Great air purifier which works exactly as described, looks as good as described, and is durable enough that it’ll be used many times over again. Very easy to recommend.
Good multi purpose fan/heater
Inspired by Dyson, it doesn’t quite live up to its inspiration, but for the price it is a good alternative
It’s quiet due to it being blameless ,so not a distraction
Sleek, and modern looking this is a good addition to any home of office
When first used there is a slight plastic smell, but that soon disappears
Comes complete with remote control
Highly recommended
One of the key benefits of this 3in1 unit is its convenience and versatility. You don’t need to purchase separate devices for heating, purifying, and cooling the air in your home, which can save you money and space. Additionally, the ceramic heater and HEPA air purifier are designed to work together seamlessly, providing you with a comfortable and clean living environment.
As a person with noise issue sickness when sleeping ,I find this quite silent and comfortable to use.
I don’t know if there is a name for my problem ,but I simply can’t stand any loud continuous noise while sleeping.
Because of that I always have problems in the summer as I can’t use anything to help me cool down because of the noise.
I have tried this for an hour and luckily,I could fall asleep as normal.
Also ,I love that there are no blades to this fan as one thing that triggers my sickness is seeing the blades rotate.
To my surprise, this is not only a fan but it has multiple uses such a heater or air purifier.
In small words ,one device to cover all, after all you don’t want to spend money for three different products and have them all around the house 🙂
I find the design sleek and elegant ,it is not a sore to my eyes so It can be kept outside with no problems.
Easy to clean ,unlike the blades ones which tend to
collects dust and are hard to clean.
It has two operating methods ,buttons as well as a remote, thankfully as I tend to lose remotes all the time.
For the cold function it can get up to 9 levels where 9 is the coldest.
Heat function has 3 levels.
It has a temperature display which will show from time to time.
The best is the hour set up which means I can set it up to work only the amount of time desired without me needed to stop it.
As a mom of two little ones and a dog ,I find the fan pretty safe so I am not scared to use it when they are around.
Overall I am quite happy with the item ,good value for the price.
This is a good multipurpose fan/heater but it does have some limitations and I expected a little more for the price.
It looks good and I love the purple colour on the bladeless aperture.
The timer function is handy, especially if you’re using it to cool a bedroom during hot summer nights.
It’s quieter than a bladed fan/heater.
It swivels and tilts to distribute or direct heating/cooling.
It has a remote control BUT
There’s nowhere to store the remote and it’s quite large for so few buttons.
The instructions are unclear and difficult to follow.
There’s no temperature control – you can see the current temperature on the display but there’s no ability to maintain a set temperature.
The display goes to sleep during use, which is a positive if you’re using this device at night but not when you want to get the room to a particular temperature and you have to keep pressing settings on the remote to wake up the display.
So it’s great to have one multipurpose device rather than a separate heater, fan and air purifier and it’s worth getting if you’re not bothered about maintaining a particular temperature.
My review is based around the current selling price of 139.99 with 15% off voucher available
Pros:
Well made
Fair quality
Fair price
Bladeless
Cons:
No where to store the remote on the fan
Poorly written instructions
This fan has heating mode and normal mode, which is a normal fan. It has a HEPA filter which is the best available to help clean the air. I’m not sure if the replacements filters are easy to find. It seems to be very efficient when using the heating mode as I didn’t notice a high increase of energy use.
This is a good fan and fan heater at this price point, but I do have some concerns about the air purifying functionality….
With first use there was quite a plasticy smell that was blown out. This dissipated after a fair bit of use but is worth noting as you may want to run it a bit with the windows open at first
The fan has an amazing amount of tilt (almost 360 degrees – see collage photo), which I wasn’t expecting and a great wide horizontal rotation which provides very good room coverage. I’ve included a video of it in operation which I hope you find helpful.
The fan is well made at this price point, looks good with the flash of purple and has an easy to use and logical (for the most part), control panel. The panel is touchscreen and I found it easy to use. My only comment would be when switching to heat mode, the display shows a minus symbol next to each of the three heat levels. So it looks like your cooling when it sets to -2 for example.
What is also odd is the position of the HEPA filter, which sits right at the bottom of the fan. What that means is if you are using this on a carpet, the plastic feet naturally will sink into the carpet a little bit and the HEPA filter openings will be very close to, (if not on top of), the carpet, effectively sucking in air, dust from that spot in the carpet. In my opinion it would have been a far better design to have these intake perforations around the base, free from any form of contact or near contact, so it could “breathe” the air better and in turn filter out more dust, pollen and pollutants.
Also, I’m concerned about the availability of replacement HEPA filters and would love to have a replacement part number included in the instructions. You can remove the filter (see my photos), but how do I buy the correct replacement?
Overall, the fan speed is great, the heating side of things is effective, (though the plastic fan ring can get hot), and I love the idea of the HEPA filter. Also being “bladeless” means no more worries about young children and tiny fingers, which is a relief.
