great phone have tried many, this is easy to set up, loud as husband hard of hearing we use louid speaker. great to hear who is calling also.
Apart from the annoying vocal confirmation of the number dialed/ received these phones are pretty good.
I’m happy.
Wearing hearing aid meant that using a handheld device is difficult to get in the right place – especially if you’re left handed! I bought this phone with 3 handsets, but was delighted to learn that I only had to programme one and the others picked up the info. Saved loads of time putting in my phone numbers etc. The answerphone set is small and easy to use, I like that it shows how many calls are waiting to be heard and I have three separate ring tones so that I know who is likely to be ringing before picking up.
The Block call button is a godsend too. Very pleased with it.
Love the fact it announces the caller name before I answer the phone.
Another good feature is it has a loud ring suitable for people with hearing problems.
A shame the price reduced after I bought i
Excellent for those who’s hearing is not so good and large buttons making it easier to use when vision is not clear.
We had some similar Panasonic’s, but after 25 years the screen started going.
I bought some BT 3570 phones couldn’t hear caller to point I had to tell them to ring my mobile. Dumped the BT ones, crossed my fingers and purchased these Panasonic’s.
They are much better than the BT ones. I can hear caller. Not quite as loud as our last Panasonic’s but seems none of them are whatever make.
I wear hearing aids each ear. My partner doesn’t wear hearing hearing aids but probably should. I tried these without my hearing aids and they were fine. Clarity is ok. Turning volume up is easy as on side so you can turn volume up whilst still at your ear if dexterity allows, there’s always that person you ask to hang on till you turn volume up and they carry on talking, but you can keep phone to ear with this one and turn up. Nice big buttons.
Yeah it’s a winner, until everyone can remember to ring mobile instead of landline.
Oh and we had sky ultra fast fibre put in last week, phones fine with that just plugs into back of hub.
Pros:
Handsets are a decent size with well spaced keys that have a positive click action. Display is clear and backlit when you need it. Plenty of menu options which are straightforward to setup. Useful volume control on handset.
Cons:
The base units are a bit small & wobbly. Answer phone base unit is good though.
Summary: good value, well made set of phones – recommended. Have bought Panasonic phones before that have provided reliable operation.
Instructions were clear so made it easy to set up, particularly like the call blocker for all the nuisance calls we get. Would recommend this product.
Replaced regular Panasonic phones as mom needed bigger buttons and louder volume.
Working well and easy to set up
Great phone, easy well lit buttons. Good spec and build
I purchased these phones for my 94 year old mother as she had started to receive automated scam calls. I reviewed many phones and picked these for their large button size, suitability for hearing aid wearers, the large bright black on white display, clear audio quality and last but not least automatic call blocking features. Mum was a bit overwhelmed to start with thinking she would never master her new phones, but with a bit of practice and a photographic instruction sheet, she is now as pleased as punch that she now makes and receives calls with ease and without having to deal with scam calls, I would highly recommend these phones.
Excellent product with clear quality, good volume and works well with hearing aids. Fairly easy to set up
Really happy with this purchase.
Wish I’d bought the 4 set not the 3 set – but will buy an extra handset sometime. If you have caller ID switched on it will actually speak who’s calling, ie when the phone rings it will tell you “Dad Calling” – which I find very useful. Answer phone etc is good.
Wish I bought white, black is a hard colour, but I didn’t see it in white – and anyway that shows all the hand marks.
Only possible criticism – the base units for the single handsets are quite light and easy to knock over. – Yes I’d buy it agai
At first unsure as have a pacemaker and lots of electric gadgets so didn’t know if suitable But ideal I can use to contact my family by putting volume on highest. The numbers are large so easier to use. I am still unsure whether I have to buy a battery charger and the exact batteries to buy
Bought these for my elderly mother. The big buttons ar great as she can see them without any trouble.
Very nice phone with clear readable screen but i would liked them to have a louder volume control for me with having hearing problems
But being able to put it to my earing aid with no whistling is a big plus sign for them
Very easy to use, it has extra functions on it that I haven’t had before which I’m using and love.
I do think the volume needs to be louder for hearing people talking on the phone and for the elderly it’s not loud enough.
Very happy with these phones easy to use
And good volume control as I am hard of hearing
This is great
Very very happy with this purchase
I was concerned about the volume of these handsets as some reviewers complained about this, because I’m in my 80s and my hearing is not that good, I’m supposed to wear hearing aids but rarely have them in, . Anyway I find the volume/loudness of the hand sets quite good without my hearing aids in and have no difficulty hearing people. When the phone rings the handsets announce who is calling between rings, a nice feature. All the buttons are easy to see unlike my previous Panasonic handsets. The only feature I haven’t located, although it may be there is previously dialed numbers. Otherwise a very good product. Hence 5 stars
Fully featured, with excellent sound quality and volume control.
Panasonic phones are the best I’ve ever used.
Not the cheapest, but the best, and great value.
I gave this 4 star because when the phone rings it say who’s the callers is but its hard to understand what the phone is saying
Many similar phones are criticised for their sound quality/volume. I found this one to be good in this respect. My only moan is that there are more features than I really need which in turn makes the manual quite daunting – but that seems to be par for the course with gadgets – one day designers might realise less is more!
