Portwest Mens Steelite Protector Workwear Ankle Safety Boot

My hubby wears size 16 shoes, but has been put into compression on both legs & feet, therefore his usual choice of shoes is no longer available, as they only go up to size 16 – so we searched for size 17. Due to my hubby’s restricted mobility of his ankles (caused by the compression wraps) I decided we should try out the low ankle boots, rather than a shoe, & that’s why we ordered these.

My hubby finds them very comfortable – he was initially concerned about the ankle padding of the boots, as his ankles are very sensitive (due to being permanently in compression wraps), but he says they are very soft, & they are ample big enough to accommodate his size 16 feet that are now permanently mummified by wraps.

The boots are safety certified, but my hubby doesn’t wear them as PPE, he just finds the safety shoes-boots comfortable, but we can say they are well made, fully sealed & very soft around the ankle, warm for the feet & the laces are good at staying tied (nothing more annoying that retying your laces every 5 minutes).
