Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI had a very old digital frame that stopped working a few months ago, since then we have been trying several frames to replace it. I can’t believe that most of them are such low quality.
The first one we purchased had a horrible interface, useless manual and did not take the configuration, I set it to turn on at 8am and off at 10pm and did not work. It stayed on until manually turned off and stayed off until manually turned on. We purchased another one that seemed to work but after a month the touch screen (only way to configure it) went bad and started changing the configuration by itself, could not apply warranty because I lost the receipt (should have bought it from Amazon). I purchased a third one that seemed flimsy and cheap and also came with useless instructions so I returned it. All these 3 frames on the lower rage of the price (between $60 and $80).
I was about to quit when I found this frame that seemed better, some bad reviews but In my opinion not about major issues. Was not sure because price was significantly higher than most digital frames but at the end I decided to try it…I’m glad I did it!!!

This frame seems solid and good quality, instructions are clear and cover all options on the menu. Remote control is one of the best I ever seen for a device like this and works like a charm. Configuration is easy (even without the manual) and works as expected. I tested it with pictures from my DLNA server, from the SD card and from internal memory and everything worked fine. It turns on and off according to the configuration and has several options for picture display, I’m currently using collage of 5 photos which looks really nice (may look better on the 15 inch frame). It also has some features I will probably never use like games, alerts, and online radio stations but they are good to have in case ever needed.

I highly recommend this frame if you have the budget, it is totally worth the price, I will just need to test the longevity, I just hope it does not break in a month.

I had previously purchased the BSIMB which I returned for various reasons. I bought the Pix-star as a replacement. The Pix-star was very easy to set up, and uploading pictures is easy because you are given a unique email address which can be shared with family and friends so that they can share pics as well. I highly recommend this product. DO NOT BUY the BSIMB. Instructions were horrible and the touch screen did not work all the time.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this frame over three years ago and have loved it from day 1. Loved it so much that I bought one for my mom who is in assisted living. The entire family can easily add pictures. It’s perfect!
Fast forward to last week when mine died. I contacted the company and within a couple short email exchanges they were sending me a return label and mailing out a new frame. Once it arrived, they helped me get the old pictures on the new frame quickly. Outstanding customer service. And honestly, I love the frame. Great quality and ease of use.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersMy father in law is in a nursing facility. He doesn’t get to see my kids as often, the facility goes through periods of not allowing people in due to COVID number in the area or exposure within the facility etc. He is not very handy with texting and has a cellphone just to receive calls. Having the ability to send him photos of the kids doing everyday activities or special events and talking about the photos with him during phone calls, I hope makes him feel a little more involved with them. We were able to set up the frame online for him, create the email and all the preferences so he doesn’t have to do anything with the frame at all, just turn it on. The app used for adding photos is very simple.

Children, grandchildren, friends, and others can email pics directly to the photo frame. When setup to allow autoplay of new pics, they appear in the rotation automatically. A great way to keep others informed and included in what you and/or your family is doing.

Got this gift for my Grandma to send her pictures of her great grand baby. She is over the moon happy about it. It’s easy for not only me, but the entire family to send her pictures/video to enjoy of all her grand and great grandkids. She shows the frame to everyone who comes into her home. My cousins also loved this gift because it allows us to share photos/memories with her, without having to post to social media.

Great buy, 10/10 would recommend! Super easy to push photos to once it’s set up, anyone can email to the frame as long as they have the correct email address.

Works well enough, many ways to load photos remotely. Stays connected with little to no maintenance, which is good for something getting left at the grandparents house. 4:3 aspect ratio seems old school, but is actually pretty much the best option for a mix of portraits and snapshots. Prices seem fair given that the email and app are free. Motion detector turns on and off as needed, generally the frame is on unless I try to sneak up on it.

