It’s a very useful thing, but I think this brush cleans for a long time alternating between electric and manual.

I have been using electric toothbrush for long time. But just a basic one. I am very happy with this model and the app that makes sure you don’t miss any spot!

Well I can say this toothbrush is brilliant . Reading reviews I was very sceptical, soft buying as they said battery does not last ,well these people are not charging it properly . Mine last ages . If you do it right it lasts

Good quality and would recommend it to others. The battery is not great but is a minor thing.

A great toothbrush, love the travelling case I’ve never had one before, it also doubles as the charger which is so fabulously easy.
A good clean keeps you feeling fresh, I’m sure there are better ones out there for the price if on offer it’s a great toothbrush

I have ordered the Genius X deluxe version last week>
I always said I don’t really need an electric toothbrush and was really old school with my manual. I can say that I was actually wrong with my opinion.

Due to very sensitive gums, I always bleed every time i brushed my teeth, which even got worse now that I’m older.
Using the toothbrush the first time there was indeed some blood, but only a tiny amount of it which was probably caused by the fact that I didn’t knew how to handle it properly.
But already with the second use the gm bleeding has stopped.

It is only less than a week that I have my Genius X in use, but I already love it and I can finally enjoy brushing my teeth agai

Every time, the brushing position is not correct & need to move a few times before the position tracking works, the results means it took more than 20 seconds for brushing each section (6 sections in total – 3 on the upper & 3 on the lower teeth).

Didn’t realise how old my other brush was until I got this. The cleaning action is excellent, I can connect to Bluetooth easily and see if I am cleaning properly. The case is handy for keeping the brush head and handle in. Handy charging point, integral to the case. I did a lot of research before buying this and am so pleased I bought this one.

Good brush for the price I paid for, wouldn’t have bought it at the original price.
It does seem to clean better than the older model.
The travel case is bigger than I expected and also I didn’t realise it still needed to be connected to the wall socket to charge

The only con I can think of is that AI is sometimes wrong. But I disagree that the app is useless at all. There is some room for improvement in terms of the accuracy of the AI but it is still accurate most of the time and it gamifies the tooth brushing, and it lets you see what parts you didn’t brush yet as you are brushing so you can brush your teeth evenly. So even though it is correct that usually app for a toothbrush is useless, for my usage this is the exception to the rule.

    It also brushes quite well.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy old toothbrush needed recharging more often and seemed to have lost some its power so I picked this one to replace it. I did use the app for the first few days but haven’t since. To be honest, I do quite like the way the app shows how long you are spending on brushing each area, so I might go back to using it sometimes. This toothbrush is definitely more powerful than my old one, and battery life last longer which is exactly what I wanted. I love the rose gold colour, and it feels really nice to hold. I always use Oral B brushes and find them to be excellent quality.

I saw lots opposing reviews about the Bluetooth “you won’t use it” “doesn’t work”. Since I’ve got the tooth brush I used the Bluetooth the first couple days as it taught me where and how to brush those are areas … now I use it once a week to just check I’m still doing a thorough clean. The battery is great. And the settings on the toothbrush seem to be doing what they say! Overall mouth feels cleaner every time !

The bluetooth connectivity works great with the app and even for the short time I’ve been trying the tooth brushing programmes I can see and feel a difference in my teeth. The battery really falls short of the “up to two week charge” stated in the description. Brushing twice a day for between 2-3 minutes has meant me charging every 5-6 days.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI am genuinely after one use really happy with this toothbrush it’s going to change my habits for the better. I bought it on one of Amazon’s flash deal of the day so it would have been 96 but I used a Amazon voucher so paid less. Would I pay usual retail price hmmm honestly think If money was no obstacle yes but as we’ve got Covid to deal with yes I’d say it’s pricey but on this deal so worth it. I love the case, the fact you can charge a phone on it as well great for weekends away, the customization of the toothbrush colour for the light is great. Very well made & best of all the actual different brush settings. Who knew there was one for your tongue. Also I find the app great, I have gum trouble & this app will hold me accountable but has actually also set me a plan for 54 days to get my gums looking better & ultimately more healthy. I like how it’s prompting me on what for morning & afternoon & it’s telling me about my brush coverage. All in all if you want to be accountable for your teeth & gums great this will I hope save me less visits to the hygienist so money saved! All in all a great buy my mouth feels so clean & yes you take your phone with you when you brush your teeth but it’s only 2 minutes or your life!

Great toothbrush if on offer def buy it!

This is a nice electric toothbrush. I get about 7 days use out of the battery using it for around 3minutes twice a day. If you use it for less you will get longer out of the battery.

It’s a beautiful colour and the case is lovely as well so I can’t wait to test it out when I go travelling.

I have more issues with the app than the brush or maybe it goes hand in hand. The Bluetooth seems to work well and what I do like is the timer function, and it tells you if you are putting too much pressure on your teeth when you brush which I discovered I was doing a lot. So that’s really helped me to not brush as hard. However it seems to have some issues with identifying which teeth you are brushing. I could be brushing my bottom teeth and the app shows it as the top so it has some issues there which is probably my main annoyance but again that’s more on the app.