Therefore I think this fan is best suited to areas with hard floors, where the HEPA filter can “breathe” with better airflow, and that in our house, slightly limits where we can position it.
The base and filter have to be fitted to the bottom of the unit when unpacked.
As it sucks in air through the base maybe it seems a bit odd to stand it directly on a carpet so maybe better on a hard floor .
Weather has been too cold to test out fully the cool air function but it appears to have numerous speeds.
The heating part of it is quite impressive , there being three levels of instant heating. The top speed can be a little noisy.
In our house the remote has already ended up in a different room to the heater so just as well the controls are duplicated on the unit itself.
Slightly taller than I thought it would be but being of a slim build can be placed virtually anywhere near a plug.
This electric fan has 3 functions, cooling fan, heating fan and air purifier. It also comes complete with a remote control. There are 3 temperature settings as well as 9 speed settings and the fan can be set to oscillate, which helps with cooling/heating the room. You do get instructions but these are not clear, I suspect they have been translated into English. The fan was a bit nosey when switched on but not too distracting.
Easy to setup and programme for use, good heat and fan ability ait filters last a good while as well, good value for money
Ocean Loong Ceramic Heater & HEPA Air Purifier & Bladeless Tower Fan 3in1 is for me a good option for controlling the temperature for a smaller room. I do like the look and design of the fan as well as the fact it works on the same principle as the Dyson fan by cleaning and cooling the air through the main body of it.
It looks good and works well, fits nicely in a corner therefore can be discreetly kept in the corner of the room without causing an obstruction.
Good quality item which delivers good results.
Happy to recommend.
This plug and play, efficient and very responsive remote controlled, bottom base air feed intake with two layers HEPA filter heater and cooling tower simply delivers and stands against the main market competitors! This Stand on adjustable desktop design with oscillating feature makes this device and an ideal candidate for desktop on solutions but not only! Overall performance is more than satisfactory and providing the experience by inbuild onboard hardware by available pre set parameters same as the manufacturer specs .Overall this is very nice piece of kit worth looking in too and only hoping to see anti trip switch and extended menu temperature adjustability included in V2.0 version of this great device.Other than that I have got no major issues to share except mostly positive aspects I have shared above making me enable to recommend this device and further explore the use of this device .
Stylish fan/heater
This is a great plug in bladeless fan
It was really easy to set up and use
It has buttons on to control and also a remote control included which is perfect
It has hot and cold features and also can oscillate
It has a nice flow to it not overly powerful but cools/heats a room effectively
I was keen to review this fan, having owned a Dyson AM09 Hot and Cool Fan heater for 4 years, which uses a similar bladeless fan.
The Ocean Loong fan is much cheaper than our Dyson which is evident the moment it is taken out of the box from the build quality and design. It comes with operating instructions in poorly translated English and a simple remote control. There is no way of storing the remote control on or within the heater so this is likely to get lost quickly.
In cool mode, there are 9 levels of “wind power”. The highest level produces a reasonable degree of cooling without being very noisy. It also has a useful rotation function to distribute air around the room. This cooling function will be useful during the heat of summer, although it is not as powerful as the Tower Fan I use in my home gym whilst rowing.
Heater mode is activated by pressing an indistinctly labelled switch on the remote or on the main body of the fan. It appears to display the ambient temperature in degrees centigrade (although this is not mentioned in the manual) and then offers a choice of three levels of heating. They have missed a trick here as it cannot be that much more difficult to allow the user to set the desired temperature and use the thermostat to control the fan. The manual states “when the temperature reaches 35 degrees, it will automatically standby and automatically turn on the warm air mode.” I am not sure what this means. The ambient temperature in my house is currently 19 C — perhaps the fan will turn off if the room temperature is heated to 35 C, in which case, why can’t I just set my desired room temperature? However, looking through the specifications of similarly priced bladeless heaters currently offered by Amazon, all seem to have manual control of temperature, with thermostatically controlled output only available on premium models such as those by Dyson and Philip
That said, the heater does produce effective room heating and there is also a timer function so it can be used to provide a useful heating boost for 1 or 2 hours without worrying about the electricity bill — running cost are around 60 p per hour at current price capped tariffs.
We have a bedroom at the back of the house that is always colder since it doesn’t get the sun. In winter its a pain and we started to get damp and mold. I looked at options to get ‘smarter’ central heating, like individual radioatar thermostat valves but they were expensive and the radiators are all at the windows and not great at warming every part of the house.
We started using this, putting it on a 1hr timer in the morning and evneing, and with the oscillation on it gets the room really toasty and cosy fast. Damp has gone. Only problem I have now is that my wife loves having this on so much that I can’t get her to stop using it even though the weather is warming up again 🙂
So I do have the bigger older version of the heater but I must say I am a little gutted some features haven’t been updated, such as temperature control setting.
