Very good product. Sound is clear. Connects well. Only issue I have is that it does not have a long range. When I go more than 15 ft, it breaks up a bit. Otherwise, I like this product.

Update: high quality buttons, voice notification. quality equipment.

Worked in Discord with literally no fuss. Just showed up after plugging in.

Very light. Audio is fine for what it is.
    Microphone stem is adjustable.

The noise cancelling does work and is extremely good. I have ms Rachel on right next to me and they cannot hear it. However it only works when you have the headset plugged in to the computer. If you are connected through blue tooth then it doesn’t cancel any noise

I like the app and the ability to adjust settings, especially sidetone. I like the voice reminder that you are muted for example. Also the color changes on the dongle are helpful. I like the design, clarity and over functionality. The only downside is comfort. They dropped the ball here. It’s very painful and hard to get use too. If you wear glasses, get something else. States it works with teams, but I see no difference with this headset.

I love that these are wireless and you can’t expect a perfect noise cancelling mic, but these are great! you can hear my baby cry if he’s in my lap, but if he’s in the room next to me you can’t hear him at all! the wireless range, battery life and call quality is amazing though. they aren’t comfortable to wear for 8 hours straight though I absolutely have to take breaks.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI bought these due to a review I’ve seen. I WFH and have little ones I expected these to drown out the background noise and it did not. I did give it 4 stars for the sleek design & feel. The quality is there just not what I was looking for.

The sounds quality is good, better than other comparable work-styled headsets for music and videos (compared to a couple of Jabra headsets I’ve used, which are great for video or phone calls but a bit lacking for music and videos).

The comfort is ok, but the leather-style earpads get quite warm compared to other headsets I’ve used. I wear glasses and found there is also a fair amount of pressure on the arms of my glasses by and around me ears.

The mic quality is decent, but there are times it cuts off the first word or two of what I am saying and I have to repeat things. I think this might be due to the noise-cancelling feature.

Good headset. Holds a charge for hours. Bought this because a review I saw on TikTok showed a WFH mom next to her baby crying but couldn’t be heard on video. She must of altered the video because the noice cancellation does NOT work like that on this headset. My son can be crying in another room and it can be heard on the headset. So if you are buying this because the noise cancellation seems promising, don’t let that be the selling point.

I was on a teams meeting call with my manager. My yorkies bark when anyone comes into the room and they’re loud. I apologized to my manager and said I’m sorry if you hear my dogs. She said you’re fine I don’t hear anything! Lol I was like whattttt?!! They were literally like 2feet away from me love it. Only thing is they could be louder. Other then that I’m impressed

I work from home and need my blue tooth headset to have a good battery life. This lasts almost the entire week! I prefer the one eared headset to allow me to put an air pod in my other ear (podcasts, books or music during the workday). You can also use the headset on either ear, so whichever is comfortable, or in my case, whichever Airpod is charged 🙂

Love this headset. Works great, set up was seamless. Have had no issues. I charge it overnight and it lasts me my whole 8 hr shift without having to charge again. Has a useful mute button, can use it for teams, super comfortable. Only thing I don’t like is for some reason when I don’t have a call I can’t mute it when in “ready”. Granted I just flip the mouth piece up when not on a call. I have 2 boys and have apologized as I knew they were being loud in the back and customers stated they never even heard a thing. So glad I have this as it’s great not to be tied to a desk when working from home and taking care of a 10m old.

Lovely head set with great noise cancellation. Also it lasts about 2 days of 8-hour usage before you need to recharge.

I gave it 4 stars because the usb part that you connect to your laptop seems problematic. I find it almost impossible to plug in. Looking at it , everything looks nice but it’s just almost impossible to plug in. I had to wiggle it in and for like 3 times I have tried it, it’s still the same. I am scared to remove it now because I might just damage it while trying to plug it in.
Maybe I got a defective one though.

    Nice Headse

I had the earlier version of these at work and they work very well. I now have the Voyager 4320UC and the headset is even better with BT5. I tried some Chinese named 2.4Ghz ones that were superior in range but had a poor voice quality. They fixed the issue with the plastic headband cracking by extending a metal reinforcement in the band on these.
These just work well, avoid guessing and just get them.

