Bought this for lighting at weddings for video. Beautiful clean light, very powerful. Perfect for what I need
This is my first studio light and was priced more affordable for me a newbie with portrait and macro photography. A tripod isn’t included but I, fortunately, had a spare.
It is easy to figure out how to adjust the brightness which can be done on the lamp but also through the remote.
I made my own black box to photo objects and the light reflects wonderfully off the walls. Very happy with this light.

The only thing that’s a pain is having to use the remote to put it in to standby. It could do with a button on the unit for this so you can forget about the remote, which I don’t really need.
I like this studio light a lot. It’s reasonably priced for what’s on offer. It’s not the brightest in the neweer range, but in this price range it’s plenty bright. One thing to note that this is not a studio flash it only emits continuous light, but for the most part it’s very much comparable to flashes. If anything it helps you dial in the right exposure setting with a continuous illumination rather than trying to figure out the right setting through trial and error. I also think that if you’re photographing a person it’s easier for them to get accostumed the continuous light rather than the flash…the downside would be not having the same light power during exposure. Speaking of which, brightness can be adjusted by a knob or the wireless remote, and the gradual control is fine allowing you to dial in how much light you actually need…altough most of the time I do go for the highest setting. The controls are easy to figure out and easily accessible through the back of the light. You will need to have a stand and a soft box for best results to soften up the light as without any modifier the light is strong and harsh resulting in very pronounced shadows. I did end up buying a light stand from neweer and a soft box as well these two were reasonably priced again and I would recommend buying neweer as you can be sure about compatibility. I especially liked the bowens mount on the light, as I bought a neweer soft box with bowens mount too so mounting it onto the light was super easy and hassle free. All in all this a great light and highly recommended. Might not be as durable as the pro grade ones but will cost you a fraction of their price. Excellent starter light.
I like neewer products they are an affordable alternative to big brands and sometimes they are not even less of a quality. Of course there are lesser products but I have to say this is quite a good quality product and we like it very much. My husband and I are into photography but most of our stuff is on a budget and I have to say that we bought another one of this after trying it. Package received in good time and product well protected .First impression are that it is a well-built, solid piece of equipment with a single LED capable of an output power of 100w . The light itself is clean and bright and I’ve seen a difference in the quality of my images. After a first few uses ,I have already grown to really like the product with is very easy to use.It also has a straightforward remote for those little adjustments in live view .

Is easy to use as there is everything that you need to know in instruction paper.
It is suitable for professional but beginning aswell.
There is different lighting and you can leave it where is more suitable for ambient, also you can change with remote control too.
Whrn I reviewed price was 135 it is expensive because there is no stand just the flashlight, you have to buy it separately.
Very bright and easy to carry around.
I would have appreciated a stand with it but good quality all the same.
