I had been using the 1200w light for almost a year when half the light bar suddenly went dark. The seller honored the warranty and replaced the light immediately. Sadly, I lost the grow I had going when the light went out, but I would still highly recommend the product.

I have a couple of these! reason for the 4 star review (see pic’s) is my new light has a hook that will not fit through the hole for proper mounting.

A few months in and it’s doing exactly what I wanted. It’s been running about 12 hours a day, and I’ll be testing out new varieties and mixtures of hot pepper sauces soon. No issues with fans whatsoever, you just need to buy a timer, which is better to be external anyway, imo. It’s a decent company providing good lighting for whatever you’re growing.

I really was amazed to see how well it did, it might only be 1200W had no problem growing 2 plants, when I was ready to flower, what a great blast of light with both of them on. Well worth the money!

My veg garden responded very well to these lights. The upside is they run very cool and the light is nice and rich, the downside is the fans are noisy – they can be replaced with PC whisper fans but that would void your warranty. The daisychain function was my main mover for buying these lights and apart from the noise, I am very happy with them.
Also, if you are using different spectrum lights alongside, your garden looks like something out of Avata

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our Usersfrom the day of order , it took less than two weeks for my delivery which i am very pleased as i am from South Africa, the light is very bright and there are so many fake reviews and youtube videos of this light i did not know what to expect when i received my light, now that i have it i know i made the ryt choice, at first i had issues with light height and customer support from Phlizon was amazing, fast and lots of extra help other than the manual i received , one review says the switches dont work and it just half and full power switches , thats a lie i can see two separate colours when using one at a time and wit both u notice its a very powerful light, i am very pleased with this light and will be definitely buying more because the Daisy function is here not like certain reviews says it not iv read. i will update in 3 months time wit some pictures, i highly recommend you buy this light if you on a budget and want the best for for money.

Have to say I was very impressed, a lot of research gone into my choice of light, took ages but I came across this one, hugely recommended by you tubers. Only took 3DAYS, yes 3 days to arrive wich was awesome. Had to do a closet grow as my tent was too small as it gave off a good bit of heat. Fans on top are perfect came with everything in description. Value for money this is your light. Couldn’t be more impressed will defo be buying another 1 when I beach out. Can’t wait to see what becomes of my first grow.

This product worked great for 1 grow cycle. I had it for approximately 8 months when half the LED lights shut off. I attempted to replace lights since they’re lined in series but could not find replacement lights. Attempted several times to contact customer service and it’s impossible. Of course it’s from China so I should have known better. Do not buy unless you plan on buying a new one every year.

I am a newbie going to my second year of indoor growing. I don’t have money to waste, so when I buy something, it must be easy to use, durable and do the job. I had used it 24/7 for two seasons and still going strong. Granted, is noisy and a dimmer switch would be perfect. The grow tent can get a little hot, but a circulating fan keeps the right balance. Again, if you are a small grower on a budget and not overly concerned about the specs, it is a great buy.

So the plug that goes into the wall is standard us plug, but the light advertises being able to work in series w/ other lights but the plug on top of the light that you would use to plug the next light in the series into is a European plug.

Tech support says it’s a universal plug. Not what is in the photo, but we will see.

A quality product. I like the separate veg and flower switches. It’s very simple to operate. My only complaint is that the cooling fans are quite noisy. This is a problem for me because my grow tent is located right next to my bed and the noise keeps me awake. I had to order another light that doesn’t have cooling fans. I’ll use this light in another location where noise isn’t an issue.

This is my 3rd Phlizon LED grow light. I bought 2 600 wt ones which worked perfectly daisy chained over a 4 x 2 foot table. I loved them so much that I bought this 1200 wt one to hang in a different spot. These are in my basement and I have them on smart plugs with scheduled on/off times each day. I’ve grown microgreens, parsley, cilantro, and basil, as well as head lettuce and romaine. Great product for the price!

