I was in two minds whether to purchase, unsure whether it would be an expensive gimmick.
However, I can honestly say that it definitely removes residual makeup/ dirt from a cleansed face that you wouldn’t imagine was there after regular cleansing . It has also left my skin smoother and brighter, pores far less visible and make up looks better on my skin and goes on more easily.
I m 55. I can only speak for myself, however, I’m happy that I bought it.
I like the massage and heat from the moisturiser session, but the cooling element is also pretty good. I have never had a facial, but this makes my skin feel good and potentially comparable to having one, as long as you follow the instructions.
It comes in a box but there isn’t a storage pouch, which is surprising for something at this price point. Although the box is strong and looks good from a gifting perspective, it isn’t really all that useful for storage, particularly not for something in daily use.
From my experience, it is definitely worth consideration.

This item comes nicely boxed, and would make a decent present for any beauty-lover in your life! In the box you get the device itself, a protective lid, a charging cable and plug, a charging stand, a clip to attach cotton pads to the device, and instructions. The only things you need to provide yourself are a cleanser or toner, and a moisturiser.
The device is easy to set up – you just charge it, press a button and go. The main button is used for on/off and to cycle through the 3 different modes. There are separate buttons to adjust heat and current but you can just stick with the pre-set ones if you want. The 3 modes are purify, for which you use a toner on a cotton pad after cleansing, moisturising, for which you use the device without a cotton pad, after applying moisturiser, and cooling, for which you again use the device without a pad. The first mode helps to remove extra dirt and oil, the second helps your moisturiser or serum to absorb more deeply, and the third helps to close the pores.
The device is not only simple to use, but also comfortable. It looks a little bulky so I expected it to be heavy, but actually it’s wonderfully lightweight. The metal top feels great against the skin – cooling even when not in cooling mode – and it slides easily over the skin without dragging.
It is of course expensive, and does add around five minutes to your daily routine, so it will be up to the individual whether it’s worth it, but if you’re spending a lot of money on face creams then you may as well take the time to ensure they are doing the best job they can, and this product is one way to do that!
I’ve been using this device for almost 5 weeks now and have to say that this is one of the best facial devices I’ve ever had, it is innovating and has different functions for you to choose from.

You need to charge before it’s first use and attach a cotton pad before switching on, once all of that is done you are good to go.
Although it has lots of benefits I still think it’s a bit overpriced.
This is a really lovely therapy, even if you’re doing it on yourself. The quality of this is so good. As you switch between the different setting the response is immediate, and you can set it on cold to use around your eyes to reduce puffiness, then using heat to increase blood flow on your face.
It uses a micro current to rejuvenate muscles giving the appearance of a mini facelift. It’s absolutely lovely and I will be using this on my friends as soon as it’s Covid safe to do so.
If you like going for facials this is a good buy as you can get a similar effect yourself at home and it will pay for itself in no time as it is roughly the cost of one electrical facial in a good salon.
Build quality is excellent as you would expect from this trusted brand.
Overall I’ve been pleasantly surprised by this, as I never really expected this to feel so good. I would recommend.
This brill rechargeable, handheld unit addresses the first point beautifully – it’s an absolute piece of cake to use. Literally a single button to operate – simply click to cycle through the different modes. There are two additional buttons to adjust the microcurrent and temperature settings, but we found the default settings just right and didn’t need to fiddle – they’re there if you need them. There’s a very funky coloured LED display to show current and temperature. The unit is also really light to hold / stow.
On the second point, we did find that we fell out of using the purifying mode after a few goes, mainly because of the extra step of attaching a pad – not something we’d use normally in any case, but many users will differ on this point.
However, the other two modes – moisturise and cooling – are fantastic, and are used without any additional attachments so no waste and really convenient. Moisturising mode uses a mild heat and the application of microcurrent, which is supposed to increase absorption of product into the face. It’s really pleasant to use and product does smooth in really nicely when massaged in with the head. The cooling effect is also surprisingly refreshing to use – and that head does get pretty cold! The cryo-effect leaves the face tingling and feeling noticeably more taut, and it seems particularly effective under the eyes. All in all, our favourite two out of the three functions are more than enough to justify using the device regularly (and loving it).
It charges quickly, sitting upright on its little plastic cradle, and the charge lasts well – with daily use, just over a week, we found. It also has a little protective hood for the metal head to keep it from getting scuffed.
Overall, so chuffed with it – it’s no hassle and feels like a wee treat to use, and the effect is noticeably beneficial to the look and feel of the skin. Well thought out, well designed, quality build – great stuff from Panasonic.
I love using this Panasonic toning device every day, it is definitely a treat for my skin. There are different modes to choose from.
Purifying mode is used with cleanser/toner on a cotton pad that is clamped to the metal surface, and is supposed to increase the effectiveness of the cleaser. I don’t really use this mode because the clamp doesn’t fit my reusable (washable) cotton pads as they are too thick – with disposible cotton pads it’s fine but I prefer not to use those. The pad does dry out quite quickly so you need to reapply the product onto the pad to continue.
Moisturing mode is what I use every day, you basically use the device after you have put cream on your skin. It heats up and makes the cream soak into the skin, so that after using the device you can feel that all the cream has been absorbed and it’s not sitting on your face like when you’ve just put it on.
The cooling mode I think is more useful if you have puffiness, it does get very cold and I’ve only used it on the under eye area a few times.
The battery lasts me about a week before it needs re-charging. The box contains the charger, cotton pad clamp and a cover for the metal part of the device. There is also a stand, which I use to stand the device up on the table so that it’s not rolling around in a drawer.
Overall, a very good device and one that I actually use – I do have several similar things in the drawer but I like this one best because the metal area is bigger and the whole device feels very sturdy and solidly-made.