I attend a lot of meetings and I work on an open floor office, so as expected there is a significant amount of external noise. I purchased these since I had heard of their voice isolation feature and o have no regrets. These are probably the best headset I have ever had. People on the other side of the all cannot hear from external noises, they work really well. The only gripe I have is the ear piece starts to hurt my ears after a long day of meetings, but I guess that is expected. Overall I am very happy.

Good device with a few caveats that should be fixed in software update . For example, if already a phone is connected, connection to laptop MS Teams needs sometimes connect and disconnecting via Device settings in Windows (Bluetooth connection). Alternatively, in similar situation, the supplied dongle needs to be plugged in – plugged out – plug in to work.
    Noise cancellation work very well.

The headset itself is fine. Long battery life, clear audio and comfortable. It does support multiple devices connections, however it does get confused often and requires power cycling.

Teams support is horrible. I would rate this as a Microsoft problem and not the headset. Various teams updates since I purchased this a year ago have enabled and disabled support for the mute button and call answering. It’s random, not reliable and a teams problem.

Arch Linux (Kernel 6.3.9, PulseAudio 16.1).

Simply put, this works great. Using the included BT700 USB-A bluetooth adapter (comes pre-paired with the Voyager 4310 UC headset). I also paired the headset to my Android device. Connecting to both devices simultaneously is easy and works great.

The included BT700 bluetooth adapter has the advantage of providing an LED status indicator. The LED on the BT700 is BLUE when connected, RED when mic is muted, and OFF when the headset is off. This visual feedback is quite nice, especially since the mute button (located on the microphone boom) is a momentary switch. The headset will additionally announce (vocally) that the microphone is muted when the momentary switch is pressed and will, likewise, announce that the mic is unmuted if pressed again. If you attempt to speak into the mic while muted, the headset will provide you with vocal reminder that you are muted. This is all done in hardware.

It is important to note that if no application is currently using the mic as an input device, the mute button on the headset will do nothing. It is not broken. Just connect to a Zoom call, a Discord voice channel, or even your system’s audio control panel (anything that actively read’s from the mic) and the mute button will work fine as intended.

Headset earpiece volume is controlled independently of the current main system output volume using the + and – button on the earpiece. This is very nice if your computer uses speakers at the primary output device but you have set your voice/video app to use the headset for output. The kernel will adjust the headset’s reported volume level as a result of pressing these buttons (+ and -), not the currently selected primary output device. This is an incredibly nice touch.

On this topic, Poly’s Acoustic Fence technology works surprisingly well. Playing reasonably loud music through my computer speakers, people I’m speaking to through the headset can only hear my voice. Microphone quality is clear with good dynamic range. Acoustic Fence does not appear to provide a “muffled” sound like some other noise cancelling microphones I have used.

Audio quality through the earpiece is astonishingly good when using the included BT700 dongle. Bass is surprisingly good, dynamic range overall is good. Sound comes through very clear. You can happily listen to music. The sound is not “tinny”

Charging stand is great. Very nice weighting — it won’t slide around your desk unless you move it. Docking and undocking is fast and simple. Connection is facilitated through an additional set of 5 contacts, which are well hidden on the headset. Insertion force is zero. Headset is nicely guided into position. No glaring design issues.

Overall a strong recommend if you run Linux (or don’t). Truly an amazing headset.

I bought this so I could be hands free in the office. Any other headphones I tried picked up tons of background noise which is a problem for me. I’ve used this washing dishes or just across from people having a conversation and the other end has not been able to hear anything other than myself.

Definitely recommend for anyone that does a lot of calls.

    Perfect for any environme

First the product itself is nice. Sound quality, response time and functionality are great. However, even though the Plantronics Hub app has most of the major provider connections Avaya IX, Cisco IP & Webex, Microsoft Teams, ShorTel and Zoom, RingCentral is not one of them. Unfortunately my company is moving to RingCentral and I wont’ be able to use this. I’m going to try the Poly Voyager Focus 2. Although RingCentral doesn’t explicitly state the V2 is compatible the Focus V1 is on their list. Crossing my fingers the V2 works. It still works as a standard headset but the controls to manage the calls through the headset isn’t there.

