Clever design, liked the packers and fixing options they include to suit a range of different screens. Has made me consider fixing one of my other screens to the wall now!
Well made product would of gave it 5 stars but the rotation part that makes it portrait or landscape doesn’t seem to fully tighten up, but l can live with that.
The only hiccup I had in fixing the bracket was the bolts were quite a bit longer than the plastic wall plugs, so I had to pull the plugs out and re drill deeper holes…….school boy error, but once fixed it does the job perfectly. Excellent value for money.
I finally got fed up of not having enough desk space for two monitors on stands + speakers, dock, laptop etc. After deliberating between a double monitor arm I just decided to get two of these instead.
Installation is a cinch if you’ve got a solid brick etc wall and 10mm masonry bit and seems very sturdy so far after numerous readjustments.
Just take your time and get some help to make sure you’re mounting at the correct height. I rushed it a bit on my own and mounted it about 5cm above the ideal height for DSE and don’t really want to drill fresh holes so close to existing ones… That’s 100% a me problem, though.
Note that I used the 4x bolts that came with both of my monitors for the VESA mount, so can’t comment on compatibility of the included bolts.
Excellent product, I only wish I had bought this unit earlier, works a treat is very easy to assemble and to install, a lot better than my TV standing on a table taking up a lot of space and no one can see easily.
Great product – came with a comprehensive set of screws, spacers AND rawplugs (so no trip to the hardware store!!!!), drilling / fitting template and detailed, easy follow instructions. Jobbed with no swearing so can highly recommend!!!!!
I thought it far too risky to put my 32″ tv on the wall in my flat, so used a small shelf (minus its brackets of course) which I painted to match the dry wall, as a sort of plinth to fix it to at the appropriate point. Ah, security! 🙂 I mention this because it’s far better for peace of mind and is still up there a couple of months later. 😀 Spent a good while on Google and You Tube wondering if I did the right thing in buying it but yes, 100% and it has made so much space I really needed.
Hopefully the above will save someone time, perhaps a visit to B&Q or similar and a bit of money as well. I’m not really much of a DIYer but will do what is needed if it’s not too complex. Which brings me to the putting the bracket together. Yes, it’s quite easy but as with anything of this nature, always best to take your time to be sure of the best end results if it’s not something you are used to.
Used to hang TV on wall hanger was recommended to TV however none of the bolts fitted back of TV had to buy some 5mm bolts which did the job otherwise good product very sturdy.
Bought a couple of these to fix TVs on the wall in the kids bedrooms.
Supports a 32inch tv with ease, very simple to install. Instructions and templates included which really helps.
It has one major limitation though, I wanted to install on a 45 degree angle on an eve wall in a loft conversion. The bracket just couldn’t cope with the weight of the tv on the angle, so had to install it on a flat wall instead.
If you just need to install on a normal wall, this bracket is perfect. For anything slightly angled though like in the eves of a loft room, I’d look at something else.
I just tried installing this late afternoon and have given up on adjusting for now (see photo) It’s holding a 43″ LG TV with a 200×200 back plate safely. I should say I am absolutely hopeless at DIY but I watched the installation video and did my best. Think I did everything right as the TV is fixed well to the bracket and the bracket is securely fixed to the wall. Like a previous reviewer or two I’m finding the TV tilts downwards far too much, hence the cushion props. I need to get on with other jobs now, so will re-visit tomorrow and try and work out how to fix the unwanted tilt. At the moment it doesn’t seem like the bracket and fixings will adjust, so I’ll need to find some kind of work around, just not sure what as yet.
EDITED: updated photo. There’s another adjustment on the back plate and it seems to be as good as it’s going to get. Brush by and the whole thing will twist and tilt some more, but left alone and manipulated with a spirit level, it stays just fine at any angle you choose. It will fit back straight and flush against the wall, but I’m going to leave it in our best viewing position as I’m not so confident of keep on moving and readjusting.
Nice easy solid not plastic assortment of screws for TV to bracke
Very sturdy bracket, holds the 12kg weight of my 35 inch TV without any issues.
However it was not easiest instruction manual to read for a beginner. I found the pictures quite hard to understand to ensure i got the right order for fitting the parts.
Overall though, it was a good price for the quality
Bought to go with a 32 inch smart monitor (which is used predominantly in portrait orientation). The plate that attaches to the monitor is rotatable which means the monitor is viewable in either portrait or landscape orientation. The bracket attaches to the wall with 2 heavy duty hex screws/bolts which hold the bracket firmly in place. Unlike one review I have seen I have no doubt about the sturdiness of the bracket and its ability to perform the function for which it was designed.
Used it for a 42inch tv mounted on a studded plasterboard wall.
I bought the bracket for a 32″ TV for my home gym. It was really easy to install and done in less than 30 minutes. Very well made and the instructions were easy to follow. Definitely recommend this bracket.
Easy to put up, sturdy and pulls in all different directions. Put a 43 inch Tv up – weighs 7kg. Didnt need to attach any of the extra pieces to the bracket so that was a great time saver.
Second purchase as the first one was completely wrong. This was perfec
It was good to fit and looks great on the wall. X
Good quality…comes with all the fixings and machine screws to fit any TV.
The bracket is to be used to fix a TV to the wall.
Easy to install & the perfect support for my 32″ LED tv in the bedroom.
Easy to fit, perfect for my TV. The bolts are really substantial, you could probably hang a car off this (please don’t).
Really happy with this purchase.
Compact and sturdy, comes with loads of different adjustment settings to make sure it will fit the specified TV.
Also has lots of different size screws so as to screw correctly into the tv.
Has 2 large size wall screws, which are more than enough to hold the mount and TV to the wall.
Took me about 10 minutes to unpack, drill and install.
Mounted a 32″ flat screen in the bedroom, the instructions were clear and it was so easy to set up the bracket, due to the fact unlike other brackets I have fitted this was pre assembled. Plus only two bolts for the wall mount. The hardest part was attaching the TV, but easy enough with some assistance.
I choose this wall mount tv because I’ve seen it’s the best selling and it’s really worth it. Only good words, you have nothing to be unhappy with this item. All the mounting scheme provided, all screws for different types of tv. Good product for the money. I mounted it on a brick wall and it’s very strong, only 2 holes to drill and job done, really easy. It’s a 10 minutes job as it comes half assembled. I will buy this again if I’ll need another one.
This seems well made and definitely strong enough to hold the designated maximum weight. The tilt and swivel work just fine.
To actually hang a large tv takes two people and it’s not the simplest mechanism but persevere, would have been 5* if easier to mount the tv
This has several size choices for different TVs, so you start out by getting it set up right for your TV, which is fiddly but easily done with decent instructions provided.
Getting on the wall wasn’t hard and because it rotates as well as pulling in and out to the wall, it’s very forgiving if you didn’t put it up perfectly straight! Managed by myself until putting the TV on the bracket, which def needed 2 people, but all in all very sturdy and you just need to give time to make sure you do it right and follow the instructions.
