Ho sempre amato il mondo delle fotocamere sulla questione puramente video e devo dire che questa Lumix S5 Panasonic rispecchia perfettamente quello che stavo cercando, una fotocamera di alta qualit che ha tutte quelle funzioni per chi come me ama fare video per il proprio canale YouTube e soprattutto una fotocamera che mi da la possibilit di creare contenuti in 4k 60p in full frame.

Provengo da una vecchia reflex Nikon ed inizialmente la paura del salto era grande ma poi cercando online (recensioni e video vari) la mia scelta ricaduta in questa fantastica S5.. una full frame mirrorless “economica” ma perfetta sotto tanti punti di vista. Presa in kit con il 20-60. Top
Estabilizador de primera. Muchos modos de AF con seguimiento de rostro, tracking y animales que, a pesar de ser por contraste, funciona muy bien con buena luz (e incluso unos stops por debajo si se compensa con la ISO). La ISO dual nativa funciona de forma automtica en 640 y 4000 y, segn mis pruebas, no alcanza valores superiores a 6400 sin que aparezca ruido considerable. Es decir: normal tirando a notable (no es comparable con los que hacen las Sony Alpha… pero es que eso no es normal). Tiene modos de video para lentes APS-C (con recorte) y, claro, Full Frame (adems de Pixel a Pixel, que hace un recorte mayor que el modo APS-C).
Magnfica tambin para trabajar en anamrfico (tanto 1.33x en 16/9 como en el modo 4:3 que aprovecha todo el sensor). Los que vengan de GH5 van a encontrar un men muy similar.
CONTRAS: Lmite de grabacin de 30 minutos en modo 422 de 10 bits Long-Gop y que no haya ningn modo All-i (lo cual se entiende por lo anterior). La salida micro HDMI (que permite grabar en ProRes sin lmite en Atomos Ninja V y otros).
PROS: Todo lo dems.
Como todas las Lumix es una cmara hbrida pero ms inclinada a su uso para video.
OK so the autofocus isn’t the best , for normal photography it’s fine , wildlife and sports no. Apart from that this is a fully featured awesome camera , for the.money it’s great, if you don’t do wildlife or sports just buy it.

Say what you want about the autofocus – here is the real world example:
I had to record 3 commercials in a single day, 2 of which required very active movement and following people around in challenging lighting conditions – the autofocus worked great! I am a person who recognizes a challenging lighting condition so I can quickly turn to manual mode and manually adjust the focus but for most uses – the older contrast based autofocus works great!
I tested talking head videos with this with AFC and it tracked it perfectly throughout a 30 minute recording.
Over all the camera is great! Build quality is very good, button placement is almost perfect, menu is the best I have ever used and the flippy screen works great. I come from Sony, been shooting sony for my whole career and Lumix is delivering. Happy I made the switch and started to buy in the ecosystem early!
10/10 would recommend for most shooters who care about the scene, the setting and have no issues working in full manual mode from time to time.
I surprised here many left negative comments, complain about dots in pictures. Listen all of you, are you serious??? Are you know anything about sensor cleaning??? You need to CLEAN sensor and tools are available both in Amazon and in Ebay.
So I’ve had my camera for about two weeks now and I absolutely love it.

-1080p 422 10 bit – focus is excellent my toddler running around in my room , so light was not the best.

Best affordable full-frame video camera. I owned Sony A7S and A7R2, I would say Panasonic S5 has a better skin tone for the video shoot. The 2 lens bundle covers most saturation for my daily use.
An amazing camera with an amazing autofocus for photography. The quality of the images is fantastic and in low light with a higher iso is superb. Only slight downside is the kit lens seems to let dust in, having only had my camera 6 months the lens has more dust inside than a lens I was using for 3 years But the dust’s doesn’t show In images at all.
The actual camera is easily the best camera I have even owned and the weather sealing is fantastic. I have walked around in torrential rain and never had to worry about water getting inside and ruining an expensive camera.
Great camera indeed! I’ve used it for different events. I’m satisfied and really happy with the results. The pictures and videos are really sharp_ this makes the editing process easy and pleasant. Thumbs up!
As I am interested in video as well as photography and this camera achieves excellent results for both.
Over the years have found that full frame cameras do not vary significantly in image quality and a lower pixel count often generates a more natural image.
Having the ability to record 10bit video is amazing and I have been able to quickly create some great videos for my YouTube channel.
Cons.
It’s not the easiest camera to get the most out of. Especially if you’re coming from another brand but doesn’t take long to get to grip’s with image settings and menus to set things up how you like them.
If you’re looking for a camera that’s able to take great images and can also produce some amazing videos then this is in my opinion the best value for quality you can buy.

