Arrived promptly but didn’t work with the TV so needed a factory reset (With the TV, soundbar and Sky box switched on press 7&9 together for 3 seconds then press 1&3 together for 3 seconds) … once in setup, follow the instructions displayed on the TV link to your TV and soundbar and you’re away!
I didn’t try any of the cheaper options because the few negative reviews were ringing alarm bells.
This was quite expensive compared to others, but works perfectly.

Needed a new sky q remote. This one arrived next day. It was easy to connect to my Samsung TV. I also bought a gel cover for the remote, as the previous one was consently get dropped and eventually stopped working.
Strange and pretty sure I’ve followed instructions properly
To connect to your tv in order to ensure that the volume and mute works. Follow this simple steps:
1. Switch your sky box on and hold buttons 1 and 3 together till you see a flicker of red light from your remote.
2. Your tv automatically shows you a connect sky remote menu. Click on it and it’ll suggest that you enter your tv brand.
3. Once you’ve done that, it’ll ask for the model code. Type it in and voila, all your remote features including the volume and mute will work.

Exact replacement for a damaged remote control. There are many available so it is important to check that it is the correct one for the Sky box. Worked without any issues and set up was straightforward.
I bought this to replace the remote that was chewed up by the dog. It is a genuine Sky remote and came in Sky packaging. It does everything that my old one did before it became a toy for the dog.
Works fine.. bit fiddly to set up I thought, but works fine once you’ve got it going.
I do prefer the old sky handset. Much easier to use, but if you need a new one of these, this is the one you need for the Sky Q