Golden Review Award: 44 From Our UsersI did a lot of research on a good amount of photo frames from various firms. Assuming similar quality my primary needs were:
    1. motion detector
    2. ability to use a usb stick
    3.load photos via internet
    4. auto resizing of photos
I decided to go with Pix-Star and what a good decision! The frame itself is basic and looks fine. The most important feature for me (along with those listed above) is how do my photos look when displayed. Let me tell you – in one word FANTASTIC. They look great.
For those of you shopping for one of these for the first time (like me) here are some suggestions. When you first get it you will want to load it with current photos. That’s why I wanted the ability to use a USB stick. I loaded almost 225 photos immediately. I don’t know how long that would have taken via the internet. All I did was go to my PC , down loaded the photos to a USB, and then uploaded from the USB to the frame. Uploading took about 1 minute. The internet is fine for uploading a few photos when you like, but starting off with a large amount may be time consuming. Doing it this way also allowed me to “polish” my selections using Photoshop so they looked exactly the way I wanted. I also was able to resize most of my photos to 8 X 6 (frame display size) so there was no distortion or cropping.
I am particular with my photos. This frame provides a lot of flexibility, it is fairly easy to understand, and overall does a great job. It isn’t cheap – but it is worth the dollars it cost.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThis works well in every way except for the one mentioned in the title of this review. The ability to use email to add pictures is why I bought this instead of Aura, which my sister has. Friends and family don’t want to download another app to add pictures. But the ratio that the frame uses makes landscape mode pictures fill the frame well. But portrait mode will not. For me the trade off has been ok. Screen quality is great. Setup was easy. User interface with the remote is easy. I thought I would miss touch screen ability and I don’t.

I received one as a gift 2 years ago and loved it. I decided to get one for my parents for their anniversary. Neither are on FB, so they can’t see pictures my sister and I share. So now we don’t have to clog up their inbox or texts; we just add to this instead. They love it. Absolutely great gift and you never have to add more memory or deal with memory sticks. The interface online is helpful too.

I love the simplicity of this frame. Very easy to use. Has a motion sensor with adjustable times. It allows you to build photo albums which allows you to play individual albums or you can set it to play all your pictures randomly.
I can’t say enough about their customer service! I emailed a question one evening and received an answer the next day. After two years of use, my picture frame quit working and they sent me a new one right away no questions asked. Talk about A+ service!! I highly recommend this company!

I investigated this product &similar products for myself. I waited to see if it went on sale. Others did but something kept telling me to go back to pixstar. Boy am I glad I did. I enjoy it so much. I loaded via email a slew of photos and one video so far and not one hiccup.
I do wish the written instruction were a little better but then there is goggle.
Oh 10″ was perfect size. I think the 15 would be way to big.

So after trying two competitors some bigger names on Amazon and being disappointed ended up here. It’s not the fanciest looking but it has reliably work for my mom in another state. It’s simple to email pictures to the frame just have to be mindful of size may end up emailing one picture at a time. If they don’t go through you get get email to let you know. It’s never had issues staying connected and the user interface is simple enough that any family member that can handle a basic smart phone will be able to manage their picture frame.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAfter careful review of several digital frames, I purchased three of these as Christmas gifts for my grown daughters. They were a huge hit for the recipients, plus I thoroughly enjoyed sending photos from my family collection to the frames. Based on my enthusiasm and my daughters’ enjoyment, I received one of my own as a birthday gift a few months later. All four have been working well until recently when one just died!
I contacted Pix-Star for advice, received a prompt reply suggesting a simple action to restart it, but nothing worked. Without further question, the customer service representative replaced the faulty frame very quickly and sent a pre-paid label for returning the old one. I am happy to report that the new frame is working and that that we were able to download all 700+ photos stored in my daughter’s Pix-Star account. We are very happy and satisfied customers.

Although I have no problem with the screen quality or the photo quality, the online management is clunky. I discovered a number of duplicate photos in one album, but with over 400 photos in the album there was no good way to group the duplicates together and delete them. Photos cannot be rearranged. In addition, you cannot easily choose a consecutive group of photos to delete or to add to a new album. You cannot use the shift key to select consecutive photos. Each photo to delete or move must be selected one at a time. I finally downloaded the entire album in question, deleted the duplicates on my computer, and then uploaded the photos again.

I own two of these and do appreciate that you can create one account for multiple frames if you want the frames to have identical albums.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWe’ve had the frame for a couple of weeks and are very happy with it. The picture quality is great and it’s quite easy to use. You have several options for storage of your pictures. It can play from frame storage, USB or SD and several others. No Subscription to some software package was needed so that was the clincher for us to give it a try. And I’m glad we did. Had to contact their support once about how to move pictures we had emailed to the frame to the USB drive and they responded in less than 24 hours with a detailed instructions. Overall we couldn’t be happier with our PixStar Frame!