There are a variety of modes that can be used, I’ve been regularly using the moisturising and cooling mode. The device needs a cotton pad to be attached with lotion applied before switching on, once ready to use switch on and slowly move across your skin whilst repeatedly pressing against the skin. This is approximately 3 minutes which is not a long time to get the results that this device achieved. My skin looks so much better. I wanted to minimise the look of my pores and I’m certainly on target to achieve this. The micro current switch can be set to low/high depending on individual choice.
There are different temperature settings including cooling which feels lovely on your skin. The device will massage products into your skin at a comfortable speed. It is light to hold and takes no time at all to work and will make a difference.
Salon treatments can get pricey, used over a few weeks the enhancer will quickly pay for itself. Having this type of quality skin treatment at home is amazing, I’ll be recommending it to friends and colleagues.

It take a awhile to get used to the device and to understand how to use it properly – but after that it’s brilliant!
I use it day and night with my beauty regime. Helps moisturiser to seep into your skin better and allows better value for money with your products.
Cooling aspect is my absolute favourite as it is really relaxing after a long day
Pricey investment, but totally worth it!
My partner has been using this to aid absorption of her daily night cream and she has found that the cream penetrates her skin much more deeply than simply rubbing it in. She said her skin feels a lot more smooth after using this and it also makes her night cream last a lot longer as she doesn’t have to use as much as this toner is so effective at applying the cream into the skin pores. It also makes her feel very relaxed as the toner gently and pleasantly massages the skin.
There is a full instruction manual included, as well as a quick start guide but I found the video by Amazon’s description to be the most useful. I charged the device using the AC power adaptor, it has a little stand to use for this. I found the different modes really effective and when it comes to cleansing, it’s amazing that even when I use a good quality cleanser my skin is obviously still harbouring some dirt because the cotton wool you use with this device always finds it!
After the cleansing, you change the device to the warming function and after applying serum/moisturiser you glide it over the skin to help with absorption and improve the moisturising effect. The cooling mode quickly cools the skin down, refining the skin surface and improving firmness. You need to use this every day and I prefer to use it in the evening. It has become a bit of a nighttime ritual for me now and already after a week or so I can see benefits. The fact that after four weeks wrinkle depth should be reduced is great motivation to keep going! Even now though, my skin seems much brighter and smoother.
I really like this device. It is very innovative and good quality and it doesn’t take that long to use each day and it’s actually quite relaxing, even for someone like me who is always in a hurry. It is definitely an investment but I believe it is worth it as it really helps your skin and makes your skincare work that little bit harder.
This is meant to moisturise and tone your skin then close the pores. It’s very quiet to use but you can really feel the micro urgent on your face. I tried the heat purifier first and was sorry to see that end as it felt so relaxing. I then put on moisturiser and used this to get it into my skin , this really worked and before I knew it using the micro current the cream had all but disappeared. Closing the pores I didn’t feel anything but not uf I should have. All in all a great little tool but no quite so portable as you can see it’s as big as my RV remote control but as I don’t intend taking it anywhere that’s irrelevant to me just thought I’d point it out. Very well packaged and if I got this as a gift I’d be extremely pleased. My skin feels great !!