I used this with both Teams and Avaya IX Workplace without an issue. RingCentral confirmed this is not on their supported list.

Also, I found the support cushion too bulky.

I bought this to replace a wired headset and I haven’t been disappointed. It can be connected to either the provided dongle (via USB-C version ordered) or Bluetooth. The sound quality is clear and the functionality is exceptional with teams integration out the box. I would recommend downloading the Polycom software for your machine to get better control over features. I would recommend for anyone.

I tested this against other popular headsets including the Jlab go work, Jabra evolve 2 65, Anker powerconf 500, and it came out in first place in the microphone noise supression teast followed closely by the Jlab go work. The test includes placing a loudspeaker playing a podcast to simulate a coworker shouting next to me. It must be noted that the 3rd place was much worse than 2nd place. Co-workers were able to notice the difference immediately, complaining about background noise
    These were the results:

    1. Voyager 4320
    2. Jlab go work
    3. Jabra evolve 2 65 (significantly worse than the Jlab)
    4. Anker powerconf 500 ( almost as if it didnt have noise cancellation)

Headsets are fab, especially when you spend a lot of time on the phone and need to use a keyboard, take notes etc.
Bought a cheapy 30 quid headset and it was fine for occasional use but, on and off the head and moving the boom mic it didn’t last so thought I’d drop the proper money and buy a pro setup. We had these is work and I know Poly (nee Plantronics) were very good kit.
Wow, what a difference! Call quality, noise cancelling, EQ, call quality, headset range and, most of all, comfort. I have genuinely left the house with the headset on cause I forgot I was wearing it. Brilliant setup and well worth the investme

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersSo if you’re like me and you don’t want a work headset to be on both ears (like all the “gamer” headsets) this one deserves your attention.

I like it. It’s a little big but I’m getting used to it… if you wear glasses you have to adjust a little to get the right fit. The “charging base” is nothing except a stand that plugs into a usb adapter or a computer. While this makes for a convenient place to hang and charge, technically you don’t need it. You can plug usb-C directly into the headphones.

These are designed to interface with MS Teams…. it will automatically pick up and hang up based on what Teams does. This took me a while to figure out as I am used to manually turning the headset on and off as needed. There is a tiny power button on the bottom, but it takes a while to pair back up, so isn’t good for “instant-on” needs. I have found the battery lasts all day even when in this “stand-by” mode.

I like the USB Bluetooth receiver, it is very small and pairs automatically. No screwing with laptop BT.

I like the easy to access mute button, on the microphone stick itself. And it syncs with Teams, so when you mute you hear a voice say “Muted”.

However, I do not love the buttons on the earpiece. It has a volume up/down, but they aren’t really buttons as much as a rocker, a little hard to mess with just by feel. The center round “button” appears to manually pick up/hang up, I guess this is for apps other than Teams like Zoom or Webex (we are 99% teams so not sure).

Range is pretty good, I have no problem going from my office to the kitchen on the other side of the house to get a cup of coffee. I have other BT headsets that don’t get that kind of range through multiple walls.

So all in all…. 4/5 stars. I wish the earpiece was smaller, like my old Plantronics headset. But it’s ok and just need time to adjust.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersGot this to replace my wired Plantronics C520 and I wonder why I waited this long to get a wireless headset. It’s easy to use and very good sound quality.

    PROS:
    * USB-C or USB-A models available (both the PC bluetooth dongle and charging station use USB-C on my model and are USB-A on other models)
    * Great sound with good noise cancellation that helps drown out my AC
    * Automatic integration with Windows 10 without installing any special software
    * Easy to pair with the PC bluetooth dongle (mine is USB-C) and my iPhone 13
    * Easy on/off switch to conserve battery and convenient charging stand
    * Automatically repairs with BOTH the PC dongle (Win10) and my iPhone when turning the headset on and I can payback from EITHER without having to switch or repair anything! I Love this feature
    * Volume/Pause/Play/Skip/Mute and on/off buttons on headset
    * Works with Zoom and Teams to answer/hangup/mute/unmute calls & meetings (Note: mine is NOT the “Teams” model so Teams has to already be running)
    * Can use the headset when plugged into USB power when battery is low
    * Can use the headset without the bluetooth dongle like a regular wired headset when the headset is plugged directly into a PC USB port.
    * USB-C model will work with PCs or charging ports that only have USB-A ports if you buy some cheap USB-C female to USB-A male adapters.
    * Great range on the bluetooth dongle (anywhere in my 2-story 1800sqft house and most of my 1/4 acre property including outbuildings). I find I can increase the reception by plugging the USB dongle into a USB extension cable and mounting it higher up rather than just plugging into the side of my laptop/docking station.

