Easily the best trimmer I’ve used. Years on now and the battery still lasts for ages, its still really sharp and still really easy to use. Attachments are brilliant and work quite well.
It is what it is. It’s effective and efficient. Loads of options depending on what hair you want to trim or cut. I use it for trimming my bear each 2-3 weeks. And only have to charge the battery after maybe 4 or 5 uses, so it’s easily lasting 2-3 months.
I would buy again.

I’ve gone through 4 beard shavers before this one. the feel and quality of this exceeds all my old ones. this shaver feels quality from the off. Very easy to set up and use. Lots of accessories for different cutting lengths. Would highly recommend.
During Covid I was forced to start doing my own hair. This is great, easy to use, I just get in the shower and buzz cut my own hair. Even though I could go back to the barbers I don’t think I’ll bother.
But, I’ve tried so many different trimmers that will trim and shape my beard without having to mow it 3 or 4 times from every angle, coupled with a trimmer that will also do body hair and around the dangly bits without leaving a murder scene and lots of tissue paper THIS DOES IT ALL! I’m not saying I’ve not had the odd nick here or there, but it cuts first time, Close and precise.
The thing just oozes quality- good feel and weight to the handle, plenty of different attachments and I even bought a case to store and organise all the heads. All round, definitely recommend if you want a multi use trimmer that’s efficient and doesn’t massacre your private parts! 😉

Philips never fail to impress this is an amazing clipper set, smooth to the touch, doesn’t catch your skin and cuts through like a hot knife in butter great battery life amazing product.
This has so many attachments you can use it for any kind of hair removal you want. Sharp blade cuts really well. So far it has not needed recharging so battery life seems good. Would thoroughly recommend for any type of male grooming.
I waited months before writing my review. Very good battery life. Very adaptable. Very neat cutter. Plenty choice of cutting heads. The only thing that irks me is thicker cuts (like head shaving, or long beard) because the cutting blades clog easily. I always have a small brush handy to clear it.
I’ve had a number of Phillips shavers over the years. Nice product. Well built. Good battery life. I don’t use all the heads but there are plenty of them. Only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is that it almost cuts too close when shaving face so irritates post shave.
Pretty much my old shaver broke and I wanted to try out a trimmer and this was the one I chose. Sure there’s cheaper series like ones half the price but they are plastic, and will last less, are less premium and aren’t waterproof. I would only buy this on a promotion or get a cheaper one if you aren’t sure about it, I’m really happy about it feels nice and premium. It could also be used as a groomer for like your chest and under your arms, but I wouldn’t use it on your private area, it will and can cut you. Buy a groomer for that lmao. Lastly it’s waterproof which makes cleaning it a lot easier.
I’ve been looking to upgrade my old leading trimmer for a while, as it’s performance wasn’t great.
This trimmer is great.
It’s got a bit of weight to it, and in a metal case which is great. It charges quickly. An hour for 120 minutes runtime.
The combs and other attachments that come with it are also great. I’d highly recommend it.
Replacing some Wahl battery trimmers, these are a world apart! I’ve always cut my hair off short as I can’t be bothered with barbers. My old trimmers gave in half way through my weekly trim leaving me looking like a sad friar tuck. These Phillips ones are amazing! Powerful enough as my hair and beard are thick and not one single pull as they never stalled! Should have bought some years ago! Added bonus they can be used whilst showering so no bits of hair everywhere!
I have gone through a few cordless shavers over the years and this performs well, fast charge and cuts/shaves great, only had a few weeks so early days but so far happy with it, although the discounted price from over 90 must be exaggerated, there is no way this is a 90+ shaver, not a chance, there is nothing premium about it, it’s a decent shaver at bes

