Been using this Panasonic razor for two week now. What a difference. I’d been using a razor with three spinning cutting heads and was a bit dubious about the old style foil heads on this razor but I’m very happy.
The razor is nearly as good as a wet shave when you use a little shaving foam. Even a dry shave is acceptable. Delighted I switched to Panasonic. Some reviews mention the noise. Yea it is louder than my previous ones but I don’t mind that. The noise is due to its cutting power. Well worth a buy.

First time with a Panasonic razor. Impressed! Very gentle on the skin and a close shave (with a little more time and perseverance).

This shaver is quieter than my 16 year old Panasonic, and shaves much closer.
I like the way it varies the power depending on the length of my stubble.
    Very pleased.

I recently purchased this Panasonic beard shaver and I have to say that I am impressed with its performance. It cuts very well and produces a close shave, much better than the Braun shaver I have used in the past that cost over 100.

One of the things I like about the Panasonic shaver is that it is lightweight and easy to clean. The battery life is also very good, lasting for several shaves before needing to be recharged.

One of the cons of the shaver is that it doesn’t come with a storage bag or case, which is something that many other shavers in this price range include. This is a bit of a bummer as it makes it harder to keep track of all the attachments.

Another downside is that the shaver is quite noisy. This isn’t a deal breaker for me, but it’s worth noting if you’re sensitive to loud noises.

Lastly, the foil replacements for the shaver are a bit expensive. This isn’t a huge issue since they don’t need to be replaced too frequently, but it’s something to keep in mind.

All things considered, I would give the Panasonic beard shaver 4 out of 5 stars. It’s a great shaver that gets the job done well, but there are a few areas where it could be improved upon.

First Panasonic shaver purchased, got to say i get a good clean shave.Takes abit longer to shave than a rotary shaver that im used to.lightweight and easy to use and handle.Only downside, its quite noisy, its sounds like a angry wasp…..but you get used to it.

you need to go over your face quite a few times to get a close shave but other then that it works a treat.

Bought this to replace a Braun shaver I previously had. That one didn’t seem to shave close even after changing the head. I read that Panasonic were very good at achieving a clean shave, and so far, I haven’t been disappointed. I do shave twice a day (as I get irritated by regrowth), and there is no skin irritation. Only had a few weeks, but pleased so far.

I have given an overall 4 stars mainly because the battery retains it’s charge far longer than any of my previous shavers. Performance – wise it takes longer for a shave than my previous Remington but it does eventually gives quite a good result.

Spent a long time deciding which brand / model to buy due to an impending hospital stay. Glad I bought this one as it seems to do exactly what I expected.. not quite as good as a razor but good enough for the price.

Have to get used to the sound of this high speed motor. It sounds a bit like a demented wasp. Shaves really well . The minus points would be 1. The foil can get hot so a lubricant of some sort will help and 2. The 2 pin plug is old fashioned these days.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI can’t wet shave. If I do I look like I’ve cut my throat so I’ve used electric shavers for 30 years. I’ve used Braun, Remington, Philips, etc. When I first used this shaver the motor sounded like a bees wing. I wasn’t impressed with the engine under the bonnet. It sounded weak as a kitten. But in fairness is gives a very close shave. I have to make a couple of passes like most shavers and it leaves a smooth finish. Under my neck the stubble is quite thick but tit makes short work of that. Very impressed so far and would highly recommend. My last 2 shavers were Braun so I fancied a change and the blade on this I found better than the Braun. Be warned, the first one or two shaves are very close and leave your face feeling raw and stinging a bit, however, that just might be my personal experience. Not complaining, just a very close shave.

Having had remington, braun and Philip shavers in the past I thought I’d give this Panasonic shaver a go and I certainly don’t regret it. In fact, this is the best shave I’ve had with an electric shaver, as close as a wet shave with no shaver burn. Would highly recommend.

Gery good and very quick shave, I really like this shaver, apart from the high pitched mosquito drone. Otherwise great.

This was a replacement for the same. It shaves ok but It feels a bit flimsy and the battery doesn’t last as long as the old one.

I’ve only had this product for a couple of weeks but so far so good. It gives a very good, quick, clean, close shave so no significant complaints. It would however have been nice if the shaver came with a case. A minor disappointment.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWhich shaver suits an individual depends on thickness of bristles and shaving technique and this shaver may not be for you. It does have a High speed motor helping to keep blades sharp and generally gives a good close shave. It is not the very closest shave nor does it deal with stray longer bristles particularly well but that slight extra ability is probably going to triple your initial purchase price.
What it does have is a quality battery which holds it charge and should like previous shavers last longer than the guarantee period unlike many from competitor manufacturers. When blades and foils begin to fail (and it takes a long time) they don’t chew your face up. If you have sensitive skin then you are unlikely to suffer with this razor. Cleaning the shaver is simple with a quick run under the tap. Five minutes charging probably allows a shave and full charging is pretty quick. The popup trimmer is in the logical place and works well (unlike some other models with a slide Action under your thumb) (Works well with stray long bristles as well). Extra blades might make a slight difference but will drain batteries and add weight so you probably will not miss them.
It could be improved with better torque and more flex in the head (not that you really notice the fixed head) and better low battery warning. For the price this is probably the best value shaver out there for me, although those with very thick bristles might find other shavers better.

I got this as a birthday present after my rotary-head shaver started to fall to bits. This shaver is very effective and gives a much quicker and closer shave than the old rotary shaver. I love the ultra-sonic cleaning function as it makes maintenance very quick and easy. The battery lasts me for 2 weeks on a charge.