Purchased grow light in March and recently some of the lights stopped working so I contacted Phlizon who replaced the complete grow light due to the 2 year warranty and it arrived in days.

    Thanks Phlizon, great seller.

    Would definitely buy again.

I’m new to growing, (in Canada so 4 pot plants is perfectly legal!) I originally just bought one of the clip on LED “spider lights” that was only 50w. It got my plants started, but they just grew ‘up’ looking for more light.
I ordered the 1200W model here, for my 4×4 tent and after only one day my plants LOOK happier, they’ve perked right up, new leaves growing faster than ever and even their colour has improved.
After being on all day, the temp in there at night slightly tops 28*, I’ve read 28 is the preferred max – 31 and they’re dead. So I open one of the side doors slightly for ventilation, in have a clip on fan on route. I do have an in-line fan, but it’s not quite hot enough in there for that, and it makes the humidity drop too low.
But this light may not over heat too much, I’m just a little over cautious while I figure everything out. I ordered a second 1200W light for when the plants are bigger and need a bigger light footprint.
I haven’t had it for long, but based on how quickly my seedlings have responded I feel very comfortable leaving this review now, if something happens and it stops working or something I will update my review. But for now, I highly recommend this light! Thank you!

The fan is so loud that it is a problem unless I keep the setup in the garage. If you are using this in any area of your home which not fully dedicated to growing, the fan noise is intrusive. I can hear it two rooms away.

Ordered a 600w and 1200w. The 600w daisy chain outlet came in a UK style port which is odd considering I ordered out of the US. Regardless I made them work since they’re bright as hell, quiet, do not get hot and overall efficient for a close quarter grow. Im testing them out in veg. Will give a more detailed review later.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersMy first attempts are growing my own let’s say tomatoes.I have no experience or knowledge to compare this to other lights I can only say my plants have grown beautifully. After only a few weeks using the veg switch I have just turned on the bloom switch and look forward to lets say eating my tomatoes. It looks very well made and with LEDs they shouldn’t be much to go wrong I hope.

I’ve been using this light a bit over a year and had decent returns on my flower. I have a medical license in Canada and am not rolling in cash so this light was a good deal as well. I purchased a second light and there was a noticeable increase in flower, some of the less had burnt out in the first light but Phlizon HR are sending me another one as we speak. Shipping at my expense, but still worth it being as I get to keep the other light even. Happy to deal with them and hope to continue to do so!

We decided to start a bunch of herbs and vegetables indoors this year. Collard greens, lettuce, peas, green beans, cucumbers, chocolate (moruga) scorpion peppers, sage, thyme, and basil. All did fantastic! We used 2 in a 4′ x 4′ space sine they’re very reasonably priced and I didn’t expect much from cheap LEDs, but it may have been too much. I had to keep them pretty high up to avoid stressing the plants. Now that everything has been moved outside, I plan to try starting another batch with just one light. Do be aware if you’re growing in a smaller space that mine was kept in a 60F basement and the temps inside the tent were mid to upper 80’s even with a fan constantly pulling cool air in. They do produce more heat than I expected from LEDs. Make sure you have adequate ventilation!

Just opened the box. What first popped up is that besides the name on the unit there is no way to identify what model of light it is. I ended up counting the number of lights to confirm it was in fact the 1200 W grow light. The useful addition is the adjustable rope, neither the rope not the humidistat were a factor when buying the light. What was very disappointing is the plastic cover over the light. It’s of a cheap quality and if or when it gets scratched, or some sort of residue builds upon it there’s no way to remove it to clean both sides of the plastic cover. There are also three holes in the lens which I imagine are for air flow but this exposes the circuit board to the elements of the grow tent ( humidity etc). Overall I’m not to pleased however it is a bargain priced light so perhaps my expectations were too high as my first grow light was a vivosun. I think I’ll stick with them for any future purchases for my indoor gardening. I’ll update my observations in time
Short term observation. I upgraded to four stars as the light intensity is consistent at varying heights and the coverage area is a smidge more than advertised.
Update: I have 22 Dahlia plants and seven Cana lilies under the light in the basement and they’re doing well. One of the dahlias is has sent up a flower bud! Quite amazing really.

