Mr. Beams MB360XT Wireless Battery Operated outdoor Motion

I bought a set of four of these super lights. I have placed one in my front porch, as the current PIR lights pick up the motion as you access the porch from outside. However, when I leave the house, the porch is so dark I can’t see the door lock to get the key in and I’m perilously close to falling down the steps before the outside PIR picks up my movement and turns the lights on in the nick of time. Well no longer. As soon as I open the side door from the house this super light lights up the porch perfectly. I can now see to lock the door and go down the steps easily. I mounted it from the ceiling of the porch rather than drilling in to the stone and the adjustment allows the perfect angle for the PIR detector without the light shining right in our eyes, as it is angled down to the floor. The fact that it turns off so quickly suits my use and saves on the batteries. When I access the porch from the outside the outdoor PIR picks up the movement to turn my normal porch lights on and then because it is already light in porch this little light doesn’t activate…more battery saving!
Not quite decided where to put the other three yet but I’m sure I’ll think of somewhere! Can’t recommend them highly enough. Will update about battery longevity when I come to change them.