    CONS:
    * Wish the volume could go a bit louder, especially in Teams calls, but it’s still plenty loud, especially when playing music.
    * Wish I could swap the Right/Left sound so I can use the microphone on the left side instead of the right side (which you can still do if you don’t mind hearing stereo sound come out the wrong earpieces)
    * Wish I could turn off the annoying phrases the headset says to me when I use it (“Power on”, “Battery high”, “PC connected”, “Pairing”, “Phone connected”, “Volume Maximum”, “Mute on”, “Mute off”, “Power off”, etc.), but at least it’s usually drowned out by the louder audio content. [Edit: Apparently you can change the Mute/Volume phrases to be tones by downloading the smartphone app, but not the other phrases]
    * If you buy the USB-C model and your PC has limited USB-C ports (or the port is covered by a docking station like mine is), you may need to order some cheap USB-C to USB-A adapters so you can use any USB-A port or power source for the bluetooth dongle and/or charging station.
    * Documentation included in the package is abysmal (only a simple “Start Here” tag attached to the headset with a couple diagrams). Had to download the manual to figure out how to connect and use when I first got it.
    * Some models don’t include the charging station so make sure you get the right one
    * A bit pricier than similar models.

BOTTOM LINE: I highly recommend this headset for anyone who wants to replace their wired headset used for meetings/calls or who wants to listen to music from their PC or phone without having to constantly re-pair devices.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have a Windows laptop I am obligated to use for work. I had hoped it would be a case of plugging in the dongle and away I go.

That wasn’t the case. Every application had erratic behaviour and would cycle crash. Even control panel > sound was unavailable. I tried to install Poly Lens but that wanted to update the dongle, but no success – it would hang on 0% install.

Work IT support were no support at all seeing as it wasn’t a company headset. But they said if they did it then they would have installed Poly Lens before even attempting to plug in the dongle.

So I uninstalled as much as I could, restarted, then installed Poly Lens. I plugged in the dongle and switched on the headset. This time the dongle update installed.

But it didn’t fix the issue. I thought as much as it worked fine on my Mac and didn’t require a dongle update.

So, in a last ditch effort I disabled all sound devices in device manager, including the internal ones. SUCCESS. The clue was that control panel > sound wouldn’t even work.

So definitely not plug and play, but after 2 days I sorted it, and no thanks to my IT department.

Also added to say this is my second headset – I wanted a Teams USB-C one from Amazon (don’t trust 3rd parties) but only one was via Amazon Warehouse. The dongle was DOA – it didn’t light up. However, the charger needed USB-C too – it didn’t have a plug. That mucked up my cable set-up.

So I chanced my luck with a USB-C non-Teams version with no charger. It works with Teams and the dongle changes colour (e.g. red for mute). The only difference I think between the Teams and non-Teams is the dedicated button that brings up Teams when you press it. Teams compatible is just as good as Teams certified for me.

I don’t have a charging stand, but I’ll just charge it with a USB-C charging cable already on my desk. It works for me.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersEven before COVID I had a lot of video calls. Now, I spend most of my working day, working from home, on video calls. I was jealous of colleagues who could get up, move around, walk away, even grab a coffee without leaving the call.

I was worried about the bluetooth. I’ve always found it unreliable and finnicky. I didn’t need to worry. The included dongle is pre paired with the headset (which arrived fully charged).

When you plug the dongle in to your machine (a mac in my case) it seems to appear as an external sound card rather than a bluetooth adapter.

It just works immediately. No pairing, no clicking, no nothing.

The light on the dongle goes red when the headset is muted.

I downloaded the desktop app. This immediately updated the software on the headset and dongle, again zero issues.

