Wish I’d bought one sooner. I’ve stuck to Braun products for years and have been very happy but this machine knocks it out of the park. Trust me, don’t hesitate and treat yourself to one. Thank me later.

I’ve only done 1 leg so far, and I’m so impressed I’ve stopped to write this review. My old epilator packed in over a month ago, so I’m dealing with serious Yeti legs here (I’m on blood thinning medication, so can risk a manual shave). I love this, my leg is sooo smooth.
The unit is comfortable to hold, easy to change the heads and to clean. It’s not too noisy either, I’d say it’s quieter than my toothbrush.
It cannot be used while plugged in, and there is a little red light comes on to show it’s charging, once it’s ready the light goes out.
It only arrived yesterday so I haven’t used any of the other attachments yet, but I’m certainly looking forward to trying them out too.
This is honestly the best thing I’ve spent my Christmas money on in YEARS!

Wow, and I mean WOW! It’s fantastic 💖

I’m very fair, so my hairs are fine. I feel like this tears the hairs at the base rather than pulls them fully out. This is probably due to fair, fine hairs. My underarms are more corse and I do feel it works better their. So if you are dark haired I feel it will work well. I also love all the attachments! The facial one is lovely and the hard skin remover is excellent! It’s quick to charge and you can use in the shower.

Easy to use, gets the tiny hairs but does cause a lot of ingrown hairs which have now scarred my leg.

Takes a lot of effort initially… I need one full charge per leg. Alright if you constantly need smooth legs, but be sure to treat them to some extra exfoliation and lotion.

Have only used the epilator heads so far but really good. Did hurt the first time but used to it now

Pro: easy to use. 2 speed. Lots of different attachments. Good battery life and has plug attachment not a shaver attachment which I prefer. Does a decent job and attachments are a bonus

Con: quite rough on skin, feels quite dry after from the plastic shield/guide. Doesn’t seem to get quite as close to skin to get all hairs. Would like if the epilator part removed to clean

    Overall would buy agai

Great service and really good epilator. I didn’t know how bad my last one was until I tried this one. It’s brilliant. 🙂

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’m 60 years old and have been having my legs, underarms and bikini sugared or waxed for 40 years. I decided to try an epilator to save expensive trips to the salon so I spent some time looking through the reviews for quite a few epilators of varying prices. This is the one I decided upon and I can honestly say it is brilliant. It takes minutes to do your legs etc and I don’t get the red dot effect or bruising that I’d occasionally get at the salon. I haven’t tried it wet but can’t honestly see the point when you can do your legs so quickly. Normally I would have to endure weeks of hairy legs before my regular appointment came along but with this I can skip around my legs every few days if I need to. It doesn’t hurt, just the occasional prickly sensation which is nothing of note. I have nothing negative to say at all and on top of that, I will have recouped my money in no time!

I owned an epilator 15 years ago from Braun – SO PAINFUL. I took the plunge of buying this Phillips one due to reviews and I am SO happy I bought it. Not painful at all I’m shocked. I did both my legs and arms within 20 mins. Did it after my shower so I guess pores were open still. Have yet to use foot attachment and the skin brushes. Cleans easily too.
    Really happy with this product.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’ve been epilating for years, in a somewhat efficient somewhat pleasing way.. Then I decided to go for the ‘best’ option and I purchased an expensive home waxing kit. Perhaps the worst idea of my life. Anything you can ask from such an arduous experience – little pain, little mess, some efficiency, low frustration – home waxing is the opposite definition of all these. As if hair removal generally wasn’t already a torture in itself.. I went back to epilating, having been a Panasonic user later, I thought of getting the latest technology one. And OMG – I honestly cannot recommend this enough, it does the job painlessly, efficiently, the heads are all great including the spa/massage one. I am head-over-heels, I now look forward to my epilation day! Quick tip: there is one head for sensitive areas that works absolutely everywhere with minimum pain. I mean it. Everywhere. Seriously, buy it. I don’t work for Panasonic, but wouldn’t reject a job offer.