Seems cheaply made, light intensity seems good so fa

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersOk so I’ve done some testing and research and found the 600w to be underpowered for a ‘smoke’ plant grow. That is, unless you lower it much further than the instructions describe. For example, the 1200w gives off over 500umol at 24inches but the 600w gives off 500umol at 12 inches but of course the grow area is restricted. Meaning the 600w at 12inches is fine for a small grow of 1 plant in a small grow tent as 500-1000umol is perfect for growing start to finish but is no good for anything more than 1 plant, especially if you don’t ‘top’ your plant and keep it bushy rather than tall.

So to conclude, the 1200w is the perfect light for everything you need but if you can only afford the 600w, half the distances listed in the instructions to get the desired effects. Trust me, your plants will love you for it and the facts are written in plain site here on the advert. 500umol at 24″ (wider grow area too) for the 1200w and 500umol at 12″ (small grow area) for the 600w.

I had a full grow of 2 plants under a 600w at the advertised heights and the plants took forever to grow and stayed small with a small yield. They also stretched from seed more than I would like but not excessively although 1 seedling did fall over so more soil and root stimulator was added and it was fine. A second grow with the 600w with the LGHT half the distance away (12″) saw the same plants from the same batch of seeds explode with growth and with an added benefit of more warmth too from the fans. They grew almost 2 times as fast but I did have to swap to the 1200w for flowering as the plants got too wide and needed more light.

Great lights that do exactly what they say they’ll do, worked fine for me with no excessive noise, perfect amount of heat for a small grow tent and never failed on me once so far. Highly recommended. Just ensure you’re giving your plants the correct umol/ppfd by hanging the light properly.

My second Philizon light, pleased with this 1200w one; wish I had purchased 2 of them instead of the 600w one I purchased last year.

Box was noticeably punctured upon arrival, but no noticeable damage on the light fixture itself; seems to be functioning as intended..hopefully there won’t be any issues.

Blurple lights are GOOD FOR ADDING SPECTRUM, but I must conclude exactly that..they can be a VERY BENEFICIAL auxillary light ALONG-SIDE A QUANTUM FULL SPECTRUM LED for all cycles.

I respect all grower’s opinions in their own gardens, but this is mine and i still support this light; or any higher-wattage they offer now-adays

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFirst try with led, have allways used hps,too early to say how good they perform, but, so far so good! Quick update, 2 weeks in and just received my second 900w as really impressed with the light quality. Important note! The cooling fans blow down through the light and exits out of three holes in the clear led cover directly onto crops!! And they do need plenty of ventilation/fans.

I grow small plants, mostly all are auto flower as they are ready in a month and a half with these lights. I love these lights because they are a great price/value, they are sturdy and well made. The energy drain is minimal, they are reliable, (5 gardens in two years non stop, no issues at all). Bloom and Veg switch is just smart engineering. I did have to buy the green lens LED glasses as the only safety concern is the spectrum on all these LED lights can damage your eyes. I give this product a 5/5 as the results were more than impressive.

I bought this after talking with some people about their 900W versions, and so far i love it, great addition to my other 600W light from a different brand to my 4×4 tent!

will update after 3 months or so if anything happens whatnot.

The only cons i have are the Carabiners that come with it, they’re too small to fit around a pole to hang the light, had to get a different one for the time being to fit around a pole. unfortunate was looking forward to using the pulley thing for easier and faster adjustment, but alas… not a deal breaker though.

Side note, they say 2 lights are “dim” and sometimes aren’t seeable, i wasn’t able to see em at all, albeit had to put a thick black shirt over my face to even dare look into the sun of a light this bad boy packs.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersWell, I wanted to keep my tropical plants alive but instead I ended up with a tropical paradise.