Performance wise – definitely one of the best in its class. Good choice of lens by Lumix, Leica and Sigma too.
It’s really a little gems. Picture quality is above its price range. Versatility is spotted on, great for photo and great for videos. Just enough features to be future proof for quite some time, highly customizable. Main down side is autofocus, but that’s because we’re all spoiled now with cameras built for the social media era, it’s more than descent if you learn how your camera and your lenses behave etc. You can’t really go wrong with this for the buck
Besonders hervorzuheben: wer bislang mit Panasonic gearbeitet hat, wird von der S5 sofort abgeholt und man kann mit dem Fotografieren los legen ohne sich stundenlang mit der Bedienungsanleitung beschftigen zu mssen.
Die Kamera liefert hervorragende, technische Bildqualitt, das Bildrauschen ist auf extrem niedrigen Niveau selbst bei 1600+ .
Allerdings bekommt man das nur mit den besten Objektiven auf dem Markt erreicht. Ich empfehle hier immer die Sigma-L-Mount Objektive zu verwenden und nicht die, wenn auch gnstigeren, Panasonic Objektive.
Der grte Schwachpunkt an der Kamera ist der Autofokus. Gerade beim Filmen ist das alles Andere als auf dem Niveau von Sony oder Nikon. Auch bei Stills kann man die S5 nicht als Flott bezeichnen. Die Gesichtserkennung funktioniert jedoch meist gut.
Was mich auch nicht berzeugt ist die Batterielaufzeit. Der Akku hngt zu oft am Netzteil und dann auch fr gefhlt einen halben Tag.
Empfehlung fr alle, die nach einer bezahlbaren und kompakten Kleinbild suchen ohne Kompromisse bei der technischen Bildqualitt machen zu mssen.
Brilliant bit of kit and I got it with the 50mm lens 5hanks to Amazon for the amazing discount. I was searching for a camera for a while now that could give me the best of both worlds (video and photo). The S5 definitely made the cut. If the autofocus is improved to Sony standards it would be the perfect camera.
The S5 is probably the bargain of the year. Great image quality, vast video options, great stabilisation and ergonomics. If only the video autofocus was slightly better .
Just upgraded from a Panasonic G6 to this wonderful new camera. I absolutely love it. I’m an amateur photographer and love to take candid photos of friends at events and gatherings – this is great!! Good high quality images with wonderful bokeh effect. Only downside is I wish they did a kit with the 24-105mm lens rather than 20-60mm lens – the extra length would be nice!

Auto Focus is good too. It looses focus once in a while but isn’t distracting. But much better than Gh5 in terms of focus.
I still like M43 system so will keep both.
Primero, el gran problema real: Enfoque. Puede parecer algo secundario pero, por ejemplo, para los videos hechos con el gimbal es un gran problema. El problema se agrava an ms con la cmara lenta … adis. Imgenes tan bonitas, s, pero en determinadas condiciones (por ejemplo, que el sujeto no se mueva mucho), por qu entonces qu hago con las imgenes desenfocadas ??? Las imgenes desenfocadas son para tirarlas, no son hermosas ni feas, no son nada.Obviamente estoy hablando de enfoque automtico, si lo haces manualmente no hay problemas.
Otra cosa que me molest: con Vlog el ISO mnimo se congela en 640, no puedo poner menos. Con iso extendido puedo llegar a 400. S, no es mucho, pero no es perfecto.
Otra nota: Se dice que la Panasonic S5 se puede conectar a una batera externa grande una powerbank, le pregunt al servicio tcnico de Panasonic y desaconsejaron esta opcin. La batera original cuesta casi 90 euros, si tienes que comprar 2-3 tienes que calcular casi 300 euros ms para esta cmara o cambiar a otras no originales, perdiendo la garanta …
Para concluir, no todo lo que reluce es oro, muchos lmites para diferenciarla de las ms caras pero son lmites que pueden dar ms que un problema. Por lo dems, por el momento, considero la camara bastante buena, capaz de grabar buenas imgenes.