I also wanted to say thank you to the amazon driver, who kept calling me from unknown number and I kept rejecting his call. The guy didn’t give up (I honestly thought it’s just another scam call) but he just wanted to deliver my product. Thank you man!
Its probably my issue that i did not read the spec clearly but the trimmer does not have clipper for cutting hair at sizes above 16mm.
Else it looks premium and solid. It would have been better that it came with a carry bag.
The trimmer is very good, quiet and functional. My husband is very impressed with it. The only downside is there are many attachments with only a little velvet bag to keep them in. A tray or stand would be more suitable for everyday use.
Please beware of the comb lengths! My husband is replacing his Philips Cut Your Own Hair trimmer with this one. He discovered that, even though the manufacturer is the same, the numbers on the combs aren’t the same length! Luckily he was careful and started with a higher number and worked his way down to be safe.
It turns out that the one comb that has a slider to select from number 3 to 7 doesn’t cut to the same length as the corresponding numbers on his old trimmer! A 3 on the old trimmer is a 6 on this new one!
Start with higher numbers and work down until you find the best length. Don’t assume that the numbers on the combs equal hair length. They don’t always. The larger combs, 9 and 12 seem correct. Maybe the adjustable comb isn’t calibrated correctly on mine, or even all of them.
Great product, easy to use and feels good, being encased in a stainless steel body. It does exactly what I wanted it to do. It feels solid and well made, and I think this is because it has a decent battery in. I have had this now for four months and it’s only been charged once when it arrived. I use it almost everyday for a quick beard trim.
okay a bit on pricey side unless you get it on a deal or something … If you use it once or twice a week for a trim n stuff. You have everything in it that you could possibly need I think… Machine charges QUICK for quick use so I love that its a deal maker for me. you can stand it up vertically, Me personally love that feature too.
You can remove the attachments and clean them proper so there really isnt a negative unless I am being too picky

If you could give half starts this would be 4.5. Excellent product. The precision shaver is too severe and irritates the skin and the Precision Shaver misses hair no matter what you do. That said compared to the alternative it’s head and shoulders above. Would recommend
After scrapping the one blade product which broke within a couple of months and never did the job from the beginning, this product is the total opposite and you can do everything with it. The power on this is great and gets the job done quickly with precisio
Bought this as a present and my husband is very pleased. He agrees with reviews that complained about the nose attachment pulling hairs, but he’s happy to not use this attachment. Everything else is great and he’s very happy with this well made product.
This trimmer is the best I’ve had. It is well made, feels quality, comes with every attachment you’ll need and the battery life is great. In fact, as I work overseas, I actually bought one to keep at work and another for my home.
The trim is equal and gives an excellent cut due to the quality of the cutting teeth.

I bit the bullet and went for the old fashioned bevvy of attachments and really glad I did. The motor melts through my fuzz with ease, the premium metal handle feels like great quality, its totally waterproof and the array of attachments are super. The battery only needs charging once a month.
The only minor gripe is the location of the on/off button which sometimes gets engaged when ur performing beard trimming acrobatics, but I can live with that.
So impressed with this item, strong, reliable, great battery life, sleek design. Perfect! I bought this as a present for my partner and its absolutely perfect, different attachments for hair, face and body. Waterproof, long battery life. Absolutely love this product, I highly recommend
I do like this trimmer but… It’s probably the messiest electric trimmer I’ve ever used. I mean how does it get hair from your 4 day moustache in your eye?? Not sure why but it does get hair everywhere. The nose trimmer that came with I think was on the blunt side as it’s borderline self harm when using it and seems to pluck rather than cut.
The build quality is good though, feels weighty in your hand and gives a good finish.
Great trimmer with all the attachments you could need! I waited for this product to be in stock for weeks, but it was worth it. Philips products are always long lasting and good quality. My dad loved this as a gift and now will never have an excuse for an unkept beard! Ha
I’ve worn a beard for so many years now, and been through so many inferior trimmers this was a genuine surprise. This unit just goes on and on and on and on. I think I’ve charged it twice in a year of ownership. Great selection of adapters, rugged and weighty in the hand to keep you steady.
Minor gripe, would have loved to have had some even longer guards, and the head is smaller, but this makes it perfect for detail work. Amazing product though.
I was a little dubious about this product because previous battery powered trimmers have been pretty dismal.
I have to say that I am really impressed with this trimmer.
I trim beard, head and…err… other parts three times before I recharge it and it has never run out of juice in between charges.