Overall it’s a beautiful brush and case with various different functions. However I bought this on sale and don’t think I’d pay full price for i

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI really like this toothbrush.

The light on the back that flashes red when you press too hard is cool. I mainly use the daily clean, whitening and tongue modes.

The app is pretty cool, I’ve used this brush for a couple of weeks now and battery life is good I probably get 4 days up to a week.

I used the app more at the start, now I can’t really be bothered. It was what initially made me pay more for this particular brush (I’m a massive techy) but the brush does a nice job of vibrating when the 2 mins are up so I don’t feel like I NEED it.

My teeth do feel a-maz-ing! So clean and tingly after I’ve used it! I have noticed a difference in plaque and general whitening. I clean twice a day and it’s getting there. I think after several months it’ll be so much better so I’ll see how it goes.

The heads are pretty easy to buy. I got a spare pack of 12 on amazon cheap enough.

Brush is a lovely weight, feels nice and grippy on the back. Stays clean, love the charging case. I always put it back in its case and plug in beside my bed every few nights. Never have a problem with charge really.

Overall I think yes its pricey but it’s the best brush I’ve ever had. I’m glad I bought it.
-I don’t think you should get it if you just like the look of the app as you may go off it eventually.

    But yeah, great toothbrush!

Golden Review Award: 31 From Our UsersI have always been a Philips Sonicare advocate but after using this oral B model I have been completely won over. My teeth have never been cleaner and I love the 30 second timer reminding you to brush another area of the mouth. It has completely changed the way I brush my teeth.

I am however only giving 4 stars, as the bluetooth and phone app are a complete waste of time. It’s a novelty for the first week or so and you find yourself keen to keep checking in to see how well you have brushes but this soon just becomes annoying. If you don’t have your phone with you in the bathroom, your brush is not logged and you are sent constant reminders to your phone for the rest of the day, to brush your teeth. It also only stores details on the most recent brush so if you stop the brush and restart to brush your tongue for example that would be the brush logged. The app also disables all other brush settings on the toothbrush If you setup a brushing “goal”
The only good thing is that you can change timer duration via the app and light colour of the brush – but let face it you’d only do that once.

I cannot recommend this toothbrush enough. I really deliberated whether to buy it given the price tag but I’m so glad I did. I had a previous cheaper oral b toothbrush and it was fine but didn’t compare to this one. It just didn’t get the same clean. After the first clean I noticed the difference. My teeth felt cleaner as if I’d been to the hygienist. Within one week of using it, the plaque between my teeth is gone. My teeth have stopped bleeding and they look whiter. My gums looks healthier. It’s an extremely powerful toothbrush. The battery lasts ages and the different modes do make a difference. It warns you to move sections and if you’re brushing too hard. I will 100 per cent buy this again if I need to. I won’t ever go for the cheaper model again as I really see the difference. I did research a lot of videos and websites online and it was recommended.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI have sensitive teeth that have seen some intense orthodontic work on them in the past, and recently decided to invest in a so called ‘professional’ brush after a lifetime of using manual ones. I felt I need to up my oral hygiene game and have heard before that it’s too easy to damage your enamel using manuals.
I have never paid out so much for a toothbrush before, but I can honestly say this brush has been completely worth it so far. It comes with a clear instruction leaflet including a numbered diagram, which is a helpful reference for the multiple functions and charging process. The little symbols light up on the brush while using and you can easily switch modes while brushing.
Regarding the Oral B app this brush is meant to sync with, I was wary from seeing quite a number of negative reviews regarding, but have personally found it very useful indeed. My number one fault with toothbrushing seems to be applying too much pressure, and the app clearly tells you when you’ve done this. The only issue I’ve really had with the brush/app is that you must open the app before you brush if you wish the brush to log your session in.
Another aspect of this Oral B brush I am enjoying: it will warn you with a jolt while brushing if you have concentrated too much on one area, urging you to move on. My ‘brushing score’ on the app has crept up from 50% to 100% in a matter of days, and my teeth feel like they’ve had a scale and polish every day since using. I will NEVER use a manual brush again!
On top of flossing, this brush is an all-in-one that will noticeably improve your teeth, gums and brushing habits. Very happy.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI debated between this toothbrush and the 9000 genius. I decided to treat myself and purchase the more expensive AI toothbrush. I have personally never been a big fan of electric toothbrushes (although I only ever had a 30 one from boots). This has changed my opinion – my mouth feels incredibly clean. I like the fact I can track where I am brushing and ensure that every tooth has been cleaned. The pressure sensor is a nice extra, as the various cleaning modes.
The toothbrush arrived fully charged, with 4 of the heads (some reviews state they didn’t receive these?) The travel case is a nice touch, mine works perfectly and I payed extra for the nice pattern.
Annoyingly (for me), upon first use the brush informed me that I was brushing my teeth perfectly. In a way, I wanted it to tell me i had been doing it wrong and would change my life.
Despite that though, i do feel like I have peace of mind. My mouth feels incredible and the app has some helpful reminders.
I do love the toothbrush, but I’m unsure as to whether it is worth the full 170. If it comes on offer any further, then 100% go for it.

(The resale price on eBay is quite high. As there aren’t many around, one I had my eye on went for 107)

Really nice brush, but worth £170?