Il manuale di 596 pagine e siccome non un romanzo ma un manuale d’uso da l’idea gi di quello che pu fare la fotocamera.
La sezione foto magnifica con l’ultimo aggiornamento sono stati aggiunti altri profili B/N siamo vicini se non simili a Leica di cui Panasonic
fa parte del consorzio L con Leica, Sigma.
Gli stessi profili colori possono essere usati anche nella parte video, pi ovviamente i profili video.
L’autofocus strutturato con vari settaggi ed velocissimo e si adatta a tutte le possibili esigenza.
Io l’ho presa in kit con l’obiettivo 20-60 che silenziosissimo, veloce ed ha una ottima resa sia foto che video.
La possibilit di usarla e inserire dati GPS ed altro da smartphone e semplice e veloce, una chicca anche a fotocamera spenta, cio con il selettore in OFF
si pu accendere dallo smartphone e fotografare o fare video.
Ha funzione time laps con programmazione di accensione, numero di frame, cadenza, durata ed esposizione auto.
La funzione foto a 6k e 4k gira un filmato a 18milioni di px e si pu scegliere uno o pi fotogrammi per le foto senza perdita di qualit.
Sono solo alcune cose.

Lo smartphone utilizzato per dimostrare le dimensioni un iPhone 12 pro, veramente piccola per una full frame.

Nota a margine, non la mia prima fotocamera di digitali ne ho almeno 20 tutte di fascia alta o pro, a pellicola qualcuna in pi, per questa mi ha entusiasmato

Digitales Vollformat macht Spa. 20-60mm Linse ist bis in die Ecken scharf und verzerrungsfrei. Der Sensor mit seinem Dual Native ISO bei 640 und 4000 macht unglaublich gute Videos. Fotos berzeugen auch, mit der richtigen Linse. Irgendwie ist das die Kamera, nach der ich lange gesucht habe.
Jetzt war ich vorher schon mit Panasonic vertraut. Daher war die Menfhrung und die Bedienung der Knpfe nichts neues fr mich. Fr Jemanden, der von Canon oder Nikon kommt sind einige Bedienelement sicher gewhnungsbedrftig.
Die Spezifikationen kann sich jeder in der Beschreibung durchlesen, dazu muss ich keine Worte verlieren. Vllt.: noch kurz was zur Firmware. Die macht die Kamera jedes Mal ein Stck besser. Panasonic hat eine Reputation, dass die mit der Firmware immer noch mal einiges mehr aus ihren Kameras rausholt.
Als ambitionierter Hobby-Filmer/Fotograf auf jeden Fall die beste Kamera zu Zeit.
The autofocus isn’t a problem especially with the new Len’s designed to work with the L mount Panasonics, alot of nifty features and the filimg on this is sick have it on a Weebill S and Ninja Inferno screen looking forward to doing some promo videos.
I use this to film stuff (assemblies, plays, events etc) in a school that I work at and the autofocus is not bad at all.
The colours you get out of this camera are incredible. Don’t have to spend time colour grading or tweaking.
Olvdate de todo lo que has ledo Tienes una Alpha 7? No, verdad, pues t no la vas a poder comparar. La calidad de imagen que da es espectacular, tanto de da como de noche. A pesar de todo lo que has odo, yo no he tenido ningn problema (NINGUNO) con el enfoque en el uso habitual del da a da, ni con el objetivo de kit, ni con el Sigma 50mm. Tampoco cuando utilizo objetivos manuales, el asistente para el enfoque (el focus peaking) funciona a la perfeccin.
No soy un profesional de la foto o el vdeo. Lo utilizo para grabar los recuerdos de los viajes y desde que compr esta mquina (ya s que ahora se llaman cmaras, pero es que uno ya tiene una edad y esto para m ser siempre una mquina de fotos) todos comentan el salto de calidad que han dado nuestros vdeos.
Olvdate de las comparaciones, esta cmara no te va a decepcionar en absoluto.
Seit nun ber 1 Monat besitze ich nun die neue Lumix S5 und ich konnte noch nicht alle Funktionen prfen. Betreffend Fotos, Fotoqualitt, Einsatzmglichkeiten, Bedienbarkeit ein Traum. Es dauerte ein wenig, aber nun kann ich schon recht gut damit umgehen. Groes Plus auf jedenfall: 2 Kartenslots, Akku-Aufladung auch via USB-Kabel mglich, Powerbank kann angeschlossen werden und somit fast unendlich viel Strom zur Verfgung, Das 20-60mm Kit ist vllig ausreichend fr den Beginn. Konklusio: Sehr zufriede
I bought this for stills but video is very important to me. I’m determined my kids will have the best home movies of their childhood to look back on. You want to shoot 10bit colour on a vintage anamorphic lens and have the in body stabilisation smooth out all the shakes? Go for it.
The JPEG’s look great straight out of camera with a special mention for low light. With a f1.8 lens this camera sees about as well as I do in the dark, and the ibis makes very slow shutter speeds possible handheld. I used to take a monopod out to get a bit more stability but I don’t need it with ibis. You can even get away with handheld footage as if it was on a tripod.
All round I’m incredibly happy with this camera.