I wanted to keep my plants alive during the winter months because I moved to a lower light apt. First this is this is BRIGHT! Like almost sunlight. I thought this would give if more of the purple reds like my cheap grow lights but this is almost like sunlight with a pink tinge.

    Month later update:
So after setting these up I had to find a way to keep them eye level or lower because they are bright. I set them up in a attic Daisy chain but not in a way suggested but with a utility extension cord. One I put behind a fishtank and another in a corner for my larger plants. My succulents started responding very well and made my transition from apts without alot of leaf drop off. I just checked my tank and lately have noticed that there is algea growth but all my plants in there are exploding in growth now. I am very happy with my purchase this far. Another thing I like is they are not super purple like some grow lights I have. Its like a light pink when both switches are on.

    6mo,
Was able to start herbs and use this to get the plants to root better and faster. When it was next to the fish tank, all my plants took off and quickly grew, it became hard to control the growth. If you have any plants about 12in below or less. They will burn! I fried some of my palm fronts that were closest to the light. Since it summer all my plants are outside and now got even more wider collection so we shall see how well next winter is

I own two of their lights a 600w and 1200w. I also have prompted or suggested two other individuals to buy the same 1200 W lights for their set ups. I know of over a half dozen of these lights in process. I have never had any issues with their Quality.
I originally bought the 1200w light in February 2019. Two weeks ago the LED veg side of the light stopped working. I contacted the manufacturer and “within” seven days I had a new 1200w light at my front doorstep. Not only did they replace the product within the week they told me to keep the light that I had because my plants with need it in the meantime while I was waiting for the new light.
Awesome people! Thank you for thinking about the plants and the customer. Very satisfied!
I will continue to recommend and purchase when needed. Thanks again Phlizon.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThe item is okay for the value. At full power its using about 250 watts. Against the newer LED its about double the wattage versus the spiderfarm. I purchased this in May of 2019 and at the time the spiderfarm was not offered. It is still very bright and does well for itself. It does have a fan so its not absolutely quiet though its not terrible. The product came with a few add on items like temperature/hygrometer. Some attachments and a pulley. Its pretty nice to have the add on. The color does have a rainbow effect of blues and reds so its white light but with a rainbow effect.

I did have a problem in September with 1/2 a bank of the bloom leds failed. I contacted the seller and he responded within 12 hours. He asked for a photo of the device with the failure and without hesitation he shipped a new one from Amazon. I received in 2 days and had it running. The seller even understood that I still needed some light and said to keep the device since my plants would die without it. All in all the seller was prompt and took ownership of the failure.

Used light for about a year, it was only on for about 16 hours a day half the year and 12 the other half. Noticed my plant wasn’t looking very good, and it’s because the lights middle section was completely out.

Phlizon contacted me in regards to the burnt out light, as you can see in photos, the whole middle section and part of the right side also burnt out. They will replace light if I can update this review, so here it is, and thank you.

P.S. I would’ve give a five star rating, cause for five months on veg mode my plant thrived once switch to bloom lights went out plant started to die from bottom up, but until I try more of Phlizon products to see if it was just a single bad unit, three stars it is.

Seems to be about 50/50 of each color are off with just one switch.

Golden Review Award: 31 From Our UsersBought this grow light and a couple of ONEO 1000 watt lights. I like this light a lot better than those ones. My vegetable plants (peas, carrots, peppers, arugula, spinach, tomatoes and cucumbers) are growing a lot faster under it. The wattage is right in the description, about 300 watts with both switches on. Each switch VEG/BLOOM uses about 150 watts each. So pretty even. My other ONEO lights are not even like that. They use about 60 watts for VEG and 140 for Bloom.

Fans are a little loud, which doesn’t bother me since it’s in the greenhouse. Doesn’t put out much heat at all. I can feel the heat on my hand when my hand is about 2 inches or less from the lights. So I would imagine I could place the light really close to my plants. I have it about 24 inches above the plants and it covers an area of 3×3 feet really well. I have plants at 4×4 feet and the outer ones are growing slower, but still growing. The ONEO lights I say would max out at 3×3 feet for sure.