We bought this for my mom for Mother’s Day. We did our due diligence around which frame might be the best and most user friendly for my 80 year old mom and this came up in the top 5. I admit the lower price point was confusing but after the reviews we jumped. Well- it does not disappoint! Super easy to use, great app, easy to install and navigate. My sister set up the app so my family all over the country Dan send mom pictures Via text that will just appear on her screen after she accepts them. It’s a really cool app and my mom has even loaded her own travel pictures ( she’s 80 and did this so props for the user friendly aspect) and it’s right by her kitchen sink so she sees it all the time.
This is a great gift. Highly HIGHLY recommended.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFeatures which appear to operate as advertised, are email receipt and display, web/remote upload from local computer logged into pix-star account, Google photos album access, and motion sensor.
Remote/web display configuration is only partially successful at pushing all changes to display.
In configuring external web sources like google photos, could not get them to set up with windows PC and google chrome, but was able set up pix-star link to photos album with an Android tablet/Chrome browser.
The actual android app (via Google play) did not work at all.
While not in the advertised set of features, the USB port appears to only support USB drives, and does not behave as a file volume mount if connected to another computer host.

Gave this to my father and whoke he initially wasn’t thrilled with the idea of a “frame with moving pictures,” he has since said how much he loves seeing the pictures we send of the grandkids and pictures of my mom (who has passed). He loves that he can customize the length of time for the pictures, add in calendar or weather reports, and even delete pictures that he’s tired of. It takes a little practice to get comfortable with the operation of the product, so i would not recommend this as a “set it up yourself” gift for older relatives, but once it’s going, it’s really a lovely gift for parents and grandparents. I’d given one to my grandmother years ago and decided to get one for my dad this year. Both needed help getting it going, but both have enjoyed it once it was set up and as we continued to send new pictures to it.

What a wonderful frame for a family. I purchased this smaller version for my parents who are in their 80s. My Dad has dementia and seeing the pictures of his new great grandson is helping put it in his mind. He repeats his name and comments on the pictures as they rotate by each time. It honestly brings me to tears to hear my Dad recognize him. This smaller version is perfect for the them – they put it right on the kitchen table.

I marked it down to 4 stars because of the weekends in the app for the iPhone and Android. You can only send pictures you cannot perform any of the other frame functions. You also cannot send to more than one frame at a time which would be a wonderful improvement.

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersGot this for my grandma in the nursing home. She watches it like a tv. With covid- we can’t visit inside and this has helped us stay connected. Pretty user friendly to set up. I love that I can control from my laptop and grandma doesn’t have to touch it. She’s 101 and dementia is becoming worse. She would not be able to figure it out but LOVES to watch it. I have it on a timer to go on and off at a set time each day. She doesn’t have to touch it. Also I have it set to display the date and time. This helps keep grandma on the correct day. Being able to label the picture (the yellow circle in my picture above) in the subject line of the email when you send it helps grandma to identify the people in the photo -as her memory is bad. So this is working as an “exercise tool” for her brain, too. Again – I can not say enough how much she loves it. Currently 6 of us send (email) photos to it. When emailing I found “actual size ” works best. And short videos come across well too (like 10 seconds or less is all I’ve tried). So glad I found this frame!

Golden Review Award: 26 From Our UsersI wanted to get a WiFi digital frame for my parents and did a lot of research including reading many customer reviews of different options. The PixStar frame was highly rated on Tom’s Guide and I’ve found that source to be a good one in the past so I went with it and I am so happy.

Here are some things I love:

*The frame is super easy to set up and operate – I set it up at my house on my WiFi and tested it out before sending it to my parents and it worked great. I was able to easily switch it to their WiFi when I went to visit. That being said, my parents are not all that tech savvy, so I had to do the setup. I did try to walk them through connecting to the WiFi over a phone conversation but that was very difficult and did not work very well. To me it was not hard – but it may seem hard to those who are not used to working with things like that.

*The frame has an option to just “Play All” and automatically receive making it so my parents do not have to do anything but sit and enjoy. When pictures come, they just show up! My parents love being able to see the pictures and have new ones to look at without having to touch anything.

*I can control the frame remotely from my computer even though I live miles away.

*It is easy to send pictures through an e-mail attachment or the PixStar app on my phone.

*It looks nice and the pictures come through looking good.

    Some things to consider:

*Size. I got the 10″ frame and it works well. It is a nice size for a desk but I thought the picture display area would be a little bigger. The next size up, though seems quite big. We can see the pictures fine on the 10-inch but if you want clarity from across the room for people with limited eyesight then a larger frame might be better. They are happy with the size because it isn’t too big and they can see it. My observation though is that if there’s room for a larger size where they want to put it then maybe go up.

