monitor display.
This review is for the Motorola Ease 34 – Baby Monitor with Camera – 4.3 Inch Video Baby Monitor HD Display – Night Vision, Bidirectional Communication, Lullabies, Zoom, Room Temperature Monitoring – White
Product arrived well packaged and on time. This baby monitor and camera are both well made. It was easy to setup and the range between the camera and mount is actually pretty good. The sound and video quality are also good. The device has a number of features as listed on the ad. For me this combines a some good features and will stop you from having to buy other items (thermometer for example).
Overall good quality product, would recommend.
After reviewing numerous items I finally settled on this one and haven’t been disappointed. It has all the functions I need and is really reliable.
The night vision is amazing, so is the sound and picture quality and to top it off, the screen is a great size with phenomenal camera movement and voice control.
We are really happy with the purchase. Clear image and good functionality. We don’t use the features that allow you to play music or speak to the baby, but we are really happy with it. No issues with connectivity (and our Internet isn’t the strongest) and the app works well on the mobile.
I don’t know how I’ve found time to write this with a newborn.
The baby monitor has a lot of features which are exactly what you need to keep an eye on your little one and even soothe them remotely with a lullaby or a few soothing words , or even a “get back in bed “order!
The supporting app is free and very good, it has lots of hints and tips about pregnancy and parent hood as well as supporting the monitor.
The monitor is easy to set up, has a good clear picture, intuitive controls and a special safety feature to keep the pictures and sounds only access to you, rather than the whole street being able to nosey in.
The lullabies are a really nice feature which are easy to incorporate into a healthy night time routine, setting the scene for sleep.
The camera is small and discreet, easy to position on a shelf or even hang on the wall from the key holes on the base, it has a good range of movement so can be angled easily to pick up the key area of the room.
The monitor has a large, clear screen, it is good to pop down next to you to allow you to keep an eye on things no matter where you are in the house.
We found connection and set up easy, using it intuitive and the picture/ sound quality excellent.
I was initially very disappointed because you certainly don’t get a sharp, clear picture through the video cameras. (It’s not terrible, but I’ve been spoilt by high end cameras.)
But, what’s really useful, is the row of indicator lights that show when there’s movement or sound.
You cannot move the camera up/down or side-to-side remotely.
This is Motorola Ease 35 Twin Baby Monitor – it comes with 2 Cameras.
Each camera has a plug as does the monitor so it can all be plugged in without the need for any batteries.
I have had 2 monitors from Motorola; (fairly new models 2 years old and a few months old one) one better than another!
However, I’ve managed to accidentally break the screen of one and because these 2 models were not linking (on the other monitor), I thought it would be a good idea to just buy this one.
The convincing part for me was ONE monitor for 2 cameras which were working 100%! And it did! The monitor is nice and big, when the baby sleeps in different timing than the toddler it’s just easy to select one camera. And the best is yet to come: the BATTERY!! Really really good! Lasts all day! I mean it’s on for all the naps and it doesn’t need recharge until nighttime.
We’ve had this for about one week now and I cannot recommend it enough! Also, sometimes the reviews will put me off so I risked and purchased it without reading the reviews.
Now after I’ve read a few negative reviews I can say that one camera has very clear vision (100/100) and the other one is a little bit blurry. Tbh, I don’t mind this because you can see what’s important (I.e if the child has eyes closed or not!) or whatever else you need to see. I would say it has a 80/100 clarity. To our needs, overall, it’s not even an issue compared with the pluses. So we will keep it. 🙂
Not a lot to dislike about this product. On opening I was really happy with the quality. The 5″ screen needs a 16 hour initial charge so is probably the only down side of this. The quality of the picture is sharp. I’ve taken a photo of this to see. The baby units are neat, not too big and you can attach them to the wall if that’s where you’d like to situate them. The units also tilt to the angle you require, which again was a nice touch. You can set the monitors up so baby can hear you too! Great product *****
Arrived super quick, 10 days ahead of schedule actually. Packaging was sensible, nothing over the top or not needed. Quick and simple set up, in fact it was opened set up and tested in less than 10 mins.
Picture quality is very good, sound quality excellent and the night vision provides non intrusive sight when needed the most.
In terms of ascetics, it is small enough to blend in, not the be all and end all but you don’t want a bulky item in your living room do you!?
We received these in return for our honest review.
This is a Motorola twin video monitor for 179.99 at the time of writing the review. Motorola is a well trusted brand for baby monitors which is reassuring for us.
We have a two year old, so don’t really need a camera for when she sleeps. However we employ a nanny on a daily basis so having two cameras in the two main rooms they play in, can be reassuring and can be nice to see them play and talk.
The display is 5 inch, which is an okay screen size for a baby monitor. It’s similar size to a large smartphone. If you’re using one monitor it gives you a very clear view of the room with good resolution. If you’re using both it’s good enough, but you might need to zoom in at times. It allows you to manually or automatically switch between screens. It covers a big range of space. I was happy with the quality of the night vision, it’s clear and you can see if the baby has their eyes open but we don’t really use it often at night.