Only one thing I would prefer is a 4, 5 and 6mm attachment. The 3-7mm variable attachment occasionally slips and I have ended up taking hair shorter than planned. But still decent and worth it.
This is a great bit of kit. Has everything you need to trim your beard. With options ranging from 12mm all the way down to 1mm. Eve when taking the guard off it works very well and won’t nick your skin. Additional nose/ear trimmer also works well and is a nice touch

I did see some reviews saying one of the clipper heads was missing. It’s not. It’s fitted to the clipper when it arrives. So don’t worry about that.

I wanted to write about the goodness of this trimmer, but alas, no amount of words can near to describe the magnificence of the trimmer. It’s all what I’ve dreamed of in a trimmer with so many attachments that enables you to shave anywhere. Light weight, ergonomic design, solid material and last but not least quick charge, 5 min for one shaving session, 1 hour for full battery that lasts for ages literally.
If I want to sum this product in a word, the word is without a doubt, MAGNIFICENT!
Areas for improvement: difficult to read the lengths that the guides cut to because they’re simply small numbers pressed into the plastic. Not a problem with the adjustable guide.
This is the best device I have ever used. I have only charged it once since purchase meaning it is lasting about a month on near daily usage.
I use this to trim all of my body hair and it does so without fail and with unbelievable ease.
Changing the heads can be a little annoying however it is nice to feel something extremely solid and nice to be able to use different shaving heads for different areas of my body
Battery life is great but not a smooth stubble trimmer, pulls often. I had a phillips 3000 series trimmer for over 5 years, which is half the price now, is a better than this one
It’s also very quiet. Oddly quiet. Sounds like it’s not got the power of its louder competition. However, it performs perfectly fine, once you’re use to the lower sound, it becomes a well built, good feeling trimmer that silently glides along your frolics and cleanly cuts them to legth.
The massive selection of clipper heads is also nice. Two clippers of the same size, but one for your face and one for your body. Keeps things clean and sexy.
I bought the trimmer for 50 on a one day promotion as a potential replacement to my 4 year old Wahl 9818-800 trimmer. The Whal to this day still delivers exceptional performance, but with the Phillips being only 50, though I’d give it a go.
Being a newer product I was expecting the Philips to outperform the Whal… but it doesn’t. This Phillips is a very good trimmer which gets the job done. It is an excellent body trimmer but the Whal outperforms it as a better beard trimmer. Both the standard blades and accessories that come with the Wahl are of better quality than the Phillips. The only real benefit the Phillips offers is being waterproof.
This is a very good good all-rounder BUT given the actual selling price (currently 75 on Amazon and 90 everywhere else)…. it doesn’t live up to exception. Both the older Wahl 9818 and the Andis Slimline Pro are a lot better for facial hair…. well they’re just better trimmers in terms of quality, precision and power. I’m only going to be using the Phillips as my travel/body/backup trimmer, not as my daily facial hair trimmer.
The first one of these that we were sent did not work unfortunately. It would not charge or if it did it would lose power. Amazon were fantastic at arranging a new item to be dispatched.
My husband was thrilled with this, particularly as we purchased it on prime day and got a fantastic price for it.
I help my husband to cut the hair on his head down to the scalp. I can honestly say this is the easiest one that I have used to do this. I am normally quite nervous as his other shavers sometimes get caught or don’t seem to get the hair off very easily. This was not an issue with this one. It was a breeze and I for a through cuttung his hair in no time. It also allows for a much cleaner cut and you are able to define lines far easier than any other shaver I have used on his hair.
I would definitely recommend this.