I can’t compare it to a more costly light, but compared to a cheaper 1000 watt light, I like this one much better and will buy again when I need to expand.

I’ve had this light since October 9th and thus far I must say I’m quite happy. Of course, I cannot vouch for the light in the long run, but thus far it’s been lovely for veg. I started this season with this light so keep in mind my plants are only a couple weeks old, yet big enough to start training and they respond by lifting up back to the light almost instantly. I’m growing in a space a touch over 3x3ft, and this light has a decent amount of cover for the size of the plants right now and intensity (WITH BOTH SWITCHES ON) is sufficient for the size the plants are at, but I’m definitely gonna purchase a second fixture for late veg and flower. Really surprised that this affordable fixture does so well, seeing it’s my first LED grow. Runs a lot cooler than the HID’s I’m used to, too. Shipped to South Africa with no problems and discreet packaging.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersUpdate: Phlizon customer service rep reached back out to me a few days ago and offered to replace my light at no cost. Very happy with their customer service for reaching back out to me. I just received my new light today. Thank you Phlizon for helping me out with this. For the price of the light and bud yields this light has done well. Maybe I just had a faulty light before, so hopefully this new light lasts a few years.

Purchased this light less than a year ago. Light worked great for about 6 months, but I noticed recently that there are about 8 bulbs out. I only noticed this because I actually have two of the phlizon 1200w lights side by side and I noticed one seemed significantly different in color and output. This is unfortunate because they have a great price for lights, but if it can’t even go a full year without bulbs going out, not sure if I will purchase again.

It’s also very hard to get in contact with the company’s customer service or anyone to even answer some questions. All I can do is leave a review to inform others.

Golden Review Award: 28 From Our UsersI’ve bought several LED system with mixed results. Of them, this has the most promise. Comparing this “1200w” (300w) version to my “1000w” (180w) version, this one blows them out of the water for light intensity. This one claims to replace 800w worth of MH or HPS and I believe it. Construction is similar to my other favorites, but a bit more sturdy. This model has three 1″ holes in the clear plastic lens to allow venting of the LEDs, something I haven’t seen before but totally makes sense, as my other LEDs do tend to get hot. The added humidity and temperature meter is a great freebie. The tri-mode, veg/bloom/both is also nice that lets you dial in the intensity and color temp. Three cooling fans is also good. I will follow up later once I’ve used it more, but my first impression is that it is really nice quality with just the right amount of options. Experience tells me this is more than enough light for running a 4ft x 4ft area with high intensity light. It is insanely bright with a nice even color temperature.

Update 1: With two LED systems in my disabled friend’s tent, the plant is already leaning towards this one, telling me it is delivering more of what the plant wants. Small ruderalis plant for now, but this will obviously do 4 full size plants. Uploading some pics, this LED is the one on the right, you can see the vent holes in one of them.

Best I've found for the money

Golden Review Award: 47 From Our Users*****UPDATE***** less than a year later and 3 bulbs blew. I emailed the weird warranty email with pictures and they got back to me the next day. They sent me a new light and not just a new light but the whole kit including the hygrometer. They said I would have to wait 3-7 days for the replacement but instead two days later I received it! I am beyond grateful and so glad I went with this company!!! This light truly is amazing and the customer service is too!!

I just purchased and received my Phlizon 1200W LED grow light July 9th, replacing my King Plus 1000W LED grow light. I grow medical marijuana and found the King LED light was taking longer for my plants to flower compared to a 400W HPS. I just hooked up this light last night, fairly easy setup minus the fact that I needed to get a heavy duty extension cord to plug it in. I know the change from 1000W to 1200W would make a difference. This light is bright! It has more colors than the King Plus. Only time will tell how good this light is but I love the veg/bloom switch and light output so far! I will update periodically. If you do decide to go with this light I would recommend getting a long heavy duty extension cord with a surge protector as well as a large carabiner to hang the light as the carabiner that it hooks to is very small and wouldn’t fit onto the poles in my grow tent.
***UPDATE*** within a month of use, the right temp and humidity with proper air flow in and out and it’s the first grow I’ve gotten purple hues on the leaves and buds… I couldn’t be happier… still could use a longer cord so I didn’t have to have a 6 foot long heavy duty extension cord going into the timer/surge protector… but the results from these lights is awesome…

Amazing light and amazing customer service!!