*The weather option only shows if the user selects it and plays Web Albums. I could not get it to show in the Play All mode. My parents would have had to go and select it from the menu on Web Albums. So, we do not use the weather.

*This frame has A LOT of other options! It has music, games, calendar, etc. I have not used any of those because really my parents just want to see the pictures so that is all we use on it but it works well for that.

*Videos may or may not play. I haven’t really tried it. There seem to be some options, but we’ve only done pictures. I sent a picture from my phone that had been taken in bursts and it came through as a movie and the frame played the first shot then put a message saying it couldn’t play the video. So I converted the first shot to a JPEG and it was fine. I don’t know what it would do with an actual video. We haven’t tried that yet.

Overall I am very pleased with this frame and so are my parents. They spend hours watching it and it is so enjoyable for them and comforting for me to know they like to watch it. I love being able to send up-to-date pictures and have them just show up. It may take up to 5 minutes sometimes, but it is pretty quick.

I hope this review is helpful for anyone looking to purchase a WiFi digital frame.

I absolutely love this. It stores 30,000 pictures!!! Set up is easy. The frame will initially add photos from your stored computer photos….like google photos, etc. New photos are easy to add. Pictures are displayed nicely. You can arrange the pictures how you want to see them….random, in order, oldest first, etc. The frame has a sensor, so it goes on and off as you enter/leave the room. There’s a remote control for you to pause the picture, forward/back up the frame, delete a picture, add pictures, etc. The frame is linked to your computer, so you can do things on either the frame with the remote or on the computer. People can send you pictures right to the frame. You can decide to add the photo to your photos or delete them. You can also send photos from the frame to other people. I’ve had digital frames before and have never been happier as I am with this frame. I’m actually thinking of buying another to put in another room. I LOVE photos, and have them displayed everywhere….end tables, all over the walls in every room, wherever I can. With this device, I have gotten rid of a few photos on tables. This is well worth the money and has been enjoyed by many. Best purchase ever!

Like the motion sensor so it isn’t running in an empty room. Easy to set up. Having a remote control is great. You can set it to auto accept emailed pictures (not attachments, must be in the body of the email). Web page not a great design but functional. Must be plugged in so would be hard to place on a wall but bookcase near a power outlet would be perfect.

Great for gift for remote grand/parents. You can change all the settings via the web page and remote administer it for them. Hardest part will be getting it on wifi for them. I had it sent to my house and I set it up and added picture (via email and the webpage). Great for nursing homes if you can get the wifi setup done (as long as you put it somewhere where it won’t wake them up at night). You might want to record a video of setting up the wifi so you can walk them through it remotely (that’s a tech support hint).

I had a friend use one to send notes to her father who would lose his hearing aids. She would write a note: “I’ll be there at 4pm, Dad” then take a picture of the note and send it to the photo frame (and removing the pic when she got there).

I think it’s an excellent product.

I bought this for my 88yo Mom who’s in assisted living. My siblings are scattered across the US, as well as the grandchildren and great grandchildren and they add photos to her picture frame via the email option.
I scanned the photos from my parent’s cruises and sent them via email as well.
She LOVES it. Besides the enjoyment that she gets, it gives her something different to talk about with the aids and other residents who see it.
I control it from 2 states away and she’s happy not to have to learn another electronic gadget (she has a tablet & smart phone). She tells me if she wants the slideshow sped up or slowed down & if there’s pictures that I should remove.
She also likes that the photos are larger than ones she would hold in her hand so she see more details.
I have been recommending this photo frame to all of my friends with elderly parents.

Golden Review Award: 31 From Our UsersFirst, I’ll start by saying that my criteria for a digital photo frame was heavily weighted by my workflow to support it. If I had to manage all of the photos through the website for the frame manufacturer, then I know I would not keep it updated. What I desired from a workflow perspective is fairly specific, so maybe this review is not for you. But, what I wanted was to seamlessly sync photos between a Lightroom album and the photoframe. I manage all my pictures in Lightroom, and regularly create albums, so this makes for the most sustainable process for my workflow. Furthermore, to add to the workflow constraint, I use OneDrive for cloud storage and Pix-Star seems to be the only current (Nov 2020) frame manufacturer that supports this. Punchline for this review, is that Pix-Star supports my desired workflow, and I was impressed with the picture quality of the frame.