It allows you to speak through it and listen to your baby through the ‘talk’ button. The microphone allows for clear and loud sound (although you can turn the volume down). Talking to them through can spook them out a little bit, my daughter wonders where my voice is coming from and why I’m not in the room, but it soon becomes fun for them. You can also play lullabies, and check the temperature of the room. This kind of makes it a 3 in 1 product.
It doesn’t allow you to control where the camera looks in the room remotely which is a negative and our previous cheap camera was able to move the focus remotely. So for the purpose I want it, I need to make sure the cameras are placed in a way to cover most of the room. But if you have a baby and only need to look at the cot then it’s fine.
The Hubble app works fine but it’s not necessary and set up was easy and quick. The battery lasts quite a few hours.
Goodness this is an expensive bit of kit!!! It was easy enough to set up, though a bit of a faff going through the buttons to get what you want….. The picture quality is good, not as good at night to good enough, has lots of features such as lullabies and a two way speaker, very concise bit of kit, but imo overpricced, and not necessarily needed I raised 6 babies with no camera, however the little beggers ended up in my bed so it would of been a pointless investment anyway, basically if u have th money it’s a good camera bit don’t get yourself in debt it’s not a necessity
We really could have done with this when our youngest was a baby as we had monitors in both the children’s bedrooms, one to keep an eye on the baby, and another to be able to check her big brother. We had one video monitor and one audio and switched them if big brother was unwell and we wanted to be able to check on him without disturbing him. With this, you have the benefits of two monitors, and the advantage of only one parent unit! Less things to charge and find a place for which is always a bonus.
Now we have this we can put them in two places in our youngest’s room – one pointed at the bed, and another at the door for when she inevitably gets up!
The charge on this lasts pretty well – it only started alerting that the battery was low after 3 nights (and 0 days as I turned it off). I did debate about giving this 5 stars and quite honestly that 5th star comes down to cost which is rather on the high side at about 170 currently; the picture image is good (not great) and the sound quality is very good.
This is a great monitor. It cycles between the cameras quickly rather than the bt 6000 which takes ages. It has good volume and picks up every noise. We bought this after getting through 1 bt 6000 and 2 bt 6000 smarts. All returned as they were either faulty or generally useless.
This camera is lacking remote pan and tilt that the bt 6000 has however we are more than happy with it after careful positioning.
The range is also great. Again this beats the bt 6000.
I ordered this as a gift, and the recipient was very pleased with it. Picture quality during the day is excellent but there is some degradation in darkness, although that’s to be expected with infrared images and the picture is still clearly visible.
The temperature display is a useful addition to the device, as is the zoom function, but the “integrated lullabies” aren’t that great.
Even if you only have one child. having two cameras can still be useful as thy can be set up in different rooms. However, this does seem a very expensive solution at the current price of 179.99 – it could work out much cheaper to buy two separate cameras with different monitors, which would also have the added benefit of being able to place the second monitor in a different room (maybe one of them could be placed in the bedroom for night time).
I am told that set up and use is simple, and the instructions easy to follow and overall the set is worth four stars – a price reduction of around 50 would earn it the extra star. Overall, though, if you are looking for a decent camera set and are not put off by the price, there is no reason not to choose this.
This twin baby monitor arrived well packed. Good instructions. Well made. From robust materials. Looks good too. The app is easy to download and connects quickly to the monitor. Must admit to not being aware that Motorola sell baby monitors as well as phones, they have done a good job with this item. Set up was easy. Some videos on YouTube helped as well. In use the pictures are clear even at night. The monitor screen can be split as this is the two cameras version.
Recommended
This is a well constructed and designed baby monitor unit that comes with two cameras. They are discreet and could be concealed reasonably well if required and do not need to be obviously out on display; they do not need to be a room feature to be able to adequately monitor your child. They are designed to clearly be able to withstand the odd knock and feel as though they should be durable and made to last.
The quick start guide provides the basic start up information that you need and, although these are intuitive to use, the button guide is handy to keep alongside the monitor for quick reference. I didn’t experience any issues setting these up or in use, albeit early days and, with an imminent house move, I don’t know whether things will be different in an older property with thicker walls.
Picture quality is good and certainly sufficiently detailed for monitoring purposes as it stands. It strikes me as a well thought out, dual camera monitoring station that is easy to use and will help set your mind at rest.
Not my first baby monitor but have to say one of the best we have had so far. Had it 4 days now and really impressed with it’s performance. Battery life has bee good lasted 3 days before only going down 1 bar. Picture quality is also very good. Night vision is clear too. There is setting to add extra cameras, adjust picture brightness and how long you want the screen on which is also a good feature to save battery. Sound quality is also top notch! Overall an impressive bit of baby kit! Would recommend!
I have previously used LG single camera with monitor but I never expected Motorola to build a high quality baby monitor with cameras and that too being able on a single screen with split screen monitor.
It has option of two way audio which is easy to use and helpful.
Pairing is simple and straightforward.
There is option for cameras to be free standing or hang it on the walls but screws are not supplied with it.
Battery usage is about 5 hours more then sufficient as I only use it during day time when our baby is having a nap for an hour or so.
Picture Quality is not bad too but again I can’t expect more for that price.