The heater itself is pretty good in a medium size room and will heat the room rather quickly.
There are several options from still to rotating, hot or cold features.
Not having blades or a grid makes it much easier to keep dust free which is a must for asthmatics for Example. The unit itself doesn’t get too hot either meaning it’s much safer to use around pets and children.
The heater isn’t silent but it also doesn’t produce an annoying amount of sound as it’s very quiet.
This also has the tip over safety feature so will automatically switch off.
I personally do feel it’s on the pricey side for what it is and isn’t the most energy-efficient heater in this price range.
Really well made and very modern way to heat room really quickly. I’m sure come summer it will keep my home cool aswell
Had the heater for a couple of days but there is a smell every time we switch it on and doesn’t go away, thought it was because it’s new but still here on second day, anyone any ideas why or is this normal and it will go within a few days. If the smell doesn’t go I’ll have to send it back which would be a shame as heater works well.
Please help
A lovely design which fits neatly in a modern house. This is just what needed for those cold morning starts. As soon as walk into the living room, turn on the fans heating setting, leave it on for 5-10 minutes then come back to a wonderfully warm room. Also great fan for summer. It has fully adjustable with 9 speeds that deliver a gentle breeze right up to a cool blast that circulates and cools the room nicely. Remote control is fantastic, no more getting out of bed to change settings or turn off, has its own place at the back of the unit.
Does not take up much space but heats the room very fast. Value for money
This Product is very well made and exudes a premium look and feel however it is not without its “blowbacks”. Let me explain >>>
Now if you had told me that the fan takes 110 seconds to stop spinning after you press the power off button I would first assume that it does this in the heated mode to cool down its own systems ready for a prolonged stasis. So then why does it also do it in cooling fan mode? Is it just a default for the sake of the former?? I can’t say but what I will say is that the extra unwanted heated/cooling air is annoying and I have never experienced this type of scenario with the multiple fan towers I have owned.
It is curious that the manufacturers thought it cool to put the controls/sensor/display at the base of the unit. While this may lend to a less intrusive finish it means that you need to less- naturally point down to get into the sensors field of sensitivity when dealing with the remote as opposed to the sensor being discretely located more central to the tower allowing a more general field of sensitivity whilst pointing at the product.
The controls on the unit are remarkably sensitive and responsive though I would have preferred for there to have been a dedicated Hot/Cold switch as (unlike the remote which simply alternates between the two modes) you have to cycle through all the heat levels just to come back round to the cooling.
In modern home life I’m afraid it is my personal opinion that 165cm of power cord for this type of product is frustrating bordering into infuriating. Not so much a problem if you have a plethora of plug sockets and extension cables.
All in all despite its cons this product is of such a standard that it maintains a four star stance against the gale of inspection. The osculation is silent and the fan speeds are “quiet” through to “quiet enough” as it becomes more audible in quicker revolutions per minute. More to focus is the actual change in climate this unit brings which is nothing short of satisfactory and satiating.
I actually love this heater it heats my 18ft living room up within minutes.
It’s not a silent heater but it’s not overbearing noisy.
Can be controlled by the remote which is really easy to use and no unnecessary features.
This heater is cheaper to run then the current heaters in my lounge.
This can be static or moving around by pressing on button.
I’ve ordered a white one also as that one is currently on offer.
Definitely a safe option around children.
Doesn’t take up my space but definitely whacks out some powerful heat
I highly recommend this heater and we’ve been through our fair share of plug in heaters in the past and this is the best one by fa
I personally think that the Ocean Loong bladeless heater fan model AB09 GS, is very modern looking. The fans Power cable measures approximately 165 cm in length, and the fan itself measures approximately 24 x 16 x 80 cm. The fan has 3 heat settings, which are high, medium and low. The speed heat settings cannot be adjusted, But when on the setting mode cool there is 10 speed options to choose from. The cool mode works like a usual fan by circulating the air. The fans remote is very responsive and lets you control all of the features at your fingertips, But you can also control the fan from the 4 touch sensors on the base. The fan also has a display that gives you all the relevant information you require, such as fan speed, temperature of the room etc. The fan is approximately 10 to 12 feet from our sitting position and is set at the high heat setting, which gives a flow of Constant warm air to make the room more cosy for those chilly days and nights. The fan after being on for an hour or so, doesn’t get hot to the touch, So it’s ideal for those who have small children especially being bladeless as well.
This is a powerful all-round fan and heater. Heats up in 3 seconds and using 1800W of heating power can warm up a 10-25m2 area very quickly.
Cool mode has 10 fan speeds and even with the highest fan speed you can still sleep due to how quiet this fan is. Cool only used 35W per hour.
I found in the bedroom because you can’t direct the head down that on the bedside table its too high to be effective. Will place on the floor during the summer months.
Cheap when you compare it with other bladeless products of well-known brands.