Then I customised the headset with a UK voice (tells you about battery state and muting etc), and tweaked some other settings to taste.

It immediately worked with my applications.

I love the mono earpiece because I tend to get too loud if I have stereo earpieces in. There is customisable talk back so that you hear your own voice to help with this as well.

It drops on to the charging dock easily. For travel a nice little soft bag is included along with a cable. If you forget to charge or are in a no radio area it will work corded via USB.

I used to buy Jabra but they kept breaking.

Poly is the new name for Plantronics maker of bland but high quality call centre kit for decades.

This new model shows that with the new brand they’re prepared to make a product not only excellent in function, but stylish too.

    It’s awesome, I’m delighted.

If you need to work on MS Teams and pair seamlessly your mobile to take calls on both devices JUST BUY THESE HEADPHONES.
During two years of working from home I have tried several options to be able to work on Bluetooth ( so to take the occasional two steps away from my desk, for both my eyes and legs). I work mostly on MS Teams (7/10 hrs per day) and I have the occasional phone call on my iPhone. I have tried the following: Jabra Elite 75; Bowers and Wilkins PX7; Beoplay H4; Beoplay HX, Sennheiser. They all are amazing products but none is designed to take 10 hours on MS teams. The problem is the same for all of these products: no one can hear you clearly when you talk. That’s understandable because these products are designed for music listening, not for work. The Poly headphones instead are MS teams approved and they are just perfect. Sound is clear, even good for listening to music and what’s most important: thanks to the mic boom arm everyone can hear you loud and clear, always. On top of that they can connect to two devices (in my case pc and iPhone) and they work seamlessly between the two, allowing me to take a call on either device (or to listen to something on either device) while always maintaining connection, volumes and always being ready to take or make a call on either device. With the audiophile headphones I mentioned above multipairing was always a mess, with all of them. They would lose connection, mess up the volume, not take a call when needed, etc. So, bottom line: if you need to work on MS Teams and pair seamlessly your mobile to take calls on both devices BUY THESE. If you need to listen to music when commuting or travelling and look cool, buy any of the other products I mentioned.

Just get it. It sounds great, it’s light and comfortable, and the battery just keeps going.

The headsets are good. I like it very much on my calls. I like the mic isolation from the outside sound. I like that the battery is really good. I don’t like it is the range. I was expecting a higher range such us 50 m. But other then that I am pleased with the headsets.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI spend most of my working life on telephone calls, whether that’s with MS Teams, zoom or via my mobile. As this is the case I was looking for the perfect headset to use both at home and while out and about. The Poly is expensive, that’s the reason I’m not going with 5 stars as I think the price-point should be below 100 for a decent headset. I also would like a USB-C option to support the newer laptops.
All that said, it performs brilliantly. I love the mute control and the fact it also gives you audible announcements that you’re muted, even if you try to speak you hear “muted” in your ear, which is very valuable (for me) as I often forget I’m muted!
The connection to PC and bluetooth to mobile works really well. I had a similar headset prior to this and it was always answering the wrong call (e.g. Teams would ring on mobile and PC, it would answer the mobile first). The Poly appears to prioritise the PC – another asset!
Comfort is second to none, I’ll happily have this on for a few hours without any trouble whatsoever. The Poly feels sturdy on your head. Definitely like you’re wearing a luxury headset.

Finally the battery life. I’m not sure how they do it but I can’t yet seem to get it to drain – it’s fantastic! I charged it on Sunday and it’s now Friday and it’s still saying “Battery 10 hours” when I power it on – that’s a week of heavy calling.

Would I buy again? I’d definitely like the price to be a little in-line with that of other headset brands. But the performance is great. The controls are self-explanatory and very simple to use and integrate with your preferred voice-app of choice.

Got this to try and make myself more comfortable and less ‘tethered’ whilst enduring the endless Teams meetings with working from home. Had the headset a couple of weeks now and really quite impressed. Setup was very easy and didnt take long at all. The headset itself is supremely comfortable and the battery life has been again very impressive. Sound quality hasn’t been quite as good as I had hoped for the money, but is perfectly adequate for Teams meetings and the like (it is not as if I am listening to music with this and it is obviously only monaural so will obviously be limited). In conclusion, a premium product but at a premium price.