    Workflow description:
    1) Store and manage pictures in Lightroom
    2) Create albums in Lighroom that I’d like to sync with the photoframe
    3) Create smart album in a published drive in lightroom that saves files to a synced OneDrive folder. Note that you can set up lightroom to reduce the file size to align with the resolution of the photo frame which is nice. This significantly cuts down the file size. My full res images are typically 10-15 MB in a JPG format, and they can be compressed down to about half 600k in most circumstances without losing any quality on the photoframe.
    4) Set up Pix-Star to auto sync photos from the specified OneDrive folder.

    Pros and cons:
    Pros:
    – Frame picture quality is great. I’m not a display expert, but I don’t think quality is only about resolution, and what ever Pix-Star has done with this frame is very good. The display has kind of a matte feel to it and photos display very well. When I was researching frames I kind of wanted one with a higher resolution, but went with Pix-Star due to the OneDrive issue I mentioned above, but now I don’t really think the added resolution would do much at all. These pictures look great.
    – integration with most third party cloud or social media sites. Message to other frame manufacturers: get on board with this… no one wants to use your clunky website to manage photos if they don’t have to.
    – Motion sensor works surprisingly well. Frame will shut off when you leave the room and turn on when you get within about 10 feet. I did not think about this feature much when I was researching frames, but I now think this is fairly important that it works well.

    Cons:
    – While this does what I’d like it to do, the website UI is rudimentary and not overly intuitive. Settings are kind of sprinkled around in different places, and you don’t have as much control as I’d like.
    – Auto sync is too infrequent. It seems like the auto sync works only a couple times a day. I emailed Pix-Star about this and they responded that its about 3 times per day, but gave me no specifics. I’ve seen auto update work, but I’ve also let it sit overnight for about 12 hours and it was still not synced. You can always just login to the Pix-Star site and click the sync button which is an easy enough remedy.
    – There should be more flexibility about what you do and don’t publish to the frame. You can share all photos, or you can share, all albums, or all photos from your Pix-Star inbox, but, for example, you can’t share pictures from 1 of 3 albums and your inbox.
    – You can’t provision access to OneDrive to just one folder. You can still set it up such that it only syncs specified folders, but I did not want to give Pix-Star unbridled access to my OneDrive account which has some sensitive data in addition to my pictures. It would be a lot nicer if you could provision access to just one folder similar to how you’d share a folder with someone via Dropbox or OneDrive. I got around this issue because Microsoft gives you 6 OneDrive accounts with their subscription and I don’t use all of them. So I set this up with one of the extra accounts and then share the picture folder between the two one drive accounts. Perhaps this sounds complicated, but you just set it up once and then it works well.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe Pix-Star is brighter and has more pixels. So they look better than a Nix. There is nothing wrong with the Pix-Star that overcomes this advantage. So I would also always get the Pix-Star over the Nix, at least until the Nix has the same number of pixels per inch.

The Pix-Star comes with sample pix that you have to delete if you don’t want them mixed with your family pix (and who would ever want that?)

The Nix has a very useful numeric time and date overlay over the photos. it does obscure a bit of the photos, but in our case that’s OK. The Nix version does not prevent the photo from using the whole screen. The Pix-Star has a yellow bar with black letters (the colors of crime scene tape) at the top of the screen. The photo fits in the remainder of the screen. The size of the letters and numbers is bigger on the Nix, so it is easier to read across the room. After we got in the habit of using the Nix as a clock, it’s annoying that the Pix-Star is a step down in this area.

We don’t use the wi-fi function. I don’t see the over-80 people we know getting out the remote and adding new pix that have been emailed to them. Your mileage may vary. Our old person is close enough that we can swap chips on a visit. If you are this fortunate, you might want to buy two chips so you can do this.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThe Pix-Star 10 Inch Wi-Fi Cloud Digital Picture Frame is a good frame among the many many brands that you see on Amazon. Each of the frames that I looked and tested are missing one thing or the other. This includes: playback features, app features, ability to upload photos from iCloud/Android Photos, or overall frame build quality.

Where Pix-Star stands out is customer service! I had the older 800×600 Pix-Star frame, for which I needed to replace the remote. I emailed the company and they sent a remote at no charge. Mind you, the frame was out of warranty. I followed up with additional questions and received prompt replies.

I tested different frames and here is what I found:

Brookstone (rebranded My Simply Smarthome): WIFI Frame with touchscreen, nice hi-hes but offered just a single playback feature. Also felt cheaply made with a removable paper matte that took up quite a bit of space. Brookstone does not directly support the frame.

Dragon Touch: WIFI Frame with Touchscreen. Non-existent customer service. App features missing.