My previous epilator, a simple Phillips one, was with me for 7 years before it stopped working. I decided to get an upgrade and after reading the reviews, this is what I opted for; I’m so glad I did! There are so many different attachments, almost all of which I am using. This epilator grabs the smallest of hairs, and you can hardly feel it! The head design is fantastic for hard to reach areas. I love the fact that it has a light, making it obvious where you have missed a spot! I was initially apprehensive about it being cordless, and thus needing to charge it, however it charges really quickly and holds the charge for a while. This is a fantastic product!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve used epilators for years and I’m always apprehensive of trying new ones as I find they all work very differently. I’ve used ones before that have tugged on my skin and it’s been very painful.

Since my latest epilators broke, I decided to purchase this one and I honestly love it. I was amazed at how quiet it was compared to other epilators I have used in the past and it’s very gentle but so effective. It’s great that it’s cordless although it’s taken a bit of getting used to as I often forget to charge it back up!

It can be used both wet and dry although I mainly use it dry as I don’t feel as though it grips the hairs as well when they’re wet. If you’re new to epilating though, using it wet is a a good start as you can barely feel it. Having said that, as I’ve epilators for years, I’m used to it.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersLove this. Had a Braun silk epil which died on me after a few years (!) so got this. Very pleased, removes short hairs and has a double head so doesn’t miss as many hairs. Useful interchangeable heads for doing awkward areas and for shaping the lady garden. Also parts are waterproof, so easy to clean. Yet to use any face or exfoliating bits, but keen to try as have faith in this little machine. Charge lasts for ages and it charges quickly, under an hour.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersI have used Panasonic wet and dry epilators for years now and can’t recommend them highly enough. I have tried similar products from other market leading brands, but have found that they are not as easy or effective to use and have had problems with them losing charge. No such worries with the Panasonic! I replaced my last Wet and Dry when the battery started to wear but this was only after several years of intensive use and I felt that I certainly had my money’s worth.
I have been using epilators for the best part of 3 decades, so I am pretty much immune to any discomfort, but have no doubt that epilating in the bath or shower is much more comfortable and relaxing. Tools can be easily rinsed, but I pop the epilating head in some water with sterilising tablets regularly to keep it hygienic.

The two speed setting is useful, though I tend to stick to top speed. Even then I find that I have sufficient charge to cover both legs and my underarms and tidy my bikini line with plenty left over. I have dark, quite tough hair and the Panasonic handles it with ease.

The pumice attachment is a great addition and quickly smooths any rough patches on my feet. The exfoliating brushes are pleasant and relaxing to use and very gentle on my skin. Although the epilating function is what keeps me coming back, the additional tools are handy and great for a bit of whole body pampering.

I think this product will please both the experienced epilation devotee and the new user. Epilation is uncomfortable until you are used to it, but anyone who sticks with it should be delighted with results.

I’ve used an epilator for years and some much more expensive than this one but this is by far the best. Very easy on your skin and the attachments which I really didn’t think I’d use are fabulous

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersAs a first time user: First attempt not so successful as quite painful to epilate. Second attempt I persisted and the results are amazing. The ‘plucked chicken’ look settled down within a few hours – this will depend on skin type…… I am very impressed with this product especially the wet/dry. All the other extra functions are a bonus and the exfoliation mode is excellent.
I have very thick dark hair so am delighted to have found a product that actually removes those tricky hairs and has left me smooth……. long may it last.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersAbsolutely love this epilator, never tried epilation before so went for a one with multiple attachments I could still use if I didn’t like the epilator itself. So far it’s been about a month and not having to shave daily and feel horribly prickly stubble within hours of shaving has been great, only epilated twice so far, and my legs feel a lot softer and it seems like fewer hairs are actually growing back. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting an overall cheaper alternative to waxing, honestly does not hurt any more than waxing does.
Lost one star purely because I was sent a one with a charger for a European plug socket and I live in the UK, but that’s just a minor inconvenience fixed by a cheap adaptor.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAlthough this is a more superior replacement for my archaic Braun epilator, as feared from previous review: mine was a second & had clearly been PREVIOUSLY USED! The boxed had been opened and there were a few hairs present on the epilator head. Although this is not acceptable, I’m guessing this is why the price is so slow – you pay for what you get. Having said that, giving equipment a good clean, and all other items seeming unused (I could not be bothered with the palaver of sending it back) it works well, smoothly & painlessly removes hairs. The light is good and all in all happy with the product.