Poly Voyager 4310 UC came simply packaged and is a single ear headset. In the box came the headset, Bluetooth dongle, USB-C cable (for charging and wired connection) and carry bag with a separate attached pouch for the Bluetooth dongle. However, there were no instruction in the box or software. But after going to the manufacturer’s website, I was able to download the necessary software to manage the device. The firmware version for both the dongle and headset needed updating and was simple enough to update.
The headset worked straight out of the box with the Bluetooth dongle plugged into the computer and the computer automatically installed the drivers (Windows10). Sound quality was very clear and crisp, and the noise cancelling is excellent.
The headset itself is adjustable and comfortable to wear, has a volume up/down and a dedicated team’s button on the earpiece. The mic boom arm is adjustable up and down and has an easy to find mute button.
The headset claims to have a 50-meter range, but I get just over 10 when connect to the supplied Bluetooth dongle before it starts to cut out. I have also managed to find it cheaper with a charging stand included.
If this product came with charging stand and instruction would have given 5 stars.

The headset is very comfortable and has made virtual meetings and calls easy. It is linked to a Microsoft Teams to make calls easier and has useful functional buttons.
The wireless functionality remains when when walking away from the laptop or into another room. The sound quality is very clear and cuts out background noise, even in a busy office. It is very practical for agile working, both at home and in the office.

    Great headse

The headset comes in a plain box but the contents are fantastic.
A silky storage bag, a Bluetooth usb adapter the up to date usb c charging cable and of course the headset.
It comes charged so was ready to use. Easily connected to the Bluetooth on my laptop but it is advised to use the proprietary usb Adapter to get the full functionality when using it with apps like Teams.
Can’t really fault the sound and mic quality both very sharp and clear. Amazing range as it worked without any issues 12 metres away going through thick walls.
The headset sits well on the head just little glitch with the length of the adjustment arm would have been great to be a couple of centimetres longer.
The ear cushions are very comfortable both on the ear and head part. Cover on the earpiece comes off and hopefully replacements are available. Can be worn on both sides of the head with the rotating mic arm. Overall very well built.
Seamless use of the controls on the front of the earpiece. If you looking for a single ear headset you will not be disappointed. Will definitely give the freedom of moving away from the desk without compromising sound quality.

    Super comfy single ear headse

This product is very easy to setup and get going, plus the headset seems to charge quickly and last long period of time.

There are a few issues with the sound quality at times and can make it hard to distinguish what someone may be saying during calls or meetings but for the most part, works fine.

Other headsets at a similar price range tend to perform slightly better, but overall is a good entry-level headset to use whilst working from home.

! spend most of my day on either Teams, Zoom or mobile calls and I have been using this product for the last week. The first thing to comment on is the ease of set up; using the supplied bluetooth dongle, the connection to my laptop was pretty instant and again, pairing with my phone was easy. I downloaded the supporting software from Poly on my laptop and would recommend others do this as it provides some useful settings and configurable controls. For example, I found the audio on my voice in the earpiece was a little loud when on ‘standard’ and changing to low was more realistic. I have been garnering feedback from colleagues and the voice quality from the headset is reported as excellent and even’ best I have heard’. There are some useful features such as one touch call answering for both teams and mobile calls as well as easy to use volume controls. Finally, I have found the one ear design to be far more comfortable the my previous dual speaker headset and the padding etc is very good making this comfortable to wear for extended periods. Overall have found it a very good headset to use and would recommend.

I found this product to be very good in terms of usage for a laptop and all activities you would require.

Very sleek packaging, with everything required for a quick and easy set up.

I found the product very well made and comfortable to use for prolonged periods of time while working.

Ideal to use with Teams as compatible with this function.

The range for the usage is also great and again ideal when not around the laptop.

Overall a very good product but maybe on the pricey side.

    Product arrived well packaged.
The setup of the device was easy.
I love the fact that I can use this device without having to be close to my laptop/computer the range is really good and the quality is still very clear when you away from the Bluetooth connector. Volume is good and sound quality is amazing.
If one is looking for a entry entry level headset this one from poly is definitely a good one to get.