Other brands: Not tested but based on reviews, I stayed clear.

The Pix-Star frame is not perfect. It does not offer touchscreen or 1980 x 1080 resolution. It uses a remote (which is not the best quality). However, the frame features the ability to use USB, SD, DLNA, and Internet photos such as Google Photos. The App is OK, you can also configure the frame through a website and/or web interface using IP address. Interesting that Pix-Star only makes one frame and that is all. The companies focus is the frame. There is plenty of room for improvement but customer service won this for me!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’m giving this 4 stars because the “off” button doesn’t actually turn the frame off, it just puts it to sleep. The website and app aren’t extremely user-friendly and look kind of jenky.

Now, the good news! This frame downloaded 197 pictures over wi-fi in about 15 minutes. I purchased another frame without all the extra features and it took over an hour to download 147 pictures to the frame over wi-fi. It’s easy to add email addresses for the kids and grandkids to send pictures directly to the frame. The app also sends pictures, videos, voice messages (recorded from the phone) directly to the frame. Videos are stored in a separate file on the frame, so the user does need to navigate to get the videos. The sound quality/speaker quality is okay, nothing fancy–but the other frame I purchased did not have this feature so I have no comparison. It’s NOT like your computer. Speaker quality is more like a cheaper laptop speaker. But, honestly, it doesn’t even matter.

The frame itself is easy to use with the remote. Very easy set-up and includes different display options such as collage and single picture. Mother-in-law will love this, especially because it can play music and podcasts.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersGave this to my grandparents to share pictures of family events, trips, and grandkid pictures. This lets us send them pictures that automatically loads into the frame. You can include a little message in the subject to include with it. If they have issues with it, I can manage it online.

    Parts I love:
    1. There is 8GB storage included. You can put an SD card in to expand the storage.
    2. You can send an email with multiple pictures and videos (as long as it doesn’t exceed your email limit)
    3. No paying for cloud storage
    4. Easy to setup and then not need to review the settings again. If it is needed there is an online interface to remotely help.
    5. Can create separate albums/folders and display whichever you want.

Couple of improvements could be made:
    1. The subject doesn’t update at the exact same time as the picture does.
    2. if a new picture comes in, automatically play that one instantly. It currently adds it to the playlist, but you have to wait for the cycle to go through to see it.
    3. If you put the email addresses into the contacts, then display the name of the contact instead of the email address on the picture.

I got this for my 91 y/o mom so she could receive pictures from the kids, grandkids, and great grandkids and feel more included in our lives. She absolutely loves it and loves getting new pictures. It was extremely easy to set up. Once I shared the newly set up email account, I shared it with family members and the pictures started coming through. I kept it at my house for a few days to play with the settings to make sure it would be perfect for her. I opted not to use the motion sensor to turn the frame on/off and have it come on in the morning and go off at night. We’ve had it for a couple months and have had no problems with the frame. Picture quality is great. The frame has had no WiFi glitches, although a neighborhood WiFi outage did cause it to show “offline”. During those hours, the frame continued to display pictures, just couldn’t receive any new ones until the WiFi was back up. My mom wasn’t even aware there was an outage. Controlling most everything through the website is a huge plus. There are lots of options to choose from to adjust the frame to your liking. It is a wonderful gift for anyone who doesn’t have a smartphone or computer and can’t receive photos through text or email, but I may be purchasing one for myself as well, since I really enjoy watching the pictures

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI love this frame. The size, the quality, the ability to remotely send pics. It’s great.

I did not purchase directly from Amazon. My husband got it for me for Christmas directly from PixStar.

The size of the frame is perfect and it fits perfectly where I have it. And yes, you can hang it. Just use some common sense.

The quality is totally awesome. The pictures look completely different than how they look on my phone.

I love how it turns off with no movement.

I wanted this specifically due to the fact that you can send pictures to the frame via email or the app. And it works seamlessly/.

You can change settings with the remote or form the website. I would like more options in the settings such as more options on how to display them. I haven’t yet put ALL of the pictures i have on the frame as there are many that are not frame worthy but I did choose 3 recent vacations and the frame displays them wonderfully.

The cloud upload does have its limitations although i just put my pics on a usb stick. It works. Just wish I could upload more at one time to the cloud.

All in all I love the frame and do not regret asking for it for Christmas. It was one of the best gifts I received.

This would be great for businesses for their marketing due to the ability to send images via email or the app.

You will not regret purchasing this frame. (Now let’s hope I can say the same in a year.)