The shaving head isn’t brilliant, but all others are spot on! Love the brushes! Very, very easy to use and to clean! So in love with it that will purchase a second one for travels!

Golden Review Award: 37 From Our UsersAfter looking at all the epilators in the market I decided to purchase this. The epilator comes with 8 inter changeable heads. So far I have only used the main epilator function. I was quite wary at first as people told me they are so painful and it’s not worth it. I can tell you they were wrong. It did hurt at first but I purposely let my legs go full on caveman style before using to see the effect. I wouldn’t recommend that. It worked but was more painful due to the length. Once you have done it the first time it’s pretty easy to maintain and keep on top of and doesn’t hurt as much. It recommends using it every 2 weeks. There is however another epilator head for your legs/arms for people who have sensitive skin which you can use once a week. The head pushes the skin down and removes the hair with ease. For a multi function epilator it’s great because if you don’t feel like you can use the epilator, you can use the shave function, the exfoliate brushes, pumice stone and there’s even a function for your bikini line and arm pit hair. Most of these items can be used in the wet and dry but it states depending on the function where it can be used on the heads so you don’t get confused. The charge on the item was good. It advises it lasts roughly 30 minutes but I had used it for longer and it had no signs on the battery giving up on me. To charge the epilator it takes roughly 1 hour too.

For a hair removal item it’s quite pretty. The silver marble effect on the device makes it unique. On the soft and fast function it lights up green and red to help you visually see what setting it is on but it’s tricky to see unless your looking closely. The device has a white light on it to help you spot any stray hairs you might have missed while epilating. This light is bright than the green and red light so its hard to see them. This doesn’t bother me because you can tell the difference by the sound and I’d rather see stray hairs than pretty green and red lights. All in all I give this item 5 stars.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is a really excellent epilator, much better than the Silk-epil I used to have. I found it to be very efficient and not as painful as the other one. I’ve even managed to successfully use the small epilator head for underarms, etc, because it hasn’t been that painful. I always thought this would be far too agonising, but it is possible! The hard skin remover is really good, too. I already have one of these, but it uses a lot of batteries, whereas this one is rechargeable.I have used the exfoliation heads, too, but they don’t seem to do anything, to be honest. Overall, a really excellent epilator that’s worth the cost. It really does everything you could want it to very effectively and not too painfully.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersMy last epilator was like a mechanism of butchery compared with this little beauty. It still hurts yes, but it is much less painful than its predecessor, and much quieter, and the swivel head works a charm. I love all the extra attachments too. Highly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThe Panasonic 8 in 1 is a good value kit that centers around the 2 speed Epilator … with a range of attachments that means it will do so much more …

It is rechargeable, and after a half hour charge was ready to go … It arrived part charged, so would think an hour for a flat battery would do the job, and that should give you 30 minutes of use. As a safety measure, you can’t use the unit whilst plugged in (GB 3 pin), so is safe to use in the bath or shower.

My wife is well used to the hazards of an epilator, so am not going to pretend that the exercise is pain-free … for her, no better or worse than offerings from other manufacturers, but the pivoting head on the main epilator got a ‘thumbs-up’. What she did like was the range of add-ons, all quality items, for example, the epilator head for bikini line is a separate head, not just a shield or partial cover. She particularly liked the facial and body wash brushes, and the foot care attachment.

The shaver also has a flip up trimmer, and the whole lot goes in a handy drawstring bag … not super strong but it does the job.
Good value for money for what you get, and perfect for tucking into a suitcase to take on holiday.

Very good 8 in 1 set that does much more than hair removal.