This is an amazing lighting setup even though it’s fan is a bit loud but I don’t sleep next to it so it doesn’t bother me. Thus, I have purchased four of this sets and it works so well. Each unit can be plug parallel making ez to run cables. Also it produces a lot of light that works amazing well on my plants. They growing so well and healthy. Of course i keep the required distance between the awesome unit and my beautiful plant, so I don’t burn my plants.
So this units are five stars for me because I have seen the results of my plants with it.
But that is not all! Phlizon has an amazing five stars warranty! Indeed because one of my units b stop working half side and with two days I have the replacement installed and shipped the broken one through first class UPS.
5 stars for great technology and amazing support !!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI just set this up yesterday. I’m not growing anything in it for a few months, but wanted to test it out. It puts off extremely bright lights so get a pair of led safety glasses.. I’m not just saying that. It made my white walls look bright yellow for about 3 minutes.

Only problem that I foresee is that this light puts off almost no heat at all.. I can put my hand a few inches below the light with veg and flower buttons turned on and feel no discomfort. I haven’t decided if I’ll keep it yet for this reason.

Also, I’ve seen comments that the thermometer only reads in Celsius.. They are wrong. On the back is a kickstand, flip it up and you’ll see a button to switch it to Fahrenheit. You’re welcome lol

I’ll update this as I learn more about it though.

Golden Review Award: 55 From Our UsersI got this for a good friend that has been using it for the last 2 weeks. So far, it seems to be a great deal. They really like the veg/bloom switches. I also gave them a vanilla plant and it’s doing great under this light! Looks like it’s turning out to be a “GREAT DEAL” for the money!

Update: its been almost a month since getting this LED light. We had a “VERY” minor issue that probably happened during shipping and Phlizon was contacted. Thay responded within a few hours! After the issue was explained, Phlizon more than fixed the issue all the way from China within just a few days! I don’t even get service like that from retailers in my own neighborhood! Not only is this a great, customizable LED light with tons of features and not only is it a great price but the company is “AMAZING” as well! I only post reviews when the item sucks or it’s really, really good. This light and more importantly, this company, is one of the best I’ve ever dealt with! I paid full price for the light and just feel a company that makes a great product and truly values it’s customers should be singled out and talked about. Buy a light from these guys. They honestly want to make you happy so you come back and also tell your friends about them. I wish more companies worked this way! Thank You Phlizon!!!

Update #2: We had a problem after about 6 months of constant use. We contacted Phlizon and they took care of the issue with no questions asked! This may be the best company I’ve ever dealt with! We could not ask for better service!!! If all companies did business like this, I would be motivated to buy much more on line. Thank you Phlizon!!!

Golden Review Award: 124 From Our UsersI purchased this light for six plants in a 5’x5′ tent and I am very happy with what it has accomplished. In trying to research what size light I needed and how leds work versus other more traditional lighting I felt totally overwhelmed, so I finally made the choice to give this brand a try. I had some previous experience years ago growing hot peppers indoors with a 90w UFO—seems like things have progressed a lot since then. The 1200w light brought all six plants through vegetation and flowering without any light burn or slow growth issues. The plants grew huge and bushy—vegetated only using the veg button (both switches on for flowering). The light is SUPER bright. I kept it on 24/7 for the first 2-2.5 months, and it’s been on a 12/12 cycle for the last 9 weeks without any issues. I don’t know how it compares to other lights or LEDs, but I do know that this light has been great and I’m planning to get another.