This is the best electric shaver ive ever used! And ive had several! Philips, Braun to mention a few! It shaves very close, very quickly, and ive had it 7 days now, used it every day and ive only charged it once, on that day it arrived 7 days ago, and its still going!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBrilliant shaver! Way better then my Braun series 7 and about a third of the price too! After my weim chewed my last Panasonic shaver, I decided to go for a Braun series 7 based on the reviews. Big mistake. I’ve been totally underwhelmed by the Braun from the day I got it. It didn’t shave as close as my previous Panasonic and it was a faff to use the cleaning unit (and extra cost too). It then decided to give up the ghost after 18 months of use. Disappointing for a 150 shaver. So I decided to take a gamble with a much lower priced shaver. I knew it would be good being Panasonic but didn’t know how good (for the price) and so far I’ve not been disappointed. Straight away on the first shave I noticed how much more stubble the Panasonic removed with just one pass compared to the Braun and I have a relatively heavy growth. Doesn’t come with case, just a plastic protector for the foil but at this price I can’t complain. I noticed a few reviewers stating that their shaver didn’t come with the extra attachment but mine did. Learned my lesson, will stick to Panasonic shavers from now on!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve owned lots of razors over the years, from market leading Dutch, German, British, Japanese and Chinese manufacturers. This razor stands out as providing an equally effective close shave as the top end of the price range, and yet being as much value for money as shavers from the lower end of the price spectrum.
It does not tell you how much charge or shaving minutes remains – or how much you have used. It doesn’t tell you if you press too hard. It doesn’t have a cleaning station……what’s going on here??
Quite simply, it gives a fantastic close shave, works for a week or more on a (one hour) charge, is easy to either wash or brush clean, and is great value for money. What’s not to like?

It does give a close shave. It hasn’t snagged my beard – the high pitched motor might explain that. However, it does feel inexpensive. The claim that is has a greatly reduced price seems false. It works, but I miss the feel of a more expensive razor in my hand.

I’ve only used the item once but its gives a great shave. I had some skin scabs that would bleed and skin looked
slightly cut up and wasn’t entirely happy about the shave I was getting. Someone mentioned that electric shavers are good for sensitive skin. I tried this shaver and it was great, a very reasonable shave that doesn’t aggressively hurt my skin or cause any bleeding. Got the extra red trimming tool which is great too. Happy customer with this product. Thanks.

Sooooo pleased with this. I’ve never spent this much on shaving before but really glad I did. I’m 33 and have tried multi blade razors, safety razors, and electric rotary shavers with all sorts of different shaving creams, etc. All at some point either cut my face open or left me with ingrown hairs and really bad razor burn. I don’t get any of that with this foil razor. I can get almost as close a shave as I can with a safety razor with no injury to my face so I’m counting that as a big win. I prefer using it after I’m out of the shower with a bit of Proraso pre-shaving cream on. Seems to do the trick and leavesnmy face really smooth.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersHave been using electric razors for many years, and tried most respected makes. For the past five years I have used a Panasonic 4 blade razor,, and thinking it was time I had a new one, saw this new model , which was very reasonably priced so took a chance . Well , its a revelation. Cuts closer and quicker than I have ever before. experienced, , no need any more to take a wet shave for special occasions, this one is equal to it and quicker. An amazingly fast smooth shave.

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersI have previously owned 2 Panasonic and 2 Braun electric shavers and this is the best by miles. It is very quiet, compact and the shave is as close to a wet shave as I have experienced. I must add, I have full beard growth but it is not very tough. The previous Panasonic was a Which? best-buy at the time but this one is much better, and I mean much better. It has a useful trimming attachment, designed for beards but I use it to keep my unruly eyebrows under control and well-groomed. It is easy to clean and can be used wet, with or without foam, as well as dry. I tend to use it dry and it does not cause me any irritation or discomfort. Great value and very effective.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI have sensitive skin, I’ve been shaving for many years using Phillips high end shavers. The cost of replacing the cutter heads on my Phillips shaver was just below the cost of the Panasonic ES-LL21, and as I suffer from irritated skin even using gels and oils, decided to try the Panasonic ES-LL21 from the reviews as listed.
I was a bit apprehensive reading the reviews from Vine reviewers, but have not been disappointed. The Panasonic ES-LL21 gives a shave that feels close, smooth and effortless, leaving you skin equally smooth and irritant free which is a huge bonus to men with hard bristles and soft skin.
As far as this usage goes I cannot fault this shaver, it even comes with a beard cutting attachment, which as age progresses helps with bushy eyebrows!
So there you have it, a Panasonic ES-LL21 that cuts smoothly and without irritation, and a Phillips high end razor that is destined to remain in the cupboard unless somebody in the family wants to stump up the 50 odd for new heads and an inferior shave!

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersI’ve been shaving for many years now using many shavers being wet with foam and electric and I have got to say this is the best electric shaver I have ever had.It gives a shave so close and it is better any wet shavers with foam.
It is just amazing how close it cuts.
This is the last shaver I’m buying ever.
It is also so easy and effortless leaving you shin smooth and irritant free which is great as I have always suffered with this from other shavers.
    I cannot fault this shaver.
It is perfect and I am completely satisfied with it.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersI have sensitive skin, and what I like about this shaver is its very slightly arched blades, this helps when doing under the neck area, it picks up all the little stray hairs and leaves no irritation. I would also like to mention the icon indicators, when I first plugged it in to charge, it just shows the red plug icon, when it is fully charged after 1 hour this red plug icon will go out, I first thought why is the battery icon indicator light not coming on when I plugged it into the mains this is not the case the only time that the battery light will come on is when the battery is running low, so don’t get confused like I did 😀

on the performance of the shaver i’m pleased with it, it glides over the skin very well and leaves your skin very smooth, this was a dry shave, have not yet tried a wet shave.

overall I highly recommend this produc
