hese are really helpful for studio lights. really worth the buy
From very first moment you know the entire set is a good quality and that impression still lasts after using this set. I’m very happy owner of this and I can reccommend it to anyone who is looking for low cost and great results combined with quality. No noisy fans is a great if you’re looking for your videos. These are completely silent!
I use these lights to record video, and they work well. The only negatives I can find is that the lights don’t quite fit in the bag supplied unless fully disassembled, that and the screw attachment for the frame to the stand isn’t quite as sturdy as I would like.
All that said, the light quality is superb, they take up much less room than my previous Neewer softboxes. Would recommend, and would buy again.
I’m a beginner when it comes to lighting equipment, but I do know a thing or two. I did my research and settled for this product. It was not that hard setting it up, the lights were really bright for me. I bought them to brighten up the area surrounding my table and it did the job very well. Overall, im quite satisfied with this product.
I had 2 of these a while ago and sold them because I wasn’t using them much. Now, I need them again and just got a package with two at a very great price.
I was positively surprised to see the improvement on these LED panels: support for two batteries on the back instead of only one before, two different fixations for the U arm which now allows the tilting of the LED panel when the barn doors are mounted, a general better build and even the cheap tripods seems to be of better quality than before.
Very happy with this new version of my favorite LED panels.
To be picky, the only bad point will go to the bag which is useless if you do not expect to remove the U arms from the LED panels every time you store them.
Variable power makes these a great addition to my studio setup
Lights are great! Bright, flexible, good spread.
Bag however is annoying! You can’t fit the lights in when they’re in their mounting brackets which means a complete assembly and disassembly everytime you use them. Frustrating and obvious oversight. Tripods are fine, not the most robust, but do the job.
Great kit with a good range of colour temperature and plenty of brightness. Well made with quality materials. Sturdy stands for the lights, which are compact and lightweight.
A versatile 1×1 panel with added functions via smartphone app. Very happy with these lights, used for video shoots and Vlogging. Very easy to use and set up very quickly. Good light output and variable CT as well as a dimmer. Onboard dials mean you’re not reliant on having phone hooked up which is a good feature. One downside- I figured the kit with case for everything would be an asset but it’s not. The lights only fit in if you dismantle them which is boring. Will probably not bother with case in future. Other than that, a good buy for small filmmakers and photographers.
Be aware with small panels like this you get hard shadows unless you diffuse the light more than the small white diffuser sheet than comes in the pack. So eg watch out for harsh shadows on faces from glasses wearers.
